POV: Saiki Kusuo
We were in my room and I noticed that Kokomi looked sad.
S: What's wrong, Kokomi?
T: I just realized that we can't even spend time together during the school trip.
S: Hm, even more so that the groupings have more people.
T: But I guess it'll still be fun, it's a school trip after all.
I know that her smile wasn't sincere.
S: Kokomi,
T: Hm?
S: You want to go somewhere before the trip?
T: Where?
S: Anywhere really, I have teleportation.

I read a few pages of my book cause she was thinking that long.
S: I got an idea!
One week before the school trip...
T: I'm here!
S: Why are we going to Okinawa?
T: Because we won't feel detached when we go there during the trip.
S: Hm, alright, hold my hand.
T: Oh, ok.
I teleported us to Naha airport.
T: Where are we? Woah! We're already in Okinawa!
S: You're oddly excited even though we've been here before.
T: But it's the first time I went somewhere so far with just one person. And this is also the first time I went somewhere far with you.
I flinched from the sudden attack and slightly blushed.
T: So where do you want to go?
She noticed that I was embarrassed and she did a small giggle.
T: Want to walk around first?
S: Sure.
We walked around until we reached Kokusai Street. It wasn't easy enjoying the walk and seeing the sights where every single guy exclaimed in dialect,

I should've expected this.
Kokomi noticed that this walk isn't cutting it.
T: You want to go eat?
S: Gladly.
She could tell I wanted to end the walk.
POV: Teruhashi Kokomi
We entered a random restaurant, greeted by the chef.
Restaurant Owner: Welcome!
We both sat down and saw the name of the main dish on the wall.
"Best Rafute in Okinawa! Even the World!"
T: Rafute?
S: It's braised pork belly.
T: Isn't Okinawa known for their rafute?
S: Yeah, Aside from their soba.
T: If so, let's give it a try then!
We ordered two servings and waited a few minutes.
RO: Here's your rafute!
He handed us two plates of pork belly with rice and fresh vegetables.
S: Didn't expect the dish to look plain.
T: Maybe all of the flavor is in the pork belly.
I took a piece of pork, as much rice as my chopstick can carry and a few piece of vegetables.

SO GOOD!
I thought the pork belly would be really fatty but it was actually pretty light, and allows the flavors to spread. The rice balances the flavor of the pork and the vegetables adds a crunchy texture to the softness of the rice and pork.
I glanced at Kusuo silently eating.
I finished the portion I ate and asked Kusuo,
T: Don't you think this is really good?
He turned at me and said one word.
S: Maasan.
...
I suddenly busted out laughing from Kusuo using Okinawan dialect out of nowhere.
Kusuo just continued eating, probably hiding his embarrassment.
RO: Thank you! Come back again!
We bid farewell to the enthusiastic chef as we leave the restaurant.
T: Want to go the beach?
S: The last beach we went to was a hassle, I know a better one.
Kusuo suddenly grabbed my hand and brought us somewhere private
T: Kusuo?!
As soon as I blinked, we're already at Furuzamami Beach. Kusuo noticed that I got a bit upset.
S: What's wrong?
T: Nothing.
You can't blame me for misunderstanding when he brought me somewhere empty.
T: I'm surprised you just teleported us here.
S: It's a beach. There's not much surveillance.
After the small conversation, I was in awe as I saw the beach. The clear blue sky, the beautiful white sand, the translucent sea water at the shore coloured by the rocks and coral, showing a beautiful turqoise. It's too natural to be artificial but was preserved to truly seem like one of nature's masterpieces.
When I was busy admiring the view, Kusuo already rented a beach parasol and laid down.
T: Kusuo.
S: What?
T: There's more to beaches than just lounging around.
S: I know, you showed me.
T: Then why are you still lounging around, let's go snorkeling!
S: You know I can go snorkeling in any time right?
T: Hm, fine, I'll go rent some gear.
The snorkeling session was amazing. The coral and stones made it seem like a forest underwater, the fish gathered around me,I even saw some sea turtles. The only weird thing is seeing Kusuo following me snorkeling without any gear.
T: That was so much fun!
S: Glad you enjoyed it.
I look to Kusuo continuing to lie down under the shade.
T: Where do you want to go next? Doesn't make sense to go to an aquarium. I could go for some dessert.
Kusuo, whose eyes has been closed the whole time, has his eyes shot wide open and woke up from his resting state.
T: You want to go get some dessert?
S: Yes I do.
Once the coast is clear, which is almost literal, Kusuo teleported us to a public market in Naha.
Unlike the well decorated interior in the rafute restaurant, the dessert place looks more humble and traditional, so it looks more homely and comfortable.
The main dish of the place is Sata andagi, a doughnut ball.
Kusuo's eyes was darting around the flavor section of the menu on the wall, until his eyes locked on one word,
"Coffee"
Because of course it is.
While Kusuo bought the coffee flavor, I settled for black sugar.
I was quite surprised on the fluffy center of the doughnut ball with the dense outburst of flavor. It was such an addicting dessert. I look to Kusuo and he has his usual look when he eats coffee desserts. I'll never get bored of his cute look.
He noticed that I was watching him and glanced at me.
T: Maasan?
He glared at me and continued eating. I just did a small laugh in response.
When we exited the dessert shop, we passed by two angry-looking men. As soon as they entered, we hear shouting and things breaking.
POV: Saiki Kusuo
Looks like the two thugs are causing trouble. But unfortunately, we're not natives so we shouldn't be involved. Too bad Kokomi didn't get the memo and entered back to the desert shop.
?: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON'T PAY UP!
The two were so immersed in their gangster act that they didn't notice Kokomi walking in.
T: What are you doing?!
Thug 1: WHO SAID THAT TO ME-OH!
He wanted to yell at her but was overwhelmed by Kokomi.
Thug 2: What is wrong with yo-Oh!
The other one too.
T: Why are you doing this?!
Th1: Sorry, my lady, but this is the duty of Latsu-Tekina gang!
Why is she called like the daughter of the boss? And what's with that gang name?
Of course they both noticed me slightly behind Kokomi.
Th2: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!
Good grief, have you noticed that I haven't said that lately? It's because I was actually enjoying myself lately.
Th1: Are you with Ojou-sama!?
Ojou-sama?
They are obviously shifting their anger at me cause they're incapable of being upset at Kokomi.
T: Ku-
S: No, stay out of this.
Th 2: I don't like your look, brat!
He grabbed my shirt collar and started dragging me to an empty alley.
POV: Teruhashi Kokomi
What am I going to do? It's all my fault that I dragged Kusuo to this.
I soon ran after them and made it to the empty alley.
...
What I saw before me was Kusuo in front of two bodies.
T: Are they dead?!
S: No, they're passed out.
T: Hold on, I was supposed to be worried about you!
S: Doesn't look like it.
T: Why did I forget that you have super strength?
S: Well, I'm glad that you're worried about me.
I slightly blushed from his assuring smile.
T: Whatever, let's go back.
S: Ok ok.
He lended his hand and I took it.
We teleported right in his room.
T: Wow, that was fun!
S: It was fun, but pretty tiring.
Kusuo instantly laid down on his bed.
T: Is teleporting tiring?
S: I do have to expend energy every time.
I barely noticed that his voice started to become slower.
T: I see, thank you Kusuo.
No response.
"Kusuo?"
His eyes were closed the entire time so I couldn't tell that he fell asleep.
I sat right by Kusuo's bed, and saw his hand laid out to me, so I held it.
"Throughout the whole trip, this is the only time I wanted to hold your hand. Thank you for giving me the best date"
