7th July - Dear Diary,
I love my life! Today was my 7th birthday. It was so much fun. My friends came to attend, and even my parents' friends came! I actually only wanted my friends to come, but it's OK. I didn't want to make my day bad; mom says that if I make my day bad, dad will be angry.

I don't like mom and dad :( They say that I can't play with my friends. Why not? They sent me to spend some time with my annoying neighbour instead. I hate them both.

My parents are getting worse. Mom starts crying when I bring up playing with my friends and Dad starts getting angry. So controlling. What is their problem? My friends are a bit playful, but they're not that bad. I wish mom would stop crying. She's still wailing, I can hear her from the top of the stairs.

Mom is lying down next to me on the bed. There's some sticky funny smelling pomegranate juice around her. It tastes funny too. Hmmm..... I like it. I think I'll lick some more.

Dad came home, and he's really angry with me. Mom hasn't moved. He keeps saying it's my fault. It's not my fault, why isn't he looking at me? But it's OK, my friends said they'd help me. They're next to him now too. Everything will be OK, they're saying. I love my life.
Hmm...... dad also slipped on some sticky red juice.
