The battle between Free and Phoebe was now starting as Wakiya stepped up to the stadium to be referee
Phoebe: Fafnir is a Left rotating bey that absorbs the power from its opponent, if there is a chance he uses that technique, i know what to do.
Free: Flame Pandora.. a Right Rotating Balance Type, also the bey of the Fire Element.. just what kind of bey is it, really?

Bell: Free seems more concentrated than usual..
Bailey: It seems.. eerie.
Valt: It's been some time any of us have seen or heard from Free, there is no telling how much stronger he's become.
Quinn: If that's true then..
Michael: Even with the Ultimate Elemental Power, there's a good chance Free will be stronger..

Free: Ive seen your battles, you're quite the strong blader.
Phoebe: Same goes for you, ive been wanting to battle against you for some time now
Free: I could say the same, you piqued my interest when you used Pandemonium.. im curious to know how strong you are now with that Pandora.
Phoebe: Disappointed?
Free: Hardly, in fact im hoping we can both have an enjoyable battle.
Phoebe: Well if it's a battle you want then it's a battle you'll get.
Wakiya: 1st Battle!!
The 2 bladers took their positions and the battle began
Wakiya: Ready Set!!!
3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!
The beys were off and a bright yellow glow was cast over Vanish Fafnir as it took the center
Free: Huh, it's glowing..
Phoebe: Get em Pandora! Flame Shoot!!
Flame Pandora began to attack Fafnir with a barrage of attacks but Fafnir was holding its ground.
Phoebe: Fafnir has the ability to drain the opponents power.. i have to end this before it becomes a battle of stamina!
Free: That won't work..
Phoebe: Go! Lightning!!
Bolts of lightning surged off of Flame Pandora and it charged in for the strike and landed a fierce strike, knocking Fafnir back
Phoebe: How's that?!
Free smiled, his black pupils taking on a bright yellow glow
Free: Not too bad, but i've seen better.. Go, Fafnir!
Fafnir managed to recover using the plate on the Kick Driver and it was now on the offensive
Phoebe: If i can make Fafnir waste all its stamina... i can use that moment to send it flying.
Free: It won't work.
Phoebe looked at Free in horror, it was almost as if he was reading her mind
Phoebe: H-How did he..!?

Bell: She's hesitating out there! What is she doing!?
Michael: I'm not sure.. ive never seen her this worked up before..
Valt: Free is reading her every move.
Quinn: What?!
Bailey: How can that be!?
Bell: Free is anticipating Phoebe to use Elemental Break, but a move like that isnt going to work, Free will just absorb her power!

Free: I see how you fight, using the Elementals to your advantage is a well played move, but it wont work on Fafnir.
Phoebe: I guess i'll just have to prove you wrong then! Go Pandora!!
Pandora disengages and it heads to the Drift Zone and it heads right for Fafnir
Phoebe: Show them your power! Pandora!!
Phoebe: Send them flying! Elemental Break!!
Pandora clashes into Fafnir with full force but was knocked back instead
Phoebe: W-What the-?!

Bell: Huh!? What happened just now, Elemental Break hit dead on!
Valt: Fafnir just absorbed Pandora's power..
Michael: Not only that, Fafnir's Elemental Power is starting to rise rapidly

Phoebe'e eyes widened in horror, everything had went to plan so how?
Phoebe: F-Fafnir shouldve been toast from that hit.. so how?
Free: I intentionally did not launch with strong force to where Fafnir could survive the whole battle on a limited stamina reserve..
Phoebe: W-What!?
Free: Absorbing your power was my plan all along.
Pandora kept attacking Fafnir with relentless strikes but it was absorbing each and every one of Pandora's strikes
Free: Let's go! Fafnir!!
Fafnir instantly changed colors and its Elemental Power began to shine through
Phoebe: Give it everything you got Pandora! Elemental Break, Do it!!
Pandora slams into Fafnir with all its might and it was pushing it downward

Michael's eyes widened with concern, this technique seemed familiar
Michael: T-That's..
Pandora was using the same technique that Pandemonium used to defeat its opponent
Michael: Phoebe.. it can't be...

The plate on Fafnir's kick driver was shifting, adjusting to angle shift
Free: It's time to unleash it! Kick Break!!
Fafnir escaped Pandora's wrath and zoomed around the stadium at top speed
Phoebe: W-What the-?!
Free: It's over now! Go Fafnir!!
Fafnir skids on the Drift Zone and it was gearing up for another attack
Free: Vanish Claw!!
At that moment, bolts of electricity surrounded Fafnir as it charged in and lands a devastating strike and bursts through Pandora in an instant
Phoebe: It can't be.. that's impossible..!
Wakiya: Vanish Fafnir with a Burst Finish! Free De La Hoya is the winner!

Michael was in shock at what he had witnessed, Fafnir was glowing with Lightning Elemental
Michael: That Elemental Power.. it can't be..
Valt: That was amazing, Free!
Bell: Free has gotten a lot stronger than the last time i faced him
Quinn: That was sick..!

Phoebe picked up the pieces of her bey and she was shaken from her loss
Phoebe: Pandora's Ultimate Elemental was.. shut down!
Free: Pandora is a strong bey but in order to bring out its true Elemental Power, you must truely be on the same level as your bey.
Phoebe: What does that mean?! What do you mean the same level as my bey.
Free: The way i see it, you have advanced far beyond where Flame Pandora did. until you both grow together, you can never defeat me.
Free walked back over to the side and it was time for the next battle, Bell vs Lui
Bell: So we finally battle after all this time, ive been looking forward to this
Lui held up his Guilty Longinus and his hair began to flare up like fire
Lui: It is i who have been looking forward to this, i will exact my revenge by crushing you here and now!
Bell: Heh! Id like to see you try, but it will all end the same way!
Bell held up his Divine Belial with a smug grin on his face
Bell: You will face the wrath of the Demon King once more!

Phoebe: Longinus is an Attack Type just like Belial, how is Bell going to fight against a bey like that..?
Quinn: Bell should win this right?
Bailey: There's no telling.. Lui looks rather scary.
Valt: Both are really strong bladers, this could go either way.
Michael looked down at his data and looked back up with a blank stare
Michael: Lui Shirasagijo.. Bell has defeated him before.. let's see how strong he truly is.

Wakiya: 1st Battle!!!
Lui: Here i come, Demon King!
Bell: Heh! You better get ready, The Demon King is coming after you!
Wakiya: Ready Set!!!
3 2 1 GOO SHOOT!!!
The beys were off and Belial and Longinus charged around the stadium at full speed
Bell: Let's go Belial! Show them what you can do!
Lui: Longinus! Bare your fangs!!
Belial and Longinus clashed in the center with full force and were both knocked back at once
Longinus recovered and took a ride along the Drift Zone and was coming around for another strike
Lui: Do it Longinus! Guilty Upper!!
Bell: Belial! Divine Shield!!
Belial manages to shield itself from Longinus's attack but it wasnt letting up
Lui: Send them flying now!!
Bell: Hold your ground Belial!!
Belial's H and A Gears were protecting it against Longinus' devastating attack but it wouldnt be able to hold on forever

Michael: He's actually holding out against Lui's attack!
Phoebe: He changed modes!
Michael: What?!
Valt: He switched the A-Gear into Defense Mode before the battle started, that way he can defend against Longinus' attacks!

Belial and Longinus clashed with all their might once again as powerful winds were thrown from the stadium
Lui: You think you're safe from me just because you switched to Defense Mode?! How pathetic!!
Bell: We'ee just getting warmed up! Brace yourself because we're coming after you!
Belial sent Longinus flying back and it was speeding around the stadium at full speed
Bell: Let's go! Belial!!
Belial instantly changed colors as Longinus landed back in the stadium
Lui: How interesting.. so you can change colors too huh? In that case, i'll show you my true power!
Longinus dodges Belial's next attack and it was heading to the Upper Deck at full speed
Bell: That speed.. it's faster than last time i faced it..
Lui: Unleash your unrivaled power! Longinus!!
Longinus changed colors in an instant and a watery aurora formed behind it, it was Water Elemental
Bell: Divine Bomber!!
Lui: Now tear them apart! Guilty Spiral!!
Belial and Longinus clashed with all their might and the stadium erupts with a powerful burst of energy, Longinus bursts through Belial as a swirling vortex of chaos was swirling up from it.
Bell: T-That's.. impossible..!!
Wakiya: Guilty Longinus with a Burst Finish! Lui is the winner!!

Phoebe: That power is.. unreal..!!
Quinn: That's awesome! Lui is so strong!!
Valt smiled, he was truly impressed at how much stronger Lui had become.
Valt: Nicely done, Lui.
Michael looked down at his data and his eyes were wide with shock, Lui and Free's Elemental Power had reached a whole new level of power!
Michael: That's.. incredible..! That power is completely off the charts..!
Michael held his bey in his hand and squeezed it tightly
Michael: If only.. i could do that again too...

Bell reached down and picked up the pieces of his bey, he was still in complete shock
Bell: T-There's no way.. Belial actually lost that.. i should've won!
Lui: Surely that's not all you got isnt it? You really beat me as weak as you are? I dont believe it.
Bell: W-Why you little-!
Lui: Save it! Your last victory against me was a fluke, i cant believe i lost to someone like you!
Lui turned and began to walk away, Free did the same and they were soon out of sight.
---Later---
Michael remained in the main arena and he stood at the stadium as he watched his bey spin in the stadium, there was no glow on it at all.
Michael: Salamander lost all its Elemental Power in its battle against Pandemonium.. it's power i can't get back..
Michael heard footsteps approaching and it was Lyra
Michael: You again.. what do you want?!
Lyra stepped up to the stadium with a sly smile and watched his bey
Lyra: Salamander has lost its Elemental Power has it not?
Michael: What's it to you?
Lyra: Nothing much but seeing you makes me rather sad to be honest with you.
Michael: Sad?
Lyra: Correct, it makes me sad to see that you still hang out with those imbeciles even though you're destined for so much more.
Michael: Destined, you say?
Lyra: I see right through you Michael, this isnt the dream you had in mind. Yes, i know about you and Phoebe's dream.
Michael: What are you getting at?
Lyra: Dont you see? Im trying to help you.
Michael: Well i dont need your help, i can make my own decisions now, thank you.
Lyra: Then care to explain why you cant bring out Salamander's Elemental Power anymore? Care to explain that?
Michael: i dont have to answer to you.
Lyra: I can tell you the reason why if you want, but you may not like the reason.
Lyra reached into the stadium and snatched up Salamander into his hand
Michael: What are you..?
Lyra: Your sister is the reason why you cannot bring out your true Elemental Power and she is the reason i was denied of my glorious dream.
Michael just stood there shaken, he couldnt bring himself to admit it but he was right
Michael: What must i do? You seem to know.. what can i do to bring my true power out?
Lyra smirked and looked at Michael's bey in his hands and squeezed it slightly
Lyra: We can start by getting rid of the garbage you once beared.
Lyra dropped Salamander against the ground and stomped on it, shattering it into pieces
Michael: So it's done.. then.
Lyra: Yes, i will leave you to whatever bey you wish to create.
Lyra turned and walked away and Michael picked up the broken pieces of Salamander
Michael: He's right.. i have to mind my own purpose in the blading world, im not fulfilling anything by staying with Bell and the others.
Michael heard footsteps entering the arena again and it was Phoebe
Phoebe: There you are.. Wakiya is waiting on your Elemental findings from Lui and Free earlier.
Michael: Are they still here?
Phoebe: No, Lui and Free both left an hour ago.
Michael: Well that's too bad.
Michael turned and began to walk away and Phoebe stared after him in concern, something was off
Michael: Salamander has now become useless to me now.. i'll create something better, something perfect for me..
