In the midst of the night, the royal chamber was wrapped in a serene hush as everyone in the palace slept soundly.
The moon's gentle glow spilled through the window, casting a soft, silvery light upon the sleeping figures. Taehyung and Jungkook were nestled closely together under the warm embrace of their blankets, their peaceful slumber a testament to their love and contentment.
As the clock ticked, stirring the calmness of the room, Taehyung was gently woken by a faint touch. He blinked his eyes open, To his surprise, his beloved omega was wide awake, a mischievous glint dancing in his eyes.
"Jungkook? Is something wrong?" Taehyung asked, his voice drowsy yet attentive.
But before he could receive a reply, With a grin, Jungkook swiftly kicked Taehyung out of the bed, much to the alpha's amusement and bewilderment.
"Hey now, what's going on?" Taehyung chuckled, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
Jungkook's pout was adorable, and Taehyung couldn't help but find his mate's antics utterly endearing. "I want pancakes and tomato sauce," Jungkook declared, his voice a mix of determination and cuteness.
"Pancakes and tomato sauce?" Taehyung repeated, suppressing a laugh. He had to admit, this was one of the most unique cravings he had ever heard from Jungkook.
Jungkook nodded fervently, his eyes shining with excitement. "Yes, please! I know it's weird, but I really want it," he explained, tugging at Taehyung's heartstrings with his innocent plea.
With a warm smile, Taehyung got up from the bed. "Alright, my love, anything for you," he said,
As Taehyung made his way to the kitchen, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck. Turning around, he found Jungkook holding on to him, looking like an adorable koala clinging to its favorite tree.
Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at the sight, marveling at how cute and irresistible his omega could be.
"Do you want to come with me, my love?" Taehyung asked, already knowing the answer but enjoying the idea of having Jungkook's company.
Jungkook nodded eagerly, his eyes shining with excitement. "Yes, I want to be with you," he replied, his voice filled with affection.
With a warm smile, Taehyung gently scooped Jungkook into his arms, cradling him close to his chest. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck, resting his head on his alpha's shoulder as they made their way to the kitchen.
Once inside, Taehyung set Jungkook down on the kitchen counter, making sure he was comfortable.
Jungkook grinned, swinging his legs back and forth like a child on a swing. Taehyung couldn't resist placing a soft kiss on Jungkook's forehead, a gesture that elicited a delighted giggle from his mate.
With everything they needed at hand, Taehyung began the process of making pancakes, the soft sound of sizzling batter filling the kitchen. Jungkook watched with fascination, his eyes following every movement of Taehyung's skilled hands.
As Taehyung skillfully prepared the pancakes, adding a hint of sweetness to them, he couldn't help but glance over at Jungkook, who was sitting on the kitchen counter, watching him with those mesmerizing doe-like eyes.
The alpha's heart swelled with love as he saw the genuine excitement and anticipation in Jungkook's expression.
However, as Taehyung reached for the bottle of tomato sauce, ready to drizzle it over the golden pancakes, he heard a soft voice.
"Um, Tae, I think I'm not hungry anymore," Jungkook said, while pouting.
Taehyung blinked, momentarily taken aback by the sudden change of heart. He chuckled softly, setting the sauce bottle down. "Really? But I made them just for you,"
" Sorry " Jungkook said looking over his lap.
Taehyung's smile softened, and he walked over to Jungkook, wrapping his arms around his waist. "Hey, it's okay. You don't have to eat if you don't want to. I can save them for later," he reassured his mate, pressing a gentle kiss on Jungkook's forehead.
Jungkook leaned into the touch, sighing contentedly. "You're the best, Tae." he murmured, his fingers gently playing with the hair at the back of Taehyung's neck.
As Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck while still perched on the kitchen counter, Taehyung's hands instinctively found their place on Jungkook's waist, pulling him closer.
Their lips met in a sweet and affectionate kiss, their love for each other evident in every gentle touch and soft sigh.
Lost in their own little world, their intimate moment was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching. Taehyung and Jungkook pulled away from the kiss, their cheeks flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and amusement.
It was Jimin, who had just entered the kitchen to grab a glass of water. He couldn't help but grin mischievously at the couple. "Am I interrupting something?" he teased, wiggling his eyebrows playfully.
Jungkook's face turned a shade of pink as he tried to hide his embarrassment, burying his face in Taehyung's shoulder. Taehyung, on the other hand, rolled his eyes playfully.
"Come on, Jimmy. Can't we have a moment alone?" Taehyung chuckled,
Jimin laughed and filled his glass with water. "Fine, fine. I'll leave you two lovebirds alone," he said, playfully patting Taehyung's back as he passed by them.
As Jimin left the kitchen, Taehyung turned his attention back to Jungkook, who was still hiding his face. He gently tilted Jungkook's chin up with his fingers, making the omega look into his eyes.
" Should we continue what we left"
Feeling more at ease, Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck once again, drawing him closer for another loving kiss.
As Taehyung carried Jungkook back to their room, they were enveloped in a cocoon of love and warmth. Jungkook nestled into Taehyung's embrace, feeling safe and protected in his alpha's arms.
In the following days, life at the palace continued with joy and excitement. Jungkook often spent time in the beautiful palace garden, enjoying the fresh air and tranquility.
On this particular day, he was strolling through the garden with Baby Ara in his arms, the little girl giggling and cooing in delight.
As Ara's happy babbling suddenly turned into cries of hunger, Jungkook's instincts kicked in, and he quickly made her comfortable on a nearby garden couch to attend to her needs.
But in his hurry, he accidentally stepped on a slippery patch, losing his balance and almost falling backward.
However, luck was on his side, as Yoongi, who had heard Ara's cries from afar, rushed to the scene just in time.
He swiftly caught Jungkook in his arms, preventing any harm from coming to the pregnant omega.
The commotion caught the attention of other family members, and they all gathered around with concern etched on their faces.
Taehyung's heart raced with worry, and he couldn't help but scold Jungkook gently. "Jungkook, you need to be more careful," he chided, unable to hide the worry in his voice.
But as Taehyung turned to see Jungkook's teary eyes, he realized that his words had hurt the sensitive omega. Jungkook was already feeling overwhelmed by the pregnancy, and Taehyung's scolding had added to his emotions.
But the emotional dam had already burst, and Jungkook couldn't hold back his tears. He clung to Jin, seeking comfort from the elder omega.
Jin, with his gentle and soothing demeanor, wrapped his arms around Jungkook, rocking him gently back and forth. "It's alright, my son." he reassured him, his soothing voice like a balm to Jungkook's distressed heart.
Jin shot Taehyung a glare.
Feeling guilty, Taehyung immediately softened his tone and pulled Jungkook into a comforting hug. "I'm sorry, love. I didn't mean to upset you. I just want you to be safe," he whispered into Jungkook's ear.
Taehyung kissed Jungkook's forehead gently, promising to be more understanding and patient.
From this incident Taehyung understood that he has to be more careful with his words and actions, even it he is worried he has to handle Jungkook with patience and love.
After a few days.....
On the day of their first doctor checkup for the baby, Jungkook and Taehyung were both filled with excitement and nerves.
They held each other's hands tightly as they waited for the doctor to arrive.
As the doctor entered the room, he greeted the couple warmly and reassured them that everything would be alright.
Jungkook laid down on the examination table, and Taehyung stood by his side,
The doctor began the checkup, placing cold gel on Jungkook's stomach to prepare for the ultrasound.
Jungkook couldn't help but hiss a little at the sudden chill, causing Taehyung to immediately start panicking.
"Is he alright? Is it hurting him? Should we stop?" Taehyung bombarded the doctor with questions, his worry evident in his voice.
The doctor chuckled softly at Taehyung's anxiousness. "Don't worry, it's just the cold gel. Luna might feel uncomfortable for a moment, but it's completely normal," he assured, trying to put Taehyung's mind at ease.
As the doctor moved the ultrasound probe on Jungkook's belly, the room was filled with anticipation. And then, suddenly, the monitor displayed the first glimpse of their precious baby.
Jungkook gasped, his eyes filling with tears of joy as he saw the tiny heartbeat flickering on the screen. Taehyung's hands trembled as he kissed Jungkook's hands repeatedly, overcome with emotion at the sight of their little miracle.
"Look, Ta-aehyung, our bean," Jungkook whispered, his voice choked with emotion.
Taehyung couldn't speak, his heart too full for words. He continued to shower Jungkook with soft kisses,
The doctor pointed out different features of the baby on the ultrasound, explaining the growth and development of their little one.
Jungkook and Taehyung hung onto every word, completely captivated by the sight of their unborn child.
As the doctor finished the checkup and printed out the ultrasound images, Jungkook and Taehyung couldn't stop crying tears of happiness. They held each other close,
Leaving the doctor's office, Jungkook and Taehyung felt a renewed sense of love and excitement for the journey ahead.
As Taehyung and Jungkook made their way back to the palace, Taehyung couldn't help but fuss over Jungkook with a mix of excitement and concern. He showered Jungkook with endless questions, unable to contain his eagerness to take care of his omega.
"Are you tired, Kookie? Do you feel nausea?" Taehyung asked, his eyes filled with love and worry as he scanned Jungkook's face for any sign of fatigue.
"Tae, I'm fine," Jungkook replied with a gentle smile, finding Taehyung's attentiveness endearing.
Taehyung, however, didn't seem satisfied with just one answer. He continued to dote on Jungkook, asking if he was thirsty, if he wanted a snack, or if he needed to rest although Jungkook was already sitting.
Taehyung pulled out a water bottle from his bag and handed it to Jungkook. "Drink some water, love. It's important to stay hydrated."
Jungkook chuckled softly, taking a sip of water to appease Taehyung's concerns. "You really don't have to worry so much, Tae. I'm not that delicate," he teased playfully.
Taehyung pouted, looking adorably hurt. "But you're carrying our precious baby, Kookie. I want to make sure you're taken care of."
Jungkook's heart swelled with affection for his caring alpha. He placed a hand on Taehyung's cheek, leaning in to plant a sweet kiss on his lips. "You're the sweetest, Tae. I know you love me and our bean. And trust me, I'm doing just fine."
Jungkook nuzzled into Taehyung's chest, feeling safe and cherished in his alpha's arms.
