A/N: Apologies for the mess up earlier; my Wattpad glitched out hard and cause the chapter to be uploaded before it was ready

You watched the city go by, looking down at the animals below from your penthouse; your glass clanged with the ice cubs that were in your whisky glass. It had been a day since you stopped the drugged-up animal; there were 5 fatalities from the crash; it was hard to tell a young mother that her just-turned-18-year-old son that he wouldn't be coming home due to a car crash he was in.

Valkryie: Y/N, you aren't okay, are you?

Y/N: No, I'm not Valks. I mean, I thought I saw it all during the war's death, destruction, and loss, but I guess seeing a dire wolf mother cry into my arms because of her dead son brought it all back for me. I became so desensitized to everything I guess I forgot how to care or feel what other people felt.

The sound of the elevator doors opening could be heard; turning around, you were shocked to see Judy walk out and towards you

Judy: Hey, big guy, how are you feeling?

Shek asked in a soft voice as she jumped onto the table, and you sat down at the table so she could keep eye contact; she ran a paw through your hair as you kept sipping your glass of whisky

Y/N: I've seen war, Judy. I've seen things that would make you sick or scare you to your core, and yet I still kept going, but seeing that dire wolf mother break down in my arms? It broke me a little bit and pulled me back into reality. I mean, it's not like I'm a innocent; I've taken lives, but over time I got worse. I got smarter; I manipulated people into taking their own.

You gave out a long deep sigh rubbing your face as Judy rubbed your cheek and hugged you as best as she could

Judy: I know you feel like you are a monster that has left his emotions and humanity behind, but look at you, Y/N; you never lost your humanity. It's always been there; burying it away is not the same as losing it; you're a good person; never forget that, okay, Y/N?

Y/N: Heh, thanks, Judy. I needed that you know you are too sweet for your own good sometimes?

Judy chuckled upon hearing this and kissed your cheek as you went for another sip of your whisky. Judy put it back down.

Judy: I think you've had enough, Y/N. How about you get some rest? It's been a long day

Y/N: Yeah, I guess your right, Judy

You stood up and began to walk to your bedroom as Judy smiled, watching you go to your bedroom, and soon fell asleep as the small rabbit when for the elevator but instead went to sleep on your sofa, waking up the next morning the smell of bacon hit your nose getting up you bolted out of your bed and into the kitchen without a shirt on only to see Judy cooking bacon.

Y/N: Judy? What are you doing here I thought you went home last night

She giggled and gave a warm smile to; you she carried on cooking before cracking some eggs into the frying pan

Judy: Well, I was planning on going home, but I thought about how late it was, and the trains would stop soon, and I felt I would crash on your sofa. I hope you don't mind

Y/N: No, it's fine, Judy; just surprised, and you're cooking me breakfast? I thought a herbivore like you would hate to cook bacon. I mean, it's meat

Judy: You would think so, but I'm not really fused about it. I mean, every now and then, Nick eats meat. I know you carnivores can't help it

Y/N: Omnivore

Judy: Huh?

Y/N: Humans are considered Omnivore We are kinda in the middle of herbivores and carnivores

Judy: Ohhh, okay, that's cool to know. Are you going to put on a shirt, or is this how you usually look?

Y/N: depends. Do you like what you see, Judy?

The rabbit blushed and threw a towel at you in response; you laughed and went to get changed after breakfast; you saw the time and realized you might be late for work

Y/N: Oh crap baskets

Judy: Y/N Bogo told me to say you've got the day off, so maybe we could spend the day together if you like; sound good?

Y/N: Well, you made me breakfast. I wouldn't feel right ending our time together; yeah, I guess we can spend the day together

Judy's smile grew more as she jumped up and hugged you tight. You soon found yourself at the museum seeing as how the animals evolved; you looked down into one set

Y/N: Who puts a set in the floor without any barrier? Someone could fall in

Judy chuckled, looking down at the set before you two. It was an old memory to her.

Judy: Funny you say that cause someone did fall into that set, me and Nick; it's when we discovered Bellwether was out to get us. It's how we hustled her into revealing the truth, and Nick put on an Oscar-winning performance pretending to go savage.

You rolled your eyes hearing this and laughed, patting Judy on the back

Y/N: Sounds about right for you two.

You then saw a class of young students walk by as the teacher talked, but they didn't see you cause if they did, all learning would go out the window; a lion in a wheelchair was falling behind; you walked over to help him; he was scared until you down to his level

Y/N: Hey there, buddy; you don't need to be afraid. I'm a friend; call me Y/N

Little Lion: I'm Tyler. Are you here to help me, mister?

Y/N: Yeah, I am

Everything around you changed; the museum was gone now you were in a destroyed building; the faint crackling of a fire close by could be heard as the rain came down outside and distant gunfire Tyler now sat in a computer chair, and you were back in Spartan armor

Y/N: So I'm guessing it must be hard to be in a wheelchair, huh?

Tyler: It sure is, mister, but I get along. I just wish some of my classmates were nicer and helped me every now and then

Y/N: You know, I think you're a real brave kid coming here like this

Tyler: Thanks mister

Kat: Y/N, grab the kid, and let's go Covenant are on their way

Y/N: Sure thing Kat

Kat: Y/N

Kat: Y/N

Kat/Judy: Y/N

Judy: Y/N

Judy: Y/N, you there?

You came back to reality. You are back in the museum now. You smiled and shook your head.

Y/N: Sorry, Judy, did you say something?

Judy: You called me Kat

Y/N: Sorry

You went around and helped Tyler along to where the ground was, where the teacher spoke about how progress is measured by industry

Teacher: And that is how we keep moving, keep progressing by our industry; the more we build, the more progress we make

You cleared your throat and spoke up, causing all the students to look at you, even the teacher

Y/N: I'm sorry to say, but you are wrong about that

Teacher: Oh, and how so? Please tell us how progress is measured, then

With other animals hearing this, they walked over to see what you would say; even Judy looked up at you; some animals got their phones out to record.

Y/N: Here's how us humans worked it out

You cleared your throat again, ready to speak.

Y/N: Human progress isn't measured by industry it's measured by the value you place on a life. An unimportant life, a life without privilege, take Tyler here. His value is your value. That's what defines an age. That's what defines a species

Judy looked up at you in awe due to your moving speech, and the same with the students; they may have been young, but they understood your speech. The teacher gave a small smile

Teacher: I see. Well, that's a very moving speech, and I guess I was wrong. Thank you for your input Mr

Y/N: Y/N

Teacher: Thank you, Mr. Y/N; now come along, children

As the kids left, some helped Tyler; you smiled, glad to know your message got through to the kids. Judy tugged on your hand as you followed her to the cafe in the museum, and soon, you were both eating some chips.

Judy: So, how long?

Y/N: How long what?

Judy: How long before you can make a speech like that?

Y/N: I didn't come up with it

Judy: Oh, was it that Keener guy you know, your old mentor, who told it to you?

Y/N: Heh, no, it was Kat. I remember it clear as day too. I was fresh from my head hunter days when I joined Nobel team, and well, I was a bit violent; some ODST soldier shot at me by accident; my shield took the hit, but I was already not in a good mood, I wanted to kill him, but Kat then told me the speech you heard, and she was right we had bigger problems anyway

Judy: You miss her, don't you? This Kat?

Y/N: I do, Judy. I'm curious what she would think about this whole place I'm in right now

Judy: I bet she would be proud that your helping animals

Y/N: Thanks, Judy; your a really close friend like Nick as well

Judy: I think you're more than a friend to me. I think I might lov

Your phone went off, causing you to groan picking it up; Clawhausler was on the other side

Clawhausler: Hey Y/N, listen, Bogo needs you in asap; he wants to talk about the red chemical you found the other day

Y/N: Thanks, Ben. I'll be in soon

Ending the call, you looked at Judy, who had a slightly pouty face, and her ears were slumped

Y/N: Sorry, Judy, the boss wants to see me. You want to come along?

Judy: Well, you did say you would spend the day with me, so sure

Y/N: Okay, come on then, you cute bunny

Judy: Did you just call me cute?
