The morning sun had just started to peek through the curtains of the Bangtan residence. Y/n was still lost in her dreamland. Today, It was Suga's turn for waking her up for school.
Suga: (walked in room) "Y/n, it's time to wake up. You've got school, kiddo."
There was no response. Suga sighed, and went near her and leaned in closer.
Suga: (speaking a bit louder) "Baby, you need to get up. You have ten minutes or else you will be late."
Y/n: (mumbled inside the duvet) "Oppa five more minutes..."
Suga: (serious) "No more five minutes; I know you will not wake up."
After waiting for a few moments with still no movement from Y/n, Suga decided to give her a final warning.
Suga: (sighs) "Alright, I'm giving you ten minutes. If you're not up by then, Taehyung will come up."
Suga went upstairs to his room to grab his files and bag.
10 minutes later,
He returned to check on Y/n, but she was still sleeping. He went downstairs. Taehyung was eating his breakfast with the other members.
Suga: (walking downstairs) "Tae, your turn. Y/n's still not up."
Taehyung chuckled, putting down his strawberry Juice. "Got it, Hyung. I'll wake her up." He went upstairs to Y/n's room.
Taehyung: (knocking on Y/n's door) "Y/n, wake up! You have to go to school, sleepyhead."
No answer. He opened the door and saw Y/n still asleep. He went near her bed and sat beside her.
Taehyung: "Baby, wake up now; you're already late."
Y/n moved a bit but didn't wake up. Taehyung laughed to himself, thinking what was his thinking by knocking the door and waking her up like this, she is a heavy sleeper unless you shake her she is not going to wake up.
Taehyung: (shouted) (shaking Y/n gently) "Y/n are you waking up, or should I call Jungkook?"
(Y/n finally opens her eyes, blinking against the morning light)
Y/n: (scared) "No, I am awake. Don't call Jungkook oppa."
Taehyung: (chuckled) "Just name of Jungkook is enough to bring you back from dead!"
Y/n: (whining) "Oppa you scared me."
Taehyung: (chuckled) "Now go get ready fast, Call me once you are done I am waiting in my room"
After a while, Y/n finally got up, getting ready for school. She called Taehyung, who helped her tie her hair into a ponytail. Together, they headed downstairs to join the rest of the family for breakfast, where everyone was busy with their morning routine.
At the breakfast table,
Suga: (smirking) "Finally decided to join the living world?"
Y/n: (rolling her eyes) "Very funny."
Jin: (Looking at Y/n) "Princess, I made your favorite pancakes!"
Y/n: (Sparkling eyes) "My Favourite, thank you Jin oppa! They look delicious!"
Jungkook: (slapping on hand lightly) "First milk, then pancakes."
Y/n: (pout) "Aghhh, Oppa"
Jhope: "Y/n, no tantrums. Drink it fast"
Y/n: (pout) "But till I finish the Milk Jungkook Oppa will eat all the pancakes"
Jungkook: (confuse) "W-what are you saying, (smirk) btw that was my initial plan"
Taehyung: (teasing) "Well, it's not that hard to predict when it comes to you, Jungkook."
Jungkook: (smiling) "Alright, but who can resist these amazing pancakes?"
Y/n: (giggling) "I guess need to finish my milk first, or someone here," (looking at Jungkook) "will snatch them away."
Y/n: (finally finishing the milk) "Okay, I'm done! Now, no one can take my pancakes."
Jungkook: (looking disappointed) "No way, Y/n will finish all of them now"
Jin: "You don't worry about that I will make more if needed. Baby you can eat as much you want"
Y/n: (Playfully sticking out her tongue) "Don't worry, Jungkook oppa, I will make sure you will not get any."
Suga: (serious) "Y/n, did you grab everything you need for school?"
Y/n: (checking her backpack) "Yeah, I think so."
J-hope: (smile) "Have you done your homework?"
Y/n: (nodding) "Yes."
Jin: "Good. Remember, don't forget your belongings and eat lunch on time."
Y/n: "I know, oppa."
Jungkook: (firmly) "If I find out you have skipped lunch, then see."
Y/n: (pout) "Yaah, oppa, don't scare me."
Taehyung: (strict) "Jungkook is right Y/n, don't you dare to skip your lunch"
Y/n: (crossing your arms) "You both are so bad"
Jungkook/Taehyung: (smirk) "we know we are"
Jin: (soft) "Come on baby, now finish your breakfast."
Y/n: (looking around) (curious) "Oppa where is Jimin oppa? I want to tell him something"
Jin: (thinking) "He haven't come home last night; I think he is still in hospital"
Taehyung: (nervous) "He called me yesterday, I forgot to tell you he had some emergency so he stayed back"
Suga: (strict) "how can he be so careless; he should have at least informed others too"
Namjoon: (nervous) "Hyung, he informed me too. I thought you also got message so I didn't bother to tell you"
Jin: (strict) "It's okay Joon, I will see Jimin myself in hospital."
Taehyung: (nervous) "Jin Hyung, why are you stressing out, isn't it normal for him to stay back at hospital"
Suga: (firm)"Problem is not that he stayed back. He didn't care to inform us is the problem"
Y/n: (confused) "Suga oppa, why are you scolding Tae oppa in the morning"
Suga calmed a bit.
Suga: "Baby, I was not scolding him we were just talking"
Y/n: "But when you will go to hospital, you can talk with Jimin oppa directly why are you getting hyper at home"
Jin: (calm)"Y/n is right, Let's not stress over this too much. We can talk to Jimin in hospital."
Jungkook: "Yeah, exactly."
Suga: "You're right. Sorry Tae I got worked up on you."
Taehyung: "It's okay, Hyung."
Jungkook was done with his breakfast he left first with Taehyung.
After breakfast, Namjoon grabs his car keys and asks Y/n,
Namjoon: (smiling) "Ready for school?"
Y/n: "Yeah, let's go."
Saying this, she runs towards Namjoon to hold his hand. He grabs her backpack with the other hand. They leave the house, and Namjoon starts the car.
(Yes, he can drive and No one was harmed in this story by his driving because it's a fanfiction after all.)
Namjoon: "Don't forget anything, and have a great day at school."
Y/n: "Bye Oppa."
As they reach to her school gate. She kissed his cheeks before getting out of car, he wave her goodbye and goes to the hospital.
At school,
Y/n went to her class where her best friends saved a seat for her. Yun-jin and Rose waved to Y/n.
Rose: "Y/n, come here."
Y/n: "Good morning, Yun-jin, and Rose."
Yun-jin/Rose: (sad) "Good morning, Y/n."
Y/n: (curious) "What happened? Why are you both so tense?"
Rose: (sad) "Exams are starting from next week. Aren't you nervous?"
Y/n: (sigh) "Not yet. I won't feel nervous until one day before the exam."
Rose and Yun-jin chuckled.
Yun-jin: (teasing) "Come on, Y/n. You are a topper. It doesn't matter if you get nervous or not."
Y/n: (teasing back) "You're talking as if you both fail in every exam."
Bell rang, and everyone gathered in the class. The homeroom teacher entered the class with a new student.
Teacher: "Good morning, class. Please settle down. Today, we have a new transferred student joining our class. Please give a warm welcome to Su-jin!"
Su-jin: "Hello everyone. My name is Su-jin, and I'm from Busan. I just moved here with my family last week. I'm really excited to meet you all and make new friends."
The class exchanged curious glances, some students nodding in acknowledgment, while others whispered amongst themselves. Su-jin was very beautiful, Doe eyes, black orbs, Black hairs honey skinned. Everyone started talking about her as if they were jealous of her. But Y/n smiled warmly at Su-jin. she was always open to making new friends.
Y/n: (whispering to Rose) "She seems nice. I hope we can be friends."
Rose: (crossed arms) "But why do I feel something fishy about her?"
Yun-jin: "I don't think so. I agree with Y/n; she seems nice."
Teacher: "Also, week clubs have been announced. If anyone is interested in any of the clubs, give me names today itself."
Jeyhun (Boy class president): "Sir, which clubs are there?"
Teacher: "We have a variety of clubs, ranging from sports to arts. There's the basketball club, art club, science club, and many more. Just let me know your interests, and I'll guide you to the right one."
The students began discussing their interests and preferences for clubs. Y/n turned to Yun-jin and Rose.
Y/n: "What are you both thinking of joining?"
Rose: "Science club, obviously. what about you?"
Yun-jin: "I'm torn between the literature club and the basketball club. Both sound fun, but I will go for Basketball!"
Y/n: "I'm definitely going for the art club."
Rose: "Since we all are choosing different clubs, let's join this club in common too."
Yun-jin: (excited) "Sure, why not? Let's do that!"
Y/n: (concerned) "But I don't think it's a good idea."
Yun-jin: "Why, Y/n?"
Y/n: "You know I am not good at Basketball. Also I am not sure that I will be able to handle two clubs at a time"
Rose: "Come on, Y/n, it's not that difficult. Every club has different days. I'm sure you can manage that."
Yun-jin: (puppy eyes) "Yes, Rose is right. And who said you are not good at basketball, you just need some practice for which this club is for, let's join together please, please."
Rose: "Please, Y/n. If you are worried about exam scores, then I am sure you'll top this time too. Please join with us."
Y/n: "Rose, it's not like that. I am not worried about exams. Okay, then I will consider it too."
Yun-jin: (excited) "That's like a good girl. Let us know by tomorrow."
Rose: "Tomorrow is the last day to give names. So can you also inform those 2 monkeys?"
Y/n: (Rolling her eyes) "Don't call them monkey. But why they didn't came today for school"
Rose: (teasing) "why? Do you miss them? or should I say missing someone special"
Yun-jin: (Teasing Y/n) "And why are you asking us you are close to them you must knew why they didn't come."
Saying this Rose and Yunjin started laughing.
Y/n: (shy) "Yaah, shut up you both. we are just friends"
Yun-jin: (Teasing Y/n) "Yeah just friends."
Everyone was discussing among themselves and making noise in class.
Teacher: "Okay, everyone, keep quiet. Sooha (girl class president), make a list of students and their interested clubs and hand it over to me before leaving."
Sooha: "Okay, sir."
The day continued with the usual classes, and during the break, Su-jin started to mingle with her new classmates. Y/n introduced Su-jin to her group of friends.
Rose: (grinning) "Welcome to the squad, Su-jin!"
Yun-jin: (nodding) "Yeah, and don't mind Y/n's crushes. They always linger around her like honeybees over a flower."
Y/n: "Yun-jin, shut up. Su-jin, don't misunderstand; they just want my notes, nothing else."
Rose and Yun-jin start laughing.
Su-jin: (laughing) "Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better. But why did you said squad aren't you Trio."
Y/n: "we have 2 more people in our group they are absent today."
Sujin made "Ohh" face while Yujin changed the topic
Yun-jin: "By the way, which club are you joining?"
Su-jin: "I am going for the art club."
Y/n: "Oh, really? I am joining the art club too; we will be together."
Su-jin: "Great."
As the day progressed, Su-jin quickly became a part of the class. During lunch, she sat with Y/n and her friends, sharing stories, and getting to know each other better.
Teacher: (smiling) "I'm glad to see our new student settling in so well. Su-jin, if you ever need anything, feel free to reach out."
Su-jin: "Thank you, Teacher. I'm really happy to be here."
Teacher: "Sooha, is the list ready?"
Sooha: "Yes, sir."
Sooha hands over the list to her teacher and returns to her seat. The class dispersed, and Y/n walked out with her friends, already making plans for the upcoming days.
Rose saw Su-jin talking with Jiyeon.
Jiyeon is an intelligent and charismatic girl who often uses these traits to manipulate situations to her advantage. She is skilled in spreading rumors, making sarcastic comments, and mocking others. Jiyeon hates Y/n because Y/n always comes first, leaving Jiyeon in second place, a position she despises.
Rose: (pointing towards Jiyeon) "See, I told you; something is wrong with Su-jin. She is talking with Jiyeon; I am sure she is also like her."
Y/n: "Come on, Rose, today is Su-jin's first day. She might just talk with her to know her better."
Yun-jin: "But now, even I feel something is off. The way they are laughing, it seems like they know each other from a long time."
Rose: "Exactly my point."
Y/n: "Ohh Hoo, stop it, you both. You're just overthinking. Let's go."
Rose and Yun-jin exchanged glances and sighed. They began walking towards their homes. While Rose and Yun-jin lived close to each other in the same neighborhood, Y/n's home was a bit farther away. After parting ways with Rose and Yun-jin, Y/n headed towards her own home.
