"How do you know if she'll even like me?" You asked your friend Abigail, who was helping you get ready.

Today, she's introducing you to one of her other friends, who apparently keeps asking about you.

Abigail has brought you up in conversation a few times with this particular friend and she's shown your picture to her as well and her friend has quite the crush on you.

"Trust me, Y/N. She has a huge crush on you."

You took a look in the mirror, having just finished getting ready.

You weren't dressed to the nines but you wanted to make a good impression.

"It's time to get back out into the dating world. Not all relationships are bad. There's someone for everyone. What if she's your soulmate?"

You took a deep breath and looked at your friend.

She has a good sense of judgment so you trust her when it comes to something like this.

But you're just a little nervous because this is your first date in months and your last relationship ended badly.

But you know not everyone is like your ex and Abigail was right; you never know where this night could lead.

"Okay. I'm ready. I look okay, right?"

"Better than okay, you're beautiful!" Abigail said, trying to make you feel as confident as possible.

You walked out of her bedroom and down the stairs of her house.

"She'll be waiting for you at the restaurant. Everything's going to be fine. Good luck."

You shared a quick hug before you left and headed out for your first date in what seemed like ages.

You arrived at the restaurant and you stepped inside before looking around.

Your eyes met a pair of beautiful and bright blue ones across the room.

"Y/N?" She called out.

You walked to her as you realized that this was the friend Abigail wanted you to meet.

But she left out a huge detail - it was Taylor Swift.

You wondered if this was some kind of trick.

But you've known Abigail for quite some time and she'd never do something like that to you.

"Hey!" Taylor smiled as she stood up. "I'm Taylor. It's so nice to finally meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Y/N, but... you know that already since you called out for me."

Taylor nodded her head as you sat down across from her, chuckling.

"I'm so happy you're finally here. I've been waiting."

"Did I keep you waiting long? I'm so sorry, traffic was a pain and-"

"No, no." She said as she shook her head at you. "I didn't mean that. I meant I've been waiting for a while to meet you. Abigail talks about you all the time and then I saw you in one of her pictures on her phone and I was just like... wow. She's stunning."

Your cheeks turned red and a shy giggle fell from your lips.

"I'm so happy we could finally meet." You said.

"Me too. You're even more gorgeous in person."

"Yeah? You are too."

She smiled brightly and passed you a menu.

"Order whatever you want. It's my treat."

"I can pay for my meal, it's okay. This place is so expensive."

"I know, I picked it out specifically for you because I wanted to take you somewhere nice. So, please, let me treat you."

There was something special about her already.

You were so hesitant before arriving when it came to meeting someone new and starting a new relationship but... you can't deny that you like her already.

You feel butterflies in your chest when she smiles at you or giggles.

You like her already.

So, you agreed and let her pay your part.

The rest of the meal went well; you shared a nice meal and a drink or two before planning a date.

A real date.

She picked you up a couple of nights later and took you out to your favorite place and then out for a walk in the moonlight.

And when she dropped you off that night... you shared your first kiss with her.

It was when you got out of her car together and walked up the steps to your house.

She was holding your hand and you didn't want her to pull away.

"Thank you for an amazing night, Taylor. It means a lot."

"You're welcome. You deserve it." She said as she stared into your eyes. "Can I... can I kiss you?"

"Yes." You replied as your breath hitched when your eyes landed on her lips.

You closed them a second later as she leaned in and gave you a soft, sweet kiss.

It was romantic and sweet and, quite possibly, the best kiss you've ever had.

"I have one more question for you." She said. "Would you be mine? Be my girl."

Before meeting her, you didn't ever think you'd find someone you cared about like this.

But you have and you've fallen so hard for Taylor, even though you haven't known her long.

You've learned a lot about her and every second you spend with her, you find yourself finding something new to appreciate and adore.

So... you said yes.

"I'd love to be your girl, Taylor."

She smiled from ear to ear and gave you another kiss, this time a longer one.

But she pulled away before either of you could get too carried away because it was much too soon for that.

"I'll text you goodnight, okay?" She said.

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye, pretty." She smiled and let your hand go as she got back into her car you went inside your house, smiling bigger than ever before.

Things with Taylor just got better from there.

Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for you.

She took you out on your second, third, fourth, and fifth dates.

By the time your fifth date came around, it had been a couple of months that you'd been together.

But somehow, she still managed to keep you out of the public eye.

That was until that night.

Someone had spotted her holding your hand and giving you kisses and leaked your location.

When you exited the restaurant, paparazzi and fans were everywhere.

And that's the first time you were bombarded.

Taylor kept her arm tightly wrapped around you as she guided you through the chaos and tried to comfort you.

Thankfully, you made it into the car without either of you being harmed, though words had been shouted by Taylor towards everyone when they got too close.

But Taylor was quiet as she pulled off to an empty parking lot away from everything.

She put the car in park and hung her head.

"Taylor, is everything okay?"

"I don't know." She said. "Is it?"

"What do you mean?"

"That wasn't too much for you back there? That's my life, Y/N. That's always going to be there. I can't escape it."

"So?"

"Doesn't it freak you out? Doesn't it overwhelm you?"

"No." You said softly as you took her hand. "Because I have you."

She smiled a little as you brushed your thumb across her cheek.

"I just care about you, Taylor. I know a lot comes along with your life but I don't care. It's not going to scare me away. I'm here to stay."

You kissed her lips reassuringly and she set her forehead against yours.

And that's when she realized it... she loved you.

She kept that to herself though because she worried it was too soon to say those words.

But one night, as you cuddled on her sofa and played with her fingers, it slipped out.

"I love you, Y/N."

You turned your gaze quickly to stare at her in awe.

"I'm sorry if it's too soon or if you don't feel the same way yet but I had to say it. I can't hold back. I love you."

You were silent for a moment, just staring into her eyes before a big grin pulled at your lips.

"I love you too."

You shared a few sweet kisses as she intertwined your fingers together, knowing that this was the happiest she'd ever been.

Your relationship just seemed to blossom more and more from there.

The months went by until your fourth one came around.

And that's when another milestone occurred.

You had been making out in your bed but until that night, you never took things further.

You just kissed.

But tonight, you both seemed to want more.

"Tay?"

"Yes, darling?" She whispered as she pulled away from the kiss. "Can we... take this further?"

"Are you sure you're ready for that? We don't have to, my love. If you're rushing because you think I'm impatient-"

"I'm not rushing. I'm ready. I want to take that next step with you. I want... I want you to make love to me."

Taylor's eyes sparkled and she brushed a lock of hair behind your ear as she lovingly stared at you.

"I'd love that more than anything."

You kissed again and this time, things got heated.

But it wasn't overly passionate. It wasn't lustful.

It was loving and romantic as she brought you over the edge a few times and made you feel things that you'd never felt before.

It was perfect and you were so happy that she was the first one to make you feel that way.

Of course, though, it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine.

You did have your ups and downs in the relationship.

You did argue, just not often.

But one night, you grew jealous over someone flirting with Taylor when you were out on your date.

She had just sat there and let it happen, claiming that she didn't even notice.

But you thought that was bogus.

And it started an argument between you.

"I already told you, Y/N! I didn't notice her flirting. I'm sorry you're upset. But all I see is you."

You calmed down a little and stared at the floor in silence.

"Is this more than just jealousy? I'm tired of arguing. I love you too much for that."

She walked to you and brushed her fingers across your arms.

"Sometimes I worry you'll find someone else and that I'm not enough for you. I just worry that you'll realize there's better out there."

"That's crazy." She said as she lifted your chin, making you stare into her eyes. "There's no one better than you, my love. I mean that wholeheartedly. I love you and only you, no one else."

"Promise?"

"I promise, baby. You're my girl, there's no one else for me. I love you so much and no one can change that."

You shared a few sweet kisses and hugs as your worries and insecurities faded and the argument came to an end.

Time seemed to fly by after that.

But you enjoyed every second with Taylor.

You made so many memories over the following year as she wrote you songs, had you attend her shows, and traveled on the road with her.

You went to arcades, museums, award shows, beaches, and aquariums, and fell even more in love with each other.

It was just magical; every second spent with her.

But Taylor fell so in love with you that she bought you a ring and gathered up the courage to propose to you one night.

It was when she was on tour, performing Lover, the first dance version.

As it came to the part of the song where she sang about a wedding, she had you come up on stage, and she sang every word while staring into your eyes.

But then, as the song came to an end, she instantly knelt on one knee in front of you.

The crowd screamed and Taylor stared at you through the blur of her tears, and you cried like a baby as all of your dreams came true right then and there.

"I love you more than anything in the world. You're the best thing to ever happen to me and I want to spend forever with you. So, my beautiful girl, will you marry me?"

"Yes!" You happily shouted.

You shared a kiss as she slipped the ring on your finger and then hugged her tight as the song played once more.

But instead of singing, you and Taylor just slow danced around on the stage, holding each other right as you both let happy tears fall from your eyes and shared words of love.

The day of your wedding came around quickly.

And when Taylor saw you walk down the aisle, she fell to her knees and cried as she became overwhelmed with love.

You got married in a garden with your friends and family around and, of course, Abigail was part of the wedding as she was the reason that this all happened in the first place.

You wrote your own vows and so did Taylor and you read them off to each other with tears in your eyes.

Waiting for everything to be over and official was hard for Taylor because, more than anything, she wanted to kiss you.

But she waited... impatiently.

Until the words were announced.

"You may kiss your bride."

Taylor grinned before pulling you in for a loving kiss; your first one as a happily married couple.

Marriage with Taylor was incredible.

She was busy for the first few months but things started to slow down a little as you began to try for a baby.

It was something you both wanted very badly but waited for when the time was right.

You both thought it might take a few tries of IVF to successfully get pregnant but you were wrong and on the first try, the tests came up positive.

Telling Taylor was one of the best moments of your life.

You surprised her after a long day in the studio and to say that she was overjoyed was a major understatement.

She cried and kissed your stomach and swore that she'd be there by your side every step of the way.

And you knew she was right; she absolutely would.

Pregnancy was full of ups and downs for you.

You were still thrilled to be having a baby but the things that came along with being pregnant weren't so fun at times.

Such as morning sickness; oh, that was terrible.

You cursed the person up and down that named it that because morning sickness? No, it was all day for you.

You could hardly keep anything down and that was very worrying for Taylor.

Not to mention, it broke her heart to see you sick.

However, with time, it passed.

But then, you experienced other things like delightful mood swings.

One second, you were laughing and smiling then the next you were crying in her arms as she comforted you.

It could be caused by something like comments on the internet to something such as those sad commercials that play off those animals.

Other times, you just felt moody and sad and Taylor would just hold you tight and give you love and promise that soon, this would pass just like the morning sickness had.

Taylor had always been so loving and affectionate but it changed during your pregnancy; she was even more affectionate than usual.

She loved watching your bump grow. She'd give it kisses and she'd talk to the baby, as well as read them stories.

She made sure you got whatever you craved, no matter what.

And when it came time to find out the gender, you both passed and decided to be surprised instead.

She made sure to spoil you with maternity clothes, she spoiled the baby with all the gender-neutral clothes and items she could get her hands on.

And by spoiled, I mean she went all out, spending thousands and thousands on buying the baby all of the things she saw that she hoped they'd love.

She decorated the nursery.

It was undeniably one of her favorite parts of the pregnancy.

She had her mom, dad, and brother help but she did quite a lot on her own.

She just needed help with the furniture, mostly.

But when it was all put together and fully decorated, she made sure she showed it to you immediately.

"What do you think?" She asked as she pulled her hands away from your eyes.

She held you close in her arms, brushing her hand across your bump as you stared at the nursery in awe.

It was everything you had dreamt of and it was gorgeous.

"I love it. Thank you so much, Tay," You said as you kissed her, tearing up a little.

"You're welcome. I enjoyed every second of it." She smiled. "I'm proud of how it turned out."

"You should be. It's perfect and the baby is going to love it."

You shared a few kisses before going back to bed.

The day came before you knew it.

The moment the pain hit, you knew it was time.

"Taylor?" You said as you stared at her, looking into her soft blue eyes.

She'd just been curled up beside you, getting ready for bed but not quite there yet.

"I think it's time."

She immediately grabbed the bag and helped you into your shoes before getting you to the car, knowing your lives were about to change forever.

It was exhausting and it seemed as though your baby was in no hurry to be born.

They took their time, dragging it out for an entire nine hours before it was time to bring them into the world.

The whole time, through the entire process, Taylor was right there with you.

She held your hand and even let you place your knee against her as you worked so hard to bring your baby into the world.

There were moments of doubt about halfway through as you panicked and second-guessed yourself, wondering if you could do this if your body could do it.

And Taylor was so quick to comfort you.

"I don't think I can." You sniffled.

"You're wrong, baby. I know you can." She said as she brushed your hair away from your sweaty forehead. "Our baby is almost here, they're so close to being born now. You've got nothing to be afraid of. I'm still right here with you, darling, and I'm not going anywhere."

She encouraged you and watched everything happen with bright eyes full of pride and love.

She cheered you on, happily being your biggest cheerleader as she always is.

And when your baby was finally born and was placed on your chest, she gave you the sweetest kiss as tears fell from her eyes.

"Oh my god, Y/N, baby! How did you do that? You're so incredible, I'm so amazed by you!" She said as she grinned from ear to ear. "You just had a baby, my baby."

You stared at the precious baby on your chest... your daughter.

"We've got a little girl, Tay," You cried.

"We do, and she's perfect, just like you."

Life was, somehow, even more, amazing from that moment on.

Once you brought your little girl home, despite the lack of sleep and your aching body, you enjoyed every second of motherhood with Taylor.

So much so that as time passed, after an entire year, you and Taylor started trying for another baby.

And you were granted yet another opportunity to expand your family.

That pregnancy was much different from your first.

You were both much more at ease and confident with it.

You weren't as sick, though you were more tired than before.

But still, you and Taylor remained amazing parents to your daughter who was a year old, whom you'd named Luna.

Being pregnant while taking care of a one-year-old was challenging at times but Taylor was there by your side through it all, as always.

You shared many heartwarming moments.

Such as Taylor writing songs for you and the family you'd made together instead of only you.

You watched Luna grow and take her first steps.

But one thing Taylor was very adamant about was keeping your babies out of the public eye, so in any and all photos she always placed little heart emojis over Luna or would have her face away from the camera.

It was the same way with your newest addition to the family, your little boy Jack.

And then, the other additions to your family that followed years later, your other daughter and son.

In total, the life you and Taylor made together included four precious little angels and you and Taylor made sure they had the happiest childhoods possible.

You kept them out of the public eye the best you could, though that became harder to do the older they got.

But you were always a very happy and loving family.

Even as the kids grew up, you had movie and game nights.

You and Taylor helped them with their homework, and you both attended every important meeting and dance.

When they were young, you both read them stories, sang them to sleep, gave them cozy baths full of bubbles, and made sure to always tell them how much you loved them.

You both kissed every cut and scrape, took them out for ice cream, and cheered them on when it came to passions they had such as school, sports, music, and anything else they loved.

You loved them just as much as you always did as they found themselves with their true sexualities and what they identified as.

Life with four kids and careers kept you both very busy.

But despite being very busy, you and Taylor always made time for each other and you still felt just as happy and as in love as you did the day you met.

You still went on dates, you still had adventures, and you still traveled the world.

Taylor still made music.

Things had, of course, slowed down a little as she became more focused on you and the family you made together.

But she was sure to still keep that part of her life alive.

Everything she did, she was always successful with.

She didn't tour as much but she put on a few shows over the years.

She still won awards, though they didn't matter as much as they once did.

Taylor still wrote songs about you and your babies as well as stories she read and came up with.

But, one day, you both realized how much time had passed by.

Eventually, your four children moved out and started their own lives.

One of your daughters became a scientist, one of your songs grew up to love art, your other daughter followed in Taylor's shoes and became a musician, and your youngest, your son, was just taking life step by step and finding himself every day.

He wasn't quite sure what he wanted but he was making it on his own and was falling in love and finding himself.

You and Taylor felt so proud of the children you had made together.

They all chose different paths but they were so close, all of them being each other's best friends.

They were humble, they were driven, they were kind, they were beautiful inside and out, and they still loved you and Taylor more than anything.

Since the kids had moved out and you and Taylor had grown old together, you were satisfied with the life you loved.

You sat on the rocking chair outside the house with Taylor in the one beside you.

Well into your seventies and Taylor almost eighty now, life seems delicate and fragile.

You have learned to never take a day for granted as you realize that you just don't know how many you have left.

But as you hold hands and continue to share kisses and words of love, you and Taylor both know that you lived life to the fullest together.

You created a beautiful family, lived out your dreams, got to see the world, and you were still just as in love now as ever before.

So as you laid your head on her shoulder and her lips pulled up into a smile, you knew that whenever the time came for either of you, or both of you, to leave this world, you'd have lived happy lives.

And your love would always be remembered.
