Chapter-8 Wedding
Cherish's POV:
morning,
I wore the pearl necklace with annoyed face. Riccardo was wearing his watch looking at me questioned.
I am wearing a white mermaid style party dress with lot of shine. I chose this dress to outshine the bride. I purposely wore a red lipstick to make me look hotter.
I saw smirk on Riccardo's face through the mirror. I narrowed my eyes.
He whispered, "Looking..... kissable...."
He smirked looking down, he walked away saying, "quite dressed up for someone doesn't want to go..."
I took my clutch as I said, "I have no options...."
He grabbed my hand as he said, "Out shinning the bride won't help..." He smiled, walking me out of the room. He thinks I am childish.
I am.....
He whispered, " I am going to take you everywhere I go regardless your looks...."
In the wedding,
Everyone is looking at me, giving me weird looks. I ignored them. I am looking like a bride on purpose. I want to ruin it for my brother.
He would remember this wedding forever.
I heard Riccardo whisper in my ear, " ... Go.. meet your brother once...."
I turned to him saying, "I cut ties with them... I am serious..." he smirked. but he was so close to me. He placed a small kiss on my cheek.
I get nervous when he does that. He whispered, "You surely look for problems...."
I looked all around the venue avoiding him. I know everyone wants to talk to him, but they are so intimidated by him. I am his wife now.... that's more crazy!!!
But the wedding has only few people around here, just close family and friends.
I noticed my cousin brother walking to me. I have a lot of them. I am the only girl born in the family, remember..... So, every cousin is a boy!!!
Bruce stood in front of us, Having a friendly hand shake with Riccardo, but Riccardo is surprisingly cold. He has that expression plastered to his damn face!
Bruce hugged me like he always does, with opening his hands full with a silly smile. I couldn't stop him, but it's like childhood. He is oldest among us so, I am in good terms with him than my brother Isaac.
Bruce has these nasty tattoos on his hands, like on fingers and stuff. I complained a lot when I first saw them.
Bruce said, "Cherish.... come on give brother a smile..."
I looked at him saying, "I am no longer related to you all...." Riccardo put his hands around my waist pulling me to himself.
He whispered, "Wife is still angry?"
Bruce chuckled, You are my cousin brother.... You should have stood against it!!! We were big happy family all my life and you all disappeared when I needed you!!!
Bruce said serious, "Cherish.... this is important.... I am glad you are married to Mr. Valentine...."
I shot a glare at him, he is older than me, but I want to punch him. Bruce said passing me a drink, "Cherish you can leave this family.... But Bruce will never abandon his little sister...."
I looked at him as finally I couldn't say silent, "You already did when I had to marry him.... I didn't even knew when I was married to him..." I felt Riccardo's hand tighten on my waist. I looked at him meeting his glare.
Bruce walked away saying, "see you when your head cools down...." I looked away from him. I can't even look at them.
Mom walks in with Dad in the venue, So finally parents of the century are here?
Mom and Dad greeted Riccardo. I avoided them.
I heard Dad, "Cherish...." I didn't even had a glance at him, this is why I didn't wanted to come here.
Mom placed a hand on my face, she said, "Are you ok?" I want to hug her, but I stayed silent.
Mom smiled bitterly, she said, "Won't you talk to me?"
I whispered looking at Riccardo, "My feet are in pain.... let me grab a seat...." I walked away from them. I will never forgive them.
Soon, I was sitting in front row beside Riccardo, of course this man is loaded everyone gave him the best seat at the wedding.
I kept my glare at Isaac, soon I saw the bride walking in with her father.
I cannot let this wedding so smoothly.
I saw her almost getting at her destination, when I stood up clapping My hands.
Riccardo looked at me questioned, I am sure he is hiding it behind his anger. I looked at everyone, now they think I am crazy.
I smiled.
I noticed Isaac's bride is looking at me stunned, yes... I look better than her, I am dressed in white, I look hundred timed better than her.
Isaac was just stunned.
Riccardo sat there just looking at me. I heard Mom, "Cherish.... what are you doing?"
I smiled at my family and Riccardo's too, even though his parents are not here. I don't care.
I said to the crowd, "Hi... Actually, As you remember.... My and Riccardo's wedding didn't go as planned.... I had a small misunderstanding.... So, now... I have a venue, people who love us.... and a dress...." I noticed Riccardo smirk, is he not angry.
I said, "I want to get married properly with my dear husband.... better use of venue.... I and Riccardo will go first for the vows...."
I know I am already his wife, so once married or married twice to him doesn't matter much.
I will turn Isaac's wedding into mine.
I saw Isaac's bride looks pale, and Isaac in rage. I smirked, I am not a pawn you both can use.
I heard Isaac, "Have you finally gone insane?"
Mom said, "Cherish... we will talk about this later, let everything go as it is planned...."
I was aware everyone thinks I am crazy women at this point.
I smiled as I looked at Isaac, "The deal was.... I will marry first to Riccardo.... then you can marry your girlfriend... isn't it?"
I saw a disgusted expression on Isaac's face, I smiled saying, "There would be no wedding unless I have mine...."
I felt Riccardo's hand on mine, he got up smirking, he said, "Best thing you said since I got you...."
What!!!!!
Riccardo looked at my father, He said, "We had a condition... My wife is right..... no ceremony till we finish ours...."
Man!! are you out of your mind....
Wait his pressure will help me here.
Riccardo looked at me as he said, "My wife's wishes should be fulfilled...."
Dad said, "Isaac wait till Cherish get married first...." I smirked at Isaac.
Soon, I had my hands in Riccardo's, I am so nervous. I am getting married to him.
Riccardo had a pleasing expression on his face. I just did for the sake of ruinning the wedding but looks like Riccardo is having want he wanted.
The priest said, "Do you Cherish Derosa take Riccardo Valentine as your Husband?"
I have nothing to lose, I whispered, " I do..."
They asked again, "Do you Riccardo Valentine take Cherish Derosa as your wife?"
He said without hesitation, "I do..."
Then the Priest said, "I pronounce you Husband and Wife.... You may kiss the bride..."
My heart was running miles, my stomach was also tingling in excitement. It's not like I want this.
Riccardo pulled my waist to him, I was so close to him. He kissed me without hesitation, I felt him pulling me into a passionate kiss, but its last long.
He pulled away for the sake of the people watch. I am so embarrassed. I got married to him again!!!!
I clearly noticed Isaac's glare at me, His bride had tears in her eyes. I smirked, I am not going to let this slide.
I stood there as Isaac and His Bride Sophia were getting married. I can't see this, The wedding is still going on. The bride looks unhappy, she had a crying session before, and Isaac begged her to continue the wedding.
I flipped my hair as this drama is making me sick. They both used me a price for their wedding to happen, they think I am that cheap... If I drown you are drowning with me.
I turned to Riccardo as I said, "I want to go back...."
Riccardo asked, "The wedding is still going on...." I whispered pouting, "I... don't care...."
He smirked, he whispered, "Lets go..." He agreed just like that, no questions or protest... Ah! he can listen o me?
I realized why he agreed to be so fast, I am sweating as I looked at our room. He drove me back here and as soon as my feet meet the room, I am out of words.
The room is decorated, the flowers are in vase and the bed is also decorated with flowers, I can see the heart made out of rose petals.
What... what's going on?
I heard the door close, I turned to Riccardo he said walking close to me, "You like it?"
He smirked, I moved back from him. He has a sinister plan in his head. His eyes are looking at me as if I am his pray ready to be ruined.
I whispered, "Nonsense.... what is all this?"
I made sure my anger was visible when I am just nervous right now. He pulled me close as he grabbed my cheeks. He whispered, "it's our wedding night... Wife..." He made these preparations as soon he saw my actions in the wedding.
I saw him leaning down to me, trying to kiss me, I turned my face away I whispered, "No.... I don't love you, you cannot touch me...."
I felt his lips on my cheeks, he whispered in my ears, "You will love me soon.... Does it matters what comes first?"
Riccardo made me look at him again, he whispered, "Trust me, Cherish... I am your husband...." His hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer.
I tried to move back but he trapped me using his body and the wall, his hand grabbed my face harshly killing my protest.
This scares me... terrifies me!!!
I closed my eyes frustrated and nervous, How do I stop him? I felt tears escaping my eyes.
I heard his laugh, I looked at him confused. Riccardo said fixing my hairs, "It's a joke... Look at you already crying, I was trying to teach you a lesson for pulling another stunt.... but looks like you are just mean to be cherished!"
I looked at him like a dumb fish.
Riccardo said, "I would never force you..... But never do anything as such again.... Ok, Cherish?" He asked.
He warned, "Never play a game if you don't like defeat...." I am still too stunned to speak.
I felt his hand wiping my tears. I couldn't process a thing. He said, "The maids will bring food, eat it and sleep.... I have some work to do..." He walked away giving me a final smile.
Soon, My tears were replaced by anger!!!! This son of a b*tch fooled me!!!
I was so scared!!! god! have mercy on me and kill my husband at once!!!!!
I sat on the bed trying to catch my breath, I saw my reflection in the mirror. My face is red!!! Why the f*ck is my face red!!!!!
Riccardo's POV:
I kept my eyes on the file as I heard the maid, "Mrs. Valentine refused to eat..."
I asked flipping the page, "What she is doing?"
The maid said, "She seems upset.... she was watching tv.... and said not to disturb her...."
I looked at the file too focused, I can't seem to read anything.
Knowing her anger.... I know how stubborn she is. She is not use to hearing No... nor to know about results of her actions.
But in the world we live in... her mistakes can put on target. She doesn't know, what her father is involved in.
Indeed she is only daughter in Derosa family, but Derosa's are far away from saints. They smuggle guns and other illegal things. They are part of this empire.
They created a whole show for their only daughter, to protect her and make her a decent human being. But apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
She is indeed unaware but... she is wild, bold... independent ..... She doesn't care about darkness of the world, and I will make sure she never has to do so.
I went to kitchen, I cannot let her starve. I got married to her today again, Honestly, she caught me off guard.
But I went with the flow, when I will get another chance as that. Make her my wife... that so willingly.
I will wait for the day when she will tangle her arms around mine, calling my name and loving me.
Soon enough, I placed the food on the tray. The maid had her head down, I know they all are surprised on my care for a women, but they should remember that women is my wife.
I said, "Take this to Cherish .... and yes, don't tell her I sent it..." The maid nod and too the tray silently. I made her comfort food, that's what she calls it. A soup and some garlic bread.
I know she cannot refuse it.
Few hours later,
I walked in the room, knowing very well, she is already asleep. I make sure she sleeps first because she will not never let me in the bed when she is awake.
I whispered internally, "When will you accept me... I am sick of this coward games..."
