After my bath..I wore a white robe..my hair was dripping with water too..
I stood in the closet looking for the outfit I would wear today..
For some odd reason..I wanted to look good today..
I heard the door to the closet opened..and I knew someone stepped in..
I turned back to see the shirtless Adonis..I left on the bed..
"Erm..you could have allowed me finished dressing up before coming to do your business" I said rasing an eyebrow..
"You were taking forever..and need I remind you..some of us actually have work to do" he said..his hands in the pocket of his black sweat pants..
I scoffed..
"The work..to kill people?"
"Yes"he stated with a straight face..
A chill ran down my spine..
I cleared my throat..
"Well..just leave..I'm almost done" I said turning away from him..
He walked up behind me..really close..
He placed his hands on my shoulders..and whispered in my ears..
I felt hot by his sudden closeness
"You don't need to look good for me angel" he said..and I could see the smirk on his face through the mirror infront of us..
I jumped away from him..and scoffed
"Look good for you?..why would I want to do that?" I asked amused.
"Then why are you taking forever to just choose an outfit for the day?" He asked.. raising one of his eyebrows..
"Well..erm.." I was lost at words..
Yeah..why was I overthinking what I was going to wear?
Did I want to look good for him?
Definitely not!..
"I will just choose for you then" he said..moving closer to my wardrobe..
And searching through my cloths.
What the fuck is wrong with this guy??
"What is wrong with you..this morning?" I asked..making he stop..then turn to me..
"What do you mean?"
"You..you..are..behaving like.."I sighed..
I don't want to think about it
"Erm..just forget it" I said at last..looking away from him..
He stared at me for a while.. then turned back to search through my outfits..
"Hmm..wear this one" He said..turning back to me..
I stared at the outfit..it was honestly what I would have picked..
It was a sleeveless light blue flair short gown..
I cleared my throat..and collected the outfit..
He grinned..
"It's perfect for the day isn't it?"
"Hmm..yes..and I was already planning to wear this..so don't think I decided to wear it because of you" I said..
He chuckled..
"Okay..okay..fine" he said amused..walking over to the bathroom door..
"Be done before I come out..or else..Well.. " He said with a grin..
"No..no.i would definitely be done" I said..and he chuckled..then entered the bathroom..
I exhaled..I didn't even know I was holding my breath..
I sighed..
I changed into the outfit..I look good..
I packed my hair in a ponytail..but left some strands..
I applied lipgloss..a tiny sliver necklace and a short earrings..
Then complemented it with a white sandal flipflop..and vuala I was done..
I left the closet..and went downstairs..
Breakfast was set in the second floor dinning..and I met ivy there already eating..
"Good morning" I greeted her
"Ohh morning Selena" She said..looking up from her phone..I smiled in response
I sat down opposite her..and helped myself to some food..
Ivy was still busy typing away on her phone..
This isn't like Ivy..
"Erm..so Allison is gone?" I asked..
And she didn't reply..she was so focused on her phone..
"Ivy.." I called..still no reply..
"Ivy!..Selena has been trying to call you" Bella called behind us..
She snapped out of it..
"Huh?..Good morning Bella" she replied..not focused..
"What is good about the morning?..what is wrong with you Ives?" Bella asked..
"Erm..erm..it's nothing" she replied..clearly it was something..
I placed my hand gently on her hand which was placed on the table..
"What is wrong?..you know you can tell us right" I said softly..to her..
Then she broke down..and started sobbing..
"Hey..hey..." I said while standing up and moving to her side..I sat down beside her..and held her..
She cried into my shoulders..
"What is wrong ivy?" Bella asked worry lacing in her voice..
"Yeah..what happened?..tell us" I said patting her back.
"Er..it's.. its..m.."
"Shh..Shh.. calm down..and talk" Bella said softly..
She wiped her tears and sniffed..
"It's..er..it's Mike" she said..sobbing
"Mike?..who is Mike?" Bella asked confused..
Bella might be confused..but I'm not..it was Mike..the Mike she was dating when the information leaked about the item in Paris..
"Calm down..what happened?..what did he do?" I asked patting her..
"He..he is threatening to kill..me..if I don't meet his demands" she said and the tears came flooding back..
"What demands?!" His voice thundered through the room..
Ivy sat up straight..and I could feel how frightened she was..
Adonis banged his hand on the table..
"What demands?!..answer me ivy!"He growled..
"Calm down Adonis" I said..he didn't even spare me a glance..
"He..he wants us to go back to the way we were..and I should be feeding him the mafia secrets" she said breathless..
"I see..what is his name?"Adonis said..I could see the venom in his eyes..
This is bad..
"Vladimir.." she said
Vladimir??..I thought it was Mike
"Vald..what now?..a Russian?" Bella asked..
"Yes..his name is not Mike.. it's Valdimir..and.." she started but Adonis cut her off
"He is working for the Russian mafia!"Adonis completed..
Okay..this is way bad..
Russian?
Mafia?
"Yes" she said softly.. I patted her on the back..
Adonis exhaled sharply..and stormed out of the dinning room..
"Bella take care of her..I will be back" I said..following Adonis..
He entered his bar..on the third floor..I followed him in..
"Fuck!"He growled..clearing the glass cups and alcohols on the table..I winced
"Calm down Adonis..don't do anything crazy" I said..trying to calm him down
"Crazy?..my sister is being fucking threatened my some Russian freaks..right under my nose!" He growled..
"Is that what you care about?..your ego?" I asked crossing my arms..
He turned sharply to me..
I walked closer to him..
"I know you hate it..but you have to think about ivy..from the looks of things..it seems..Vladimir has been threatening her for a while..which is mentally derailing..so forget about your ego..and be there for your sister" I said..holding his hand..
Inspecting it..it was already pierced by a glass..
He calmed down..and exhaled..
"Fine..what should I do?..because the only thing I can think of..is reaping his head off his body" he said..his eyes still dark..
"Yeah..I know.. which you should do..but right now..you should go and assure ivy that you will take care of it" I said..patting his hand..then letting go..
"Then..you should take care of that"i said gesturing to his bloody hand..
He sighed..
"Okay.."
Then he walked pass me..then paused..
He looked at me..like..like
I don't know..
I gave him a small smile.. and he left for the dinning room..
I followed after him..

Nah..he was bad..like really bad at consoling..

Yeah..that was his way of reassuring and consoling..
It was pretty funny though..
But..ivy relaxed..she was pleased he atleast tried..
Adonis called Diego..and told him..
He rushed here as fast as he could..
And the way he was looking at ivy...
There is definitely something there..
He was also angry..really angry actually..
We all sat down at the living room..waiting for ivy to talk..so Adonis can know how to trace the Russian bastard..
Ivy was already calm..very calm actually..
"We met in Mexico..I just arrived a week before..he approached me..and was so sweet..I felt the Russian accent and features..but he told me he was America.. and his mother was actually Russian but she is dead " she said
"What a nice story" Bella commented..
"We started off as friends..then he suddenly kissed me one day.." I looked over to Diego..and I could see he tensed up "and he confessed his love to me..and we started dating..and he learnt a few things about the mafia" she said
"For how long?"Adonis asked.
"Six months"
"That gave him or them enough time to earn your trust" I commented..she nod..
"When you told him about the mafia..how did he react?" Diego asked composed..
"He said..he has met a few mafia gangs..and he is not surprise I know them..or I'm Adonis's sister"she replied..
"I thought making you travel around the world wouldn't let them get to you..I'm sorry ivy" Adonis apologised..
I turned to him..shocked..
He can actually apologise?
"No Adonis..I was so stupid"
"Where does he want to meet you?"Adonis asked..
"There is a pool party at a gathering..in Rome..he wants me to come there alone"
"Then you shall go alone then" Adonis said..
"What?" I asked surprised..
"When is the gathering?" He asked completing ignoring me..
"Tomorrow" she said..
"Okay..we will leave now..since we will have to reach Rome"Diego said
"Diego..alert the headquarters in rome of our arrival..call 15 mafia members.. there are going to go undercover and follow her..and we will go as a surprise guest"
"Right.." Diego said.. standing up to make the call..
"What are we going to do?"I asked..
"Nothing" he stated and left..
Nothing??
He went upstairs..I followed after him..
We entered the room..
He picked up his phone.. typing away..and making some arrangements I guess..
"I'm doing nothing?" I asked..he turned to me
"Yeah"
"Yeah?..Adonis I want to help..I can't just sit back and watch..especially when it's about ivy" I said..
"The mafia will take care of it..you don't have to worry Selena"
"I want to worry..I have helped ivy before and I want to help her again"
"That was because..it was a fashion runaway..there is nothing for you to do there" he said..
"Well..that reminds me..I'm worthless in the Mafia world or business" I spat..and walked away..
He stopped me before I could leave the room..
"You know you are very important Selena.." He said
"Oh am I?..you are right..there's nothing for me to do there..I can't fight in a dangerous situation or anything..the only thing I'm useful for is fashion" I said..
I sighed.. "Don't worry..just go" I said
"Selena.."
"Just go..I'm fine" I said and walked out of the room..

The car was already waiting for the three of them to depart..and 15 mafia members also waited outside..
"Boss" they greeted in unison..Adonis nod..
I recognise some of them..
Bella hugged ivy tightly and gave her some words of encouragement..
I hugged her too
"You will do great..don't be scared..remember Adonis is there to protect you" I said to her..
"Thanks..but why can't you just come with us please?" She asked..
"There is nothing for me to do there..so don't worry" I said with a smile..she nod..
Ivy and Deigo entered the car..
"We should be back in two days" Adonis said..
"Hm..okay"
We stared at eachother..
Bella groaned.."Just hug him already" she said..I turned to her..
"Bella!" I snapped..
Then Adonis pulled me into his arms..he enveloped me..his large arm around my small frame..
I relaxed in his arms..
I hugged him back too..taking in his cologne..
"We don't have all day" Diego said teasing from the car..
Adonis released me..but we were still close..then he whispered in my ears..
"I won't be long Angel"
I flushed red.."I don't care" I said..
He chuckled..then i went on tiptoe..to reach his level..Well barely reached his level..and.. I pecked him on the cheek..
And why the fuck did I do that??
"Be safe" I said to him..he nod..and
He released me..and entered the car..and they drive off..
"That seemed like lovers saying goodbye"Bella said beside me with taunting smile..
"No..we are not lovers..there is even nothing like love"i said rolling my eyes..
"Okayy..if you say so" She said..and entered the mansion..
Bella was right..
It looked like lovers saying goodbye..
We are definitely not lovers
Just buddies saying goodbye..
Yeahhh..buddies hug eachother tightly and also peck on the cheek..
Ohh..this is bad..
What's the point of the whole deal..if this is how we will act??
But..it's just so pleasant..
I sighed..and brushed strands of hair behind my ear..
Entering inside the mansion..I bumped into a guy..he was dressed like a guard..
"I'm very sorry ma'am" he said..
He then hurried away..
I have never seen that face around..
And he seemed suspicious..
Or I'm just overthinking this..
I brushed it off and entered the mansion..
