"The team from the hidden waterfall village has the scroll we need." Shino informed us. "They entered the Forest by going through a gate not to far from us, chances are that if we head North-west, we'll catch them."
We were already in the forest of death for about 4 hours. We haven't came across anybody yet.
"Great! Just to double check, you memorized their scent, correct?" Y/n asked Kiba,
Before they entered the FOD, Y/n told Kiba to walk by each team they were targeting to get their scent incase one of them ended up having the scroll they needed.
"You bet, leave it to me!" Kiba placed Akamaru down on the ground and the both start tracking the teams scent. The rest of the team followed closely behind the two.
"You think they'll be difficult to fight?" Y/n asks no one in particular,
"They seemed very mysterious... Also very on-guard..." Hinata answered,
"I don't think it'll be too hard." Kiba stated,
"We shouldn't underestimate our opponents." Shino said,
"How will we go about taking their scroll?" Hinata questions,
"Perhaps a surprise ambush... Being that I'm the distraction. I put on a lil play while Shino goes to boo-gang their scroll and if they notice, Kiba and Hinata will come into the scene and start throwing hands. Sound good?"
"..."
"..."
"What about you?"
"Well, being that I'm an unnecessary addition to this group, like 4 v. 3 its not fair. I won't interfere unless it's needed. So when it is needed, just scream... 69. Yeah."
Akamaru starts barking,
"We're near them, let's get higher up." Kiba suggests, we all jump to a branch on a really tall thick tree.
"Y/n, keep going in this direction but stay on the trees and keep as quiet as possible. Get ahead of them, they should continue to head straight, then distract them once they run into you."
Kiba instructed,
"Alright!" Y/n clasped her hands together while grinning, "I'm so excited!" Y/n leaped to another tree branch, gradually getting higher.
'I feel like shinobu from demon slayer, flying through the trees...'
'I wonder what Naruto and the others are doing rn...'
'I'm hungry..' Y/n pulls out a onigiri and inhales it.
'OH! I SEE THEM! Hopefully they don't hear me..' Y/n continued to travel a bit more, now she was just a quarter mile in front of them.
'Time to put on the acts..' Y/n descended from the high branches and landed on the ground.
Y/n starts whistling, walking towards the direction of the group.
"Where even is my team at? Did they get kidnapped or somethin'?" Y/n spoke aloud, loud enough for it to echo.
"It's really quite around here... Am I even going the right way? The sun rises in the west and sets in the east right? This is more boring that I thought is was going to be!" Y/n loudly complained,
'I hope they heard that cause I sound like a lil 🐩 right now..'
Leaves ruffle behind Y/n, she snaps her head back.
"Hello? Team, is that you?" Y/n calls out,
A group of people start laughing, it echos.
'Goofy 🍑 laughing, they trying too hard to be creepy. Bye, I'm cringing right now'
Y/n then spots three people walking her way,
"Oh, hey. How yall doing?"
"I think this one is all brawn and no brains." One team member said, he had regular brown hair and a sword on his back.
'Okay... How should I distract them?'
"Y'all wanna see a magic trick?" Y/n pulls out a deck of poker cards from literally nowhere,
"Is this your way of attacking? Pathetic." This ginger-headed girl grinned deviously,
"Actually, no. It's 3 vs. 1 so I know there's no way I would win, but do you wanna see this magic trick? It'll be really quick. I promise!"
They start whispering amongst themselves,
"Alright, we'll see this magic trick." The leader crossed his arms,
"Wonderful! Ok, so. You. With the sword on your back, pick a card, any card." Y/n spreads out the deck of cards in her hand, all facing down.
He suspiciously inspects Y/n, then picks up a random card.
"You may take a look at it and don't say what card it is, k?" Y/n puts the cards down on the ground,
She walks over to the leader, "Let me just.. reach right here. I'm not gonna try anything I swear." She reaches behind his ear, he brings a kunai up to her face,
"Bro chill I'm not gonna do nothing. I just gotta get this." She snatches a card from behind his ear,
"Now," She flips the card to face the sword dude, "Was this your card sir?"
"..."
His reaction:
"Yep, yes I know. Very magical and shocking right?"
"HOW?!"
"WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?!"
"I got another magic trick for you, you must be the leader, huh?"
"You got that right.. Why'd you ask?"
"No reason, you just look like you would be a leader. Alright, so leader. Imma flip through these cards really fast and you'll have to remember the number and symbol on one of the cards and I guess it, understand?"
He nods, the other two members watch in suspense. I notice that a couple of bug were crawling into the guy with the sword on his backs' pockets.
'Nice job, Shino we in the money.'
"Alright, look carefully." I flip through the cards quickly. Making sure that the front of cards aren't revealed for two long.
"You got a card memorized?"
He hums, I dig up some dirt in the ground, making it seem like I'm looking for something.
He furrows his eyebrows in confusion,
"Was this your card?" I slowly stand up with my hands clasped together, like this🙏, I then stick up both of my middle fingers.
"..."
"..."
"..."
I cackle loudly, "I GOT YOU GOOD! YOU SO TOTALLY FELL FOR THAT! HAHA!"
I start emoting by doing the Gangnam style dance. "OH YEAH! OPPA GANGNAM STYLE ON THESE B-TCHES!"
"Dai! Our scroll is gone, this was a distraction!" The dude with sword on his- we're just gonna call him... Hokai. Yeah, Hokai. He unsheathed his sword from his back. The ginger haired girl, her name is going to be Leprechaun, she pulled out a couple of kunais.
"You, you stole our scroll.... Give it back or die." The leader, Dai said, lowering his head and staring through his eyebrows.
"Nope, sorry. Not gonna happen, it's nothing personal, just me and my team would like to win so... You're not getting your scroll back."
"Alright then, you'll just have to di-"
Leprechaun interrupts Dai by yelping and grabbing the back of her neck.
There were leeches.
'Shino must've summoned them.'
Leeches started falling from the sky and attached themselves to the team, they killed a couple of leeches by throwing stars and kunais at them, but the team ended up dying.
"Great job Shino!" Y/n cheerfully claps,
"This was way easier than I expected, your plan worked Y/n." Kiba commented,
"Being that we already have both scrolls, does that mean we can start making our way to the tower now?" Hinata questioned,
"Yeah," Kiba answered, "But being that we have both scrolls that puts us at higher risk of getting ambushed. Who's gonna hold what scroll?"
"I'll hold the Earth scroll. Shino, would you like to hide the other scroll?" Y/n looked over at Shino, he nodded.
"Awesome sauce, let's bounce!"

"Y/n, w-what's wrong?" Hinata shyly asks,
Y/n looks down at Hinata with her eyebrows raised, "Hm? What do you mean?"
"You just look like you have something on your mind... Is something bothering you?"
"..." Y/n looks down in thought, "I feel like... I don't know.. like... something bad is about to happen. Maybe I'm just being paranoid and it's nothi-"
Just then somebodys hand covers Y/n's mouth and teleports her somewhere else.
