@TomHolland: To Alexandra,

You've been my closest friend since the day you joined the West End when we were kids, and I've been so proud to join you on this journey for all these years. You're the strongest, most talented woman I know (with the exception of Z, of course) and I'm truly heartbroken that you'll soon be moving onto a new chapter of your life, and that for the first time, I won't be by your side.

But, I'm also incredibly proud of you for taking this step, and I can't wait to come and cheer you on. If anyone deserves this seat, it's you. I've watched you complete some insane stunts over the years, from crashing planes, to running through a burning building and free-falling from a helicopter at 38,000 feet. You have always been, and will continue to be, one of my greatest motivators in life, and I will never forget that from the moment I met you, you'd always dreamt of this life, and of racing.

I love you, Bestie, and I can't wait to see you win a WDC ❤️

P.S, Look after her, boys.

As Alexandra entered the Mercedes garage for Silverstone's 70th-anniversary race, she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. She had chosen AlphaTauri over her dream team, Mercedes, and now she was about to face Toto Wolff, the man who'd made all this possible in the first place.

Without wasting any time, Toto immediately called her into his office. The moment she stepped in, she could sense his disappointment. She stood there, crossing her arms, ready to defend her decision.

"Alexandra, please come in," Toto said with a stern expression as she stepped inside the office. "I must admit, I'm disappointed that you chose AlphaTauri over Mercedes. You know how much we value your talent here." He paused. "How much I value your talent here."

Crossing her arms, Alexandra took a deep breath before responding, "I appreciate that, Toto. Mercedes has been my dream, but I didn't want to be just a reserve driver, and I couldn't bear to push either Valtteri or Lewis out of their well-deserved positions. I want to be racing next season, out on the track. I think I've earnt a place there."

Toto nodded thoughtfully, his frustration visible. "I understand your reasoning, but it's a tough pill to swallow. We had big plans for you in the future."

Her heart softened, realizing the impact of her decision. "I'm truly sorry, Toto. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. AlphaTauri's offer came with a race seat, and I couldn't turn that down."

Toto's expression softened, and he sighed. "I get it, and I respect your decision. Just know that you'll always be welcomed here at Mercedes, regardless of where your career takes you." He paused for a moment. "Although truthfully, I'm surprised Christian didn't offer you Daniel's seat at Red Bull...I heard he told Tost he'd be an idiot for not asking you to come on board though." The Austrian shrugged, a perplexed look on his face.

Alexandra hesitated before asking, "Can I be honest? I'm surprised that Christian convinced AlphaTauri to offer me a seat. I always thought he didn't like me."

Toto chuckled, shaking his head. "Ah, Christian... I don't know what goes on in that little brain of his. But I suppose he saw the talent in you and decided to back you up this time."

Leaning back in his chair, Toto finally let go of his stern facade and smiled. "Regardless of the circumstances, I want you to know that AlphaTauri will be lucky to have you. And you'll have a place here whenever you're ready to return."

"Who said I'd return?" She replied cheekily.

"Me." Toto replied. "You'll do a year in a lower team - AlphaTauri - and then you'll be scouted by the greats. Ferrari have taken Leclerc and Sainz long term, so it won't be them, Daniel's likely to stay with McLaren for a good few years too...so that leaves Mercedes or Red Bull. Alexandra, the day you choose Red Bull over Mercedes is the day Christian Horner finally puts the last nail in my coffin and I am dead. Do you understand? I can tell you between us, right now that Valtteri is considering leaving after next season. In which case, his seat is yours. I'll offer it right now. If Valtteri leaves, you get first pick." He shrugged.

"Thank you, Toto," Alexandra said, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude. "I'll consider it...and who knows, maybe one day, if a seat does open up here, I'll be ready."

Toto smiled warmly. "That's the spirit! And who knows, maybe we'll send Lewis into retirement one day just to make room for you," he joked, causing both of them to laugh.

As Alexandra left Toto's office, she felt a renewed sense of determination. Her journey with AlphaTauri might not have been her initial dream, but now she knew she had the support of Toto and Mercedes behind her, making her feel more confident and eager to embrace whatever challenges lay ahead.

If she could make Toto understand her choice, surely she could do the same for her other friends.

At the weekly table read for the movie "Champion," Alexandra took a deep breath before making her announcement. She glanced at her co-stars, the excitement and camaraderie they had built over the months of filming momentarily overshadowed by the weight of her decision.

"I have something to share with all of you," she began, her voice steady but tinged with emotion. "I know you've already seen the news, but I want you to hear it from me. This movie will be my last in Hollywood. I've decided to step away from acting...As of 2021, I will be driving for AlphaTauri in Formula One."

The room fell into a shocked silence. Tom and Zendaya exchanged glances, concern evident in their eyes, but they were also proud of Alexandra for being true to herself. Robert, Blake, Cillian, and Andrew, on the other hand, erupted into cheers and applause, genuinely happy for their friend.

"You're going to race? That's amazing!" Andrew exclaimed, excitement written all over his face. "You'll have to take me for a test drive sometime!"

Alexandra smiled at Andrew's enthusiasm. "Only if you let me do donuts." she replied playfully.

Amid the cheers, Tom and Lexi exchanged a knowing look. Tom couldn't help but inquire, "Is this the reason you and Flo aren't talking lately?"

Lexi nodded, her expression serious. "Yeah...when she found out I'd been offered a seat, she accused me of only taking the seat because of Charles and my brother."

Zendaya chimed in, "Why are you doing it, Lexi?"

Lexi took a deep breath, her eyes shining with newfound determination. "For as long as I can remember, I've felt homesick for something, but I could never put my finger on what it was. The past few months, shooting this movie and stepping onto that track...I can't explain it, but I just feel like I belong. It feels like home."

Hearing Lexi's sincerity, Zendaya's concern softened, and she gave Lexi a reassuring nod. "I just want you to be happy, Lexi. If this is where you find that happiness, then I'll support you all the way."

The room erupted into supportive words and encouragement. Tom, Zendaya, Robert, Blake, Cillian, and Andrew all offered their unwavering support for Lexi's decision. They knew that following one's heart was essential, even if it meant pursuing a different path.

As Alexandra smiled at her friends, gratitude filled her heart. She was thankful for their understanding and support, knowing that even as she embarked on her racing journey, her friends in Hollywood would still be there to cheer her on.

"So, what races can I come too?" Robert asked with a cheeky grin.

The quaint café in London was filled with a mix of fragrant coffee and sweet pastries. As Lexi waited nervously, she spotted Florence entering with a guarded expression. Taking a deep breath, Lexi approached her best friend.

"Hey, Flo," Lexi began, her voice soft yet hopeful. "Can we talk?"

Florence hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly gestured towards a corner table. They sat down, the atmosphere thick with tension.

"I'm sorry for what I said," Florence finally blurted out, her voice cracking. "I shouldn't have been so harsh and judgmental. It's just... I was scared, Lex. I didn't want you to leave acting behind and regret it later."

Lexi could see the vulnerability in Florence's eyes, and her heart softened. "I understand why you were worried, Flo," Lexi replied gently. "But I need you to trust me. I've thought long and hard about this decision, and taking the seat at AlphaTauri is what I truly want."

Florence's facade finally broke, and she let out a shaky breath. "I'm sorry, Lexi. I just want what's best for you, and I should've supported your decision from the beginning."

Lexi nodded, accepting the apology. "You've always been my best friend, Flo, and that won't change. I want you to be happy too, and I hope you'll be able to come visit me at races from time to time. I'll miss you."

Florence smiled, genuine warmth returning to her eyes. "I am proud of you, Lex. You're brave, and I know you'll do great on that grid."

Lexi seemed surprised. "Proud of me? Why?"

Florence hesitated for a moment, then spoke softly. "After James' accident and losing your mum, I was worried that you might never truly be happy again. But this summer, when we were spending time with the boys, I saw something different in you. That night at the beach in Croatia, you were laughing, carefree, and genuinely happy. It was like seeing you come alive again, and it made me realize that maybe this is what you've been searching for all along."

Tears welled up in Lexi's eyes as she reached across the table to hold Florence's hand. "Thank you, Flo," Lexi whispered, her voice full of emotion. "I didn't know you felt that way, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Toto's offer sooner."

Florence squeezed her hand. "We both needed time to process things. But now that we've talked, I can honestly say that I support you, Lex. Chase your dreams, and I'll be right there cheering you on."

Lexi smiled, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude. "Thank you, Flo. Having you in my corner means the world to me."

As they continued to chat, the tension between them dissipated, and the bond between the two friends grew even stronger.

As the conversation between Alexandra and Florence continued, Florence couldn't help but inquire about the status of Alexandra's relationship with Charles.

"So, how are things going with Charles?" Florence asked, a knowing smile on her face.

Alexandra blushed slightly, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "It's going really well," she admitted. "He's been incredibly supportive of my decision to join AlphaTauri, but I can't help but worry that it might put a strain on our relationship."

Florence leaned in, reassuringly placing a hand on Alexandra's. "You two will be just fine," she said, her voice filled with confidence. "I've seen the way he looks at you, Lexi. It's as if you're the last light shining in the universe for him."

Alexandra's cheeks flushed even deeper, and she playfully nudged Florence. "Okay, enough with the cheesy romance talk," she said, trying to hide her embarrassment.

But Florence didn't let up. "I'm serious, Lex. He's head over heels for you, and I can tell that he truly cares about you. Don't let your worries about the future get in the way of something special."

Taking a deep breath, Alexandra opened up to her best friend. "You know, Flo, I've been thinking about how being in the same sport might affect our relationship. We'll be spending even more time together, and we'll also be competing against each other. I'm scared that it might create tension between us."

Florence listened attentively, her eyes full of understanding. "It's natural to have those worries, Lex," she said gently. "But if your bond is strong enough, you'll find a way to navigate through it together. I think you'll be fine."

Lexi nodded, contemplating Florence's words. "You're right," she admitted. "I'm just being stupid."

Florence nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Besides, there's something else you should consider telling him."

Lexi looked at Florence curiously. "What do you mean?"

"I'm talking about your brother's accident," Florence replied, her expression serious. "I know you've kept it a secret, but with the gossip blog still digging around in your life, it might come out sooner or later. It's better to be honest with Charles about it."

"Flo-,"

"I'm not trying to argue, Alexandra. I just  think it'll hurt him if he thinks you've kept this from him for the wrong reasons."

"And what reason is that?"

Florence sighed. "Lex, I've known you long enough. You don't want to tell Charles about James' accident because you're worried he'll abandon you. He won't. But, I think he needs to hear it from you, and not half-truths from some middle aged woman sitting in a basement."

A mix of emotions played on Lexi's face as she considered Florence's advice. "You're right," she said softly. "I should tell him. It's just... a difficult thing to talk about."

Florence nodded understandingly. "Take your time, Lex. When you're ready, talk to him honestly. And remember, I'm here for you every step of the way."

Alexandra smiled gratefully at her best friend. "Thank you, Flo," she said, feeling a renewed sense of comfort and support. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

The two friends continued to chat, and as they finished their coffee, Lexi felt a newfound determination to face her fears, embrace her relationship with Charles, and be honest about her past.

She knew Florence was right, it wouldn't stay buried forever. While her father had told part of the story, he'd seemingly only told part of it, and convieniently, it was the past that make him look less awful than the truth would.

With a sigh, Alexandra looked to her best friend. "Please don't tell anyone else, but I've been thinking of going to visit him."

"Who?"

"James."
