"Alright, guys, sorry about that. As I was saying, please practice if you can until next class. I want you all to be able to have the first 30 seconds of the dance down by then, if not, that's totally okay, but it would be great if you could." I say to my students in the class. "Any questions?" I ask them.
One of the girls who is, might I add, one of my favorite students named Ryley raises her hand. I'm pretty close with all of the kids and they're all ages 13-17, so they talk to me about whatever, honestly.
"Yes, Ry?" I ask Ryley. "Vae, do you have a girlfriend that keeps texting you?" She smirks. "Please tell me you didn't get back together with Raya!" One of the other girls, Nessa, chimes in.
"Okay, I really hate how much of my personal life you guys know." I roll my eyes. "Anyways, no. I don't have a girlfriend." I tell them.
"Who is it then?" Ryley asks. "Okay, this is gonna be a secret between all of us. You're not telling anyone else about this or asking for any info about her, okay?" I say to the class and they all nod.
"Believe it or not, it's actually Billie Eilish." I laugh. "WHAT?" Everyone shouts. "Yeah.." I nod.
"Okay, how did this even happen?" Another girl, Imani, asks me. "She typed in the wrong number which happened to be mine and now she won't leave me alone. She's.. a lot." I tell them.
"Do you like her? Like, like like her?" Ry asks. "I mean, she's Billie Eilish, what's not to like? But I barely know her, so not exactly." I chuckle.
"I'm turning 18 soon, so if you don't want her, send her my way." Taylor, another student, winks.
"Tay, that's Vae's girl now. Back off." Ryley nudges her. "Okay, enough about my personal life. Go home, dummies." I giggle and wave them out the door.
They all say bye to me and walk out of the class. Isaiah comes into the room since he was teaching a class in a different room, and he sits on the floor with me. "I'm fucking exhausted." He groans.
"So am I." I sigh. "Those girls are a lot of work." I shake my head. "Ugh, tell me about it. One of the girls in my class kept complaining about the room being too hot when there were 3 fans on and the AC was at 67 degrees." He complains.
"Let me guess, was it Jayda?" I ask and he nods. "That girl is always hot for some reason." I laugh.
"Let's go home, I need to take a nap." Isaiah says. I grab my bag and we walk out to the car and I start driving us home.
We get to the apartment complex and Isaiah and I walk up the stairs to the second floor and I unlock the door to our apartment. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Isaiah groans.
Sunny peed on the couch instead of his bed this time. This dog is actually crazy.
"Hi, Sunny baby." I coo at her and pick her up. "Don't talk to her like she's innocent! She peed on the couch, Vae!" Isaiah shouts.
"Okay, you seriously need to pick if you like her or not, bro. One day you're all 'Aww, I love you, Sunny! Let's go for a walk!' and then it's 'We're sending your ass back to the breeder!' which we, so heroically, rescued her from." I mock him.
"Touché." He sighs and starts cleaning the couch. "I'm gonna shower, have fun with that." I laugh and walk to the bathroom to take a shower.
I quickly shower and I change into some shorts and a t-shirt before going to my bed and laying down. I pull out my phone and I go to Billie's contact.

She is so fucking bold. Like, she barely even knows me.
But know that I've been talking to her for a few days, she's not so bad. She is definitely a lot, but she's kind of sweet.
But I'm not gonna let myself catch feelings. I'm not saying I would, but I don't want to. I mean, she lives all the way in California. That would never work out.
