Being boosted by La Brava's quirk Gentle was able to catch the pros by surprise he used his now enhanced speed aswell as jumping of his elastic trampolines made it hard for the heroes to keep up
But Hawks wasn't known as one of the fastest heroes for nothing once he was able to get his bearings he was able to keep up with Gentle for the most part but with him constantly jumping around it made it difficult for Hawks to land a decent blow
Gentle dodged a punch from Hawks and raised his hands in the air creating layers of elastic
" Gentley sandwich " Gentle said dropping the layers onto Hawks trapping him
He then turned his attention to Crystal with a look of determination
" This is no longer an ambition I hold simply for myself unless I want my name to be forgotten I must persevere my aims are not so trivial I would abandon them simply because you asked " he said launching himself at Crystal
She created a wall infront of her that Gentle smashed into slowing him down she then covered her fist in her quirk and attempted to punch Gentle but he jumped back just in time to avoid it
His eyes widend as he saw the crystal on her fist was glowing
" I wasn't asking " she growled as a beam shot from her fist and hit Gentle in the chest
Gentle crashed coughing repeatedly after having the air knocked out of him
" Another trick " he said frustrated he leaped back into to action attempting to land a finishing blow
Crystal was at a disadvantage she didn't have the speed of Hawks but that didn't mean she was going to give up she repeatedly shielded her self with her quirk and landed shots where she could
" Your a former UA students gone pro you must understand " Gentle shouted during his relentless assault
" Only thing I have to do is stop you " she said
Gentle sprang off one of his trampolines reeling his fist back Crystal raised her arms in a x shape covering then in crystal to protect herself
Gentle's fist connected cracking the crystal Gentle then began pushing turning into a contest of strength one Crystal was going to lose
She grunted trying not to lose ground but La Brava made it difficult
" Defeat them you have to " La Brava shouted and as if instantly Gentle gained another boost
She grinded her teeth it felt as if her back was going to snap any second she formed some crystal behind her for support she also tried to trap Gentle but whenever Crystal would begin trapping his feet in her quirk he'd just use his newfound strength to stomp it into dust
" You " Gentle said leaning close to Crystal's face " TELL ME WHY IS IT YOU BECAME A HERO WHY ARE YOU A HERO " he shouted
Crystal's eyes widend it wasn't something she thought of often infact being a hero was never part of the plan going to UA was never part of the plan she thought
But then a flash appears in her mind and she sees a memory

Crystal is standing infront of UA's gates it's her first day at the prestigious school she scoffs as she stares at the large building how could someone like her a former thug who had nothing deserve a chance to attend UA
It frustrated her she should be in prison not even she should be dead she should of died years ago but yet somehow she survived all those years on the street
She then feels a strong hand settle on her shoulder she doesn't have to look to know who it is but she does
" It's that danm hero obviously" she thinks the one that saved her for who knows what reason the one that believes she would make a great hero she scoffs again " his probably taken to many knocks to the head during all his villain fights "

She looks over at the women who came along with them the one who had greeted her into their home with open arms she has a big smile across her face and a proud look as she looks at Crystal
She then looks at the boy alongside her a 9 year old that keeps calling her onee-chan she had already drop kicked the boy dozens of times for calling her that but his a persistent little shit she'll give him that much

She didn't even understand why the second tried to befriend her the all time and it wasn't long until he dragged her away to meet another second year a girl with bunny features

Crystal is standing in the middle of ruins of the place she was beginning to call home
It was the day of the sports festival it was supposed to be a happy evening she had won beating every other first year to be number 1 and yet it was anything but happy
Her eyes were wide with shock as she stared at the women lying in a pool of blood on the floor there wasn't a part of the women that wasn't covered in the crimson liquid
Crystal was too shocked to move she couldn't tear her eyes from the sight she felt something latch onto her side she turned her head and saw it was Y/N tears flowing down his cheeks as he clutched onto her for dear life
She looked back at the women she wasn't moving Crystal had seen death before all those years on the street exposed her to some brutal stuff but it was different those weren't people she cared for heck she didn't even know a single one of them
But this this was someone she knew someone who had shown her love despite her constant resistance she didn't want to believe the women lying infront of her was dead but she knew without a doubt she was
The word escaped her mouth a word she thought she would never call anyone
" M-mom " she said in a shakey voice
A burst of laughter could be heard from the other side of the ruins it wasn't a laugh of a ordinary man it was the laugh of something else sure he looked like a man but Crystal knew better when she looked at him a mix of emotions had overcome her she was angry why
Why did he have to ruin it when she had finally found some happiness why did he have to come out of that danm hole that hell
When she looked at him only one word came to mind " Monster "
" Mom " he said in a wail of laughter he eventually calmed down and shook his head " Enough of that it's about Tim's we go home " he said
" Home " she thought that's no home it's a hell and she'd rather die then go back
She clutches the little Y/N by her side trying to protect him but she was shaking from head to toe her legs felt like they were going to give in any second
The " Monster " walked slowly to them as if he didn't have a care in the world
Crystal trembled she had to do something but she wasn't an idiot she knew she didn't stand a chance against him her lips quivered as she opened her mouth to speak
" G-go away " she stuttered out terrified
" Come now is that really the way to speak to an old friend " he said still approaching
Tears where now falling from her eyes flowing down her cheeks
" JUST GO AWAY YOU MONSTER " she yelled
The " Monster " stopped in his tracks he clutched at his hearts
" Oh your words wound me " he said dramatically in an instant as if he teleported he was infront of the pair

Crystal watched as the man held his hand out to her
" Let's go I'm growing tired of this" he said
Crystal gulped she glanced at Y/N
Wondering if she went with him perhaps he would spare the little boy
But before she could answer blue blur appeared she knew straight away it was Skrimisher
He smashed his fist into the mans side sending him flying
He looked over at the two " Are you guys okay " he asked frantically
Y/N pointed at the bloody women " M-mom " he said shakily
The hero looked to where the boy was pointing and his eyes were wide with shock
The mountain of a man was trembling
" Koyuki " he muttered shakingly

Crystal snapped back to reality
" The reason I'm a hero " she said
Gentle stood up getting ready for another bout
" Is to stop family's from being torn to pieces " she said looking at Gentle with determination and a bit if anger
Gentle was about to charge at her when she sent a large wave of crystal at him he smashed it but the force put him off balance
When he looked at Crystal he saw she had coated her hand in her quirk and it was glowing once again
Gentle sighed " Sorry La Brava " he muttered and then everything went black
Gentle was knocked unconscious from the attack and La Brava ran to his side trying to wake him up
Crystal just watched " I need to clear my head " she thought walking off
It wasn't long till Hound dog came along and took control of the situation
As Crystal was walking off someone grabbed her hand bringing her to a halt
She let out a sigh and looked at her feet " What do you want Keigo"
Hawks had known her long enough to know she wasn't going to want to talk about what was going on in her head so he decided to take a different approach
" I hear your brother's class is having a concert " he said with a smirk
Crystal glanced at him " Yeah so what doe..." before she could finish Hawks pulled her in close amd flapped his wings taking off into the air
" Keigoooo " she growled
He simply laughed as they made their way to UA
Crystal eventually stopped fussing and relaxed
" Your annoying you know that " she said plainly
He looked at her and smirked " C'mon you love me " he said
" Your so full of yourself " she said rolling her eyes
He laughed again as they landed at venue for the concert everyone was getting ready for it to begin
" Well let's see how this goes Y/N " she thought
