Next Morning - 8 am
In the Kitchen
The next morning, the sun woke everyone up. So, in the warmth of the morning sun, the BTS family faced a new day. Jin, as usual, was busy making breakfast in the kitchen. It smelled delicious. There are maids at home, but Jin usually loves to cook for everyone. Because of his work and shifts, he rarely has time and energy to cook for them. So, when there is a weekend or less work, he makes breakfast for them.
In Y/n's Bedroom
Today, it was Jungkook's turn to wake up Y/n for school. He entered her room where she was sleeping peacefully, hugging her favorite teddy, Mr. Fluffy. Some hair strands covered her face, and her lips had formed a small cute pout, as if she had toffee in her mouth.
Jungkook: "Princess, wake up. It's time for school."
No response.
He sighed and sat on the bedside, gently shaking her shoulder.
Jungkook: "Princess, come on. You don't want to be late for school."
Y/n mumbled something and turned to the other side, covering her head with the duvet. Jungkook chuckled at her reaction.
Jungkook: "Baby, don't test my patience. If you don't wake up now, I will not be nice to you."
Getting no response from Y/n, he sighed and started looking around her room, his eyes fell onto something and he got an idea.
He picked up her teddy in one hand and, in the other, took scissors (as they never raised a hand to Y/n; they used to blackmail her like this).
Jungkook: "Baby, wake up or today will be the last day for Mr. Fluffy!"
He pretended to threaten the stuffed animal, trying to control his laughter. Y/n was still half-asleep; she opened her eyes and looked at him after seeing his hands. She was completely awake.
Y/n: "What are you doing, Oppa?"
Jungkook: "Trying to wake you up, sleepyhead. It seemed like you were in deep hibernation."
Y/n yawned and stretched, finally realizing the time. Jungkook gave her the teddy and kept scissors on her study table.
Y/n: (panic) "Oh no, am I late?"
Jungkook: "Not yet. Now get ready fast."
Y/n sat on the bed, and Jungkook playfully ruffled her hair.
Jungkook: "I am going. Come downstairs for breakfast as early as you can or else I will hang your Mr. fluffy in my bedroom instead of my boxing sag!"
Y/n: (pout) "Yaah oppa, why are you so mean? I will come in 15 minutes"
Jungkook: (chuckles at her pout) "Just kidding. Come fast!"
Saying this, he went to the kitchen to check what Jin was cooking.
In the Kitchen
Jungkook was the first to come down for breakfast.
Jungkook: "Good morning! So, Hyung, what's for breakfast today?"
Jin: (smiling) "Good morning! I thought I'd make something special for everyone. How about bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast?"
Jungkook: "It's Jimin favorite!"
Jin: (smiling) "He must be tired of hospital food so i wanted to make his Favourite for breakfast "
While they were chatting, Namjoon came down looking a bit messy.
Namjoon: "Morning, guys. What's that yummy smell?"
Jin: "Take your seats. It's almost ready. I'll serve in 10 minutes. Till then, have your coffee."
Jungkook: "And my banana milk?"
Jin: (chuckles) "That is kept on the counter near the fridge. Go and get it."
Namjoon and Jungkook went out to dinning table,
They both were talking about the flu condition. Till then, Taehyung joined them too.
Taehyung: "Morning, everyone. What's happening here?"
Jin: "Nothing. We are talking about the flu outbreak at the hospital."
Jungkook: "Yeah, it's been spreading quite a bit lately. I heard even some of the staff got sick."
Namjoon: "Exactly. It's crucial for everyone to take precautions, like wearing masks and washing hands frequently."
Jin: "Well, we just need to be cautious. It's hitting the hospital staff, so it's better to take preventive measures. Stay sanitized, and if you feel unwell, it's best to get checked."
Jungkook: "And we should probably avoid crowded places as much as possible, you know, to be on the safe side."
Namjoon nodded, taking a sip of his coffee.
Jin: "Even Jimin caught the flu."
Namjoon: "Yes, right. Make sure to wear a mask while visiting him. I almost forgot to tell you that yesterday."
Jin: "Alright, Tae, I am packing breakfast for Jimin and J-hope. After reaching the hospital, hand it to them."
Taehyung: "Sure, Hyung."
At last Suga came downstairs and took his coffee from the table and and went to sit on the couch to read his daily newspaper.
Till then, Y/n got ready. She grabbed her bag and made her way downstairs, climbing down the stairs while running.
Everyone: "Don't run on the staircase; you might fall."
Y/n is smart like Namjoon and at the same time clumsy like him, that's why everyone always had to look out for her every action to avoid any mishap.
Suga was sitting on the couch, while everyone was sitting at the dining table. He picked her up and walked towards others. While putting her down, he spoke.
Suga: (strict) "How many times have I told you not to run on stairs?"
Y/n: "Sorry, Oppa."
Jin: "Be careful, Princess."
Y/n nodded, and digging into her breakfast. Y/n noticed J-Hope and Jimin weren't at the breakfast table. She was wondering if Jimin came home last night or not. Namjoon noticed Y/n was lost in her thoughts.
Namjoon: "Baby, what happened? You didn't like the breakfast?"
Y/n: "No, Oppa, I love bacon."
Namjoon: "Then why are you not eating? Where were you lost?"
Y/n: "Oppa, where is Jimin and J-Hope Oppa? Jimin Oppa didn't come home last night after his surgeries?"
Y/n made a sad face and continued her breakfast.
Suga: "Baby, Jimin will come home today. It was not safe for him to come at midnight, so he stayed back. And J-Hope also had some emergency, so he went back to the hospital."
Y/n nodded her head while Namjoon and Jin sighed as Suga handled the situation. It was better for Y/n to not know about Jimin's condition.
After finishing your breakfast, You went to Taehyung's chair.
Y/n: "Oppa, can you please help me make my ponytail?"
Taehyung kept his newspaper aside and took the hairbrush from your hand, starting to make the ponytail while everyone adored you from their seats.
Taehyung: "Done."
Y/n: "Thank you, Oppa. Now shall we leave?"
Saying this, You started walking towards living room, but Jungkook held your waist and made you sit on the tabletop.
Jungkook: (strict) "Where are you escaping, huh? Drink your milk first."
Y/n: (in mind) How did he catch me? I was planning to avoid it.
Jungkook: (strict) "Do you think I will let you avoid drinking milk? I have known you since the day you were born. Don't act smart in front of me."
Y/n: (nervous) Hehe.
You started drinking milk with weird faces, but then realization hit you.
Y/n: (in mind) "One minute. Did I say that out loud? How did Oppa hear me saying avoiding milk? Haven't I said that in my mind? Did he just read my mind? No, how can it be possible?"
Jungkook: (while looking at the plate) "No, not at all. Who said I can read your mind?"
You looked at him with a wide mouth while everyone was having their breakfast as if nothing happened. Jin noticed your stunned reaction.
Jin: "Princess, we are your brothers. We can read you."
After breakfast, Jin handed Taehyung the packed meal for Jimin and J-Hope.
Jin: "Here, take this to them and make sure they eat properly."
Taehyung: "Got it, Hyung."
Taehyung took the food and got up to leave for the hospital. Jin put Y/n's lunch in her bag.
Jin: "Baby, finish your lunch. I should not see any leftovers. Understood?"
You nodded yes while still sipping your milk slowly. Taehyung knew it's not possible for you to drink the whole glass in this life. He kept your glass aside and put you down from the table.
Taehyung: "Let's go, baby. Go put on your shoes."
You grabbed your bag, giving everyone a quick hug before rushing to the door. Jin kissed your forehead.
Y/n: "Bye, everyone! Love you all!"
You went to the shoe rack to put on your shoes while Jungkook was whining.
Jungkook: (whining) "Hyung, Why didn't you let her finish?"
Taehyung: (Small smile) "Come on, Jungkook. You know she takes forever to finish a sip."
Jungkook: "But still, Hyu...(cut)"
Namjoon: "It's okay, Jungkook. Sometimes there can be exceptions, right?"
Jungkook nodded in his defeat and continued to have his breakfast. Taehyung walked towards You and picked you up.
