"Ms Jennie, Mrs Jung said that she would like you down in 20 minutes for breakfast" a maid said knocking at my bedroom door
"Tell her that I have no interest in joining them for breakfast" I shout from my bed
"Please miss, otherwise Mrs Kim will come" the maid
"Ugh fine" I said groaning
I stood up, leaving my comfy bed behind
Walking to my closet, I grabbed the first thing that came in contact to my hand
It's a comfy white dress
Before hoping in the shower I looked in the mirror,
My eyes look puffy from all the crying last night
After a warm shower and getting dressed, I brushed my hair
And left my room
Getting down the stairs i walked to our dining table
Only to find mom and dad already there
Without saying anything or greeting them, I sat there in silence
"Mr Kim and his family will be comming over tonight for dinner
We'll be deciding a few necessary things for your wedding" Dad said,
I didn't respond, I just looked down at my plate
"Jennie, wear a nice dress and look presentable
We need you to be on your best behavior
Do you understand ?" Mom
"Yes mom" I quietly responded without looking at them
"Good girl" mom
After breakfast I am in my room when my phone rang
I checked the call ID, it is my manager Alice
I work as a model,
That's what I've always wanted to be
I picked the call
"Hey"
[Hi Jennie, I wanted to inform that you have to come to office today for try on for the photo shoot you have this Thursday]
"Umm...Alice actually I won't be able to come today,
Can we shift my today's schedule to tomorrow"
[I can surely do that, but why not today ?]
"It's kind of hard to explain like this, I'll tell you everything tomorrow"
[Ok, but you're fine right ?]
"Yeah...I guess"
[Alright, so I'll meet you tomorrow at 11am]
"Okay and thanks"
[Bye Jen]
"Bye"
I guess I should pick a dress for dinner

I am in my office checking some files,
Just got finished from a meeting few minutes ago
"Taehyung there's a good news" it is Jungkook, who just barged in
"Next time I expect you to knock before entering" I say without looking at him
"Whatever,
By the way I came here to inform you that we're going to meet your soon to be wife tonight
Mom was going to call and inform you, but I was already heading to office
So I thought why not I give you this news myself" Jungkook
"Oh come on atleast show any sort of emotion on your face, you look like a rock" Jungkook
"Are you done ?, because if you are then get back to work" I said still not paying him much attention
"Dude you serious" Jungkook
"Leave"
"But-"
"I said Leave"
"Ugh fine,
But get home at time, don't be late"
"Hmm, now get out" I said and Jungkook walked out of my office,
Knowing well that making me angry won't be good for him
"Going on dinner at Mr Jung's house
What a waste of time" I said to myself and shifted my focus back on the files I was reading

This is what I'm wearing-
This is what I'm wearing, it's cute and comfortable
Taehyung and his family should be here anytime
I hope they remember any important work and cancel this dinner
But I really doubt that this is going to happen
After about 5 minutes the door bell rang
Indicating they are here
My mom opens the door for them
My parents greet Mr and Mrs Kim, I also greet them and Taehyung's younger brother Jungkook
But Taehyung isn't here
"Where's Taehyung ?" Dad said after noticing that he isn't here
"He's on his way, he is comming directly from office, will be here in few minutes"
"Oh here he is" my mom said as Taehyung walked in
He greated my parents
I also forced a smile on my face to greet him, but the fucking audacity this guy has as he completely ignored my presence,
Like hello, I'm the one your getting married to if you remember
We are all having dinner
Taehyung is sitting opposite to me, his dark aura surrounding him
Only his mere presence is enough to send chills down my spine
Can't believe that I'm getting married to this man
"Don't mind my brother he's like this only" Jungkook who is sitting next to me whispered
"You mean like a devil" I whisper back
"Honestly...yess"
His reply made us both chuckle
It seems like Taehyung noticed our bickering as he looked at me, expressionless
My parents were continuesly talking to Taehyung and I'm not even bothering to listen what they are talking about
While I am somewhere lost in my dream land
Mrs Kim starts a conversation with me
"So Jennie you work as a model" Mrs Kim
"Yes, I do"
"Why modeling though, ever thought of getting in family business ?"
"Modeling is just something I've always dreamed of doing since I was very young and honestly I never thought of business
I'm not really someone who will do something because it's a family lineage or it earns you alot of money
Rather I'd like to do something I really enjoy doing"
"True, everyone should do what they enjoy doing" Mr Kim
"That's why we've always supported our daughter in all her decisions and we never forced her to do anything she dosent like" Dad
Oh dad what a wonderful liar you are,
Yeah you clearly never forced me into anything
Getting married to a stranger is totally my choice
It makes me want to laugh, seeing how fake my parents can be
Just for some extra reputation and money
While I was thinking about all this Mr Kim spoke
"So it's final,
They're getting married in a month" Mr Kim
"Yeah completely final,
Taehyung are you fine with it ?" dad
Taehyung only nodded in response
Normally my dad would get very angry when someone dosent reply to him properly
But giving the fact that Taehyung is the one he is talking to
He just smiles
Looks like you only have a month of your life left Jennie
"Jennie dear why are you so quiet ?
If it all seems too fast to you we can extend the date" Mrs Kim said
I really wanted to agree with her,
But then I noticed my mom glaring at me
As if she would bury me alive
"No-no I'm alright with it"
"Great then,
Everything's fixed" my mom said
I feel my eyes getting teary
I look down hoping that no one notices
A tear slipped down, I quickly wiped it away
Then I looked up only to find Taehyung already looking at me
He noticed my tears
I turned my head away, trying not to make any sort of eye contact
So this was end of this chapter
