I don't know what we were doing but I like it nonetheless.
The kiss had intensified, I was hovering over her, in between her spread legs, while she was lying on the couch.
My lips moved from hers, as I trailed kisses down her neck, she closed her eyes and wrapped her hands around my neck.
My hand gently squeezed her waist as I slipped it into her top, feeling her bare skin with my fingers, I started moving my hands up and just close to her breast area, she snapped and stopped responding to me.
She put her hands on my chest and pushed me gently "I can't....I can't do this, we....we can't" she whispered out getting from under me and stood up
I was a bit confused, I thought she wanted this minutes ago, what happened.
I stood up and moved closer to her
"Why"? I rasp out and she looks at me shaking her head.
"We shouldn't be doing this, I can't, not with you, Dimitri you did things to me that...." She paused swallowing hard "that I can't forget, they haunt my dreams at night and whenever I look at you, I get flashbacks" she whispers keeping her voice steady
I breathe out "I'm sorry, and I know you already said sorry is not going to change anything but I'm sorry, for every fucked up thing I ever did to you, I'm sorry" I mutter getting close to her, I really needed to do this, and no better time than now.
"I regret it, all of it and if there's a way I can take it back, Cora I will. I never should have come home that day, if I knew I was going to do something like that to you, I wouldn't have come back"
She's just looking at me, I can see sadness in her eyes but she's trying to keep her emotions in check
"I was angry, sad, and drunk. But I remembered everything, I remember everything I did to you, because it haunts me in my dreams too, every single night since that day" I stop in front of her as I take her hand in mine, she doesn't protest or try to stop me
"I can't take it back Cora, but I can promise you that I'll never hurt you, ever again" I finish looking straight into her eyes
She breathes out "I want to hate you for it, I should hate you for it, in fact maybe I did hate you for it at some point, but I can't pretend not to notice the connection or attraction, whatever this is between us" she rushes out "I can't pretend I don't feel things when you kiss me, or when you touch me, or look at me like that" she says
"Like what"? I mutter and she chuckles, a single tear leaving her eyes.
"Like nothing else matters when you're with me" she whispers and I use my other hand to cup her face
"Because nothing else matters принцесса" I mutter before wiping the tear from her eyes and letting my lips come down on hers again
I let go off her lips before looking at her
"What are we doing"? She whispers
"I don't know, but I don't want to stop" I mutter tracing lines on her lips with my thumb
She laughs before resting her head on my chest as I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer to me, resting my chin on her head
I really do not know what we're doing but I have no intentions of putting a stop to it.
She calms me down, whenever I'm around her, I feel things that I can't explain

"Do you wanna feel it"? She asks looking between me and her stomach
"Are you sure that's a good idea"? I ask looking at her stomach, we decided to make a plan to get Ivan out, we would do it tomorrow but I haven't told her yet.
She just nods her head giving me a smile, she quickly raises up her top and stop just below her breast, her stomach looks big, not too big but it's pretty obvious she's pregnant.
She takes my hand in hers before gently placing it on her stomach, it's warm
I feel her tense a bit before relaxing.
I felt it, a slight movement, around the part my hand is
I look to her and she's smiling, she felt it too
"It's... moving" I whisper and she nods
"Yes it is" she says making me look at her
"How does it feel"? I ask taking my hand off and letting her adjust her top
She shrugs "it feels weird at the same time good, it's like I have a connection with it, like a strong bond" she explains.
I breathe out "Princess" I mutter out scooting close to her and she looks up at me
"Huh"? She asks
"принцесса, it means princess" I say and she smiles before nodding her head slowly
"Why do you call me that"? She asks and I shrug my shoulder
"Because that's what you are, you're a princess" I say tucking a strand of her hair away
"And let me guess you're supposed to be my prince charming"? She asks with a pointed look and I shake my head
"No, no, I'm your beast in the castle" I mutter and I see her brows scrunched up before she realizes what I meant and she chuckles lightly.
"So you do watch movies" she says and I shrug
"Sometimes" I mutter looking in front of me
"Cora" I call and she hums
"We're going to break him out tomorrow" I tell her and she turns to face me
"Are you sure"? She asks and I nod
"What about Enzo and his men"? She ask
"Leave that to me" I tell her and she looks at me skeptically
"Please don't tell me you're going to kill them" she whispers looking at me with horror
"I have to do what it takes to get Ivan out and if Enzo stands in my way, I will kill him" I say
"Can't you try something that doesn't involve anyone dying"? She asks moving away from me and I just shake my head, how can someone be so nice.
"If I don't kill him, he will kill me, so no there is no other way" I say looking away from her
"There's always another way, you don't have to kill people to get what you want" she tells me
"Yes I do, it's who I am, you can't be a part of this world without getting your hands dirty" I say facing her and she just scoffs
"It doesn't have to be, you don't have to be a killer" she whispers out
"It's who I am Cora, I can't change that about me"
"You don't have to be and I'm gonna prove it to you, we're gonna save Ivan tomorrow and you don't have to kill anyone" she says looking away from me
"I have a plan"

"Are you ready"? She walks towards me from the mansion's direction
"I hate this plan" I mutter putting my gun behind me
"Well at least it's better than your plan, your plan could get you killed" she sasses
"Come on let's go" she mutters before we both start walking towards the mansion.
There aren't much guards, just the two on the front gate, Enzo took most of them out to meet someone.
That someone being Tatum, yes I called in a favor.
Apparently he's doing business with Enzo downtown, which in turn means the house will be empty with only a few guards
"Are you sure this thing won't kill them"? She asks examining the taser in her hand
"No, it's only going to put them out for a while, so we need to hurry" I mutter as we get closer to the gate.
I just hope her plan works and no one has to die.
Because I'm not taking any chances, Ivan is getting out of here today.
