Izumo POV:
We sat in silence for a bit before I finally spoke;
"Want something to eat? I could make breakfast." I asked Kotetsu, sliding over to the side of the bed where I had kicked my alarm clock off the stand.
"Yeah sure, I can help make it too if you want." Kotetsu replied, sniffling. Did he have a cold or something? Or was it just his allergies, I mean it was that time of season where allergies start to kick in and stuff.
"No, no. It's alright, I can make it." I smiled at him and stood up, kicking away bits of my broken alarm clock, I'll clean that up later. I walked out of the room and into my small kitchen, I then opened the fridge and grabbed the eggs, I then went in the cabinet by the fridge and grabbed a pan to cook the eggs in. I was going to make sunny side up eggs this morning. I looked over and saw Kotetsu walking out of the bathroom, I turned back and focused on making breakfast. I then got some butter from the fridge and put the pan on the stove, I turned it on to medium and put some butter on the pan and I spread it around. I then cracked an egg then 2 once the butter was all melted. I waited till it was time to flip them, once I did that I grabbed the salt and pepper and a plate for Kotetsu's eggs to sit on so he can have them.
I got a spatula and put the 2 eggs on the plate I got out for Kotetsu and placed them on it. Before putting the salt and pepper on them I cracked my 2 eggs on the pan, and while I waited for them to be ready, I then put the salt and pepper on Kotetsu's eggs. After 2 minutes my eggs were ready, so I put them on a plate and put salt and pepper on them. I then turned the stove off and put the pan in the sink before grabbing the plates and setting them at the table.
"Kotetsu, eggs are ready!"
I could hear him sniffle and respond;
"Huh!?"
"Eggs are ready!" I smiled and got some forms and set them at the table next to our plates, I sat down, cross legged and waited for Kotetsu to come. I saw him walk over and move his plate next to mine on the same side. He then sat down and layed his head on my shoulder and sniffed. Yep, I could tell his allergies have arrived, it was that time of season after all.
Kotetsu POV:
After I sat down at the table and rested my head on Izumo's shoulder, I sniffled. My nose was stuffy as hell and I had a headache, I hate this time of season because those damned allergies always just pop up, and make me feel shitty. I wasn't really in a good mood because of the stupid allergies either so that was just great.
"Hey Izumo?" I sounded like I had a stuffy nose aswell.
"Yeah?" He responded after taking a bite of one of his eggs.
"Can we stop at my house today for my allergies medication?" I asked sniffling again.
"Yeah sure, we can once we are done eating? Or now if they are that bad, I mean we could go now? You sound pretty stuffy." Izumo replied, concern in his voice.
"Nah, *sniffle* we can wait till we're done eating, it's fine." I replied, smiling to reassure him I can wait until we are done eating.
"Alright." He smiled back and told another bite of one of his eggs. Eventually after 10 minutes we had both finished our eggs, Izumo took the plates and forks and stood up, I stood up aswell and walked over to the door and got my shoes on so we could go get my allergy medication. Once he had put the plates in the sink he walked over and put his shoes on aswell. We then both walked out the door, Izumo locked the apartment door and we were off to my house to retrieve my medicine. My house was about a 5-ish minute walk from his apartment, it wasn't to far. We walked down the steps and I grabbed his hand, it was weird how we hadn't spoken about what happened last night, but he grabbed my hand back and we held hands the rest of the way to my house, yes, some people did stare at us. I wondered, what were they thinking about when they saw us holding hands. Did they think something bad? Or were they thinking stuff like, 'Oh my gosh, they are so cute together!'? Or something like that. Who knows though, who knows.
We arrived at my house and I unlocked the door with the key under the doormat, I then just put the key in my pocket and walked inside, Izumo following behind me. I walked into the kitchen and into a cabinet by the sink I opened it and grabbed a pill bottle that was, not filled with my allergy meds.
"Damn it! I'm all out.." I sighed and frowned. I'd have to go to the hospital to get a refill. I set the empty pill bottle down and walked back over to Izumo. "I'm all out..-" Izumo sighed, he walked up to me and put an arm around my waist.
"Well, let's go get you a refill then."
"Alright. Although.. We are going to have to go to the pharmacy, make an order and then wait for a while until they have them ready.." I sighed and frowned again. Man I hate waiting for my allergy meds, it's annoying as hell.
"Well, let's go do that then." I nodded and me and Izumo walked out.
Izumo POV:
We walked out of Kotetsu's house and towards the hospital, the walk would be around 7 minutes. We held hands again, I loved holding his hand, it felt comfortable and warm. His hand was always warm, even in the winter. Mine always seem to be cold, even when I'm sweating buckets, my hand still seems to be cold. I love him, I just can't help it, he's sweet, he's kind, he's caring, he's handsome. I could go on and on.
"You alright Izumo-?" I heard Kotetsu ask, I quickly zoned back in and realized I was smiling and my face felt hot, I then quickly regained my composure and put on a neutral face.
"Huh- Uh yeah, I just... zoned out.. No need to worry! Heheh-" I patted his back and realized we had arrived at the hospital, time to get Kotetsu his allergy medication. I let go of his hand and we walked inside, we went up to the front desk and Kotetsu began asking the person there if she could get his medication.
"Mhm! I'll be right back to check how long it'll take, just sit tight."
"Alright, thank you." He smiled and nodded. I smiled as well, and grabbed Kotetsu's hand again, he grabbed it back and we were holding hands again. We stood there for about 2 minutes before the kind lady came back.
"It should be ready in about 2 hours, so return in about that time." She smiled at him and blushed slightly, I glared at her, I felt jealous. Kotetsu noticed my glare and nudged me a bit, I stoped glaring at her and put on a fake smile, luckily she didn't notice my glare.
"Thank you miss, have a nice day!" Kotetsu said and started to walk away, pulling my hand slightly, I didn't like her that much, I think she likes Kotetsu. I don't know why I'm this jealous, she just smiled and blushed at him, why am I hating her for it? Once we got out I sighed. "Why'd you start glaring at her, Izumo?"
"She just.. looked at you kinda weirdly and blushed at you. And I guess I just started glaring at her." I frowned, I couldn't help but glare at her, I just.. Don't really know anymore. I squeezed Kotetsu's hand. "Wanna go back to my place?"
"Yeah sure." Kotetsu replied and we began walking back to my place, I loosened my grip on his hand and put on a neutral face. After around like 5 minutes we arrived back at the apartment complex, we went around to the stairs and walked up to the second level and then we walked to my apartment door. I grabbed the key from my pocket, and letting go of Kotetsu's hand, I unlocked the door and let him enter first. We took our shoes off and sat down at the couch. He kept sneezing, so I got up and brought him a box of tissues.
"I'll be right back so I can get you a blanket as well."
"Izumo it's fi--"
"Nope." I cut him off and walked off to grab a blanket, I'm taking care of him today, whether he likes it or not. I went into my room, opened the closet and grabbed a blanket from the top shelf, I then walked back out and put it around him. "I'm taking care of you whether you like it or not today, and tomorrow if necessary." I smiled at him, he just sneezed and sighed with a smile. I chuckled and sat down, wrapping an arm around him I kissed him on the cheek. Man I love him. He just blushed and then after a few seconds, gave me a kiss on the cheek back which made me smile and rest my head on his shoulder. "How about for dinner tonight for dinner we order your favorite?" Kotetsu's eyes seemed to light up, he seemed like a child getting presents on their birthday.
"Yes please!" He looked at me and sniffled, his eyes seemingly glowing in excitement. I laughed slightly and sat up straight.
"I'll turn the TV on as well." I stood up and went over to the TV stand to grab the remote. (Yes they do have TVs in Naruto, I looked it up. Just to clarify incase anyone was curious-) Once I grabbed the remote, I turned on the TV and sat back down right next to Kotetsu, he ended up laying down in my lap and falling asleep. I messed and played with his hair for a bit until I realized, it was time to pick up his medication.
