Point of View: Bismarck (Kansen)

SIX YEARS AFTER THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST REVOLUTION,

WE ARE WITNESSING TODAY THE LAUNCHING OF THE THIRD AND LARGET BATTLESHIP

OF OUR NEW FLEET.

MAY THE GERMAN OFFICERS AND SAILORS WHO ARE WORTHY

OF THE HONOR OF INITIATING OF THIS SHIP PROVE WORTHY OF THE MAN WHO'S NAME IT BEARS.

MAY THE SPIRIT OF THE IRON CHANCELLOR POUR INTO THEM.

MAY IT BE WITH THEM IN ALL THEIR ACTIONS DURING THEIR FORTUNATE MISSIONS IN PEACETIME,

BUT MAY IT ALSO, IF EVER NECESSARY, SERVE AS THEIR GUIDING LIGHT DURING THEIR HOURS

OF THEIR GRAVEST DUTY.

WITH THIS BURNING WISH, THE GERMAN NATION IS WELCOMING ITS NEW BATTLESHIP-

-BISMARCK.

Underground Hospital

Depth: 30 meters (98 feet)

Port of Hamburg, Empire of the Iron Blood.

Underneath the lavish banquet hall, was a spiderweb of rooms and underground chambers, capable of sustaining the city of Hamburg and its people for up to two whole years in the case of an attack,

These included giant quarters for sleeping, dining, and even a large swimming pool.

Among these many accommodations were also some of the most advanced medical facilities in the world, capable of treating hundreds of patients at a time

However, this individual patient was different.

Point of view: Two different surgeons

————

"Her vitals seem stable, but she isn't conscious." A surgeon remarked, looking at a computer screen displaying heartbeat

"How long has she been out?" Another surgeon asked

"About an hour, she was reported to have been throbbing in the head, despite no apparent head trauma." The first surgeon said

"Really, no head trauma? Is she sick? Can a Kansen even get sick?" The second questioned

The patient in question, was none other than Bismarck, who had been hospitalized underground, for fear of rumors spreading if not dealt with secretly

"Not with any disease I know of. Their bodies are artificial and basically just like that of robots, so I highly doubt it." The first surgeon said

"They run on something though right? Those glowing cubes?" The second surgeon said

"Yes, they're called wisdom cubes, every Shipgirl has one, I'm checking her's status right now" The first surgeon said, reaching for a big black and white striped button

*Bloot!

Upon pressing the button, a large machine descended from the ceiling, and started scanning the vital areas of Bismarck's unconscious body.

The machine started bringing up a constant feed of the insides,

All of the organs and vitals were untouched virtually,

"Okay, scan is done, no organ damages, so whatever this source of pain is, it has to be something on a smaller level." The first surgeon said.

The monitor then started beeping, and the first surgeon became much more focused.

"Wait a second....

Heart rate spike, she might be waking up."

Her arm flinched,

"....no..."

".....noooo...." Bismarck muttered in her sleep.

She then fell back limp.

"What happened?!" The second surgeon said.

"I don't know, heart rate spiked and the patient moved, she could just be having a nightmare." The first surgeon said.

"But would a nightmare result in head trauma?" The second one said,

I don't know, I'm trying to see what her brain is making up right now.

The computer gathered information from the inside of her brain, since Kansans were different from humans, and it was a computer process to scan and identify the information that was inside of her mind.

The computer then took the results, and formed it into a viewable image, creating a slideshow

This is the results from Bismarck's mind:

"Holy cow! It's like a full length film going on in there!" The first surgeon said, surprised.

The second surgeon took a look at the screen,

"Who is that guy? He looks mad." The second surgeon said, pointing to the man with a weird mustache and a hooked cross on his arm, holding his fist in the air.

"I don't know, haven't heard of him before, ....that..." the first surgeon remarked, trailing off

"That what?" The second surgeon questioned

"That symbol on his arm, what do you think it means?"

"I don't know, haven't seen it anywhere around here....."

"Why would her mind be creating an image of a symbol that doesn't exist, and more importantly, why is she dreaming about it like if it was real?" The first surgeon remarked

"Examine the wisdom cube harder, maybe there's something wrong with it...." The second surgeon said

"Alright, running a second scan, Wisdom cube integrity test."

The machine scanned the wisdom cube inside of her body,

*VRRRRM!

"Alright, the scan is complete, checking the results now...." The first surgeon said,

"What did you find?" The second surgeon said.

"Holy cow, her wisdom cube...."

"What? What! just spit it out!"

"Her wisdom cube has been cracked!" The first surgeon said.

"Bismarck's wisdom cube has been what?!" The second surgeon said,

"Cracked! There a small crevice about half a millimeter long, in the side of the cube....

This could result in so many damages....

Her memories are lost, some of them anyway, this could also result in things such as coughing and wheezing spontaneously, shortness of breath..."

"What else?"

"I'm looking, I'm looking....

Her rigging cannot be summoned, either." The first surgeon said.

The second surgeon froze

".....God help her when the grand admiral finds out.." the second surgeon said.

"Is it possible to be fixed?" The second surgeon said.

"Not as far as I know"

"So.... Bismarck is stuck... like a normal human being?" The second surgeon said.

"I think so...." The first surgeon said,

"Gottverd@#$#"

*SLAM!

The door flung open.

"WHERE IS BISMARCK! AND WHY ISN'T SHE UPSTAIRS!" An angry voice shouted at the top of his lungs.

It was a familiar short and bearded man

Grand admiral schmekelberger

"Oh! Grand admiral!" The first surgeon said

Both surgeons rose from their seats and saluted

"Enough with the pleasantries, why is my battleship down here, and not in the banquet hall!" grand admiral schmekelbeger shouted

"Well, sir. She is in a comatose state, she is having a terrible mental issue, I think she cannot be present,

She needs time to recover!" The second surgeon said.

"I missed the part where having a little nightmare is my problem, get her upstairs! She can still walk, can't she!" The grand admiral shouted.

.
.
. Both surgeons looked at each other
.
.

"Sir....."

"Wake her up!"
.
.
.
.
.
.

"That is an ORDER!" The grand admiral shouted, putting his hand on his pistol holster

"Y-yes sir...."

——————

The wake-up stim when being injected hurt like being stung by twenty angry wasps at once, but the surgeons could be very well be faced with execution if they failed to comply.

*kshhh

"Please be okay... please be okay..."

Bismarck's eyes slowly began opening, revealing the light being shone in her face.

She blinked a few times

"Urgh... head hurts...." She said

"Alright, she's awake, please take it easy on her,

her wisdom cube has been damaged...."

"Damaged?! Does that give her the excuse to refuse orders!?" The grand admiral shouted.

"N-No, no sir. But she can't summon her riggi-" the surgeon said.

*BANG!

Bismarck's bloodshot eyes zoomed to an open state

The grand admiral fired his gold-plated Luger PO8 into the roof

"I. DONT. CARE.

IF SHES DOWN HERE, THEN SHES NOT PLEASING MY GUESTS!" The grand admiral shouted.

The grand admiral then looked down at Bismarck still on the medical bed.

"You! Get up and get dressed in your finest clothing! NOW!

And then, get upstairs as soon as possible!" The grand admiral shouted.

"...mff...." Was the only response Bismarck got off, her mouth still frozen to the point where she couldn't form words

"Still not awake eh'?"

*SMACK!

He slapped her right across the face

"GET UP YOU WORTHLESS INVESTMENT!" He shouted at Bismarck,

The first surgeon moved towards the admiral, fists balled.

The grand admiral pointed his pistol at him,

"Now, now, think very carefully about what you are going to do..." the grand admiral said.

The smoking barrel of his loaded pistol was enough to get the surgeon to back off.

"Now all of you stay out of my sight!

You have your orders Bismarck!

NOW ACCOMPLISH THEM!" The grand admiral shouted.

*SLAM

The door slammed shut, leaving two appalled surgeons, and one demoralized Bismarck behind.

"Say, that angry guy in the photo..." the second surgeon said.

"Yeah?"

"Maybe it's a parallel... to a certain someone who just recently visited." The second surgeon said, refusing to name the certain someone,
