Rapunzel is seen, there is a house in the background. The edge of the yellow brick road can be seen
Rapunzel: That's right, you just take that one road, the whole time (waves to a person that can't be seen.) Oh, I hope they don't get lost. I'm so bad at giving directions.
Rapunzel sees the house she picks up some flowers and places them in front of the house
Rapunzel: Oh Willow
Varian appears
Varian: What a touching display of grief
Rapunzel: I don't think we have anything further to say to one other
Varian: I wanted something to remember her by, and all that is left were those shoes, and now that retched little farm girl has walked off with them. So I'd appreciate some time, alone, to say goodbye to my sister
Rapunzel backs away while Varian walks toward the house
Varian: Willow, please, please, please forgive me
Rapunzel: Var... you mustn't blame yourself. It's dreadful, it is, to have a house fall on you, but accidents do happen
Varian: You call this an accident?
Rapunzel: Yes! Well, maybe not an accident
Varian: Then what would you call it?
Rapunzel: Well... a regime change. Caused by a bizarre and unexpected twister of fate
Varian: Do you think cyclones just appear out of the blue?
Rapunzel: I don't know, I never really
Varian: No, of course you never! You're too busy telling everyone how wonderful everything is!
Rapunzel: I'm a public figure. People expect me to...
Varian: Lie?
Rapunzel: Be encouraging! And what have you been doing besides riding around on that filthy, old thing?
Varian: Well, we can't all come and go by bubble. Who's invention was that, Eugene's? of course, even if it wasn't I'm sure he'd still take credit for it
Rapunzel: Yes, well, a lot of us are taking things that don't belong to us, aren't we?
Varian: Now wait just a clock tick! I know it may be difficult for that blissful, blond brain of yours to comprehend that someone like her could actually choose someone like me! But it happened... it's real. You can wave that ridiculous wand all you want, you can't change it! She never belonged to you, she doesn't love you, and she never did! She loves me!
Rapunzel slaps Varian
Varian:(Cackles) Feel better now?
Rapunzel: Yes, I do
Varian: Good, so do I
Varian slaps Rapunzel. Rapunzel then twirls her wand skillfully and Varian arms himself with his broom. They both charge at each other and drop their "weapons" and beat each other senselessly. Rapunzel takes off Varian's hat and begins to wack him with it. The guards run in.
Guards: Halt, in the name of the Wizard
The guards grab Varian
Varian: Stop, let me go!
Rapunzel: I almost had him!
Stan: Sorry it took us so long to get here, Miss
Varian: I can't believe that you would sink this low! To use my sisters death as a trap to capture me?!
Rapunzel: I never meant for any of this to happen! Var!
Cassandra swings in on a rope
Cassandra: Let the green boy go!
Rapunzel: Cassandra, how in Carona?
Cassandra: I said let him go! Or explain to all of Carona how the Wizard's guards watched while Rapunzel the Good was slain
Rapunzel: Cass....
Cassandra: I said, let him go
The guards release Varian
Cassandra: Varian, go, now
Varian: No, not without you
Rapunzel: Cassandra, please
Cassandra: Hush! Now! Go!
Varian hesitates
Rapunzel: Do it!
Varian runs off
Stan: Seize her!
Rapunzel: Wait, what?! What are you doing? Stop it! In the name of goodness, stop! Don't you see? She wasn't going to harm me, she just... she just... she loves him
Cassandra: Raps, I'm so sorry
Stan: Take her up to that field there! Put her on one of those poles until he tells us where the Wizard went
The guards start dragging Cassandra away
Rapunzel: No, Don't hurt her! Please, don't hurt her! Cassandra!
