Eventually, the truck ran out of gas and continued their journey on foot.
It was getting late in the day so they stopped to set up camp.
Daryl set up some chicken wire and hub caps as a man-made alarm.
Amanda smiled as she watched before she walked over to the creek, about a mile away from the group. She exhaled deeply as she slid off her t shirt and slid off her jeans. She reached back to unclip her bra but froze hearing the trees rustle.
Amanda whipped around, reaching for her knife but relaxed when she saw Rick, "You're so loud." Amanda said as she looked at him
"I didn't make any noise." Rick said as he walked over to her.
"I heard something." Amanda said as she looked around
"Squirrel or something." Rick said as he stepped in front of her, "You about to wash up?" He asked as he trailed his finger up her arm
Amanda nodded, "yes, now go." She laughed softly
"I need your help." Rick said as he kissed her neck softly, pressing his bulge against her thigh.
"I cannot help you with that, unfortunately." Amanda laughed, but tilted her head back for Rick to continue kissing her neck
"Only you can help me." Rick said as he reached behind her and unclipped her bra with one swift move. He smirked as he let the bra fall to the ground, leaning down and kissing her breast softly
Amanda moaned softly, "okay, but it has to be quick." Amanda said as she reached down and helped Rick pull off his belt.
Rick led Amanda over to a tree, flipping her over. He pulled his jeans down to his ankles and rubbed her bum gently before he slapped it, "god." He mumbled as he ran his hands down her spine
Amanda used her hands to prop herself up against the tree. She hummed in pleasure as she felt him slide the tip in, "C'mon." Amanda begged softly as she pushed her hips back desperately.
Rick grinned as he placed his hands on her hips for stability as he pushed his pelvis against her backside, "remember when we were at CVS?" He mumbled as he kissed her shoulder

"I came out here to bathe and you coerced me into love making in the woods." Amanda said
Rick laughed, rolling his eyes, "my sincerest apologies."
"I've been waiting for the perfect time to give you this. Now seems as good as any." Amanda said as she held up his watch that she had retrieved from Terminus
"Amanda... thank you." Rick said with soft eyes as he placed the watch on his wrist, "I love this watch." he said quietly, "It was from my dad." he smiled as he looked down at his wrist.
Amanda smiled as she kissed him softly, "go back and get our sleeping bag set up, i'll be there in a few." Amanda smiled. She watched Rick walk off and she went to the creek and cleaned herself off. Amanda felt uncomfortable as she cleaned herself off, as if someone was watching her.
Amanda slid her clothes back on and walked over to Rick, "Babe?" Amanda asked softly
"You alright?" Rick asked as he pat the sleeping bag next to him
"I think someone was watching me." Amanda said, "I-I felt it. I felt something over there." Amanda said as she looked at Rick worriedly
"Carol and I were down a couple miles away and felt the same way." Daryl said quietly
Amanda looked at Rick worriedly
"Just get some sleep, we'll figure it out tomorrow." Rick said as he laid down on the sleeping bag

The next morning, Amanda was walking alongside Carl, sharing a pop tart she had found on a run.
"Tighten up!" Rick shouted, herding the people together, "you guys too." He said looking at Amanda
Amanda rolled her eyes as she handed Rick the rest of her poptart
Rick kissed her temple thankfully and ate it, "I just want y'all safe." He said
Amanda looked up when she heard screaming. Amanda looked at Carl worriedly
"C'mon! We gotta go! We gotta go!" Carl yelled, grabbing Amanda's hand and dragging her along
Amanda grabbed her knife and ran after Carl. She looked up at a man in a suit who was standing on top of a rock. Amanda stabbed some walkers, exhaling as Carl and Rick took the rest, "Come down." Amanda said to the man, "Don't be afraid." She smiled as she extended her hand out for him
The man took Amanda's hand and slid down carefully, "thank you, you're very kind." He said, "My name is Gabriel." He said, holding Amanda's hand
Rick walked over and forcefully took Gabriels hand away from hers, "Do you have any weapons on you?" He asked
"Just the word of The Lord." Gabriel said
"Like that did you any good." Daryl remarked
"I called for help and help came." Gabriel smiled, "D-Do you have any food? All mine just hit the ground." He said
"Yeah." Amanda said, reaching into her bag and handed him some dried fruit, "do you have any weapons on you?" She asked gently, smiling when he shook his head, "do you mind if my husband pats you down?" she asked kindly
Gabriel nodded, "no, i don't mind." he said
Rick forcefully walked over and pushed Gabriel up against the rock, patting him down roughly, irritated he had held Amanda's hand, even if it was innocently
"Do you guys have a camp?" Gabriel asked hopefully
"No. Do you?" Rick asked
"No, just my church." Gabriel smiled
"How many walkers have you killed?" Rick asked
"None." Gabriel said
"People?" Rick questioned
"None." Gabriel replied
"Why?" Rick pondered, "everyone's got something. What's yours? What's your issues?"
"Violence is prohibited by God. But i am a sinner, i sin every day.. I confess that to God.. Not strangers." Gabriel said
"So.. You have a church?" Amanda asked, cutting off Rick before he could speak, in fear that he would say something distasteful
"Yes, I am more than happy to help accommodate you all." Gabriel smiled
"Earlier... Were you watching us?" Rick asked
"No, I keep to myself." Gabriel said as he walked alongside Amanda, finding comfort in her since she had been the kindest towards him, "nowadays, people are worse than walkers. I haven't been past the stream by my church more than a few times since it all started. that was the furthest i've gone." Gabriel said, "maybe i'm lying. maybe there's no church at all. Maybe i'm login so I can steal all your squirrels."
Ricks face hardened and he looked at Gabriel
"Members of my flock have told me that my sense of humor leaves much to be desired." Gabriel said
Rick stepped closer towards Gabriel to intimidate him
"Rick." Amanda said as she stepped between them
Gabriel quickly backed away but ran into some bushes
"C'mon, Rick. Be nice." Amanda mumbled quietly to him
Rick wrapped his arms around her, cupping her bum, "he held your hand." he said
"It was more awkward than romantic." Amanda laughed as she kissed him, "c'mon." she said as she pulled away and dragged him towards the church
"Hold up!" Rick called to Gabriel, "Let us take a look around first. We just wanna hold onto our squirrels." He said
Amanda laughed softly as she rolled her eyes, "I'll lead." She said as she opened the door. She held onto her pistol as she walked inside. She nodded as Rick took the opposite end of the hallway.
Rick walked over to the center part of the church, looking around at all the cans of food
"I spent months without walking out the front door, if you found someone inside that I didn't know if, that would've been surprising." Gabriel laughed
"I found a short bus outside. Doesn't run but in a day or two I could probably fix it up." Abraham said, "Father said he doesn't want it. Looks like we found ourselves some transport."
Amanda exhaled deeply, "We can't even think of doing anything until we get supplies." Amanda said
"Correct." Rick said, looking at Abraham before putting his hand on the small of Amanda's back and guiding her inside
Amanda picked up Judith and carried her inside. She hummed softly as she found the church nursery. She smiled as she saw Gabriel walk over.
Gabriel smiled, "I made it here for a month without needing to go outside. Every place has been picked clean except one."
"What's wrong with it?" Amanda asked
"The dead overrun." Gabriel replied
"How many?" Amanda asked
"A dozen or so." Gabriel sighed
"Oh, easy." Amanda said as she sat down on a rocking chair with Judith, humming softly as she pat her bum gently
"You're coming with us." A harsh voice spoke up from behind Gabriel
"Oh no no, I would be of no use." Gabriel said worriedly
"You're coming." Rick said again
Gabriel signed as he nodded "alright." he said quietly, walking past Rick and into his office
Amanda looked up at Rick, her eyes speaking for her
"Don't look at me like that." Rick said
"You're very rude to The Father." Amanda said as she laid Judith down in a play pen, smiling as she watched her sleep
"I don't trust him." Rick said as he walked over to Amanda
Amanda sighed as she met him halfway, "why?"
"Why do you trust him?" Rick challenged
"I think he's just a worm. Not good, not bad.. weird... but harmless. Weak." Amanda said, shrugging
"You don't make it this far by being a worm." Rick said, rolling his eyes
"Don't roll your eyes at me." Amanda warned him as she looked up at him
Rick broke out into a grin as he looked down at her, his mood instantly changing when her tone was altered, "scold me again." he begged
"You're disgusting, we're in the House of God." Amanda whispered
"So? We're married." Rick grinned as he kissed at her neck
"Get off me." Amanda laughed as she pushed him away.
"You coming or staying?" Rick asked her as he reached his hand out for her
"Which would you prefer?" Amanda asked as she ghosted her finger tips against his
"I'd like you to stay but I have a feeling that's not very likely." Rick said
Amanda nodded, "I'd like to come, please."
"Okay, we head out in 10. Grab your stuff." Rick said as he grabbed her hand and squeezed it
Amanda smiled as she nodded, walking off to grab her things. Amanda looked up as Gabriel walked over to her, "Hi, Father." Amanda smiled as she sat down on a pew
"Hi, Amanda." Gabriel smiled as he sat besides her, "you are a lot kinder than your husband." he noted
Amanda laughed softly, "I think he's okay." She smiled, "He's very passionate."
"He loves you very much." Gabriel smiled
"I hope so." Amanda smiled, "thank you."
Rick walked over, "Let's go." he called out, "C'mon." He said, his eyes darting over to Gabriel
Amanda stood up and adjusted her holster, walking out the front door. She jogged down the step, leading the way towards the town
Rick walked behind her, eyeing her body up carefully, "hey, slow down." he called to her
"speed up." amanda replied
Rick rolled his eyes as he jogged over to her. He grabbed her bicep, stopping her in her tracks, "I am going to fuck your brains out tonight." rick whispered in her ear
Amanda's eyes widened as she looked up at him, "why? what did i do?" she asked
Rick looked down at her, "walk around in those jeans." he mumbled in her ear before he let go of her arm and began walking alongside her, "Maggie, Glenn, Tara - You two check out that gun shop. Gabriel, Sasha, Michonne, Bob, Amanda and I will go get the food." Rick replied
Glenn nodded at Rick before leading the two women down the street towards the gun shop
Amanda crossed her arms as she walked, humming quietly as she looked at the trees. She walked towards the shop Gabriel had pointed out and she stood in the doorway. She grabbed her pistol and crept inside quietly, "it's empty." Amanda said in confusion, but stopped when she heard low growling
"Stay behind me." Rick ordered as he crept towards the hole in the floor
Amanda walked to a corner of the store, gasping as she stumbled, making a loud noise. She quickly stood up and made her way to where Rick had ordered her to stay
Rick turned around quickly and looked at Amanda, "What was that?" He asked, "was there a walker over there?"
"No." Amanda said quickly
Rick looked at her in confusion
"I tripped on a mop. Just focus on the hole in the floor." Amanda said
Rick exhaled deeply but let out a quiet laugh, "alright." he said as he looked through the hole
"Lotta rain water." Michonne said, looking up at the hole in the ceiling
"How do you wanna do this?" Bob asked
"We use the shelves. Barricade ourselves inside and take them out." Sasha said
"That's a good idea." Amanda said. She held her hand out for Rick to stabilize her as she climbed down, standing on top of the shelves. She climbed down carefully and held her hand out to help Rick
Rick slid down besides Amanda, helping Bob down, "You too, Gabriel!" He called as he watched Bob help Sasha down then Michonne and Gabriel
Amanda pulled the shelves to the side, pulling the group into the circle. Amanda took her knife and started stabbing walkers. After about 10 minutes, amanda heard flailing. She looked over and saw Gabriel.
Gabriel screamed as he clung to the wall, holding kicking his feet before he stopped, staring at the walker who came towards him. He closed his eyes as he embraced himself for impact, "Our Father who art in Heaven; Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done onto earth as done onto Heaven." Gabriel whispered to himself
"Oh my god." Amanda said as she pushed past the the barricade, "Gabriel!" Amanda shouted as she grabbed the walker by her neck, burying her knife into her scalp. Amanda pushed Gabriel behind her as she pushed away another walker, drilling her knife through the back of its head.
"Amanda!" Rick shouted angrily, upset she had left the barrier but more upset that Gabriel was too weak to take care of himself. Rick watched as Bob killed the last walker and he pushed out from behind the shelves and swam over, "Are you bit? Scratched? Hurt in anyway?" He asked as he ran his hands over her body, "don't you ever put my wife in a dangerous situation just because you're too much of a coward!" Rick shouted at Gabriel
"Hey! Gabriel didn't make me do anything!" Amanda said, "Rick, stop."
"Just start packing up some food so we can get out of here." Rick said as he walked through the water back to the food.
Amanda exhaled deeply as she helped pack up some food. Once they finished, she climbed back up the shelves. She brushed herself off and began pushing one of the carts down the road
"Amanda, may I speak with you?" Gabriel asked nervously, jogging to catch up with her
"Yeah, of course." Amanda said as she slowed down, "What's up?"
"I-I'm sorry for letting you go into harms way for me. It's just I... I had a friendly relationship with that woman." Gabriel said slowly
"You knew her when she was alive. No sweat. It's hard." Amanda said sympathetically, "This is all new to you, you deserve grace. There's a learning curve. You were trained to do no harm, its not something you can unlearn. Rick was a cop, I was in the Army before I was a nurse. You're learning." Amanda encouraged as she pushed the cart
"You're very kind." Gabriel said, "Thank you, i am eternally grateful." He said, "May I?" He asked as he took the cart from her and pushed it
Amanda smiled as she nodded, "thanks." She said. She stopped in front of the church and looked over as Gabriel whispered something in her ear. He informed her that the church had a safe haven for people who endured a tragedy and needed temporary lodging. He informed her that the bathroom ran on a generator and she was able to take a warm shower.
Rick grit his teeth as he saw Gabriel whispering in Amanda's ear. He exhaled deeply as he walked over to Carl.
"Thank you, Father." Amanda smiled as she walked inside the church. She grabbed her bag and walked over to the back bedroom. She closed the door behind her and took a quick shower. She wrapped herself up in a towel before walking back into the room and looking out the small window. She smiled as she saw Rick and she tapped the glass quietly to grab his attention
Rick looked up from his conversation with Carl and he exhaled deeply, "We'll resume this later. Don't tell anyone else what you found." He said quietly as he jogged inside the church, "Amanda?" He called
"In here." Amanda replied
Rick walked inside the room, "You look refreshed." He smiled softly, closing the bedroom door behind him
"The Father told me about a shower in here that works. Take a warm shower." Amanda smiled up at him
"I'm assuming you already took one?" Rick asked as he unbuttoned his shirt
Amanda nodded, "Yes, now go." She smiled as she watched him walk into the bathroom. She hummed softly as she laid their sleeping bag out on the floor before standing back up. She reached into her bag and reached an outfit - a pair of black running shorts and a fitted dark blue t shirt. Amanda smiled as she watched Rick walk out of the bathroom, "Hi you."
"Hey." Rick smiled as he walked over, kissing her softly.
Amanda stood on her tippy toes and kissed him back before she slid on her clothes, "Let's go join everyone by the pews." Amanda smiled
Rick slid on some clothes, taking her hand and walking behind her. He grinned at Judith as he picked her up.
"You guys sit down and I'll fix you a plate. Okay?" Amanda smiled at Rick as she began serving them. She sat down besides Rick, giving him a bowl in exchange for Judith. Amanda smiled as she mashed up a small bean and fed it to her, "yummy yummy." Amanda said as she swayed her carefully
Rick smiled as he pat the seat next to him for Carl. He looked up as Abraham began his speech. Rick looked over at Amanda, curious for her input
Amanda met his gaze and she shrugged, "We don't have much else going on." Amanda said, "We're less likely to run out of supplies in the area if we keep moving." she whispered to him
Just before Rick could answer, Judith cooed loudly. Rick laughed, "If she's in, I'm in." he smiled widely
"Where's Carol and Daryl?" Amanda asked
"I think they went on a hunt." Rick said, looking around for Gabriel, who was locked away in his office
Amanda smiled as she looked up when Sasha came over. She grinned as she handed her Judith, "Careful, her hands are covered in beans." Amanda laughed softly
"She's so tiny." Sasha said, "So pure." She said sweetly as she rocked her
Amanda smiled as she squeezed Sasha's hand before walking to hers and Ricks room. She let Maverick in before she shut the door behind her. She smiled as she watched the dog curl up on the ground.
Rick knocked on the door before walking inside, "tired?" he asked her with a smile as he crawled into bed with her
"Exhausted." Amanda said as she laid on her side, looking at Rick
Rick grinned as he leaned in, kissing her deeply. He shifted, crawling on top of Amanda as he slid his hands up the leg of her running shorts.
Amanda moaned softly at his soft touch, shivering when he dug his nails down the back of her thighs.
Maverick began to growl quickly, standing up and pacing around the room
Rick glanced at the dog but just assumed he was overwhelmed from all the people in the church. He looked back at Amanda as he slid her shirt up, leaving soft kisses on her stomach.
Amanda moaned softly as she bucked her hips, "Rick.."she whispered desperately but jerked up when Maverick began barking angrily. These barks were different than his normal ones. They boomed throughout the room, so aggressive that salvia was running down his jaw, "Oh my god." Amanda said as she stood up, walking over and trailing after Maverick. She opened the front door to the church and gasped, "There's someone laying in the grass!" She called as she ran down the steps of the church
Rick chased after Amanda, "Get inside!" He screamed at her, seeing that she was wearing only shorts and a t shirt, since it was colder outside
"Bob!" Sasha cried as she kneeled on the ground besides him
"Give me your gun!" Amanda screamed at Sasha, "Tyrese! Help carry Bob inside!" She shouted as she took the gun and shot down some walkers.
"Go!" Rick said as he pushed Amanda towards the door, taking out one final walker
Amanda ran inside, "Let me see him!" she said as she knelt on the ground next to him. She gently removed the bandage from his leg, examining his numb
"It was those guys... Gareth... and a few others... They knocked me out... I woke up a-and i was at some sort of school... They were eating my leg like it was nothing." Bob said softly
"Did they have Carol and Daryl?" Rick asked softly
Bob shook his head, "No, Gareth said he saw them take off in a car together and drive off." He said, "He said he was looking for a woman with short gray hair and another with long brown hair and green eyes. He said killed his mom."
"That was Carol and I." Amanda said, "Rick, remember that woman that was talking to me? I smashed her face into the ground a couple times before I let walkers get her. T-That must be the mom. But I did that, not Carol." Amanda said
"We need to go to the school." Rick said
"Good luck. We'll be out of here within the next 10 minutes. Eugene, Rosita - grab your shit." Abraham said
"Y'all leaving on foot?" Rick questioned
"No, we've got the bus that WE fixed up." Abraham said
"There's more of us. I cannot let you take that bus." Rick said
"Try and stop me." Abraham said
Rick paused for a moment before he put down his rifle and walked towards the man
"Stop! Stop!" Amanda shouted, "If you stay and help us, we'll all go to DC. You need bodies. More bodies means more protection for Eugene." Amanda begged, trying to sell their case
Abraham paused, "12 hours. You have 12 hours." He said as he walked past Rick
Rick looked down at Amanda, "I need you to stay here. I need you to stay hidden. Tucked away. You are like a turkey on thanksgiving. You need to hide away with Judith, Carl and Eugene." Rick said, "Me, Glenn, Maggie and Abraham are going to the school." Rick said
Amanda nodded, not wanting to argue with Rick. She kissed him softly, "come back to me." she said softly
"Always." Rick said back as he grabbed his rifle, walking out with the group
Amanda exhaled deeply as she walked into the priests office. She sighed softly as she sat down on the edge of the desk, holding her gun. She watched as Carl, Judith, Tyrese, Rosita, Eugene and Gabriel funneled in, "Lock the door, please." Amanda asked softly. She rubbed Mavericks head, praising him softly for alerting her that Bob was outside
The room was quiet but the silence was filled by a low growl from Maverick. Amanda looked up, hearing a gun shot, which opened the front door. Amanda placed her hand on Mavericks snout to silence him as she pulled out her gun, cocking it slightly
"Mandy Mandy Maaannndddyyy." Gareth sang, "I know you're in there. I know you're all in there. Can you say hello to Carl and Judith for me?" He asked sweetly, slowly walking inside of the church, "This place is only so small. I'm sure we'll find you all eventually." Gareth said, "I know who else is in there. I also know who isn't! I know your hubby Rick took off, thinking he was keeping you safe." Gareth said
Amanda crept up towards the door, stepping careful as to not make the wood creek. She held her gun, looking at Carl as she nodded, telling him to prepare himself
"Her hubby is right here." Rick said, shooting his python, taking off the finger tips of Gareth, "Drop
to your knees and put the weapons in front of you."
"Listen to the guy." Gareth said as he gripped his hand, trying to stop the blood
Rick walked over to Gareth, holding his hand on the handle of his machete.
"We can work this out." Gareth promised, "We'll leave and never cross paths. We'll never bother you guys again."
"That would be nice... But you guys will cross paths with other people. Do the same thing to them." Rick said, grabbing the machete from his holster
"Please, please." Gareth begged
Amanda opened the door to the office, peeking her head out. She watched in horror as Rick drove the machete into the man's neck, repeatedly hitting him with the blade
Rick kicked the man to the ground, exhaling deeply as he looked at all the dead bodies on the ground, "Toss them in the yard, we burn them." Rick said as he grabbed Garth's legs and dragged him outside.
Amanda's breath hitched as she watched the group grab onto the dead bodies and toss them outside, leading them into an empty part of the woods. She exhaled deeply as she sat next to Bob, stroking his hair back, "Can i get you anything?" She asked
"Sasha.. Can you bring me Sasha?" Bob asked hopefully
Amanda nodded as she walked outside. She glanced over at Rick but stayed quiet, making her way over to Sasha, "hey, bobs requesting your presence." She smiled as she squeezed her hand. She walked inside behind Sasha but walked into hers and ricks room.
Rick trailed behind her, his face splattered with blood, his coat covered in some organ chunks.
Amanda looked up at him, sitting down on a bench. She exhaled deeply, staying quiet as she slid off her gym shoes
"Don't look at me like that." Rick croaked out
"You looked like you enjoyed killing him." Amanda said, "Like... Like it meant nothing to you." She stammered
Rick kneeled down besides her, lifting his head up with by her chin. He forced her to look into his eyes, which were dark, "I enjoy killing any man that threatens my wife." He spoke, "The Governor, Shane and Gareth... I'd do it again in a heart beat." Rick said, his voice harsher than normal
Amanda's breath hitched, angry at herself that she was aroused by his dark attitude. She pulled away from his touch, walking over to the bathroom. She returned with a damp rag, "sit." she said
Rick sat down on the bench, looking at her cautiously
Amanda sat down besides him, wiping the blood off his face and out of his beard. She was chewing on the inside of her lips, her eyes glistening with lust. She shifted her legs, trying to find some relief
"What's up?" Rick asked, watching her squirm. He raised his eyebrows, "What? You wanna be Ms. Moral Police but you're turned on that I'm willing to kill for you?" Rick questioned
Amanda avoided his gaze as she used the damp rag to clean off his neck
"Answer me." Rick demanded
"Maybe." Amanda mumbled as she shrugged
Rick cupped her jaw with his hand, forcing their lips together in a rough manner
Amanda moaned softly at his aggression, dropping the rag as she wrapped her arms around his neck
Rick pushed her away, "clothes off. now." rick ordered as he watched her closely
Amanda's breath hitched as she looked up at him, but nodded as she slid off her t shirt. She slid her shorts down, stepping out of them as she stood in front of Rick, naked
Rick stood up, walking over to her, his boots clicking against the floor. He grabbed Amanda's arm and pushed her over a table. He was being rough, but not in a way to hurt Amanda, but to show her he was in charge
Amanda bent over the table, her heart racing as she looked back at Rick
Rick knelt down behind her, using his hand to spread open her lips, blowing warm air against her hole. He grinned as he watched her clench, loving how vulnerable she was for him in that moment
