- Courtney's POV -
"Soo.. movie?" I said
"I thought you hated me" he said.
"I do" I replied.
"Sure you do.." he said
It was silent for a while.
"Hey, wanna go somewhere?"
"..sure"
I put on my shoes and walked outside with him.
"Soo.. where are we going?" I asked
"I'm kidnapping you" he said
"you're WHAT" I said, letting go of his hand.
(No I didn't know I was holding his hand so it's not.. romantical or anything..)
"Chill, I'm joking" he said.
Just then, Gwen texted me, (which made me remember that this is super wrong and I am a horrible person for this) saying "wanna have a sleepover"
...
What do I say to her..
"Maybe next week? Busy studying" I replied
"But we have nothing to study for.." she texted
Well shoot.
"Just trying to get better.. talk later?"
That was a close one.
"Do you trust me?" He asked
"Uh.. yeah.." I said
He closed my eyes and took my hand.
5 steps in he opened my eyes, and it was dark, but it was a beach.
We sat down on the dry sand, looking at the stars.
"What about Gw-"
"Why does everything have to be about her? I like you Courtney. I always have.. from the moment I saw you" he said.
"But your girlfriend-" I said
"Who cares about her? I love you"
I don't know what got into me but.. I guessed I just kissed him. Except this time it felt so right and sincere.
I smiled a bit, then looked at my phone.
"You should go home. We have school tomorrow after all." I said
"Yeah. Want me to walk you home?" He said
I nodded yes, then we both walked home.
"Bye Duncan" I said
"Bye, princess." He said
