SOLEA
With a loud groan, Solea wakes up with a headache so strong she's still feeling the aftermath from the night before. Headache, body pain and dry mouth.
Hearing a knock on her door she hears a distant voice; only hearing a faint version of what's being said due to how she's currently feeling.
"Wake up wake up! I got breakfast ready " Nova voice was heard on the other side of the door, sounding more alert than she was.
Rolling around the bed it takes her a couple minutes to just open her eyes. Adjusting to the sunlight coming in the room she turns on her side and see Tylenol on the dresser.
Thinking Nova or Rashad set the capsule on her dresser she didn't think much of it.
Rolling around in her bed for a few more minutes she heads towards the bathroom to collect herself. Observing herself in the mirror she's shocked that she's still in her club outfit.
Makeup smudged, lashes smushed, hair tousled from not being brushed and put into a bonnet.
All she could do is laugh with her hand over her mouth, "I just know we had a good time last night."
Turning around to head to her shower, she was ready to freshen up so she can debrief on how last night went.
Getting out the shower, following up with her daily face routine she opted on slipping into something comfortable.
After adding her accessories for the day and picking up the Tylenol on her dresser she headed downstairs to the sound of music.

Since staying with her brother and nova she realized they loved to play music throughout the house when they cook.
She loved that about their relationship, The symphony blasting through the entire house, weaving delicate sounds and melodies that transported them to a place of serenity.
When she finds her other half she hopes to copy their little tradition.
"Finally you up" Nova announces once she seen Solea walk down with unsteady steps.
Solea still feeling the pain in her head from the events of last night, even though she was trying to hide how she felt, her subtle movements to get to the kitchen betrayed her.
Walking over to Nova she fell into her arms for a hug, needing the comfort of somebody.
"How the hell did i even get up those steps?" She asked.
Nova couldn't help but giggle at her friend in the state she was in. Knowing she completed her mission of a "Successful Girls Day ".
"Soleaaaa" she stretched her name in exaggeration. "We had a time, you don't remember ?"
With a shake of her head and confusion showing on her face Solea responded "All i remember was asking for a shot to calm my nerves and i woke up to you knocking on my door".
Releasing eachother from the hug with a shocked look on her face, Nova was excited to recite the events of the night before.
"Ooou let's sit real quick the food can wait i need to tell you what happened".
Sitting at the high top counter Nova spent 10minutes reminding Solea on what happened. To Solea twerking and having a time to them getting lit with the other girls in the booth and getting drinks sent to them.
By the time Nova finished her story Solea's mouth was hung open with a laugh coming out.
"Hold on hold on we had shots coming to us ??"
"Girl yess and this one nigga was eyeing you so hard i don't know how you ain't feel it the first 5 mins we got in there". Nova looked at her with an amused expression
Laying her head on her forearms Solea could not believe how she acted last night. As shocked as she was at her actions, she was happy.
Solea was happy that she had a good time last night, not letting her social anxiety get in the way of her socializing and having a good time. The fact that she twerked and danced in front of people put the icing on top.
Lifting up her head she looked toward Nova with a big smile. "I had so much fun though I'm not gone lie " she laughed.
With a laugh Nova looked at her friend "I know that's right, im glad you did " lifting her hand up to high five.
Giggling at her friend she lifted her hand to return the gesture, as they got up to fix their food to settle down Solea remembered the Tylenol she put on the counter while they was talking.
"You got a water bottle? I forgot i need to take this Tylenol. Thank you for leaving it out for me boo". Walking over to the countertop she picked up the tablet.
Looking over at Solea in confusion Nova went in the fridge to grab the water bottle.
"Girl i didn't leave that out for you". Slight confusion evident in her tone.
"Oh, Rashad must've left it out for me" Solea replied without a second thought.
" Ion think so boo..my drunk ass went up there to talk to him after we got here and he came to help my take my clothes off, a bitch was out of there".
Looking over at Nova she was confused.
"Then who the hell gave me medicine... let alone knew i went out and needed it " Solea mumbled.
"Sante' " Nova gasped with widen eyes, looking over.
"Girl i know you've been trying to get me prepared for his legendary arrival but you'n got to say his name all the time " Solea turns to nova swallowing the liquid after popping the tablet in her mouth.
"No boo, I'm dead ass I'm just remembering that he landed last night. He was upstairs smoking with Rashad after we said goodnight, i just remember being so drunk"
You could almost hear a pen drop after hearing Nova's confession. Solea's heart throbbed loudly, its rhythm echoing through the house, drowning out all other sounds. She wrestled with an overwhelming sense of anxiety, unsure of how to react or even acknowledge that he was the one that gave her the Tylenol.
Solea glanced at her friend , making sure she heard right. " .... So you saw Sante' ?"
"Yesss"
"Yesterday? "
"Yess" Nova spoke louder, thinking Solea couldn't hear her the first time.
" you saw Sante' yesterday ? As in last night after we came from the club." Solea repeated her sentence, trying to make sure she heard right.
"Bitch... alright now at first i thought you couldn't hear me but now you playing." Nova stale faced her.
"I'm just trying to wrap my head around this" With her hands on her cheeks, lost for words.
"Omggg so he saw me last night?? After the club? he saw me passed out in my dress. Do you know i haven't seen this man since the wedding and the first time he see me im passed out in the bed not even knowing he is a couple feet away from me. Ughh do you think i was slobbing ? Since i was drunk you know." Solea went on a whole ramble after hearing he was in her space without her knowing.
"Ok ok hold on boo imma need you to slow down and just breathe." Nova walked over to her, placing her hand on Solea shoulders and practicing breath control.
Breathing in and out, eyes closed she started regaining control instead of letting every negative thought run wild in her mind.
"So, now since we got you back in control we can answer some questions." She calmly stated.
With a shake of her head Solea gave her the approval to continue her remembrance of last night.
"Okk so yes i did see him yesterday night... well morning since we got here around 3 am but that's neither here nor there." She commented with a giggle.
Giggling with her Solea couldn't even protest because it was late when they got in, she just wasn't aware how late.
"I remember i went upstairs to drunk talk and get on your brother's nerves." Nova starts with another laugh, knowing she loves to get on her husband's nerves.
"I walk in didnt even realize he was in the room till he said something like "hey sis" girl i was drunk. I just know i was spooked because i knew you was just a few rooms down. So i said my little greating to bro and got out of there."Nova finished off, not wanting to miss a detail for her friend.
Inhaling the words she'd just spoken, Solea remained in disbelief. Sante's presence in her room sent butterflies dancing in her stomach. She pondered on if he admired her dress and noticed the changes in her since they last seen each other.
Rubbing her hands down her face she let out a loud sigh while puffing her cheeks. "Well isn't that something... i hope whenever we see eachother again it's less awkward now." She voices still at lost for words.
"Yea i hope so too boo. But that is so cute that he gave you a Tylenol for your headache after knowing we went out." Nova pouts to her friend with puppy dog eyes.
Nova was still team Solea and Sante', she knew they were meant to be. They just have to come together for a mutual talk.
Looking to her friend Solea couldn't do anything but return to the pout as well. "I knowww that was so sweet." She whined hating he got her feeling this way but loving to know he thought of her well being.
"Oh bitch not the whine. You got it bad." Nova looked over to her with a laugh.
"Shutup" Solea whined while covering her face.
Walking into target Solea came in to only get a few things. She was going to start doing self care days and she needed some snacks for the in between times.
Turning into the grocery aisle with all the chips and snacks she started to browse the aisle to see what was going to be her late night sweet for the night.
While scanning she realized she wasn't in much of a chip mood, and the other sweets wasn't to her liking.
Exiting the aisle Solea made her way to the baking aisle to get some brownie mix and settle for that.
After scanning the aisle for the Betty Crocker milk chocolate brownies, she finally spots them on the top shelf.
Despite her disappointment, the brownie mix remained hard to reach on the top shelf at Target. Trying her best efforts to stretch and grasp it, the box remained out of reach. As she contemplated a strategy to retrieve it without drawing attention, a deep voice behind her was heard, "I'll get it for you, beautiful".
Solea turns around and sees a 6' darkskin with waves, chains accessorizing his neck and a Rolex complementing his wrist.
"Yes please, I've been trying to get it down for a lil minute" Solea responds with a laugh, thankful that she didn't have to climb the shelf's like she thought.
He smirked while getting the brownie mix with little to no effort."I could tell, you was staring at it like you wished it would just fall".
Solea side eyed him "Mmcht alright not too much on me".
Passing the brownie mix to her he couldn't help but feel shocked that she didn't remember him from the club. He's use to everybody knowing him, let alone the females flocking to his every word.
"So you don't remember me?" He finally breaks the ice for himself and ask.
With a confused look Solea looked over to him and examined his face, trying to see if she remembered him from anywhere.
After looking him over it finally clicked, the description Nova gave her earlier about a guy wanting her attention looked like the same man infront of her.
Taking in his appearance she could see him fully in the light, and couldn't help but agree that he was handsome. White teeth, smooth skin and he didn't have this shades on today so you can see his round dark brown eyes.
"Ohhh you're one of the men that sent me and my girl shots last night aren't you?" She smirked looking up at him, amused that he wanted her to remember him.
"Yea i had to show you i was on you, i also wanted you to enjoy your time". He spoke with a touch of assertiveness in his tone.
"Mmm well thank you, i really appreciated it "
She smiled, placing her brownie mix in her cart and getting ready to walk away.
Before she could walk away she feels a hand on her waist, stopping her in her tracks.
"Hold on beautiful, i know you not just gone leave like that ." He questioned with a raise of his eyebrow
"Could i get your number ? I would really like to take you on a date and get to know you."
He said while admiring her figure, lifting his eyes as his gaze went from her shoes all the way to her lips.
Solea shocked at the offer not knowing if he was serious or not but also shy since he was being forward with his intentions.
"Umm yes sure" she blushed and slightly smiled.
After exchanging numbers, they both shared a goodbye and parted ways.
Leaving Solea wondering if agreeing to going on a date with him was a good idea, but paid it no mind.
It took me so long to finish this chapter i don't even know why
