The engines roared to life as the Formula 1 cars lined up on the grid for the first movie scene race at the iconic Austrian track. The cameras were ready, capturing every moment of the action that would later become part of a blockbuster film. Alongside the seasoned F1 drivers stood four mysterious stunt drivers, their identities concealed beneath the helmets and racing suits.

Two were wearing bright yellow to match their cars, and two wearing darker purple. The other drivers around them felt slightly uneasy at the prospect of this race but had been assured by the FIA that all drivers were good enough to compete in a normal race - especially considering it was only 20 laps.

Charles Leclerc, with a mix of excitement and focus, adjusted his gloves while sitting in his scarlet Ferrari. He's spent the past hour looking for Alexandra, as the rest of the cast were all standing nearby watching the race. However, she was nowhere in sight, and he found himself instead considering that she was filming something elsewhere on set.

Kimi Raikkonen, the Iceman himself, sat stoically in the Alfa Romeo, ready to take on the challenge, his mechanic already dreading the anger he was about to receive over the radio. The grid was buzzing with anticipation, knowing that they were about to be part of something extraordinary.

As the signal to start the race was given, the track came alive with a symphony of revving engines and screeching tires. The F1 drivers battled for positions, but something unexpected was about to unfold. Among the unknown stunt drivers was one who possessed skills beyond their wildest imaginations - the exception of this being the Mercedes team, who had spent the summer witnessing firsthand the extreme talent of Alexandra Heroux.

A bright yellow car, driven by the enigmatic mystery driver, emerged from the middle of the pack. With precision and daring, this unknown driver weaved through the F1 cars as if they were mere obstacles. Charles and Kimi found themselves caught in the wake of this yellow blur, unable to keep it at bay.

Charles, a young and fierce talent in his first year at Ferrari, couldn't help but admire the mysterious driver's audacity. He could sense that this was no ordinary stunt driver; there was something different about their style. Kimi, a seasoned veteran of the sport, also found himself intrigued, a hint of a smile hidden beneath his unyielding exterior.

The yellow car made its move, pulling off a jaw-dropping maneuver that left even the most experienced F1 drivers in awe. The stunt driver overtook both Charles and Kimi in one daring swoop, securing an impressive fourth position. It was a display of skill that seemed almost superhuman.

"What the fuck?" Kimi questioned, his radio buzzing to life.

"Okay Kimi, mode push." The mechanic replied.

"Shut up and tell me who that was." The driver demanded, weaving a corner.

"We'll find out."

From inside the Mercedes garage, Toto Wolff sat, with a large, shit-eating grin firmly on his face.

As the race concluded and the cars returned to the pit lane, the F1 drivers couldn't help but speculate about the identity of the mysterious driver who had left them astounded. The pit crew and team members were also abuzz with curiosity.

When the time finally came for the unknown driver to reveal themselves, anticipation filled the air.

The cars were all stopped in the pitlane, and as the other drivers rushed out of their cars to find the mystery driver, they watched as Toto Wolff high-fived the figure in yellow, followed quickly by Valtteri and Lewis.

The helmet was removed, and to everyone's shock and delight, it was none other than Alexandra Heroux, her chestnut hair tied into a loose plait as she wiped the sweat from her brow.

The F1 drivers, including Charles and Kimi, couldn't believe their eyes. They exchanged glances, a mix of surprise and admiration etched on their faces. Alexandra smiled as she stepped out of the yellow car, her heart pounding with exhilaration from the incredible experience she had just lived.

"No. Fucking. Way." Max Verstappen murmured as he joined the group of drivers, who were all congratulating Alexandra. Christian Horner stood beside him, a scowl on his face.

"How on earth have the FIA cleared this?" Christian muttered. "An actress on the grid?"

"I hope you don't mean anything sexist by that, Christian." George Russell snapped from beside them. Christian shook his head.

"I don't care that she's a woman, I care that she's not had years of training and experience."

"She has." Sebastian Vettel murmured softly from beside the small group, a grin on his face as they watched Toto celebrate with Lexi from afar. "She used to compete when she was younger. Her, and her brother."

"Brother?"

"James. James Heroux. I think you might know him by his legal name. James Jenkins." Christian's face paled. Sebastian nodded silently as if confirming something, before walking away, engulfing his old friend into a hug and congratulating her with a proud grin.

Max and the other drivers all piqued their interest considerably. Christian Horner was good at many things, but one of his talents was the ability to never forget a name.

The story of James Jenkins was something that would make the older man's skin crawl whenever he heard it, and it was something he desperately wished to forget. Suddenly, Alexandra's friendship with Lewis made sense, and the pieces of the puzzle clicked into place.

"What-,"

"James was on track to become the youngest WDC ever." Christian began. "But-,"

"I don't think that's a story for you to tell." a voice spoke suddenly, and the small group turned to face Tom Holland and Toto Wolff, who both stood with angered expressions. As an uncomfortable silence fell on the group, and whispers of James Jenkins floated through to the team principals, Alexandra froze suddenly, aware of the name being spoken.

"We need to celebrate!" Lewis declared, wrapping his arm around his friend protectively, holding her close, and raising his voice to break the tension. "What are you doing tonight?"

"Ah shit, I'm going to a cast dinner." Lexi smiled in apology. "Another night though?"

Lewis smiled. "Sure."

From across the group, Charles felt a strange surge of emotion run through him at the sight, and he thought of his ex-girlfriend Charlotte. It wasn't an emotion he'd felt before, but the more he thought about it, the more he was sure of what it was.

He was jealous.

The quaint Austrian town of Spielberg boasted a hidden gem-a luxurious restaurant known for its elegant ambiance and delectable cuisine. The cast of the movie "Champion" gathered here to celebrate Lexi Heroux's incredible achievement on the race track. The private dining room exuded an air of exclusivity, as soft candlelight danced on the walls and the rich aroma of gourmet dishes filled the air.

Lexi sat at the head of the long table, still wearing the adrenaline-fueled smile that had accompanied her 4th-place win. Her co-stars, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Blake Lively, Robert Downey Jr., Andrew Garfield, Jon Favreau, and Cillian Murphy, were all seated around her, their eyes reflecting genuine admiration and pride.

A waiter brought a bottle of fine champagne, and Tom, with a flourish, popped the cork to cheers and laughter. "To Lexi, the greatest and only stunt driver F1 has ever seen! Cheers!"

They clinked their glasses, savoring the bubbly as it tickled their taste buds. Lexi blushed at the attention but felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. "Thank you all for being here to celebrate with me. It means the world. I'm really happy we're working on this together."

Zendaya grinned playfully. "Of course, we wouldn't miss it for anything. You made history today, Lexi!"

Blake nodded in agreement. "Absolutely! You're a force to be reckoned with, both on and off the screen."

Robert leaned in, his eyes twinkling with admiration. "Lexi, my dear, you never cease to amaze us. We're lucky to have you as our leading lady."

Andrew raised his glass and offered a heartfelt toast. "Here's to Lexi, who fearlessly tackled the track and left us all in awe. Although I'm never getting in your car again after watching you today."

Jon, who had been observing the dynamic between the cast, couldn't help but chime in as he stared at the group of friends. "Working with all of you has been a pleasure, but seeing this bond grow stronger day by day has been the cherry on top."

Cillian, typically reserved, spoke with a gentle smile. "Congratulations, Lexi. You were amazing today."

As the dinner progressed, they shared anecdotes from their time so far filming "Champion," reminiscing about the challenges and the triumphs. Amidst the laughter and clinking of glasses, the cast of the movie found solace in each other's company, knowing that they had become a family during their time filming over the summer.

The dishes kept coming, each more exquisite than the last, as the evening waltzed on. They savored every bite, their joy palpable. At that moment, they were not just actors but kindred spirits, united by a shared passion for their craft and a newfound friendship forged amidst the magic of filmmaking.

As the night drew to a close, and dessert was served, Lexi raised her glass one final time. "To the most incredible cast and crew of 'Champion.' Thank you all for being by my side, not just on the racetrack, but throughout this entire journey."

They all clinked glasses once more, savoring the sweetness of the moment, cherishing the memories they had created together. As the evening concluded, they departed the restaurant with hearts full of happiness, knowing that they had witnessed something extraordinary-a moment of celebration, friendship, and the indomitable spirit that made them true champions.

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the English racetrack where the excitement of a karting race was in full swing. A young Lexi stood next to her mother, Camille Heroux, both holding brightly decorated signs with "Go Lewis!" and "Go James!" emblazoned across them. The vibrant atmosphere buzzed with adrenaline and anticipation.

Camille Heroux, in her mid-thirties, was looking radiant as her blonde hair fell in waves down her back, her ocean blue eyes staring out across the track eagerly looking for a glimpse of her son.

"Mum, I want to race too!" Lexi exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with awe as she watched Lewis Hamilton and her older brother, James, skillfully maneuver their karts around the track. Currently, James and Lewis were battling for first and second place, something that happened almost all too often.

Camille smiled down at her enthusiastic daughter, her love for both James and Lexi radiating from her eyes. "Of course, baby! When you're older, you can do anything you set your mind to. But right now, you're still a little too young for karting."

Lexi pouted playfully, her dreams of racing temporarily put on hold. "But Mum! It's not fair!"

"Patience, sweetheart," Camille chuckled, ruffling Lexi's hair affectionately. "Time will fly, and before you know it, you'll be out there, racing like the wind."

"Will you come to my races?"

"Every single one."

As the race reached its thrilling climax, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line in first place, and James followed closely behind, securing second. The two young racers playfully bumped into each other, their competitive spirits still aflame even after the race.

"We did it again, Lewis!" James grinned, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

"You almost beat me, James!" Lewis laughed, his admiration for his friend evident.

The boys made their way over to where Lexi and Camille stood, still holding their signs high. Lexi embraced her brother tightly, her heart swelling with pride. "You were fantastic, James! I knew you could do it!" Alexandra raced to engulf Lewis in a hug too. "Well done Lewey!"

Camille joined in the joyful celebration, hugging both the boys. "Well done, both of you! You were fantastic out there!"

In the midst of the jubilation, James couldn't help but make a bold declaration, his eyes gleaming with ambition, as he jokingly raised a finger to his best friend. "One day, I'll be world champion, just you wait!"

Lewis chuckled, affectionately teasing his friend. "If ever you are World Champion, it won't be in Karting!"

Alexandra Heroux shot upright in her bed, her tear-streaked face pale against the slight light that was creeping into the room through the hotel curtains. It had been months since she'd dreamt of James, and yet, since she's started filming this movie, he was all she could think about, morning, noon, and night.

All her brother had ever wanted was to be a world champion - a dream that had been taken from him far too soon. With a sigh, Lexi rolled over in the bed to grasp her phone and checked the time silently.

1:28 am.

She groaned. She had to be at the make-up trailer in an hour and a half. With a yawn, she scrolled through her phone instead, reading her messages.

Tom:

You Ok Lex?

You were quiet at dinner tonight.

✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧

9:23 pm

Lewis:

Just checking in.

How was dinner?

Sorry Christian started talking about James

He's a dick

12:38 am

Are you ignoring me?

Nevermind, Tom said you were sleeping

He also said you were quiet tonight

Please, Lex, talk to me

1:30 am

Lexi:

You should be sleeping, Lew

You have a race tomorrow

Lewis:

Hey, I couldn't sleep.

Are you okay?

Lexi:

Yeah, just had a bad dream.

Are you okay? Nervous?

Lewis:

Did you dream about James?

Want me to come over?

I always get nervous.

Lexi

Thanks, Lew, but I'll be okay.

You need to rest. You've got a race to win tomorrow :)

Lewis:

I'm gonna try and sleep

Call me if you need anything

Love you, sis x

Lexi:

Love you bro x

Good luck, and I'll see you tomorrow.

4:56 am

Lexi:

I'm sorry I've been a shitty
person to you the past few years.

I know you're sleeping,
but I just need you to know.

After everything that
happened with James,

I couldn't handle being around you.

In almost every memory I
have with you, he was there too.

And I don't blame you for what happened

I know you blame yourself
but I don't blame you.

It was his own fault.

I just miss him so much. I look at you, and it hurts, because it
makes me think of him.

How he should look.
How he should be getting older,
and living his life.
How he should be with me.

He left when I needed him most Lew.

I don't know how I'll ever get through that.

So, I'm sorry for pushing you away, but I'm really glad we've reconnected.

I love you big bro x

6:30 am

Lewis:

He's so proud of you Alexandra.

I know it.

Because I am too.
