Bio: Ian Is a naturally born werewolf shapeshifter hybrid, he grew up hidden from the Volturi. Since he was something that was supposed to be a myth and legend, he wasn't supposed to exist nor was his younger brother Shawn.
Ian grew up as bit of an outlaw, his parents weren't around a lot and he spent most of his time raising his younger brother. Him and his brother Shawn, lived a pretty peaceful life with their parents only having each other when their parents weren't around, since both of their parents worked.
His mother was a naturally born werewolf herself, but had a bit of vampire in her. And his father was a shape shifter, like the tribe. However though, Ian and his family would eventually have to go on the run from the Volturi, after getting rat'ed out by a anonymous vampire to the Volturi.
So Ian moved with his family from Italy to forks, hoping to start over and live a normal life, but the Volturi had found them once again and wanted the whole family killed for committing a crime amongst their own kind. Jane and her brother, along with aro wanted them all killed accept for Ian, because he wasn't in the house at the time, he went to go see his uncle Billy Black.
Ian came back to find his family dead and their bodies burned, from that day forward he vowed to never respect or trust the Volturi, because after that day he spent a lot of his time moving locations til he ended up right back in forks and taken in by Sam as a pack member.
So he pretty much became a protecter of the pack and of forks, he acts very protective over his family and over the Cullens after his friend/ cousin Jacob Black imprints on Bella and Edwards daughter.
