You could feel your heart pounding against your chest as you and the girls prepared to take the stage at the VMAs for the first time ever.
It was a huge moment and you couldn't be more excited, though you do feel slightly nervous as well.
But, nonetheless, you know that you and the girls are going to do well tonight and you're beyond excited to get on the stage for all the fans in the crowd.
You took a deep breath as you and the girls made your way on stage and the fans screamed loudly as the lights went up and they saw the five of you on stage.
You could see celebrities all standing up to cheer for the five of you but no one caught your eye more than Taylor Swift did.
She was in the front row with a drink in her hand, letting loose and cheering you all on.
It helped to bring you some confidence seeing the Taylor Swift enjoying your performance.
Because for as long as you can remember, you've been a huge Swiftie.
Taylor is an icon in your eyes.
She's your favorite artist and quite possibly even your favorite person in the world.
And to see her cheering you all on and even singing along a little made you feel even more excited.
You all gave it your all on the stage from start to finish as the fans screamed loudly and celebrities that you and the girls have always admired rooted for you.
When the performance ended, you all caught your breath and then waved to the fans near the stage for a moment before you all threw your arms around each other.
"That was so fun!" Rosie said as she hugged the four of you tightly. "Oh, gosh, that was incredible!"
You all hugged for another minute before going backstage.
The night was still only just beginning and the five of you couldn't wait to see what was in store.
However, no one was as excited as Taylor was.
As you all made your way back to your seats, Taylor watched and clapped for the five of you as a grin appeared on her face.
"Great job out there!" She said, making you and Rose squeal excitedly.
"Thank you, Taylor!" You happily spoke.
As you all sat back down, the girls began to get into an excited conversation over everything that was going on and what they hoped the night ahead still held.
However, you couldn't help but zone out a little as you stared at Taylor.
You couldn't help but stare because she looked so gorgeous in her dress.
It might possibly be the most stunning dress you've ever seen before and it suited her perfectly, bringing out her beautiful blue eyes even more.
It was only natural for Taylor to feel people staring at her everywhere she goes but she couldn't help but smile when she looked over at you and realized it was your eyes that rested on her.
She sank her teeth into her lip as she stared at you and you could've sworn that you saw her checking you out a little bit.
But you thought there was no way that was happening so you just shyly giggled and looked away, trying to find someone or somewhere else to stare.
But your gaze kept going back to Taylor and every time it did, you'd find her staring at you already.
Time went by quickly due to the five of you having the time of your lives.
BLACKPINK won best Metaverse performance, which was a huge moment for the five of you.
Everyone had cheered so loud when BLACKPINK's name was announced but, just as she'd been during your performance, no one was as loud with their cheers as Taylor was and it only made your cheeks turn even more red.
And then, a groundbreaking moment came when Lisa was announced as the winner for best K-pop.
It was a historic moment, one that silenced everyone who had ever spoken so negatively about her and her accomplishments.
This time around, even as loud as Taylor was as she cheered and clapped for Lisa, no one was louder than you, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosie.
And, of course, the four of you were thanked in her speech, because even though she's thankful for the fans voting and she knew it wasn't possible without them, the four of you mean the most to Lisa.
"Thank you to my BLACKPINK girls!" She said, making everyone cheer as the camera panned to the four of you as you all stood up, smiling from ear to ear as you cheered her on. "I'm so thankful for you all. I wouldn't be where or who I am without you. I love you girls so much."
"We love you too!" You shouted and Lisa giggled happily before finishing her speech.
When she returned a couple of moments later, you all gave her the biggest hugs possible.
"We're so proud of you!" Jennie said.
"Congratulations, Lisa. You deserve that award more than anyone, don't ever let anyone tell you differently." You said.
"Excuse me?" You heard someone say.
And when you all pulled away from each other to look and see who it was, you came face to face with Taylor.
"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting."
"No, it's fine!" Jisoo said.
"I just wanted to come over and tell you all how amazing you did out there tonight. I love Pink Venom, it's such a good song! And, of course, so is LALISA! Fantastic job and congrats on your awards!"
"Thank you so much, Taylor! That means a lot!" You grinned.
"We all love you but she is practically your biggest fan," Lisa said.
"Oh," Taylor grinned. "Well, it's lovely to meet you, Y/N."
It was shocking to realize that she knew your name.
This all seemed too good to be true.
But then again, so did most of your life, and you feel beyond thankful for everything that's happened tonight, especially meeting Taylor.
You were unaware though that people in the crowd were filming the five of you interacting with Taylor and people were uploading it across social media right away.
And it started to trend immediately as your interactions began to break the internet.
"I'm so honored to know that you're a huge fan of mine. I'm a huge fan of yours, as well. A fan of BLACKPINK altogether and individually. You're all so talented and you're truly making a major impact on the industry. It's so lovely to meet you all."
"Thank you so much! That means a lot, especially coming from you!" Rosie excitedly said.
You all hugged her and thanked her repeatedly, making her laugh and grin.
"We should meet up backstage and take some photos together. We can talk more there when the show is over."
"I'd love that!" You said, making the girls giggle and furrow their eyebrows at you. "I mean, we'd love that."
"Okay, cool. See you all very soon." She said before looking at you, looking you up and down.
"Bye!" Jennie said.
"Bye, girls." She said as she stopped and looked at you, a smile pulling at her lips; the most perfect lips you'd ever seen. "Bye, Y/N,"
Your heart skipped beat after beat as the girls all squealed.
"We get to see her again. How cool is that?" You said.
"Maybe we should let you see her instead of all of us." Lisa teased.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, come on. The way she was looking at you? She was totally checking you out." Jisoo said.
"Really?"
"Yes, really!" Rosie laughed.
"Someone has a crush on Y/N," Jennie joked.
"And we know damn well that you have a crush on her too," Lisa smirked.
"BLACKPINK won an award, Lisa won an award, and Y/N might've just won Taylor Swift's heart." Jisoo grinned as she elbowed you playfully when you sat back down.
And as you shook your head with a shy smile and red cheeks, you looked back over at Taylor to find her staring at you again, looking mesmerized.
And you couldn't help but stare back at her, just as mesmerized by her.
Maybe tonight would be the start of something magical.
Only time will tell.
