Hana pulls you out the cafe and down the street.
"Where are we going?" You ask.
"To follow Aimi... duh... didn't we go over this?" Hana replies.
"Yeah... but do we even know where Aimi is?" Hana stops walking when you ask that. She slowly turns to look at you.
"Oh..." Hana sighs and leads you towards a park. She approaches a bench and sits down sighing. "Dammit... I'm too hungry for all of this..." Hana groans, leaning back and closing her eyes.
"Why are you always hungry Hana?" You ask. Hana slowly looks at you and shrugs.
"My mother asks me the same thing. But no one knows why I'm always hungry. I've been like this since I was little." Hana says tying her shoes. "Actually, now thinking about it, I could have sworn you asked this question already..." Hana comments, looking at you.
"I asked this already?" You ask, rubbing your shoulder.
"Yeah... you seem to ask the same things honestly... You also changed a bit too. Aimi had said that too... that you're acting differently. After your mother passed away you had stopped talking to us. You yelled at us and smashed your phone, telling us you want no contact with us anymore. We left you alone afterwards... This was after you tried to commit. But a few days after we argued we decided to visit you since you weren't coming to school. Aimi wanted to force you to come to school... It was her idea." Hana pauses and look into the distance. "I was still angry at you for what you said to us but I was afraid to lose you so I went with Aimi... And when you opened the door... You were acting different... as if you don't remember what you said to us." Hana slowly looks at you. "I was confused... the way you act Isn't the same as how you used to be... You changed a lot... you became a lot quieter... I wanted to ask you Yuki... Are you really Yuki?" Hana asks looking at you with concern in her voice. That question startles you.
"W...What?" You quaver.
"Like... are you the same Yuki as before... did what happen to your mother change you... Ren said it could be brain damage that caused you to change after you almost died... Do you still remember us... just like how you used to? That's what I meant as are you really Yuki... You didn't actually change right? You aren't still suicidal... right? You won't hurt yourself again?" Hana's eyes started to become glossy. This is the first time she seemed really serious. "I really don't want to lose you Yuki... please don't think the way you did before... If you are hurting... You know we are here for you... Okay?" Hana sniffles. You slowly nod and she hugs you really tight. Now thinking about it... You aren't Yuki... But Yuki isn't really Yuki either... You are Yuki... But why are you Yuki?
You think about Aimi and Ren as Hana hugs you. Then you think about Eli. Your eyes widen when you realize.
"Hana..." You say, making Hana pull away from you. "I think I know where Aimi is..."
"You do? Where?" Hana asks.
"When I was with Eli earlier, the guy he was with said there's going to be a meeting at the shrine... Which means Ren is going to the shrine tonight. Also, Aimi was texting Ren... They must be meeting up... but I don't know where because I'm pretty sure it's not at the shrine." You imply.
"Oh... So then that means Aimi is at Ren's house..." Hana responds.
"Wait... what makes you say that?" You ask.
"Aimi has been going to his house a lot recently..." Hana replies. You raise an eyebrow.
"She has? Did she tell you that?"
"No..." Hana responds. You tilt your head to the side a bit, confused.
"Then how do you know this..." You ask, still puzzled. Hana hesitates to look at you and then she awkwardly smiles.
"It's not like I stalk Aimi or anything... Ha Ha... That would be totally weird..." Hana spluttered, rubbing her hands on her legs.
"Riiiiight..." You say slowly nodding. "Okay, let's go to Ren's house then..." You suggest, standing up.
"Go to his house and do what? She doesn't want us to be there... so If she finds out we followed her all the way there, then we are going to get scolded by her... and I really don't want to anger her right now..." Hana implies. You slowly nod and look out in the distance, thinking what to do.
"Then I'm stumped." You say sitting back down.
"We can follow her around... Maybe then we can figure out what she's hiding...?" Hana says.
"Yeah... but didn't you just debunk that idea?" You question.
"Yeah... but if we don't approach her but just follow her. Like when she goes into Ren's house we wait outside for her and when she leaves his house, we follow behind her." Hana suggests. You nod.
"Sounds like a good idea." You reply.
"Good... then lets go." Hana says standing up and holding out her hand to take your hand. You nod and take her hand. The two of you quickly walk towards the direction of Ren's house.
Once the two of you turned the corner of the street Ren lives on, the two of you see Ren and Aimi talking outside his house.
"OH..." Hana grabs you and pulls you back out of their view. "You can't let them know we are here... We almost got caught." Hana says. You nod and the two of you lean your heads to the side behind the wall the two of you are hiding behind. Ren and Aimi both walk into his house. Hana sighs and looks at you. "Now we wait for her to leave his house." Hana quietly bubbles, with a small smile on her face.
"What are you two doing?" You and Hana jump, turning to see who spoke. You both see Eli and Chifuyu.
"We meet again, Yuki..." Chifuyu bubbles. Hana leans over and whispers into your ear.
"Is that a guy from Toman... or did Eli really make a new friend...?"
"Toman..." You whisper back. Hana slowly nods her head.
"What are you two doing here... and why are you both hiding behind a wall." Eli asks.
"We are minding our business... Just like what you should be doing... Eli..." Hana replies. Chifuyu chuckles. Eli sighs and looks at you.
"What are you two doing here...?" He asks you. Hana squints her eyes.
"I JUST SAID-" The sound of a motorcycle roars as it approaches you all. Chifuyu and Eli turn to the noise and Hana squeezes your hand. The motorcycle stops. A guy with long jet-black hair that went down to his shoulders stops and turns to look at Chifuyu.
"You weren't answering your phone." The guy says to Chifuyu. Chifuyu pulls out his phone and sighs.
"Augh... my phone died..." Chifuyu sighs, putting his phone back into his pocket.
"Yeah... Who are they?" The guy asks motioning towards you and Hana.
"Eli's friends..." Chifuyu says smiling turning towards the two of you. "I only met Yuki... but I don't know who the other girl is."
"Hana..." Hana comments. Eli looks at both you and Hana in a disappointed way.
"Yuki and Hana..." The guy says fixing his sleeve. "I didn't know you were the type Eli..." The guy chuckles. Eli looks away.
"Ha Ha... I said the same thing..." Chifuyu chuckles.
"Who are you?" Hana asks. The guy looks at Hana still smiling.
"Keisuke... Keisuke Baji... but call me Baji." Baji say's putting his hands in his pockets.
"Oh. Nice to meet you." Hana says bowing. You notice she's shivering as she bows. Baji sighs and looks at you.
"Yuki... right?" Baji asks you, tilting his head to the right a bit. You nod. He nods too. "Have you heard of a person named V?" He asks. The fact he asked that question throws you off... Hana looks at you with a surprised look on her face. Baji notices.
"Yeah... I have heard of V..." You reply.
"Yeah? Have you met V before?" Baji asks. You shake your head. He slowly nods and looks at Hana. "What about you?"
"No... This is the first time I've heard about a person named V..." Hana replies. Baji nods again. Baji turns to Eli, smiling.
"I was actually going to ask you to bring Yuki with you tonight..." He says turning to look at you. "Join us for our meeting tonight... I want you to hear something." He adds. You look at Hana confused.
"I... uh..." You hesitate.
"I'm telling you to come... this isn't a question..." Baji says, in a stern tone.
"She can go... AFTER SHE HELPS ME STUDY..." Hana quickly implies, pulling you away and running towards Ren's house. Baji relaxes his face in an annoyed way.
"Why are you inviting her?" Eli asks. Baji looks at Eli.
"Don't ask me questions..." He huffs, glaring at Eli. "Chifuyu, make sure she comes... I have to meet up with Mikey." Baji says getting on his motorcycle. Chifuyu nods. Baji drives away. You and Hana watch Baji drive away as the two of you stand in front of Ren's house.
"Why does he want you to go tonight?" Hana asks looking at you with a concerned look on her face. You shrug. "AHHHHHH WHAT IF ELI TOLD BAJI!?!" Hana screams. Your eyes widen when Hana yells that.
"Don't be so loud Hana..." You quietly tell Hana.
"What if Eli told Baji what?" A voice says behind you two.
"AHHHHHH." Hana jumps up, turning around to see who said that. Chifuyu and Eli are walking towards the two of you. "Did you guys follow us?" Hana asks.
"Maybe." Chifuyu replies. Eli has a concerned look on his face.
"What did you mean when you said that earlier? When you said 'What if Eli told Baji'?" Chifuyu asks stopping in front of you two.
"Uh... If Eli told Baji that... He secretly has a crush on Yuki... IM SORRY ELI... I COULDN'T KEEP A SECRET... I TOLD YUKI AND AIMI YOU LIKE YUKI..." Hana shouts in a panicked tone.
"WHAT?" Eli shouts back. Chifuyu laughs.
"What-" Chifuyu chuckles. You look at Hana confused. Hana looks at you in shock.
"I HAVEN'T SAID THAT SINCE ELEMENTARY... WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT NOW?" Eli asks.
"Because it's still obvious that you like Yuki... You probably told Baji that to... Who wouldn't? Yuki is a hot girl, and you obviously want to show her off to your friends..." Hana implies crossing her arms and looking away. You look at Hana confused.
"What... NO... I don't like Yuki like that anymore." Eli says in a hesitant tone.
"GOOD... Yuki likes someone else... so... you should tell your Baji friend Yuki doesn't want to go to that stupid meeting..." Hana says pointing at Chifuyu. Chifuyu raises an eyebrow.
"I do?" You ask looking at Hana... Hana nods.
"Who?" Eli asks looking at both you and Hana.
"Ren." Hana responds.
"REN?" Eli says in confusion.
"Ren?" You question looking at Hana.
"ME?" Someone says behind you and Hana. Both you and Hana turn around to see Ren and Aimi standing with the door open.
"AHHHHH REN!" Hana jumps back into your arms. Ren looks at you confused and Aimi crosses her arms furrowing her eyebrows at you and Hana.
