Dried grass and varying rocky structures passed by as the bus drove on, it's engine purred lowly rumbling through the entire vehicle.

Finding yourself seated beside Kakyoin you couldn't help but lean back into the faux leather seat, one leg resting against the row in front while your injured leg laid out in the aisle as to not put much strain on it.

"Sorry that you have to babysit me." Absentmindedly musing that out you recalled how he'd carried you all the way to the bus proceeding afterwards to not only offer something to drink but also check up on how the wound was.

Drifting his gaze away from the window and towards where you sat, the edges of his lips curled into a soft smile, one that practically spoke volumes. "It's no problem really. I'd rather help as much as I can till we can get you proper help." Leaning back into his seat the redhead's gaze locked with your own. "Don't want it getting worse right?"

"I mean I don't think it's too bad..." Your words trailed off as you noticed the look he was giving you, one that a knowing mom would typically give their sick child who'd been trying to convince them they were fine. "Thank you though. I really appreciate it." Turning your head away from the redhead you nodded your head as well.

Allowing his gaze to linger across the side of your face for a second or two more they trailed back out the window seeing that the bus was beginning to near a large red bridge. "Hey, It's coming into view."

"The city of Varanasi." At the mention of the city your eyes trailed out the window towards the various buildings, each had their own unique look to them all the while still maintaining an appearance that fit with the surrounding scenery.

Soon enough the bus pulled up to a stop and your group shuffled out onto the sidewalk, you of course using Kakyoin to support yourself since you felt embarrassed about needing to be carried everywhere.

Seeing Joseph turn in place holding his arm, Jotaro quirked a brow, "What's wrong? Gramps, you feeling okay?"

"It looks like my bug bite is getting infected." Turning he motioned towards his arm showing a pink coloured mound, something that made your nose scrunch up.

"It's definitely swollen. You should get that checked before it gets worse." Musing that out Kakyoin's gaze traveled across the 'bite', one of his hands coming up to rest beneath his chin in thought.

Leaning over to look at the old man's arm as well, Polnareff stared at it for a good few seconds, "You know, doesn't it kind of look like a face?" Hearing him point that out you yourself couldn't help but agree.

"Hey, don't joke like that Polnareff." Scolding the man Joseph shook his head before adding on, "I'll get this checked out and also get (Y/N) properly patched up." Gesturing towards where you stood he offered out his other hand knowing that you might need the assistance.

"Do you need someone to carry you?" Asking that before you fully left his side Kakyoin's eyes focused down on you, concern was clear within his tone of voice.

Raising a hand you faintly patted the green clad man's arm flashing him a reassuring smile, "I think I'm alright, it doesn't hurt as much as before and some walking will get the blood flowing again." Insisting on that you watched him bob his head in understanding.

Taking Josephs extended hand and beginning to part from the group you waited a second or two before releasing the man's hand. A questioning look was shot your way before his eyes trailed down towards your leg seeing that it appeared much better than before.

"Wait a minute, I thought you got stabbed through the leg?" Raising a brow and pointing down towards the still red bandage he blinked a few times seeing the way you walked nearly effortlessly beside him, his brain was confused.

"I was, but I'm also trying something." Musing that out you shifted your weight from one foot to the other settling on remaining on your good one. The older man's raised brow didn't seem to leave his face and you found yourself adding on. "Have you ever heard that a cat's purring can promote healing?"

"I have," Nodding his head faintly at what you were saying he pursed his lips together. "But what does that have to do with you?"

"I'm testing out my Stand, I want to see if I can heal something by sending a different current of vibration through them, or in this case me." Explaining that you watched the pieces click in his mind, it made more sense now as to why your hand seemed to shake faintly in his own.

You were clever, that's for sure. But why you hadn't mentioned it to anyone was beyond him.

"How come you don't talk about what your stand can do? I mean, that thing nearly scared the life out of me this morning." Recalling how your dark looming Stand yelled out this morning Joseph shuddered faintly. It wasn't that the stand itself was scary, it was the sudden appearance of it that scared him.

"Because I don't want to make a definite decision on what it could potentially do until I know for sure it can do it."

You had a fair point with that statement, he understood that saying and doing something are two completely different things and it was understandable that you wanted to get different uses of your Stand down before definitively saying what it could do.

"That's smart," Musing that out his words were followed by a faint chuckle. "You always were the smart one."

At that you couldn't help but roll your eyes at the comment, in no way were you smart- just resourceful.

"So does that mean you're the dumb one?" You couldn't help but play into what he'd said, your tone of voice coming out teasing and your expression was pulled into a playful smile.

"I never said that!"

"But you implied it," There was a playful lith to your tone and the words came out in a sing-song fashion. "But that's alright I won't hold it against you. It's the age, right Mr.Joestar." Laughter left your lips right after the last comment and you could hear Joseph let out a groan at what you'd said.

"God you out of everyone else make me feel like I'm decades old- even when I'm technically younger than you." An accusing finger was raised pointing towards you, though you simply stuck your tongue out at him in retaliation.

A sudden thought occured to you at his words though.

"Oh, Polnareff knows about the whole death thing now by the way." Moving to lace your hands behind your back you could see Joseph slow his pace, the man waiting for you to continue. "He said it must've been lonely, which I agreed with, and then he pointed out how I'm fated to be tangled with your family- well that was basically what he said."

"It seems like it huh. Always stuck with us Joestars." There was a certain feeling of pride in saying that even if he himself was unable to pursue anything with you, it was just in the fact that no matter what life- you'd be there.

"Seems like it, but also just imagine- like back when I was with Jonathan and Dio they both proposed to me- what if I accepted one of them? I could've been your great aunt or something."

As soon as the words registered in his head Joseph stopped walking, the man turning fully to face you with a look between surprise and disbelief.

"I'm sorry but- Proposed?! Good lord, maybe I'm glad you died- no offence." "None taken"

The conversation died down into a still silence before the man decided to ask a question that popped into his head. "Say, if you don't mind me asking, how did you die back then?" Continuing to walk after asking that he watched you mull over what to say.

"Well, I got turned into a vampire, confessed to again then just sorta- in the sun." before adding the 'in the sun' bit you wiggled your fingers through the air before making a small explosion motion, signifying that you'd fizzled away in the sun.

"Do you remember the last thing you said to him? My grandfather I mean?"

Turning your head towards Joseph you couldn't help but raise a brow, the question was fine but you wondered what made him curious about such a thing. "Why? Jealous that he got to hear my final words?" There was a bittersweetness to your tone and you couldn't help but crack a smile.

"In another life. I'll see you again in another life. Dramatic I know but what else was I supposed to say? I was fizzling away in the sun and Jonathan was still trying to hold me..." Trailing off with that you sucked in a breath before turning your head towards Joseph. "Guess it wasn't that bad of a thing to say, I mean I'm still with his family and to say I haven't fallen for you all would be a lie."

"What about when you died with me?"

Pivoting on one foot to the other you spared him a smile, "I told Stroheim to take care of you and Caesar for me."

A low hum left him once you'd finished, he hadn't expected the conversation to take quite a turn but he also couldn't help but fuel his curiosity. Though your answers did elaborate on a few things for him, such as why Dio had such a deep rooted fascination with you.

"I'm sorry you went through that."

Right away you shook your head at the man, hand reaching out to take his own even if it was metal and he couldn't feel much besides the buzz of your stand. "Don't apologize. I like to believe things happen for a reason, and even if you're old and musty now I still got the opportunity to reunite with you."

Staring down at you he couldn't help but feel his heart swell, sure he was a married man who was a happy father of one.

But he'd never forget the first person to ever make him feel the way you did.

"You're something else, you know that? Something different and everyone loves that about you." Even still him.

Honestly the cat purring bit was an inside joke between myself and a friend XD

Also lemme explain rq- Soundwaves/sound has the capability to produce vibrations at a certain frequency (Ex. you're listening to music in a car really loud and can feel the bass) Through that idea and through the common wives tale of a cats purring being able to promote the natural healing of the body (Along with some jojo magic to put emphasis on that) I came up with- what is essentially Y/N's purring healing ability!

Hope that makes sense :')
