It's this time for the year - Ash's birthday!
As usual, here are my gifts 🫶🫶
1/ Ash is born on May 10th. He is 34 years old at the beginning of DTR. Ash's sign is Taurus (and Karlyle is Capricorn).
2/ In Egg Benedict, Ash's colleagues called him "Mr. Alpha Universe". Somebody even exclaimed " If there was a beauty contest for Alphas, Ash would hold that title until he died." (Lol Ash and his deadly visual)
3/ Ash and Karlyle's wedding day is May 9th, one day before Ash's birthday (Awww).
4/ Ash studied at Saint Martin University.
5/ Ash is a designer and he has won a lot of awards. He and his colleague Mackenzie own a studio named <<Unexpected>>.
6/ Ash has a cat's tongue. He isn't good at drinking hot things (but he can "drink" Karlyle lol).
7/ He isn't good at holding his liquor. It is said in the AU that when he's drunk, he'll smile out of control 🤣
8/ Ash loves desserts. He is a big fan of sweets. And of course, he's a good cook.
9/ Ash's pheromone is a soft, refreshing and woody scent. His pheromones will turn heavily sweet when he's in rut.
10. Ash doesn't like sleeping on other people's bed or letting others sleep on his bed for more than one day (Lyle is his only exception)
11/ It is stated once that Ash is "scared" of swans since he used to be chased by them when he was small.
12/ Ash doesn't care much about money. He can live well even if he doesn't have much money.
13/ When he and Karlyle fight, he'll always apologize first. He tends to apologize even though it's sometimes not necessary. Neither of them will hurt the other person physically in this situation.
14/ Ash sucks at games using cards.
15/ He is very good at noticing changes in people. A very considerate and attentive person.
16/ He has a painful childhood. It isn't mentioned in the original storyline, but in the AU, Ash's dad was also a designer. So in some ways, Ash has followed his father's career.
17/ Ash talks a lot when he's with Karlyle, but he doesn't when being with others.
18/ Ash is usually the driver when he and Karlyle go out. He sometimes jumps the traffic light, but overall, he's a safe driver.
19/ Ash is a fan of Tottenham. Meanwhile, Karlyle prefers Chelsea (actually Karlyle doesn't have much interest in football, he prefers Chelsea as he's doing business in this area. But the main reason is that he's an aristocrat. He's willing to switch to Tottenham with Ash anyway haha 😂😂)
20/ Ash is very strong and can learn things fast. He has never learned martial arts or attended fighting classes, but he will most likely win in a fist fight.
21/ Ash has a nice singing voice. His tone is soft bass and a little husky.
22/ The author once wrote a short story about Ash losing his memory and forgetting about Lyle, his husband (I will translate it in the tidbit section later)
23/ The unexpected aspects of Lyle the baby rabbit (a 185cm Alpha) that Ash has experienced:
> He tried the water Lyle was drinking, but it turned out to be vodka (and he coughed in surprise)
> They went to a shooting range. Karlyle hugged Ash from behind and corrected his posture.

24/ After they started dating, Ash has been working out with Karlyle. They go running together in the morning.
25/ Ash posts his works on Behance! He also has Instagram and Pinterest. He only post work-related stuff, but before he dated Lyle, he sometimes uploaded pictures of himself. So he has a lot of followers!
(About Lyle, he doesn't use social medias. But after dating Ash, he has his secretary made an account for him to stalk Ash 😂)
26/ If Ash and Karlyle go car racing, Ash'll get motion sickness because Karlyke tends to drive at high speed.
27/ Ash's house before married was in Notting Hill. In Egg Benedict, he said that he liked this location because it sounded romantic.
28/ Kyle's child Kara, a dominant Alpha, is very wary of Ash, a same Alpha. Whenever she sees him, she'll stare at him. (But both Kyle's children loves Lyle. Like father like daughter haha 🤣🤣 Kyle also loves Lyle and hates Ash)
29/ A little fact about Natalie, Ash's big sis: Natalie is 40 years old. She used to be a chef at a restaurant before she opened her own. Her restaurant is very famous in Soho.
She didn't care about getting married until she met her husband. Her husband is an Omega male named Clark. He has red hair and a little freckles on his face.
30/ Ash's maternal grandparents are not mentioned much in the original storyline. But in the AU, their names are revealed to be Cloud Pollet and Yvonne Pollet.
31/ Ash's hair is black, but it turns brown under the sun.
32/ Ash often sleeps top naked (you can see this in the manhwa and the novel)
33/ In the novel, Karlyle describes Ash as a cute puppy and a gentle sheep.
34/ After marriage, Ash takes his husband Lyle's last name
