Inside their new Monaco home, Charles and Lexi were busy with their own preparations. Lexi was expertly cutting vegetables in the well-lit kitchen, a film crew from Netflix documenting her every move. She spoke animatedly to Charles, who was scribbling down notes, his brow furrowed in concentration.

The Netflix producer inquired about their plans, and Lexi, her eyes focused on the task at hand, began to explain. "The Heroux Foundation is hosting a charity gala at the National History Museum in London. We've managed to get lots of famous faces on board who will be attending."

While Lexi continued to chop some carrots, Charles chimed in, "The celebrities will be auctioning items for attendees to bid on, and all the proceeds will go to the foundation."

The Netflix producers were clearly impressed, and Lexi blushed, a hint of embarrassment in her voice. Charles, on the other hand, beamed with pride. "It's been quite a journey," he noted. "We've had a few sleepless nights trying to organize everything, but thanks to our connections, we've managed to pull it together."

Charles, always practical, then extended an invitation to the Netflix crew. "You should film the event. It would be good for the documentary."

Lexi nodded in agreement, appreciating his support. The crew seized the opportunity to inquire about her feelings regarding the gala. They asked if she was nervous.

Lexi couldn't help but laugh as she tossed a carrot slice playfully into the air. "I'm terrified that nobody will turn up," she confessed.

The crew chuckled, but Charles intervened with a reassuring tone. "Don't pay her any mind. Most of the attendees have already RSVP'd. She's just overthinking and stressing herself out, like she always does."

Lexi protested by throwing another carrot at him, which he deftly caught, a grin on his face. "You think too low of yourself, Amor," he added.

She couldn't help but laugh at the exchange. As the Netflix crew captured the candid moments in the kitchen, it was clear that Charles and Lexi's relationship was filled with love, support, and a good dose of playful banter.

As Lexi continued to prepare lunch, the Netflix crew spoke candidly with her about her life, experiences, and plans for the future. Charles, still scribbling little notes in his notebook, listened attentively as the conversation unfolded.

The crew eventually inquired about what she was cooking, and Lexi chuckled as she stirred a pot of pasta sauce. "I'm making a pasta dish for everyone. Charles is an awful cook."

The crew laughed, and Charles raised an eyebrow in mock protest. The banter between the couple continued as they playfully argued over who was the better cook. "I can cook,"

"Amor, you most definitely cannot." Lexi teased. "My mother still cooks better than you, and she's been dead for six years."

Finally, they both relented when Charles admitted, "The last time I cooked pasta, it crunched when I chewed it."

The camera crew burst into laughter, and as they wrapped up filming and prepared to share the meal with Lexi and Charles, they couldn't help but notice how much more relaxed the couple seemed when the cameras were turned off.

Liam, one of the producers, mentioned this observation, and Charles took a moment to explain. "It's been a tough couple of years for both of us. We haven't had many positive experiences with cameras recently."

Lexi nodded in agreement, sharing a knowing glance with Charles. The crew began to realize just how difficult it must be for the couple to open up their lives for the documentary.

Jess, another producer, couldn't help but ask why they would agree to have their lives filmed if they disliked cameras so much. Lexi simply shrugged and responded, "I want people to see the real me. I want to use my platform for good, and this documentary is an opportunity to share my story. But more importantly, I want to elevate other women who've been through similar experiences. I want to showcase the Heroux Foundation and how vital it is for women to have access to a charity like it."

Her determination and passion for her charity work were evident, and it was clear that she saw the documentary as a way to make a meaningful impact. The crew listened, appreciating the authenticity and heart that Lexi and Charles were bringing to the project.

The tranquil melody Charles was skillfully playing on the grand piano filled the room, casting a soothing spell on the surroundings. The soft notes seemed to cocoon Lexi in a sense of calm and safety, making her eyelids grow heavy. It had been a long and exhausting day, thanks to the Netflix crew, and the combination of her exhaustion and Charles's music was pulling her into the embrace of sleep.

As Lexi's head began to nod forward, her body relaxed further into the comfortable couch, the peaceful notes playing in the background.

Charles glanced up from the piano, the serene look on Lexi's face bringing a warm smile to his lips. Watching her in this tranquil state was a rare pleasure, one that he cherished. For a few minutes, he continued playing the piano, letting the music linger in the air like a lullaby, until, alas, their solitude was abruptly disrupted by the jarring ringtone of a mobile phone.

Lexi stirred, her drowsy eyes blinking open as she hurriedly reached for her ringing phone. She answered the call, her voice filled with sleepiness.

"Hello?"

A familiar voice on the other end greeted her. It was Checo. They exchanged greetings and some small talk, and Lexi could sense that there was something he wanted to discuss.

"Lexi, how have you been?" Checo inquired, genuine concern in his tone.

She responded warmly, "I'm good, thanks. And you, Checo? How's your recovery going?"

He chuckled, "I'm getting better every day. But there's something I need to talk to you about, Lexi."

Lexi sounded concerned as she asked, "What's going on, Checo? Is it about the Red Bull seat for next year?"

Checo's voice held a hint of amusement as he confirmed, "You got it, Lexi."

Her interest piqued, Lexi asked, "Are you in Monaco? Can we meet?"

Checo replied, "I'm not in Monaco right now, but I'll be at the Red Bull headquarters in two days. Can you make it?"

Lexi's response was swift and enthusiastic. "Absolutely, Checo. I'll be there."

He laughed warmly and reassured her, "Don't get too excited just yet. But you might be in for some good news."

Lexi, unable to contain her joy, chuckled in response, "I'll try my best not to."

With that, they exchanged a few more words and wished each other well. Lexi ended the call, her face beaming with a huge grin. After ending her call with Checo, Lexi felt a surge of excitement. Her heart raced as she walked over to Charles, the anticipation of what might lie ahead filled her with joy. She settled herself beside him on the piano bench, their closeness evident in their loving body language. The couple was in their own world, basking in the warmth of their connection.

With a sweet smile, Lexi leaned in, and their lips met in a tender, lingering kiss. As their mouths moved together, it was as though time stood still, and the world outside melted away. There was a magnetic pull between them, an undeniable spark that seemed to intensify with each passing moment.

Their fingers intertwined, their bodies pressing close as they cuddled in front of the piano. Charles's arm wrapped protectively around Lexi, pulling her in even closer, as if shielding her from the world's troubles.

Feeling safe and cherished in his arms, Lexi nestled her head against his shoulder. She ran her fingers softly through the strands of his hair, her touch filled with affection. The subtle, intimate gestures between them spoke volumes, affirming their love and connection.

With a whispered request, Lexi looked into Charles's eyes and asked, "Play your new song for me, Amor,"

Charles's response was a warm smile, one filled with both love and talent. As his fingers gracefully moved across the piano keys, he began to play. The melody, at first, held a touch of melancholy, a reflection of the challenges they had faced together.

But then, as the song progressed, it transformed into a hopeful and joyful tune, much like the journey they had embarked upon together. It was a symphony of freedom, of love's unyielding power to heal and elevate the human spirit.

As the final notes lingered in the air, Lexi couldn't help but be moved by the beauty of it all. She leaned in to place a tender kiss on Charles's temple. "That was a beautiful," she whispered.

He turned to her, his eyes dancing with a twinkle of affection. "It's about us," he confessed, his voice filled with the deepest emotions.

Lexi's heart swelled with love as she gazed at him. She knew they had something truly special, a love that had the power to create beautiful melodies out of life's ups and downs.

With the last lingering notes of the piano's melody still echoing in the room, Lexi and Charles remained wrapped up in their own world of love and affection. The warm, gentle embrace they shared spoke of a connection that ran deeper than words could ever express.

Lexi couldn't help but feel an overwhelming rush of love for Charles, her partner in life and in love. Her heart swelled with the knowledge that she was truly cherished by this remarkable man. She placed a soft, adoring kiss on his lips, the physical manifestation of all the love and tenderness she felt.

Their hands continued to entwine as they gazed into each other's eyes. The warmth and intimacy in that moment was all the more meaningful because of the hectic world they often found themselves in, with the demands of their careers, the whirlwind of events, and the constant presence of cameras.

It was these stolen moments, like the one they were sharing now, that Lexi cherished the most. They were a reminder that no matter how chaotic life could become, the love and connection between her and Charles remained unwavering.

Charles gently stroked her cheek, his touch filled with a tenderness that melted her heart. In those eyes of his, she found a reflection of the deep affection that bound them together, a love that was undeniable and unbreakable.

As they settled into each other's arms, contentment washed over them. They didn't need words to communicate; the language of their love was silent, yet profound. In the stillness of the moment, they knew that they had found something special, something worth cherishing and protecting.

Time seemed to slow, and they cherished every second of it. Each glance, each caress, and each kiss spoke of their love, a love that was stronger than any adversity life could throw their way.

For Lexi and Charles, these moments were a sanctuary, a reminder of the love they had built together. They had come a long way from the tumultuous trials of their past, and as they held each other close, they were ready to embrace whatever the future held for them.

With a cheeky grin, Charles looked to Lexi. "Nous n'avons pas encore baptisé le piano,"

Lexi shot him a smirk before pulling her shirt off and leaning in to kiss him passionately.

"Well Leclerc, here are plenty of rooms in this house for us to christen...we better get to work."

Two days later, Alexandra found herself at Red Bull Racing's headquarters in England, with Max Verstappen at her side. The two strolled through the corridors, engaged in a lively conversation about the upcoming meeting with the Red Bull board and Checo. Lexi's enthusiasm was palpable, her eyes alight with anticipation.

Max couldn't help but feel happy for her, but there was also an undercurrent of reserve. He knew that the conversation they were about to have could hold significant consequences. It was a conversation filled with uncertainties, and those uncertainties weighed on his mind.

As they made their way through the familiar offices, Lexi greeted engineers and team members she had come to know well over the past months. Her presence was met with warm smiles and a sense of camaraderie. She had successfully integrated herself into the Red Bull Racing family.

As they approached a corner where Christian Horner, Dietrich Mateschitz, and Helmut Marko were engaged in a discussion, Lexi and Max joined the group. Christian turned to greet them with a welcoming smile.

"Alexandra, Max, good to see you both," Christian said, his tone friendly.

"Morning, Christian," Max replied, offering a nod. Alexandra greeted him warmly.

Dietrich, co-founder of Red Bull and instrumental in the team's success, looked up and acknowledged their presence. "Ah, Alexandra, Max. Join us. We were discussing the upcoming meeting."

Lexi and Max moved closer to the group, eager to learn more about the dynamics of the impending discussion and how it might impact their respective futures.

Christian explained, "As you both know, We've scheduled a meeting with the Red Bull board to discuss Checo's situation. We want to provide him with the option to continue with us or explore other opportunities."

Lexi nodded appreciatively. "Where is Checo?"

"He's on his way." Helmut replied coldly. It was no secret that the old man and Alexandra didn't see eye to eye, and while many within red bull had fallen for the actress' talent and charms, Helmut considered himself to be immune.

Max added, "So, are the rumours true? Has Checo requested early release from his contract?" He glanced to Alexandra, who shifted uncomfortably.

Dietrich nodded thoughtfully. "You'll soon find out."

The conversation continued, with Lexi and Max expressing the importance of supporting their fellow drivers and fostering a culture of growth and development within the team. The Red Bull ethos, anchored in belief in emerging talent, had been a driving force behind the team's success.

As the meeting neared, spirits were high, albeit tinged with anticipation about the forthcoming discussions. Lexi, Max, Christian, Dietrich, and even Helmut Marko knew that the future of Red Bull Racing would be shaped by the decisions made in the upcoming meeting.

Amid the discussions, Lexi maintained her composure, even as they were joined by Helmut Marko. Her dislike for the Red Bull advisor was no secret, but for the sake of her seat and her future with Red Bull, she knew that she had to put on a facade of politeness and respect.

Just as they reached the group outside of the boardroom, a mechanic approached Lexi and Max. He enveloped Lexi in a warm and enthusiastic hug. She recognized him as Anthoine, one of Max's pit crew members, and she reciprocated the embrace with a friendly smile. Anthoine, caught up in the excitement of the impending meeting, conveyed his hopes for a favorable outcome.

"Hey Ally!" He greeted.

"Hey Antoine!" She replied. "How's Sara?" She mentioned his wife. Antoines face lit up in excitement, and Dietrich and Christian shared a knowing glance.

"She's good thanks, she told me to let you know that we're rooting for you." He grinned, before glancing at Max. "Well, and red bull. But specifically, you."

"You're my mechanic." Max pointed out. Antoine grinned and raised his hands in surrender.

"And my wife is the boss, man." He laughed, before turning to Lexi. "Good luck in there! See you guys around," he said his goodbyes as he jogged back over to the other engineers.

Max, observing the friendly exchange, grinned at Lexi. "See, I told you they prefer you over me."

Lexi shook her head, rejecting the notion. "No, they're just being polite."

Max snorted in playful disbelief.

As they waited outside the boardroom, Lexi's eyes caught sight of Checo making his way over to them, relying on crutches to support his injured leg. Without a second thought, she threw herself at him, engulfing him in a tight, exuberant hug.

"How are you? Are you okay? How's your leg? Are you sure you're okay to be walking? Do you need help?" Her rapid-fire questions about his recovery and family tumbled out one after another, but Checo was all smiles and laughter as he assured her that he was doing well.

"Lexi, I'm okay, really. And I'm thrilled to see you here," Checo replied with a grin. He appreciated her genuine concern, and her presence warmed his heart. He couldn't help but wink at her, which brought a smile to her face.

Max observed the interaction between Lexi and Checo, his curiosity growing by the second. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the situation than met the eye, and he was determined to find out.

Christian, Dietrich, and the rest of the group gathered around to greet Checo, their camaraderie evident. One by one, they made their way into the boardroom, and the anticipation in the air was palpable.

Inside the boardroom, the remaining members of the board filed in, taking their seats at the long table. Lexi glanced around, realizing that she was unfamiliar with some of the faces present, which only heightened her unease.

Dietrich, with his characteristic air of authority, rose from his chair and addressed the room with a warm welcome, acknowledging everyone in attendance.

"I'm delighted to see so many familiar faces, as well as some new ones," Dietrich began, his tone genial. "We've convened this meeting to address a specific request made by Sergio Perez. He has asked that this meeting be called to discuss his contract, and he has made an unusual request – that Alexandra Heroux be present."

A hushed silence enveloped the room, and all eyes turned to Lexi as the weight of Dietrich's words settled in. Lexi could feel the gaze of the board members upon her, and a knot of nervousness tightened in her stomach. She hadn't expected this, and the anticipation was almost unbearable.

As the meeting began, Dietrich Mateschitz gestured for Checo to lead the discussion, and he rose to his feet. Lexi, Max, and the board members all sat in anticipation. Checo's face was a mix of determination and genuine gratitude as he addressed the room.

"Thank you all for coming today. I really appreciate it."

Max couldn't help but notice Lexi's excitement. She had a secret, a piece of information that could significantly impact the outcome of this meeting. As Checo spoke, he couldn't resist casting an intrigued glance her way, curious about the source of her confidence.

"I'll get right to the point. I'd like to discuss my current contract with Red Bull Racing."

Whispers and inquisitive looks started circulating throughout the room. The board members were already aware of the rumors circulating, but they seemed surprised that Checo was bringing it up in such a formal setting. Max shot a curious look at Lexi, who responded with a sly smirk.

Checo continued, his gaze wandering around the room as he addressed the board. "I know I'm under contract until 2024," he began, "but I've come to a point where I don't believe Red Bull is the best fit for me anymore." He spoke sincerely, his voice resonating with the weight of his decision. "I'm proud to have been part of this incredible team, but the pressure has taken its toll. I believe it's time to step aside and give my seat to someone who has more passion for Red Bull than I do."

As he mentioned passion, his eyes shifted towards Alexandra, and the room's attention immediately followed his gaze. Dietrich Mateschitz couldn't help but sport a knowing grin as he listened to Checo.

The mood in the room shifted as the board members weighed the financial implications of his departure. The room fell into silence. It was a bold and unexpected move by Checo. They had all heard the rumors, but seeing him make this declaration was quite different.

Dietrich looked solemnly at Checo. "Sergio, let me remind you of the exit clauses and fees in your contract."

The tension in the room was palpable. Max looked at Lexi, his eyebrows raised, and she simply nodded in response.

"Dietrich, before you continue, there's something you should all know. Right Lexi?"

Lexi had been poised to share her information, and now she seized her moment. She stood at her spot along the table, a small sigh escaping her lips as she fought for the courage to continue. "Checo is not currently bound by his contract." Every eye in the room turned toward Lexi. She had their undivided attention, and they were eager for her to clarify her statement.

"There's a clause in Checo's contract that stipulates that if he fails to perform within the top 10 consistently in 12 consecutive races, Red Bull has an exit clause to terminate the contract." The room was left in stunned silence. Max's confusion was evident on his face, and Helmut Marko could be heard grumbling in the background. Dietrich Mateschitz raised an eyebrow, and the board members were caught off guard.

Max turned to Lexi, his expression one of surprise mixed with pride. She had just dropped a bombshell, and it was clear that Checo was grateful for her unexpected support.

Before Marko could say anything, Alexandra interjected. "Checo hasn't raced in the past nineteen races," she stated matter-of-factly. "He hasn't been able to perform, which means he hasn't been consistent." Her words hung in the air, sinking in with the board members, who were shocked yet still puzzled by her revelation. Checo sent her a grateful grin, appreciative that she had acted upon the information conveyed by Sebastian.

After Alexandra dropped the bombshell regarding Checo's contract, the boardroom was abuzz with voices talking over each other. Dietrich couldn't help but shoot a glance at Christian, suppressing a smirk. In this moment, Lexi's determination and fierce demeanor reminded him so much of her mother, Camille.

Dietrich addressed Christian, inquiring if he had been aware of this revelation. Christian shook his head, also caught off guard by the surprising turn of events. Checo stepped in to confirm that Christian had not known. "I told Alexandra about the clause," he admitted. "We both agree that it's in the best interests of Red Bull to release me from the contract. Currently, you're paying my fees while I can't even race, and there's no certainty about when I'll be ready to return." He gestured towards his injured leg.

Helmut Marko, known for his blunt candor, laughed at Checo's proposal. "So we release you, and then what?" he retorted. "We have nobody to replace you, Sergio."

Max Verstappen frowned, puzzled by the sudden turn of events. "So why is Alexandra here?" he inquired, struggling to connect the dots.

Sergio smiled as he revealed his plan. "I'd like to recommend Alexandra as my replacement."

Helmut's immediate reaction was one of dismissal. "Absolutely not," he snapped. He continued, disregarding Lexi's achievements, "She's an actress, first and foremost. Let's not forget that. Of course, she's done well, but she hasn't fought for her wins like most others have. Her friends, her boyfriend—"

Alexandra interrupted, her patience wearing thin. "Excuse me?" she retorted. "I know you're getting old, Helmut, but I didn't realize you were going blind too—"

"Alexandra," Christian warned.

"No," she persisted. "I deserve to be here. I've fought for this team since the moment you offered me the seat. I've pushed myself beyond the limit to win for you, to prove that I'm just as good as Max is. What more did you want, Helmut? My liver?"

Dietrich couldn't help but laugh. "Alexandra, I can assure you, we don't want your organs." He paused for effect. "But we are incredibly impressed by your skills since you stepped in for Sergio. As for his contract..." He looked around the room at the board members, whose expressions ranged from shock to intrigue. "This is something we'll need to discuss privately. Alexandra, Sergio, Max, would you excuse us?"

The trio nodded, and Dietrich continued. "Stay close. We'll send someone to collect you when we've reached a decision."

As Alexandra, Checo, and Max left the boardroom, they couldn't help but exchange knowing glances. The fate of the Red Bull seat and Alexandra's potential future in Formula 1 hung in the balance.

As they walked outside, Alexandra and Checo high-fived each other with a cheeky grin, and Max looked on incredulously.

"You motherfuckers,"
