A few weeks went by and the last time I saw conor was when I was drunk we text a few times but it wasn't him it was me that distanced myself and Jack had told me what pain he was in from me not returning any calls but I just shut myself out for some wired reason me and Conor start talking and we end up lost in the lust and our sexual attraction between each other and forget about the talking
My phone started to buzzing I look
'In coming call from Conor Maynard'
I declined.
I can't bare to see him I once told him I can never be his friend only more than friends but if that isn't possible I can't see him at all and I started crying my heart is hurting but our love seems only physical and sexual I mean the man hasn't taken me on a date we can't spend one night talking and cuddling and watching movies! Just sex!
I just broke down in my dark bedroom and cuddled up in my duvet
"Awh conor what have done to me"I cried out to myself and for about half an hour I cried and cried then I got out of bed and brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail and did some skincare and put on joggers and a matching gray cropped vest top and as I sit sofa on on my laptop I see a cover by Conor,anth and Corey
"You really shouldn't have gave me a key"I hear Jack voice I turn and see him stood there
"How long you been-"i said
"Just enough to hear the song"he said I sighed
"So tell me you listen to him feature on a cover but you won't text or call? Why?"he asked as I moved my feet so he could sit next to me I fell silent to gather my thoughts
Jack owes and explanation but he is the bother of Conor but also my best friend
"I don't think conor wants me like I want him"I said he was confused
"What but you said you're-"Jack started to say
"I know talking yes we do but it always leads to...well how do I put this lightly"i said shakily as I was holding back my tears
"Sleeping with each other"he sighed I nodded
"I can't keep doing this"I said and cried
"Then say no"he said I shook my head
"Jack it's not that simple"I cried and cried
Yes it sounds stupid the part I didn't explain is I can say no to having sex but as much as he wants me like that so do I and it's like I can't say no but I know I'll hurt myself in the long future
"Evie you can just put you're foot down"Jack said and I sighed
"I can't! Okay I can't! Because I want it too but I know deep down it hurt me in the future and I know he only misses the sec not me"i said he shook his head
"You blind then why would he rip up and expensive hoodie of his"Jack said
"To keep me happy!"I cried
"Evie I'm sorry but you're wrong"he said my anger boiled I stood up and walked around
"Right so if I'm so wrong! Why hasn't taken me on a date! Why do we meet only late at each other apartment because he's only after one thing! Look I know he's you're brother but he's hurt me more than my ex it feels like now!"i exclaimed
"Conor didn't do anything to hurt you like you're ex did Evie..."Jack said defensively
"What he did hurt me yes but this hurting me more and more! It's getting worse and because conor the one taught me about actual love and when he does that to me it makes me just not wanna believe that we can be happy again!"I cried he got up and hugged me
"Okay listen to me"he said as he breaks out of hug
"You're just hurting and scared I know you are but if you told him all of this he would make it right and you know that"he said I look down
He is right but conor is a weakness of mine I feel like it will hurt me deep down
"Anyways you get ready you're coming out but I need to do someone work so I'll be downstairs in the lounge doing work of this apartment complex"he said
"Where we going?"i said
"Doesn't matter just get ready"he said started walking out
"Why do you always say that! I hate-"I started to say
"You love me really"he said looking at me with a smile as he closed the door I shook my head and went to get ready
Conor pov
Sat on the sofa looking through Instagram and Leo going back to my text messages to Evie no reply for about 3 weeks now I don't know what I've done wrong because once we woke up from that night out with josh and liv she gave me a peck and said 'see you later babe' so I dunno what I've done

I'm generally so confused like this girl is do anything for she's been my everything for about 7 to 8 years now I met her in 2016 when she moved her to break up with her ex and she was the one who got me out of sleeping with girl after girl and she was nothing like my ex because I made my ex my everything and forgot music where Evie encouraged me to do more and more music and when I worked away she stayed she didn't think I was forgetting about her like some girls she was so supportive and loving and caring just everything a boy could dream of
But now she gone over a dumb mistake I made that I regret and eats me up daily ever since it's happened and she's slowly fading away and I didn't want that to happen I thought the talking was going so well...what have a done wrong then Jack started calling I answered
"Yo"i said tiredly because of my thoughts I mean he knows I'm hurting I've ranted to him for like 2 weeks now
"Alright mate I know why she ain't talking to you"Jack said I sat up instantly
"Yeah? Why is that then"I asked
"Well I went to see her because I've got a key like I've got yours for your apartment and well she was watching the careless whispers cover you did with anth and Corey"he started to say
"Mhm so she is still thinking of me"i mumbled
"Mate course she is, anyways I just straight up asked her and she basically thinks it's more like...erm I hate saying this but sexual than just talking"he explained
"What?"I said confused that makes no sense we always talk I mean yeah we end up kissing and you know doing it at the end of talking but she's instigated every time we've had sex
"Yeh but mate I think she's just hurting and probably scared the same situation going to happen she can't afford to get back in that situation because of the trust issues and even before she met you like with her ex"he said
"Yeh but I'd never force her or do anything of the sort her ex did and she knows that, what did you say when she said all this?!"i said
"I just told her if she doesn't wanna do anything sexual then put a stop and you'll put a stop to it"he said
"Yeh course!"i said I'm so confused
"Then she explained that she can't say no because she wants it as much as you do I think she finds it unhealthy for her or something but then I said if she told you everything she told me this morning than you could work it out"he explained
"Yeh like...ugh girls are generally so confusing"i sighed
"Tell me about it anyways I went to toilet but I'm with her now so I better go before she wonders where I am"Jack said
"Oh really? What you doing"I asked
"Well my management that she's also told me about how you know all the meetings she going to it's been approved so she's coming out with her own clothing brand! So we gonna make it a big surprise"Jack said happily
"Awh mate that's...amazing I wish I was there to share the moment"i said a bit sad because since Evie's been supportive I'm also supportive in all her success with like modelling and clothing brands she works with and when we was together she was telling me since she was a little girl she wanted her own clothing line or brand so it's amazing that that dream coming true
"Yeh I know....but erm hay....I better go"he said awkwardly I think he felt bad
"No no course! Cya later mate"i said trying to sound positive
"Alright I'll speak to you later, bye"he said
I said bye and hung up and slumped back in the sofa...I've gotta do something if this how Evie feels maybe I can send her something to congratulate her with a nice message I started looking on my phone for things and I found the perfect thing

"that's amazing! Oh my god!!!!"i said happily
My own clothing! My little self would be so proud of myself and probably wouldn't believe it I can't even believe it now! I look at Jack who was smiling
"You knew?!"i said he nodded
"We told him last night at his meeting"my manger said I laughed and pushed him
"You dick!"I laughed with them
"This is amazing! Oh my god!"i said in shock
"We gotta plan a big launch party and make it so special accomplishment for you to celebrate because we know how much this means to you!"my management said
"Oh my god all my friends can come! The modeling agency girls The boys! Anna! Liv and amber! Lilly and plus girlfriend Evie as well!"i said excitedly
"What about conor"my manger said and i remembered telling her because we are close I told her a month we might be getting back together I look at Jack and then look my wine
I didn't even think of him...he probably would be the most proud of me out of anyone but I can't have him there we both unhealthy for each other at the minute
"Evie.."Jack said
"I dunno will see"I said weakily smiled
"Oh okay...well how to announce it to you're followers?"my manger asked
"Oh my got Evie the YouTube comeback!"Jack said I smiled
"Yes! That's perfect and it make me get back into it like vlogging the launch night and preparing and it help me get back into YouTube"i said
"Yes! Oh my god im so happy for you! You're future will be amazing"my manger said and Jack putting my arm around me to hug me
"I gotta film it today and explain everything and then I can edit it and we can get meetings into plan about how to do the launch party! I already have so many ideas and I could make a mood bored! Or a few! Or host the meeting"I explained they both looked at me with massive smiles on there faces but not saying anything
"What?"I giggled a little
"No nothing it's just you're back"Jack said
"Yeah like you're acting like you're normal work self"my manger smiled
I guess in the latest meetings since breaking up with Conor I haven't been myself of course I'm very engaged with the meetings and wanna work but I guess I've been doing less because I normally try and do as much as I can like working and noting things at home and planning things I wanna say in the next meetings but lately I just show up and show up and do shoots and let the makeup artists and hairstylists do what ever they want when I normally tell them and show them photo inspections to crate the perfect look that's under the theme or circumstances
"Yeah I suppose you're right I mean I do apologies I haven't been like 100%"I said
"No darling it's understandable everyone has there days or tough times like no one's perfect and it's not like you're not turning up to meetings! I mean you take initiative like when you asked for that break and that's fine"my manger said
"Yeah we lucky because we can take breaks and for our jobs we need to look like our happy selfs so it's okay to take a break to get us back best mental state of mind"Jack said
"Yeah I know I guess that boy lost my train of thought for a while"i said quitely
"This is about you! Everything's fine you've come back better than ever!"my manger said I smiled brightly at her
"Thank you that means a lot this work is the only thing that no one can say that like the boys helped me with"i said
"Yeah! Think of it as a glow up! The bigger breakup glow up!"Jack joked we laughed
"Exactly"i said and I Jack took a few photos of me and we chatted and chatted and I looked at my instagrams and smiled at Jack post
And then I got a text
Conor:Come on we need to talk x
I can't think of him right now I've got big things happening in my life
I'm back better than ever.
