Dragged into the lab of All For One's doctor and the creator of the Nomu
Then forced to come face to face to face to face with mutilated corpses of his mother and parents in law
Could there be any other definition of hell?

All that Y/N could hear was the beating of his heart, the thumping of the blood in his ears drowned out the maniacal cackling that echoed from above
Despite it being almost a decade since their passing those were faces he'd never forget, the world around him was spinning, his stomach churned as heat began to rise in his throat
The dead faces of his mother and parents in law stared directly and while their faces were devoid of expressions that only allowed his mind to drown deeper in it's thoughts
They were just there
Silently judging him
Before he could take even a single step back his action was interrupted by a kick to the shin that brought him out of his dazed stupor
Snapping back into the situation by the older hero and his eyes once again met with that of the abomination, it was a naturally repulsive sight that caused Y/N to feel nauseous even thinking of this 'thing'
Noticing his state the mastermind behind the creature voiced a chorus of delirium
???: "Truly one of my greatest works to date, while most of their original quirks weren't anything special their bodies proved adequate canvases, unlike their Upper-Tier brethren Answer has a lighter skin pigmentation than the black they usually possess, such as the one Tomura Shigaraki squandered at the U.S.J." eagerly he presented his creation, with All For One imprisoned it had been quite some time since he had last been able to the present his work
While he was preoccupied with his explanation the heroes had studied the Nomu now known as Answer before continuing their search for an escape route, Inquisitive being much more uncharacteristically impatient and desperate to do so
If this one was truly comparable to the one that had clashed with All Might U.S.J. and was specifically designed to counter one of them then their situation was more dire than they first thought
Not to mention that the Nomu around them could potentially be of a similar threat level although they were pining on the hope that it wasn't the case, given how up till now the only other Nomu encountered were at Hosu and Kamino ward each proved to be lesser than the beast that exchanged blows with the Symbol of Peace
They were aware that these artificially enhanced beings were essentially marionettes with no free will of their own, which is what made Y/N so effective at dealing with them as either their modified brains couldn't handle the thoughts he gave or some built in countermeasure destroyed the rebelling mind
With this in mind they took this opportunity to scheme before an issue was ordered, simultaneously trying not alert the Nomu or cut the mad scientist's narcissistic speech short
???: "Of course I naturally used only the most logical hand selected quirks in Answer's design, fortunately All For One allowed me to procure certain quirks from people who weren't using them to their... let's say fullest potential" at some point the plotting villain had switched into a lecturer
Unaware that he was being ignored as a plan of action had just finished being brewed
With stationary and seemingly inactive target a preemptive strike was launched
Three heads VS Three heads: Y/N L/N, GRAN TORINO & TSUKAUCHI VS THE ANSWER
BANG
While the Gran Torino and Inquisitive each flanked the Nomu's left and right side respectively the detective fired away at it fully aware that this creature lacked any semblance of the people it once was, while he was no sharpshooter hitting an unmoving target was a simple feat
The bullets hit their mark each sinking halfway into it's flesh proving this one wasn't as durable as it's counterpart from the U.S.J.
Next the senior hero came crashing down on the nearest head to him with enough force to snap the neck it was attached to as well as shatter it's skull, in response it was whipped backwards at a ninety degree angle as the noise the breaking of bones made echoed out
Finally came the last participant in this assault who lingered back momentarily in hesitation of the familiar faces that seemed to always be looking back at him, as if they were judging his very soul
He was unsure of how to use his quirk against a multi brained foe however he'd faced enough unfavourable numbers to be able to use it in rapid succession against multiple targets
Distributing them between the three heads seemed to no trigger the regular reaction it had to the Nomu in Hosu proving this one had overcome that weakness
So while keeping intrusive thoughts in the multiple minds he decided to resort to good old reliable violence
A cable extended from his and wrapped around the neck of the head that resembled his mother in law, pressing his thumb into the side of his index finger activated a trigger that made the metallic cord go taut and applying enough force to decapitate it
Instead it hung loosely on it's shoulder as it's throat was crushed under the pressure
Not relenting in the slightest he pressed as second button further along his index finger to retract the wire however due to it currently being extended and attached it instead brought Y/N closer to the Nomu, as he closed the gap he reached into one of the compartments on his belt and pulled out something he kept concealed in his closed fist
Just before he was brought face to face with the deceased head of his mother he slammed his fist directly into it, simultaneously the cable had fully withdrawn back into his wrist on his other hand allowing him to kick off the Nomu's chest and launch backwards
Gran Torino seeing what he had done also retreated back to a safe distance, all of the attacks had happened in rapid succession of one another so he just preformed his neck breaking stomp a moment ago
As Inquisitive delivered his high velocity punch that was worthy of the title of "Ultimate Move" although it was inappropriate to call out during this high stakes scenario, he had crammed several high powered explosives into the hole in his mother's head
Normally such things would only be used breaching buildings or incapacitating villains with high durability such as All For One who was the last person he used them on in recent memory
The lab shook as explosion with a large blast radius detonated in the centre of it, the nearby glass cylinders seeming unaffected by heaving forces being exerted on them indicating they were built of sturdier stuff than traditional glass
Tsukauchi from his distance simply had to raise his forearm shield his eyes from the blast while Gran Torino was slightly repelled backwards by it
Y/N stood tall against with his vision unobscured by the residual smoke left behind, he saw it's mangled and contorted shape that was now missing it's central head as the flesh of the two adjacent to it had been half blasted clean off revealing part of their bare skulls
As the cloud spread to encompass most of the large room whilst being low bearing enough to conceal everything below their knees (or in Gran Torino's case his shoulders), the other two got a good look at what was left of the so called "bane of Inquisitive"
Before any of them could speak up and potentially jinx their luck a certain voice decided to speak up and crush any misguided hope they may have
???: "Answer awaken" with that simple phrase the tables were turned
In less than a second flesh was already beginning to reform around the damaged heads as it stood up with a slightly hunched back, in the middle the charred half remains of the neck began bubble in grotesque manner
The spinal cord began to extend while muscles followed swiftly after, in just five seconds the skull had completely reformed and the flesh reforming just another second later
And just as they had started matching dull E/C yet again stared into one another, with one being engraved with visible shock from the inhuman recovery
???: "I don't feel like it's worth an explanation but all Nomu of this quality and higher have Super Regeneration as a standard issue quirk" uncharacteristically unenthusiastic about giving this explanation, they were much more eager in what would follow
The six pale arms rose with open palms and fingers stretched that would occasionally twitch, the arms themselves differed by pair with the middle pair being the most muscular
???: "The rest I'll let you discover on your own" they were giddy with excitement, like a child about to watch their favourite cartoon
Six pairs of eyes honed in on Inquisitive and with roughly twenty meters separating them the hero kept his guard up
In what was almost an instant a pale blur was suddenly looming over Y/N, anticipating what came next his forearms were raised to protect his head and torso, he prepared to unleash his quirk however found a crushing baring down on him before that train could go any further
Answer delivered a devastating punches on to his defence with all three of it's right side arms, the wind cracked like whip due to the speed and force at which they were thrown
The armoured plates that were a part of his hero costume caved in under power exerted on them, leaving three fist sized dents that came from above due to monsters height
Behind them Y/N's arms while spared the brunt of the attack didn't leave unscathed, his arms buckled beneath the impact as the bones inside them fractured
His regular human legs gave way with the strike as the hero was knocked down onto his back and slid along the smooth stone floor
The Nomu would of continued it's assault on the downed man if not for his allies intervening, a bullet was lodged clean between the amber eyes and another speedy attack was about to make a follow up
However the old timer would be countered as the upper left arm caught the kick coming from behind, it's right head turned one hundred and eighty degrees to follow his movement
Winding back it's arm holding onto the leg it threw Gran Torino towards the detective, Tsukauchi was about to fire another bullet so he had to cancel that plan and opted to catch the older man who had slowed himself down thanks to his quirk
The bullet stuck in the brow was spat out thanks to it's Super Regeneration which chatted against the ground, resuming it's assault on it originally target it turned to find he wasn't where it left him
All three head spun to find even of trace of Inquisitive like searchlights although it failed to take into account of it's terrain due to it's restricted thought as Y/N came from above having grappled to the ceiling and plummeted down towards the Answer
It's shoulders stood strong as he firmly planted feet on them and drove the knife he had in his hand directly into it's forehead, the design floor of leaving the mocking scar coming into play as only flesh shielded the brain that it pierced
Grappling him with all six of it's arm to yank him off it wasn't able to stop from pulling the blade out once again as stabbing into the side of the left head
Throwing him aside Answer took a moment to allow itself to recover before proceeding
Y/N stained directly at the ceiling as the burning pain in his arms begged him to stop, propping himself up with his elbows and sitting up then came the annoying reminder of who was currently spectating this
???: "Ha! Please do continue your futile resistance! I didn't make this one to simply watch it kill you easily, no I've made sure it'll make this as painful as possible for you" with the spectacle taking place their previous excitement returned with full force
Sliding alongside him the elderly man pulled his junior up by the shoulder seeing how he struggled with his injured arms
Gran Torino: "Tsukauchi trying to signal an S.O.S. but no luck so far"
He looked down to the man who's breaths were become ragged, he hadn't known the youngster long but his experience helped him recognise there was something wrong
Gran Torino: "You've been silent since that thing showed up so I'm guessing you've got history with whoever Frankenstein used to make it" he'd put that much together based on this maniacs words
Holding his tongue Y/N propped himself up with his elbows so he was at least on his knees
Gran Torino: "They claimed this things in the same wheel house as the one that attacked U.A. and I doubt either of us can dish out enough damage like Toshi- All Might" keeping his eyes on the oddly inactive Nomu his squinted his eyes at it's behaviour
The Answer had finished regenerating quite some time ago and was now silently observing Y/N, particularly it's central head that gained a bit of light behind it's E/C eyes
Now standing Y/N looked at Gran Torino once more before focusing on his target
Y/N: "That thing's made of mother and parents in law" unlike his usual monotone voice that had hints of his current emotions this time was different...
It was empty
Y/N L/N had gone through life moving from one thing to the next, he'd never moved on from their deaths and just buried those thoughts
The only recent events that had caused them to resurge was when he was given the opportunity to speak to his mentor Kaina Tsutsumi
Then there was Deika...

It was a blur when Gran Torino was swatted aside by the Answer
It was a blur when that same Nomu lifted him up by his arm as he dangled limp in it's grasp
It was a blur when all six of it's hands wrapped around his left arm, three on his forearm and three on his upper arm
...
It was a blur when it ripped his arm off

Also another thing is for a while I was thinking of rewriting some entire chapters or certain aspects of the story however I instead came up with a different idea
So once this book is done...
