BEFORE I START THIS CHAPTER IVE JUST GOT TO APOLOGISE FOR THE CONSTANT CHANGE IN WHO PLAYS BLAKE PARKER😭

This is my first book and I am just trying to get my head around who I would want to play each character. I apologise greatly but this is the last time I will be changing any characters!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waking up the next day was a struggle.
My head is aching from the many drinks last night, and I can see all the guys sprawled out across my bedroom floor.
I guess none of them banged last night.
I rubbed my forehead with my palm, trying to get rid of the raging head ache I have. I climb out of the bed and over the motionless bodies on the floor, and walked out of the room.
My house looked perfectly fine so far, no hookers anywhere and nothing was broken so I guess we just went to sleep when we got back here. I got to the kitchen and grabbed some Advil for my headache before going to grab a glass of water when I heard footsteps.
I turned around and was met with a very hungover Josh.
"Hey man, you look rough," I told him, he gave me a pointed look and flicked me off before going to get a glass if water.
"Do you remember much of last night?" He asked me.
I tried to go back to last night, but all I remember was a red dress, blonde hair and a lot of dancing and drinks.
"Not really I just remember a blonde girl," I told him, shrugging.
Then it came back to me. The dancing, the sexy blonde, the way she disappeared like it didn't mean anything. The way her hips moved to the music, grinding on my waist. I grounded and tried to calm my thoughts before I got a major hard on in front of Josh. God that girl could dance, she was a new kind of sexy. Her body held nothing but hotness, however her eyes held some innocence. I remember the deep sea blue eyes looking at me as she bit her lip. Wow.
"Oh, shit. The hot blonde I danced with, how could I forget her," I told Josh, thinking back to the way that gorgeous blonde danced.
Josh chuckled at me.
"Yep, don't forget who she is though man. Jonathan Melody's secret daughter," he told me dramatically, drinking his water, and I groaned at the memory of her being his daughter, putting my head in my hands.
I don't think that would go very well, he would think I was playing some sort of game with his daughter to get back at him. I can imagine her introducing me to him as her boyfriend, wow that would earn me a fresh new black eye.
"Well think of it this way, Blake," Josh said pulling me out of my thoughts. "You've got that charity event today right?" I nodded and Josh walked over to the counter to sit on one of the stools. "Well maybe she will be there. She is his daughter anyway," he shrugged and I wanted to kiss him at the amazing idea.
"I think I might just do that," I told him patting him on the back before running upstairs to get ready for the event.
The event is for Cancer Research and Jonathan Melody does it every year. Business men and women around the world come to donate money, and their own time to the charity. I donate about 1 million dollars a year, just to do my part.
I assume that if it is Jonathan's event then his daughter should be there, but I have never seen her at any of his other events. I keep wondering why he never introduced me to her, I've met his sons and they are quite close friends of mine, besides our family rivalries.
I needed to see this girl again. Memories of last night filled my mind. The way her hips moved to the music, grabbing male, and even female, attention, the way her hair fell carelessly over her shoulders, surrounding her heart shaped face. Her sun kissed skin that I wanted to run my hands over forever, her enticing voice even though she only said one sentence. Her perfect blue eyes, that can hypnotise even the most stubborn people. Her small waist that my arms circled perfectly. Her curves moulding into mine in the most amazing way.
Wow, I really can't get rid of the image of this girl, she was perfect in every way.
I needed to find her, even if she was the daughter of my enemy.
~~
I was now sitting in my limo, drove by my own personal driver. I was wearing a black Armani suit, matched with a simple light blue shirt and a black tie. I had to look professional for these events, my father used to say, if you don't look the part, people won't believe you are the part.
We arrived at the place and I quickly looked in the mirror of my limo, gulped down the rest of the champagne in the bottle, before the door of my limo was opened.
I stepped out and the flashes from the crowd were unbelievable. People shouting requests and questions at me. I planted a smile on my face and walked down the red carpet to speak to some of the paparazzi.
I walked up to a nervous looking man, who looked like he would wet himself at any minute with excitement.
"Mr Parker, how is the business going at the moment?" He asked me, getting his notepad out, ready for my answers.
"The company is amazing at the moment, we have had amazing results with different businesses around the world, and we hope for it to carry on in the future," I told him firmly and he nodded, writing down my answer.
"This is one from the many admirers out there, are you in a relationship of any kind at the moment?" He asked me and I chuckled.
"No not at the moment, I am solely focused on my work, and hopefully in the future I might be ready for a relationship," I told him.
That was a lie. I was ready for a relationship. I needed someone who made me happy, who would get rid of all my worries, just by giving me a smile. I needed that. However, if I told them that, I would be getting many more questions, and I didn't have the time for that. I was on a mission.
I walked away from the man without saying goodbye and walked down the rest of the carpet, making sure to stop for a few more pictures.
I walked in and the room was extravagant. It looked like royalty, it was decorated precisely for this event, and even though it was my enemies event, it still looked fantastic.
"Mr Parker!" Someone shouted, I look around and saw Maria Melody, Jonathan's wife. She wore a black dress that went down to just below her knees, that made her green eyes stand out more. And her hair fell past her shoulders in small curls which made her look like a billionaires wife, which is exactly what she was.
"Oh dear, it is so great to see you," she told me affectionately, before kissing me on the cheek.
I have never had a problem with Mrs Melody, she was always like a second mother to me and Jacob. Her and my mother have been best friends for years. It is just my father and her husband that are at rivalry, the rest of the family are normal.
However, I couldn't help but think how much she resembled her daughter. The blonde hair was almost the same shade, and her captivating eyes.
"It's great to see you again Maria," I told her taking her hand and kissing it lightly. She giggled like a school girl at the gesture.
"Well come and see my husband, dear. He has been waiting to talk to you," she told me linking her arm with the crook of mine and guiding me in the direction of her husband.
Jonathan was a tall and broad man. He had light grey hair and a slight beard growing on his face. I have never seen the man smile unless he is with his wife, besides that he has a stone cold expression on his face.
"Ah, Blake nice to see you again," he told me once we had approached him, bringing his hand out for me to shake. He put his other hand up towards Maria and she scurried away as fast as she could. How can he be that horrible to his own wife?
"Let's not start with the pleasantries, Jonathan, is there anything that you need?" I told him impatiently, ignoring his outstretched hand making him smirk and the man next to him give me a shocked look before walking away into the crowd.
"Yes actually it is about the front page news Blake," he told me and I cocked an eyebrow, confused.
He saw my expression and reached behind him, where a man placed a magazine in his hands. His face held no emotion, but his eyes held so much anger and I was confused why, as he handed it to me.
I opened the folded paper and was shocked to find me and the blonde from last night on the front.
Oh shit.
It was a picture of just when we started kissing. Our lips are locked, my arms are wrapped around her waist and hers are wrapped, securely, around my neck, her fingers in my hair. It did look quite erotic.
'Melody girl and Parker boy get up close and personal at club opening.'
Loophole club was opened yesterday, and it looks like the club opening opened new relationships.
Blake Parker, son of George Parker, was spotted yesterday entering the club and eyewitnesses say that he had gone to sit with his brother, Jacob Parker, and his best friend, Josh Tyler, however that was not how Blake ended the night. Later on Blake had gone to the dance floor and immediately noticed the gorgeous model. He had begun dancing in a definitely not innocent way with the blonde bombshell, who was later identified as Victoria Melody, Jonathan Melody's daughter.'
Victoria Melody. That was her name.
'The two got up close and personal on the dance floor last night, according to someone at the club they said, 'Everyone had their eyes on Victoria that night, however she only had eyes for Blake Parker.' Well how cute.'
Could a new relationship be blossoming between a Melody and a Parker, I sure hope so, I mean look how cute they look together!'
Oh no.
"I don't care what is going on between me and you, I will not allow you to use my daughter to get to me," he told me sternly and took the newspaper from my hands. I looked up at the annoying human being, who just happened to make the sexiest woman in the world, and smirked.
"I'm sorry Jonathan, but I had no idea that she was your daughter before I approached her," I told him truthfully and he scoffed.
"Blake I am not stupid. I know my daughter is an attractive woman, every man knows who she is," he said.
"Well why was I not introduced to her at other events?"
"That is none of your business, do not try and--" He began but he was cut off by a hand being placed on his shoulder. I followed the tanned hand all the way up and was met with the beauty from last night.
Victoria.
Her hair was down, covering some of her face, since she was looking at Jonathan next to her. She wore a long, tight black dress, with cut outs at her waist, which just showed off her amazing curves even more. She looked effortlessly stunning.
She still hadn't noticed me as she looked at the side of her father's head.
"Jonathan, Mr Kingston is looking for you," Victoria told him. Why did she call him Jonathan and not dad or father?
"I will be there in a minute Victoria. But first I would like you to formally meet Blake Parker, Blake this is my very beautiful daughter Victoria Melody," she looked up then at me and her eyes widened in realisation and a smile tugged on her plump pink lips.
"Nice to meet you Mr Parker, I have heard a lot about you," she says and I can see her restraining from smirking, before she stuck out her hand for me to shake.
"I think we are past the hand shaking stages don't you love?" I said, making her smirk and Jonathan growl lowly.
"Yes I do think so Mr Parker," she told me and leaned over to kiss my cheek lightly, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Now I sound like a fucking girl.
"Right that is enough," Jonathan interrupted rudely.
"Yes Jonathan, I am going to speak to Mother," she told him politely, but when he turned back to me I saw her flick him off making me laugh loudly and her giggle.
This girl was something else. She had a mask, she had secrets and I couldn't help but be intrigued by her mysteriousness. The way she was so polite around her father, but it is obvious she shows some dislike towards him.
She walked away, her hips swaying as she walked and I couldn't help but stare. Biting my lip to hold in a groan.
I was snapped out of my rather dirty thoughts, when I heard a cough.
I looked over to Jonathan again and saw him standing next to a slightly overweight girl, she had a dark blue dress on that fell to the floor, hiding her legs, thankfully. Her black hair was in a tight bun on the side of her head. I know it sounds mean, but she definitely wasn't the prettiest flower of the bunch.
"Blake Parker, meet my niece Jasmine Hantley," he introduced her. She reached out her hand for me to shake, showing me her chipped, manicured nails.
I didn't bother shaking her hand I just smiled a tight lipped smile and walked in the direction of where Victoria left.
I saw her standing at the bar, leaning over and talking, obviously flirtatiously, to the barman, getting his full attention. I felt a pang of jealousy in my gut, but I pushed it aside and walked over to where the blonde was stood.
I walked behind her and the barman, obviously realising who I was, walked away to go and serve others. I walked right up to her and snaked my arms around her petite waist. She jumped at my motion, but didn't try to move.
"You don't understand how much I have thought of you since last night," I told her, nuzzling my head into her neck and kissing it softly.
"Oh Mr Parker I didn't think you would remember, you were pretty wasted when you left," she told me, biting her lip to hold in a moan, or a laugh. I nipped at her earlobe, earning a slap to my hand, that was still wrapped around her small waist.
"Of course I did Victoria, how could I forget such a beauty," I told her honestly, leaving small kisses on her neck, still. She didn't respond, so I thought I would carry on.
"I know what you're up to by the way."
"And what is that Blake?"
"Trying to annoy daddy by messing around with his enemy," I told her and she laughed lightly, leaning her head against my shoulder.
"Hmm, and would that be such a bad idea?" She asked me, tilting her head slightly to the side on my shoulder to make eye contact with me, and I shook my head, meaning no.
"I just want to know why," I told her.
"A story for another time Mr Parker," she said, turning around in my hold, I still kept my arms around her waist, firmly.
"But I am not using you to annoy my father, don't worry," she smiled and started to walk away, but I wasn't finished, I wasn't letting her go again.
"Stay," I whispered to her, resting my forehead on hers.
"I have to go and entertain my fathers guests Mr Parker, you know how it is," she told me teasingly making me chuckle.
She rested her hands delicately on my shoulders, whilst I still had my arms encircled around her waist.
"I just have one question and then you can leave, I promise."
"Go on then," she said, wrapping her arms around my shoulders, keeping her forehead against mine. Her minty breath fanning my face every time she spoke, and her fruity smelling perfume filling my senses every time I breathed in.
"Why has your father never introduced you to me Victoria?" She tensed slightly at my question, and worry filled her, normally, happy eyes.
"Another story for another time Blake," she whispered, disappointing me again.
What was with this girl? She was so secretive, yet so enticing to me. I couldn't help but feel drawn to her. Every time she speaks she had my full attention. Who am I kidding, every time she walks in the fucking room she has my full attention.
She is like a drug. A toxic, addictive drug that was going to leave me in deep shit, but will be the most amazing thing in my life.
"Well can you at least dance with me, considering you aren't going to answer any of my questions?" I asked, humour obvious in my voice. She laughed, throwing her head back giving me a full view of her glistening white teeth. Her smile making me smile.
"I would love to Blake." I nodded and grabbed her small hand in my big one and started to lead her over to the dance floor.
We got to the centre of the dance floor, people obviously had their eyes focused on us.
Considering this was a more formal place for us to dance, Victoria turned around to face me, pacing one hand in mine and the other on my shoulder.
I snaked my other arm, that wasn't clasped with hers, around her small waist.
The song 'Human by Christina Perri' started playing, the song matching perfectly with our movements.
She slowly moved us around the room, me giving her full lead, well more like her taking full lead.
She placed her forehead on my chest in an affectionate way, and I sighed at the feeling.
"Will you ever answer my questions?" I asked suddenly. She lifted her head out of my chest and smiled a small smile.
"Honestly?" I nodded. "No," I looked at her disappointed by her answer.
"Why?"
"I don't trust anyone but myself Blake. You need to accept that," she told me, sighing and putting her head in my shoulder once again.
"One date?"
"I don't do dates Blake. That's not the type of person I am," she told me and started to unwind herself from my hold.
"Just stay then," I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her back to my chest.
She didn't say anything, just leaned up and lightly pressed her lips to mine. But I didn't want a peck. So I placed my hands on either side of her face and started to kiss her like my life depended on it.
She kissed back instantly making me smile into the kiss. She moved her arms again to gently wrap around my waist. Our lips where moving quickly against each other's, when I heard a rude cough.
I groaned and put my head into the crook of Victoria's neck, obviously frustrated by the person who had interrupted us, making her laugh.
"What?" I snapped at the person, not even looking up to see who it is.
"Victoria your father asked me to come and collect you, Tyler needs you at home," after the man had said this, I looked up and saw someone who looked like one of Jonathan's drivers.
Who is Tyler? Is it another sibling I don't know about? Oh if it is a boyfriend I am literally going to burst in frustration.
"What does he need me for Shaun?" She asked impatiently.
"I'm not sure ma'am I was just told to collect you."
"Okay I will be there in a second," and with that he walked away.
"Who is Tyler?"
"Another story for another time Blake," she told me again, adding to my frustration.
"Please tell me he is not a boyfriend," I said looking desperately into her blue eyes.
"No he's not," she told me simply, smiling slightly at my obvious jealousy. Standing on her tiptoes to give me one last peck before leaving me alone in the middle of the dance floor, again.
People had started to go back to their party after she left, obviously there's no more to gossip about.
After running my hands through my hair, once again, I started to walk around and see if Josh was about.
Josh's father owned a lot of hotels, obviously not as much as my father's or Victoria's, but his father died 6 years ago after a plane crash. So at the age of 18 Josh had to learn how to take over the company.
I tried to help him the best I could, I even offered for my father to take over until he was ready, but he was determined to make his father proud.
I walked up the stairs and noticed Josh talking to another business man. I snook over discretely, making sure not to disturb their conversation.
When the man walked away, I strolled over to him with two champagne glasses in my hands.
"Seen that dance man, wasn't as hot as last night, but she sure is a looker isn't she?" Josh said making me chuckle.
"She sure is, but she has so many secrets," I told him placing my champagne glass down on the table and running my hands through my hair, again.
"What sort of secrets?"
"Like why she hates her father, or why she wants to use me to get to him, which she denied by the way. And the most frustrating is who the hell this Tyler guy is."
"I think I might know who Tyler is," Josh told me and I looked up, taking my head out of my hands and motioned for him to go on.
"Well there is this guy that Jonathan has had around Victoria since she was 16, Tyler Mason. He is really rich, man. Apparently, Jonathan hopes that one day Victoria will grow out of her partying 'shenanigans' and settle down. Get married. And he hopes it will be to Tyler."
Wow. I wasn't expecting that. So, this Tyler guy was someone who she was supposed to get married to in the future. Well she could have told me that before she started kissing me!
"This girl makes me so angry Josh!"
"But look at her Blake, she's so fucking worth it," and I agreed. I know she was worth it.
I wanted to be with Victoria Melody, more than anything right now.
All I had to do was get over them walls she has around her heart and find out them secrets she has been hiding.
I am sick of this 'Another story for another time' no when I see her next the time will be then.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I just want to tell you guys that Blake won't always be calling her Victoria, probably Vicky or Tori?
I'm not sure yet.
Well just thought I would tell you guys😋
Adios!🇪🇸
