The group had arrived at the apartment after a short walk the only two missing people where Sam and Isaac, Tara knew that he needed space after what she had said and she hated herself for the way she talked to him. She hated seeing him sad.
Ever since Woodsboro the two had this weird tension around them every time they where together but neither Tara nor Isaac did something against it. Isaac knew he loved Tara but he also knew that Tara didn't want a relationship at the time so he stayed as a friend.
He didn't just stay for Tara he also stayed for Sam, in some ways they could understand each other in a way the others couldn't as the both had descendants that where past ghostfaces, they knew what it felt like to not understand why they became ghostface or the feeling and the fear of becoming something they had feared to become for so long.
They sat in the same boat, when the rumours where spread online about Sam and Isaac how they orchestrated the whole thing and pinned the murders on Richie and Amber, it got hard for Isaac he started to isolate himself from the rest of the group and stayed in the apartment most of the time. The of them just understood each other's problem.
Sam and Isaac where sitting in the hallway on the stairs mostly just thinking about what had happened and how much their life's had changed in just a year.
"You know when we where attacked back in Woodboro, I was ready to die for Tara, you know that?" Isaac said out of the blue as he stared at the door in front of him.
"Yeah, I know she means a lot to you." Sam said as she looked over to him, "So, Sam just a question but what are you doing here?"
"I'm here for Tara, I left her for fife years thinking I would protect her which I couldn't in the end." Sam told him.
"What happened wasn't your fault, I realised that a while ago that neither you or me are at fault her the only two who are would be Richie and Amber." Isaac said as the door opened and Danny walked in, "I'm gonna leave you two know, don't do anything stupid."
"What?" Sam said confused as she stood up as Isaac started to walk upstairs, "Don't play dump Carpenter, I already know."
Sam smiled as she turned back around to Danny who was know behind her as Isaac quickly run up the stairs to the apartment. As he got in the apartment nearly everyone was sitting on the couch or standing and watching the recent news.
"Hey, guys." Isaac called out as he closed the door making his presence known, "Hey, where is Tara?"
"Her room." Mindy said as she looked over to him with a smile, "Okay, see you later."
Isaac walked into Tara's room, seeing that the door was open slightly. When he walked in he saw Quinn sitting on the bed next to Tara. The two girls looked up at the boy who smiled at both of them, which made Tara sigh happily as she now knew that he wasn't angry at her, "I will let you two talk." Quinn said as she looked back to Tara.
Quinn lest the room on her way out she hugged the boy and closed the door behind her. Tara sighed and looked over to where Isaac was standing.
"I'm sorry for what I said." Tara said after a short time as she looked at the ground. Isaac walked over to the end of the bed before sitting besides the younger Carpenter, their was a moment of silence between them, "You have nothing to apologise for, your right I mostly came her because of you but that wasn't the only reason why and I'm not mad at you. I could never be mad at you."
"Still I shouldn't have said the things to you or Sam. I know both of you are just trying to keep me safe and still I got upset about it and lashed out on both of you." Tara said with a sigh at the end.
"Hey." Isaac said as he grabbed onto her hand, "Look at me, please."
When Tara looked up at him, she saw everything in his eyes but sadness, "It's okay and you shouldn't be upset about."
Isaac grinned at Tara as he pushed her shoulder slightly to get Tara to crack a smile, "And your hot when your mad." Isaac said making Tara chuckle and punch his arm, "Shut up."
After a short moment, Tara got silent again and looked down, "It's just after what happened last year. I don't want that it's affects my future. I mean look at you, you never really go out and when you do someone recognize's you for something your not. And what if it's happen's again. I guess I'm scared and don't want it to happen again."
"I know it's hard and that I can't promise you that it won't happen again but there is one thing that I can promise you." Isaac said, "Yeah, what's that?"
"That I won't leave no matter how mad you get at me for protecting you, the only thing that's important to me is that you and Sam are okay and safe, you two are the only family I have." Isaac said as he looked at Tara with a sad smile on his face.
"But what is if it happens again?" Tara questioned quietly, "And they trie to kill you."
As Isaac doesn't say anything, Tara looks back up and sees that he is already looking at her, their faces where inches away from each other's, Isaac nodded his head, "I would kill them first." Tara didn't say anything just looked into his eyes, that where telling her everything he said was true, "I'd kill them... just for you."
Isaac didn't register what happened at first, but soon kissed back as Tara had smashed their lips together, his hands went to the girls waist, kissing her slightly harder than before, it was something he had longed for ever since their first kiss. Tara pulled away for air, but directly after pulled Isaac back in and kissed him wanting more, the kiss was getting more and more heated as Tara wrapped her arms around the boys neck and pulled im closer to her.
Both where smiling into the kiss, Isaac licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance which Tara granted him without any hesitation. Neither Isaac nor Tara wanted the moment to end but the opening of the door brought upon them.
"Did I leave my phone-." Someone said, making the pair on the bed pull away from each other immediately, as they did they saw Quinn standing at the door looking at the two of them, "Oh shit. Um did - did I just cock block you?"
"What?" Tara asked at the same time as Isaac, making Quinn smile, "I cock blocked you both."
"Uh," Isaac sat on Tara's bed, staring at Quinn as he heard Tara speak up, "Don't ever walk in like that."
"Right, sorry." She apologised and grabbed her phone that she had left earlier, "Just left my phone..."
Isaac cleared his throat awkwardly as he stood up from the bed, "I guess, I will go back in my room and grab a shower."
"Okay, but come back." Tara said from where she was sat.
After a quick shower to wash of the drink that was spilled on him early in the evening, Isaac was sat together with the rest of the group in the living room watching the news, as they saw what had happened everyone in the room was either anxious or confused on why the other's reacted the way they did.
Isaac sighed as he looked at everyone who was watching the tv, "I'll get Sam." He said as he knew that she was still downstairs with Danny.
"I'll go." Chad said as he was already standing and directly jogged out, the group could hear him call out for Sam.
Isaac looked over to Tara and as her eyes not once left the tv, it was clear that she was scared, Isaac grabbed Tara's hand trying to give her some comfort. Making Tara look at him, she saw the fear in his eyes the same way he could see that she was scared, "It'll be okay, your gonna be okay, I promise."
Tara just hold his hand tighter in her's, soon Sam rushed into the apartment after Chad. Danny also came along as he was holding a box of beer, Sam looked at everyone, "What's going on?"
Quinn smiled as she pointed over to Danny, "Cute boy, nice."
Isaac pointed over to the tv while Sam stood next to Chad, watching the man on the news explain what had happened recently. Mindy looked up at Sam as she was sat together with Anika, "Holy shit, that's that chode from our films studies class."
This made Tara look up at Sam as she knew that she wouldn't take the news well, the older one of the two Carpenter walked over to the kitchen, both Tara and Isaac followed after, "Pack a bag, we leave in ten!"
"Sam!" Tara said trying to get her attention and to stop her.
"We're getting out of the city." Sam told her sister as she grabbed a knife, "You to Isaac."
Danny furrowed his eyebrows as he stepped towards Sam, "What?"
Chad went over to him and placed his hand on the man's chest making him step back, "Sorry man, but you should leave, have some of your beer, and we need you to go, have a good night."
Danny looked at him confused as Chad guided him out of the apartment, as he left Chad locked the apartment up.
"Wait, no! Let's talk about this for a second." Tara begged as she followed after her sister who had walked back into the living room, "Cause this might not habe anything to do with us."
This made Sam stop walking as she turned towards her sister, looking down at the girl, "Are you serious?"
"It's a big city! It's Halloween. Everybody's wearing masks!" Tara pointed out as she pointed towards the tv who still played the news.
"Tara!" Sam shook her head as she stepped towards her sister, "Tara, this isn't a coincidence. You knew him."
"Barely." Tara said, making Sam look over to the rest of the group, "Chad, Mindy, Isaac, back me up here."
Chad shrugged his shoulders, "I mean, it's a little bit..."
"Close to home..." Mindy finished while looking at Sam.
"I mean we don't know anything it could be." Isaac said but hoped that it hadn't had anything to do with them.
Sam nodded her head as she looked back at her younger sister, "See..."
Tara stood in silent's for a moment, before she turned towards Quinn, "Quinn, your dad's a cop right, can you call him and find out what's going on?" She then turned towards her sister, "Before you make the utilitarian decision to abandon my college education and flee the fucking state."
Quinn stood up and grabbed her phone ready to make the phone call, "I'm calling him now."
Isaac was going to say something but the phone on the dining table started to ring making everyone jump, while Sam walked over slowly, checking to see who was calling her.
"Who's calling you?" Isaac asked as Sam grabbed the phone, taking a look before declining. Ethan looked at everyone from where he was sat, "Why did everyone just freak out when her phone rung?"
"You gotta keep up, my dude." Anika said as she looked over to Ethan who was confused on why everyone was freaking out.
Quinn stood up from where she was sat and walked over to Sam with her phone, "Sam, my dad wants to talk to you."
Making Sam grab the phone, "Mr.Bailey, hi."
Sam furrowed her eyebrows as she was listening to what the detective was saying to her, "Oh, my sister thinks, I'm probably overreacting." Sam the looked concerned over to Isaac, "What do you mean? What's going on?"
After they hung up, Sam passed the phone back to Quinn as she sighed and run a hand through her hair, "What did he say?" Isaac questioned as he had seen the way Sam looked at him.
Sam just looked at Isaac, "Come on, Isaac. We need to go to the station, he wants us both there, right now."
Isaac stood up as he knew asking Sam questions know would only make her more irritated, so he nodded his head and walked over to Sam, as she told the rest to stay in the apartment and to lock the door.
