"Hey, blushing beauty."
As Keefe tried to wrap his arm around Sophie's shoulders, she ducked beneath it and shoved him.
"I'm not blushing."
Struggling to regain his balance, he laughed. "Yes you are."
Sophie placed her hands on her hips, agitated, but Keefe merely grabbed her forearms and pulled her to his chest.
"You know," he said, smirking, I'd kiss you, but then you'd blush even harder."
Freeing herself from his grasp, Sophie looped her arms around his shoulders. Lifting her lips, she muttered, "I'll hedge my bets."
