WILBUR POV:
that dream.
wilbur still couldn't get over it.
the egg with the bow, what was it? who was it? the dream had been faint, and wilbur could only capture slight glimpses of it.
everytime wilbur tried to grasp it back it would begin to fade even more.
"wilbur."
"WILBUR."
"WILBUR. FUCKING. SOOT!" quackity snapped in his face
wilbur blinked a few times and quackity stood there with his arms crossed
"you were zoned out for quite a long time, something on your mind?" quackity asked, genuinely curious
you. oh fuck, shut up random voice in my head.
wilbur paused, tilted up his circular glasses and replied "nope!" and popped the "p"
quackity just groaned and rolle his eyes while the wind ruffled his hair slightly.
"alright come with me, we're going to the bar to check out the situation wether you like it or not." quackity spat
wilbur just followed while looking down, not saying a single word.
what did that dream mean?
i should talk to someone about it.
but who?
"wilbur." quackity pushed me slightly "we're here."
i mumbled something and went inside with him
"you seem different." quackity said in his normal tone, as if he was talking to his best friend. yeah right.
"huh?" wilbur tilted his head and smiled
" you're more quiet then usual, usually you'd be screaming and shouting weird stuff, or just acting like a fucking clown." quackity briefly smiled
"maybe im just not in the mood." wilbur sighed and leaned on a nearby stool while quackity organized a few bottles that some visitors had caused a mess out of.
quackity questioned the bard "has anyone caused trouble recently? today?"
"im afraid they left around an hour after sir, " the bard said quietly
quackity sighed and said a quick thanks before the bard bowed and left for the storage room
I passed him a cigar, he looked surprised and took it glady.
"so, what's up? " quackity questioned me
"nothing!" I said lying, and put one of my feet up on another stool nearby
"Don't fuck with me wilbur. I know somethings wrong." quackity demanded while gritting his teeth together
" and I know somethings wrong with you too." wilbur replied, avoiding the question smoothly
his eyes hardened and he started grinding his teeth together, a signal that he was highly irritated or about to blow.
"you keep checking your fucking watch every 10 minutes, what? you got a date?" wilbur snickered and mocked
"don't fuck with me, you've been all whiny and quiet all day, not that I care, but you're even not speaking to tommy." he asked seriously
this was their way of teasing, and wilbur loved it, but quackity took it seriously and hated it.
"that reminds me, I need to go." quackity checked his time again and grabbed his bag
"hey!- where's toms going again?" I yelled and grinned
"how the fuck am I supposed to know?!" he yelled back
ah wonderful.
he needed to find his own screaming childlike brother again.
