Lots of animals hibernate, hibernation is the act of sleeping through winter.
Some animals also do what's called 'denning' where the don't hibernate but the stay in there den and sleep more, occasionally popping out for a snack.
A good way to connect your theriotype if they hibernate or den is by eating more in autumn/fall then being more lazy or sleep more in winter!
