Kelly stood in front of the door to her old house nervously. Taking a deep breath before ringing the door bell. Waiting for her parents to answer she fumbled with a loose thread on her jacket making it longer in the process. The door was finally opened by Mr Jones, he wore his business suit as usual and looked down at Kelly sternly. “Well you had better come in” he sighed moving to the side so she could enter. Mrs Jones sat at the kitchen table looking professional as Kelly took a seat opposite her.
They all sat in silence for twenty minuets just staring at each other,
“So … have you finished with your childish tantrum?” her mother finally spoke, “When are you coming home?” she added,
“This isn't my home any more, I live with Tray now” Kelly explained , “I didn't come here to apologize, I have come to get answers” Kelly said finding her voice,
“This is ridiculous!” Mrs Jones cried her husband placing a hand on her shoulder to soothe her.
“Well then let's hear it. What do you want to know?” Mr Jones asked waiting for Kelly to begin.
“Well firstly I want to know why you decided to adopt me?” she questioned nervously,
“What a foolish question, we adopted you because we wanted a child” Mrs Jones cried,
“Then why did you always act like I was a disappointment and a burden” Kelly snapped,
“Because you are a disappointment” Mrs Jones shouted slamming her hand on the table causing Kelly to jump, “This is foolish, you are coming home and that is final,” Mrs Jones added,
“No I’m not!” Kelly argued,
“Your mother is right Kelly, we have played along with your little games, but it is time to come home now” Mr Jones explained,
“No! This isn't my home and you're no longer my parents!” Kelly screamed standing up, her chair scratching on the floor as it was pushed violently back. “I thought that I could come here and have a grown up conversation with you both. I still want you in my life, but not if your going to continue to treat me like I'm a useless child, I have lived all my life with you pushing and pushing me. From now on just leave me alone! I don't want your approval or your praise! I will never be good enough” Kelly cried before storming out to the house with Mr and Mrs Jones calling after her.
Kelly ran as fast as she could towards the warrior house, tears streaming down her face. She felt so stupid to think that they would understand. They didn't care what she wanted, they didn't even listen to what she had to say! Kelly ran and ran getting all her frustration out, she ran across the road without even glancing up to see if it was safe, she ran past a group of girls from her Spanish class not listening to their concerned voices as they called after her. She ran into the forest passing tree after tree, her hair flowing wildly behind her and mud splattering up her legs. Finally her anger and frustration were replaced with sadness as she slammed against a large tree trunk clinging to it as she cried. Kelly sobbed and sobbed until her throat dried up. Wiping away her tears she released herself from the tree that she had clung to so dearly. She started to walk slowly toward the warrior house straightening her hair and clothes as she went, she didn't want to turn up at the house looking like she did. She was going to walk in with her head held high. She was going to be strong in front of her friends.
Kelly clutched her jacket to herself feeling a cold chill run down her spine. Something was watching her. She spun around quickly peering into the forest, as three black figures emerged slowly from behind the trees. Kelly willed herself to runaway but her feet wouldn't obey her command as the figures walked closer. They were completely covered in a thick, black, shredded fabric, the middle monster walked forward so he was face to face with Kelly, she looked at his face, but all she saw under his hood was black. The figure lifted his arm relieving the tips of his boney hand, black goop surrounded his index finger as it came closer and closer to Kelly.
Still unable to move she was force to use her shield to protect herself, but the dark figure passed though it like it was air. Kelly's eyes widened in shock and the figure touched her shoulder just above her heart causing the black goop to leave a sticky mark. She gasped as pain shot through her body. She knew what these figures were. They were Shulks. The creatures that had killed River, her mother.
Rachel, Zack, Adam, Jenny and Tray were all sat in the living room talking to each other, when they all heard Kelly's voice cry out for help. Zack quickly stood up looking out of the window,
“Was that Kelly?” he asked in fear,
“It sounded like it” Rachel agreed,
“I heard her in my head” Jenny added as Zack ran out of the house and took off into the air flying over the forest to find Kelly,
“Zack!” Rachel called but it was to late.
Zack frantically scouted the forest looking for Kelly, he had heard her in his head and she didn't sound alright. He finally spotted her on the ground surrounded by three hooded figures, her shield was up but they had somehow entered it. “Kelly” he cried as he dove down landing between her and the monsters, “Zack?” she whispered sounding week, “Shulks!” she warned,
Zack turned to face the three Shulks, knowing they were dangerous. Using his element he caused the air to circle him and Kelly making the leaves and small branches from the ground to fly around them creating a small tornado. He quickly lifted Kelly from the floor knowing that the wind wouldn't keep the Shulks back for long. “It's alright Kel, I'll get you out of here” he said shooting into the air, Kelly clinging to his neck tightly, he flew as fast as he could back to the warrior house.
“Were back home now, your safe” Zack cooed landing in front of the house,
“Your like superman” Kelly mumbled before passing out in his arms,
“Kelly!” he cried carrying her into the house, he spotted the black mark on her shoulder knowing that it was poison, “Tray! Tray Quickly” he cried running into the living room, Tray motioned for Zack to lay her on a blanket that he put on the sofa. “Bring the water” he called to Jenny who was in the kitchen filling a bowl. “Alright Rachel you know what to do” he said and she knelt besides Kelly removing her jacket so she could get a good look at the black mark. “Tray I'm not sure I can do this” she said worried,
“Do what? Is she going to be alright? Tray what's happened?” Zack asked frantically.
“Zack, you and Adam go outside and check the perimeter. They could have followed you back” Tray ordered and Adam dragged Zack outside,
“Here's the water” Jenny said placing a bowl on the floor besides them.
“I can't do it!” Rachel cried, “Not without Kelly there to help me” she added tears in her eyes,
“It's alright Rach, I'm here. You can do this” Jenny urged kneeling besides her friend dabbing a wet towel over Kelly's head.
“But... What if..”
“Rachel! You can do this” Jenny said cutting her off.
Rachel nodded her head taking a deep breath and called on her element, She placed her hand over the black mark where Kelly had been poisoned and began to draw it out, just as Tray had told her to.
Zack and Adam walked together around the tree line, checking that it was safe. However, every five seconds Zack would turn to look at the house wondering if Kelly was alright.
“Zack, would you calm down, she will be fine” Adam said,
“You didn't see those things, they walked straight through her shield” Zack explained,
“Tray, Rachel and Jenny have it under control” he comforted.
“How did we all hear her cry for help?” Zack asked after a moment of silence, he hadn't thought about it at the time.
“Tray said that it's part of Kellys 'gift'. She can communicate with us telepathically” Adam explained,
“It's like an extra power or something. We all have one as well as our element, Rachel can heal and you can fly.” he added and Zack nodded in acknowledging,
“So what are yours, Max's and Jenny's extra gifts?” he asked and Adam shrugged,
“He didn't tell us” he said “I think he was really worried about Kelly”
“Well, Kelly is all he has left,” Zack pointed out as he and Adam continued to check the perimeter.

Dun Dun Dun!!! Ok that was dramatic lol
So tell me what you think? Kelly and her parents didn't see eye to eye :( what about the shulks? they can pass through Kelly's shield!! Do you like how Zack saved Kelly? he was like superman lol (superman was born super lol) Will Kelly be alright? can Rachel save her or is it to late?
