Joseph and I have been trying for a baby for a few years now. But we haven't succeeded. We mostly went through miscarriage after miscarriage. I was just so upset and heartbroken that I couldn't carry his children. I wanted to find out the reason for all these miscarriages. So, I scheduled an appointment with my OB-GYN to get some answers. Once my schedule was set,I told Joseph. He really wants children, and I feel bad that I can't give him that.
On the day of the appointment ,I was very nervous to find out the problem of me not being able to get pregnant. We pulled up to the building. My legs were bouncing up and down, and my breathing was getting heavy. I was having a panic attack. Joseph held my hands and told me to relax and that everything would be alright. Once I was feeling better,we walked into the building holding hands. I squeezed his hand really tight. He didn't seem to be bothered about it. I checked in and sat down in the waiting room. I didn't have to wait long. 20 minutes is how long I waited. They called me in.
We followed the nurse into the room she had lay down on the bed and lifted up my shirt. I did what I was asked to do. She squirted some jelly like liquid on my belly. Then she used the machine that checks my insides. After a few minutes of the scan,the nurse got up and left the room without an explanation. Joseph and I were quite curious and confused. 5 minutes have gone by, and the nurse comes back in with the doctor. The doctor takes over the machine and starts scanning my belly. She looked at me and said, "When was the last time you and your boyfriend had unprotected sex?" That was an extremely personal question,but I had no choice but to answer. "We had unprotected sex 12 weeks ago. Why? Is there something wrong?" The doctor smiles at Joseph and I. We both looked at each other with confused looks. We were wondering what she meant by that. So Joseph asked, "Doctor,what do you mean by that? All we wanted to know is why she can't get pregnant."
The doctor smiled again and showed us the screen. She pointed to the screen and said, "That there is your baby! You are about 12 weeks along. So you're 3 months pregnant." I wanted to cry and freak out at the same time. I looked at the doctor and said, "I...I haven't felt any symptoms of pregnancy for these past 3 months. Are...are you sure there's a baby in there?" She nodded her head and said,"Do you want to hear the heartbeat. To know for sure it's real?" Joseph and I both nodded our heads. She turns the button on and turns the volume up. And sure enough,there was a tiny heartbeat. I couldn't help but cry. I looked over at Joseph, and he had tears in his eyes.
He looked at the doctor and said, "We have been trying to conceive for 3 years now, and we haven't had any luck. She has gone through at least three or four miscarriages. This is the best news we have ever gotten. Thank you so much." The doctor took hold of Joseph's hand and said,"Y/n,when you got checked out a few years back,did they tell the reason why you couldn't have any children?" I looked at Joseph and then back at the doctor and said,"No,they didn't say what was actually the reason why I couldn't conceive. Joseph's sperm is normal,so we knew it wasn't him. And I kind of figured that it had something to do with me." The doctor nodded her head and said "Well I am gonna tell you what you had,okay. You had PCOS,which mkeans Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. That can cause you to not be able to get pregnant. Sometimes, there are different ways to become pregnant. Most women use IVF, which is a shot you use every week. But you don't have to worry about that,because you are already pregnant. Which is quite a miracle. You are pregnant with your miracle, baby. Congratulations again."
Joseph and I walked out of the doctor's and scheduled an appointment in 2 months. As we got into the car,I looked at him with tears in my eyes and said, "Baby,we did it. We are gonna be parents. I never expected this to happen. God works in mysterious ways. We are having a baby,Joseph. I can't believe it." I started to cry happy tears,Joseph pulled me into a hug. "God does work in mysterious ways, sweetheart. He knew that we had been trying for so long. He finally realized that we have been wanting to be parents. And now we are being blessed by this little miracle." He places his hamd on my belly. I placed mine on top of his. This is a dream come true.
2 months later,Joseph and I decided to find out the gender. We are having a boy. And we are super excited. We already have a name picked out for him. We have told our family and friends about the gender and his name. We haven't released the information over social media yet. We will once he is born and we know that he is very healthy. (I WILL GIVE YA'LL HIS NAME AT THE END OF THE STORY!)
"I can't believe we have 4 more months until we meet our son,Joseph. I am so excited to hold him in my arms." I said while Joseph and I were out dining. Joseph reached his hand over the table and held mine and said, "I can't wait either. This little boy of ours is already spoiled, and he isn't even born yet." While we were eating and chatting,we were interrupted by some fans. "Can we take a picture with you guys?" One fan asked. The other one asked Joseph a disrespectful question, "Joseph,we both want to know what you even saw in Y/n. I think you deserve way better. She is not even that pretty." I got up and ran to the bathroom,crying. I couldn't believe they said that about me. Why would they even say something like that? Maybe they are right. Maybe I ain't good enough for him. 5 minutes have gone past, and I hear a knock on the door.
"Baby girl,can I come in, please? The girls are gone. I told them to leave . Don't listen to anything they say. You are the one for me. I love you!" I unlock the bathroom door, and he walks in, closing and locking the door behind him. He sits down on the floor with me and lays his hand on my thigh. He starts rubbing it with his thumb. I laid my head on his shoulder. "Darling,what those girls said,we wlvery disrespectful. I love you, and I love our son. I am never gonna leave both of you." He says with a worried voice. I looked at him and said, "But maybe they are right. Maybe I ain't good enough for you. You need someone who will make you happy and...and to...." Joseph cut you off by saying,"You do make me happy, and you are good enough for me. You are my everything. Y/n. You have brought so much joy into my damn life. I wouldn't know what to do without you. Please don't let those girls bother you,okay. Can you do that for me?" He placed a kiss on top of my forehead, and I said with a slight sigh."Okay,fine. Whatever they said about me not being good enough for you,I will toss it to the side. You are right, though. I shouldn't have let their words bother me. But with me being pregnant,my hormones are little elevated. So I will get emotional or even angry at any moment. Instead of me getting angry at them,I came in here and let my emotions get the best of me. I am truly sorry, babe! Hope you can forgive me?"
Joseph wraps his arms around me and whispers, "No need to apologize. You've done nothing wrong. We were just minding our business when those girls rudely interrupted us. And if you need anything at all,please let me know. Because I am always gonna be here for you. Now,let's go home and take a bubble bath and relax." I smiled up at him and said,"That sounds great, babe. But you have to join me though and I am not taking no for an answer." I playfully smacked his arm. He agreed to get in the bath with me. We drove home,and he kept his hand on my thigh the whole time. I love feeling his touch on my body.
We pulled into the driveway, parked the car, and got out and opened my door for me. He is such a gentleman. He takes my hand and helps me out of the car. I love him so damn much. How did I ever get so damn lucky? He holds my hand and leads me to the house. We walk up the stairs to the front door,he unlocks it, and lets me go in first. "Ladies first!" He said politely. I smiled and walked in. He follows behind me. He tosses the keys on the stand near the door, and he guides me up the staircase and towards our bedroom. "I am gonna go and get the bath ready for us,darling." He kisses my lips and walks towards the bathroom.
I slowly start taking my clothes off. I felt hands reach around my waist. He brings his hands to the button of my jeans and unbuttons them. "Joseph,you know I am capable of taking my own clothes off right." I said as he slowly took my pants off. "Oh, I know that. But I just wanted to take them off for you. Now that your pants are off,let's get this bra off." He comes to the front of me and brings his around my back and unclasps my bra. He lets it fall to the floor. He stands back and admires my naked form. He pulled me close to him and said, "Pregnancy looks good on you. Your breasts are perfect." He says while he brings his hands to my breasts. He gropes them with a gentle squeeze. This feeling made a moan slip through my lips. He smirks at me while he takes his clothes off. I looked down and noticed that he had a hard on. He lifts me up by my ass,I wrap my legs around his waist. I can feel his erection on my thigh. He carries me to the bathroom. Once in there,he pins me up against the counter.
He was taking it slow. But I didn't want him to go slow, so I said, "Baby,you don't need to go slow just because I am pregnant. I can handle it." I ran my hands down his muscular arms. He looked so good with and without clothes on. He turns me on so much. He lowers himself onto his hands and knees. He spreads my legs wide and places his head between my thighs. His tongue ran over my slit,I started breathing heavy. I grabbed tight onto his curls. I tossed my head back and started to moan. Once I hit my release,Joseph stands up and, without hesitation, slides himself into me. I took my hands and dug my fingernails into his bare skin. He leans closer to me,whispering in my ear "Damn,baby you feel so good wrapped around me."
He goes even harder,I moaned louder. Screaming his name in the process. Once he hit his release,he pulled out of me and let me get down off the counter. We both get inside the tub. We clean each other up. The bath felt so good and relaxing. We stayed in the tub for a few more minutes. Then we got out and dried off. Today was the best day for both of us.
*Major Time Jump*
I am now 9 months pregnant. It was a day before my due date, and today happens to be Joseph's birthday. We both couldn't wait to meet our son. One day,we were at home,just having a relaxing day. When all of a sudden,I felt a sharp pain in my belly. It lasted for a few seconds. I stood up to walk off the pain,but I felt something gush down my leg. My waters broke. Joseph jumped off the couch and rushed over to me. I was going intolaborr. Our son was on his way. Joseph gathered all of my hospital bags and packed them in the car. Grabbed the carseat and placed it in the backseat of the car. He helps me get in the car. He runs to the driver's side of the car and gets in. He started up the car and we drove to the hospital,which was 30 minutes away.
The pain was getting worse. Joseph, being the sweetest boyfriend ever was helping through the pain. I kept taking deep breaths in and out. We made it to the hospital. They wheeled into a room. I had to change out of my clothes and put on a hospital gown. I laid down on the bed, and they hooked me to machines. One of them were to listen to his heartbeat and the other one to check on my contractions and how apart they are. I cried and cried. The pain was excruciating. I squeezed Joseph's pain. My mother did warn me about these labor pains. And boy was she right,they hurt like a bitch.
After 3 hours of being in labour and 35 minutes of pushing. Joseph and my son was born. They laid him on my chest. I wrapped my arms around his tiny little frame. He was too perfect and precious. The pain may have been unbareable,but he was worth so much more then pain. I kissed his tiny head. He started fussing,so I brought him up to my breast and he latched on real quick. Joseph watched and was admired that I carried a human being in my body. We both were in complete awe with our precious son. We couldn't believe that he made his appearance on his daddy's birthday.
