Lexi and Carlos, incognito in their playful disguises, wandered through the charming streets of Monaco, exploring various shops as they prepared for Charles' upcoming birthday. As they strolled along, they couldn't help but giggle at each other's ridiculous getup. Carlos adjusted his fake moustache, which was starting to itch, and Lexi checked to make sure her blonde wig was still in place.

"Are you sure we're doing this right, Ally? I feel like a kid again," Carlos chuckled as he peeked over the top of his oversized sunglasses.

Lexi, with her designer glasses perched on her nose and her heels clacking on the pavement, grinned. "I love it, Carlos! Nobody would ever recognize us like this. Fuck it, I don't even recognise you."

They popped into a small boutique and immediately got to work, scouring the shelves for unique gifts. Carlos picked up a sleek, leather-bound notebook, perfect for Charles to jot down his racing thoughts. Lexi found an antique watch that she thought would look dashing on Charles' wrist.

"Here," Lexi said, handing the watch to Carlos. "I think this would look good on you."

Carlos examined the watch and nodded in approval. "It's perfect, but i thought we were shopping for Charles?"

Lexi groaned. It was harder than she thought to find him the perfect gift. After making their purchases, they continued their adventure through the charming streets, now searching for decorations for the surprise party they were planning. They ducked into a party supply store, and the playful duo couldn't resist trying on silly party hats and snapping funny pictures.

Carlos grabbed a colorful, oversized party horn and honked it playfully, making Lexi laugh. "I can't believe we're having this much fun shopping for decorations."

"I know, right?" Lexi agreed, snapping a picture of Carlos with the party horn. "We should go out in disguise more often."

As they exited the store with bags full of decorations and party favors, Lexi linked her arm through Carlos's. "You're an amazing friend, Carlos. Charles is lucky to have us."

Carlos smiled warmly at Lexi, appreciating the friendship they'd built over the years. "We're both lucky to have each other. Now, let's get back to the surprise party planning. I think this will be the best birthday Charles has ever had."

After another three unsuccessful stops at boutiques, Carlos was getting visibly aggravated. "Ally, let's grab some lunch before my arms fall off." He begged, raising the heavy bags that were in his arms. Alexandra grinned and nodded. "Shall we go to the new place down by the marina?"

The friends happily made their way down to the marina and sat in the restaurant, with Carlos visibly relaxing as he finally put the heavy bags down. "Remember, we're in disguise," Lexi scolded Carlos, who nodded, partly in excitement, and partly in nervousness.

The waiter approached the table, and Lexi, with her theatrical side showing, adopted an exaggerated French accent. "Ah, bonjour, monsieur," she purred, fluttering her lashes and pretending to be deeply smitten by the menu. "May we please have a bottle of the Chateauneuf du Pape?"

Carlos couldn't help but laugh as he watched her put on a show. "She'll have the plat du jour," he said, suppressing a chuckle and sticking to her act, "and I'll take the seafood pasta."

The waiter, clearly amused by Lexi's performance, nodded and jotted down their orders. "Of course, mademoiselle and monsieur," he replied in kind, playing along with the act. "I'll have your dishes ready shortly."

As the waiter walked away, Carlos shook his head in amusement. "You really are something else, Ally. I've never seen anyone have so much fun with a simple lunch order."

Lexi grinned, returning to her usual tone. "Life's too short to be serious all the time, Carlos. Sometimes, you just have to seize the moment and enjoy a little mischief."

Carlos smiled back at her, appreciating her zest for life. "You've got a point there."

Their conversation meandered to various topics as they savored their lunch and the picturesque view of the marina. Lexi shared anecdotes from her travels and filming experiences, and Carlos regaled her with tales from the world of Formula 1.

With the stress of shopping temporarily forgotten, they relished the meal, laughter, and the friendly camaraderie they had always shared. As they finished their desserts, Lexi's thoughts drifted back to Charles and his upcoming birthday.

"I still can't figure out what to get Charles," Lexi admitted with a sigh, her playful mood momentarily replaced by the weight of her predicament.

Carlos leaned back in his chair, thoughtful. "Well, remember when you first met him. What was it that made you think, 'I want to get to know this guy better'? Find something that connects to that moment."

Lexi considered his advice, her eyes brightening as she recalled their early encounters. "You know, I think I have an idea."

Carlos nodded encouragingly. "What is it?"

Lexi leaned in, lowering her voice conspiratorially. "I'll need your help to pull it off, though."

Carlos raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "I'm all ears."

As Lexi and Carlos continued their lunch at the Monaco restaurant, the casual atmosphere suddenly took a twist as Carlos spotted Pierre Gasly at a nearby table. Reflexively, Carlos kicked Lexi under the table, causing her to let out an exaggerated yelp.

"Ow, what?" she exclaimed in mock pain, turning to him with a confused expression.

Carlos glanced over at Pierre, who was engrossed in conversation with his manager, and then kicked Lexi again, more urgently this time. "Don't look, but Pierre is behind you," he hissed, trying to maintain a low profile.

Lexi immediately span around to look, and Carlos kicked her again. "Carlos! What the fuck?" She hissed.

"I told you not to look!" He panicked.

Lexi couldn't help but laugh at Carlos's antics. "We're in disguise, you idiot," she whispered back, her voice filled with humor.

"Yeah, but there's paparazzi here," Carlos responded, nodding discreetly toward the back corner of the restaurant.

Understanding the situation, Lexi fell into silence, her playful demeanor momentarily subdued. She had no intention of drawing attention, especially with the paparazzi lurking around. It was one of the many unwelcome aspects of life in the public eye.

Carlos, meanwhile, couldn't help but take another glance at Pierre. Their friend had sensed someone staring at him and turned to see Carlos. Pierre furrowed his brow as he thought he recognized the person behind the disguise, but something about Carlos seemed off, and he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

As Pierre did a double take, his confusion deepened. He was certain he had spotted someone familiar, yet the disguise was effective in obscuring Carlos's identity. Lexi had been right—they could blend in seamlessly.

With an air of uncertainty, Pierre finally turned away and continued his conversation with his manager, though his curiosity about the familiar face lingered.

Carlos froze momentarily in shock, exchanging glances with Lexi. Their elaborate disguises seemed to have worked, at least for the time being. As they returned to their conversation, they shared a silent, amused acknowledgment of their undercover escapade and the little thrill of escaping unnoticed.

As the two friends continued to enjoy their undercover escapade, they indulged in a bottle of wine, causing their laughter and playfulness to increase with every sip. Lexi, now feeling a bit tipsy, decided to have some playful fun with Pierre, who was sitting just a few tables away.

Lexi grabbed her phone, trying to stifle a giggle, and sent a text to Pierre: "Is your steak good?" She pressed send and couldn't help but watch Pierre's reflection in the window as he glanced around the restaurant in confusion. His eyes darted from side to side as he looked for the source of the message.

Shortly after, Pierre responded with, "How do you know I'm eating steak?" Lexi, grinning mischievously, replied, "Twitter." She watched as Pierre's brow furrowed, and he began to scroll through his Twitter feed on his phone, attempting to understand how Lexi knew about his meal.

Lexi couldn't hold back her laughter, and her phone buzzed again. "Your wine looks nice," she sent to Pierre, who once more glanced around the restaurant, clearly puzzled by the mysterious messages.

As the friends continued to exchange texts and shared quiet giggles, the restaurant's waiter came over to offer them another bottle of wine. Lexi graciously accepted, her playful mood bolstered by the alcohol.

Suddenly, Pierre's response popped up on her screen. "You two need to lay off the Châteauneuf-du-Pape," he texted, realizing that his friends were enjoying their meal in the same restaurant and having a bit too much fun. Lexi and Carlos couldn't help but burst into laughter, relishing the joy of their secret antics and the playful exchange with Pierre.

As the two friends continued to enjoy their time together, they watched Pierre's manager stand up and discreetly shoo away the paparazzi who had been lingering nearby. With the coast clear, Pierre decided to join Carlos and Lexi at their table.

Pierre's initial reaction upon seeing their disguises was laughter. "You look awful," he teased, eyeing their peculiar ensembles. Lexi responded in character, flipping her blonde wig and adopting a theatrical accent. "My my, you can't say that to a lady like me," she slurred playfully, and the three of them shared a laugh.

Pierre inquired about their activities, and Carlos pointed to the shopping bags on the floor. "Shopping for Charles," he explained. "Well, trying to."

Pierre couldn't believe they were shopping for Charles without him. "I'm his best friend," he protested.

Carlos couldn't help but giggle. "Debatable," he retorted, taking a sip of wine. Lexi shot Pierre a mischievous look, keeping up their playful banter.

Pierre, however, had a piece of advice for them. "You know he can't drink red wine," he pointed at Carlos, and glanced at Alexandra in disapproval, biting back a smirk as she shrugged.

Lexi and Carlos were undeterred. "Can I join you?" Pierre asked.

Lexi had a condition for his participation. "Only if you wear a disguise," she declared, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "We've avoided the paps all day."

Pierre hesitated and then firmly stated, "I haven't got a disguise."

"I do," Carlos said with an evil grin. Lexi laughed knowingly, and Carlos pulled out a bald cap and sunglasses from one of the shopping bags. Pierre looked horrified.

"Not happening," he declared coolly.

Lexi took another sip of her wine and taunted, "Then you're not coming." She grinned mysteriously. "We're going to Richard Mille. Your favorite place," she sang teasingly.

Pierre let out a resigned groan. "Fine."

Before Pierre could object further, Lexi pounced on him, quickly stretching the bald cap over his head.

"This is going to look so obvious," Pierre sighed.

Carlos grinned and offered some reassurance. "These sunglasses will cover most of it. Plus..." He reached into his bag and pulled out an 'I love NYC' jumper.

Pierre scrunched his nose in mild disgust. "Nobody likes tourists."

Carlos teased, "You'll blend right in."
