Enid's pov;
We arrived at the theme park after a long drive and i could already feel the adrenaline kicking in as i saw some of the coasters that were high up in the air. ,,Oh my gosh im so excited!'' i said shaking Yoko grabbing onto both of her arms. ,,Alright alright calm down you silly'' she smiled patting my head as Divina grabbed onto her hand. ,,Cuties'' i said chuckling.
Wednesday was writing down something in a book as i walked up to her. ,,What are u writing?'' i curiously looked over. ,,My death note for if i don't survive one of these coasters.'' she said looking up at me. ,,These coasters are secure, accidents don't happen- often!'' i smile knowing that accidents sometimes happen, but they happen everywhere.
,,Still gotta be prepared'' Wednesday closes her book putting it in her bag. ,,Im gonna go buy the tickets, you guys go for a bathroom break so we can go when im done'' She said as she went towards the entrance. Me and the others went towards the toilets. After i was done Ajax was waiting on a bench. ,,Don't need the toilet yet?'' i said sitting down next to him.
,,No im alright'' he said being silent. ,,What's up?'' i wanted to place my hand on his cheek but he moved away. ,,Are you seriously still mad about the kiss thing with Wednesday?'' i took my hand back looking at him. ,,I see how you two look at eachother, I don't know what happened in your coma but you two definitely had something going on.'' he sighed not even looking towards me.
,,Look.. let's talk about this when were back alright? can't we just have a nice day without arguing..?'' i beg him. ,,I'll be nice, but not because you want me to'' he got up walking off towards the entrance. ,,What's up with him?'' Yoko says as she came out of the bathrooms. ,,He's still mad.'' i get up feeling mad. ,,he has no right to.'' she says wanting to hug me but i back away. ,,No he has every right to, it happened again yesterday and i haven't told him..'' i mumble looking at her. ,,wait- you and Wednesday?'' her eyes widened. ,,Yep-'' i felt bad.
,,I mean yeah, u should've broken up before you did but- just tell him the truth alright? ur just following ur true feelings'' she reassured me as we went towards the entrance too with Eugene, Bianca and Divina following us. ,,Hey guys wait up!'' We turned around noticing Xavier running up to us. ,,Oh hey i thought u weren't coming?'' i said thinking about what Wednesday would think.
,,Yeah but i changed my mind, i want to spend time with yall and also Enid im sorry for calling you a dog yesterday'' he said softly smiling. ,,It's alright, im sorry for calling you an asshole and kicking you'' i smiled back. ,,Let's go now!'' Eugene said running ahead excitedly. As we arrived at the entrance Ajax greeted Xavier. ,,So you decided to show up?'' Wednesday said crossing her arms glaring at Xavier. ,,Yeah, i decided to come along'' there was an awkward silence between them that i noticed.
,,Anyways.. let's have fun guys'' i said. Wednesday handed everyone their tickets and we went inside. ,,Where should we go first?'' Bianca looked at a map one of the workers had given them as they gave the tickets. ,,Let's go to the water one!'' Xavier and Ajax said. ,,Nah there's an attraction with bee carts!'' Eugene said wanting to go there. ,,No way- they have a scare house!'' Divina said looking at Yoko. ,,Alright- what if we all split up and meet back here in like 30 minutes to do some other attractions?'' i suggested looking at Wednesday who was nodding.
Everyone agreed and went in groups of 2 while me and Wednesday stayed behind. ,,Alright.. is there anything you want to go in?'' i look at the map that she was currently holding. ,,What about that one?'' she was pointing to an attraction that was seemed really fast and had a very high drop. ,,Terrifying..'' i mumbled. ,,Are u scared?'' she mocked me closing the map walking ahead. ,,No.. No im not!'' i ran after her to keep up.
Wednesday's pov;
We arrived at the entrance of the attraction and i noticed how high it was. ,,Looks good enough'' i said as Enid walked after me seeming pretty unsure about it. ,,You can still turn back you know'' i said looking back at her. ,,No- it's alright im coming'' Her hands were shaking as she walked next to me. I sighed and took her hand leading her through the line. I noticed her calm down as i held her hand tight.
,,Thank you'' she said smiling at me as we entered the cart. ,,No problem'' i said letting go so i could hold on to the bar that was infront of the cart. ,,Ready?'' i said feeling excited. ,,Nope- but im still going'' she chuckled. The cart started moving and we slowly made our way to the top of the coaster. As it finally arrived at the top Enid grabbed onto my arm ,,Oh god im gonna die'' she said as the cart faced into the drop. Enid started screaming as we went down. I sat silently enjoying the ride.
After the drop Enid finally calmed down and we went through the coaster very fast. It was like a 5 minute long coaster. As we arrived back at the station our hair was all messy from the wind. ,,You look silly'' she chuckled. ,,Yeah well i wasn't screaming like a little kid'' i chuckled as she gave me a soft push while we walked back to where we would meet the others again.
,,That was amazing!'' Ajax said looking at Xavier who were already back. ,,Hey guys!'' Enid said as we stood next to them. ,,Jeez what happened to yall's hair-'' Xavier said looking at how silly my hair was looking. ,,Big.. fast high drop coaster-'' Enid huffed. The others also returned and we all went to eat something. ,,Im craving fries-'' Enid said as we sat down on some benches. ,,Yeah me too'' Bianca said. ,,Alright ill get everyone some fries'' i said as i was about to walk off.
,,Wait how are u even able to pay all this?'' Divina said looking at me questionably. ,,Uhm..'' i didn't know what to say as i didn't want to tell them my family had alot of money. ,,It's not expensive here really'' Enid said trying to help. ,,Yeah-'' i said walking off.
Enid's pov;
,,I bet her family has alot of money tho'' Ajax said glaring at me. ,,Is that why you like her instead of me?'' he said right after that. ,,Shut up Ajax stop making a fuzz'' Yoko said angrily. He stayed silent still looking at me. Wednesday returned with the fries after a bit passing them to everyone. We all ate in silence as Wednesday looked up confused. ,,Why are ya'll so silent?'' she mumbles still eating. ,,No reason really-'' i try to hide my teary eyes. ,,Im gonna go for a bathroom break'' i said as i quickly went towards the bathrooms.
I locked myself in one of the stalls and sat down with the lid closed covering my face with my hands. ,,I really messed up..'' i mumbled to myself. ,,Enid?'' i heard Wednesday saying from the entrance. ,,Yeah?'' i tried to sound like there wasn't anything wrong. ,,What happened when i was gone?'' she said. I saw that she was standing infront of the stall i was in from below.
,,Nothing really! everyone was just enjoying their food i think'' i said making myself sound happier. ,,Quit the bullshit Enid'' She said with a cold voice. ,,open the door..'' she said softly afterwards. I slowly opened the stall door letting her in. ,,Ajax was making a fuzz about that i like you over him because your family has money..'' i wiped my teary eyes looking away from her.
She softly grabbed my chin moving my eyes towards hers. She stared at me before speaking ,,I know that isn't true, don't cry it's going to be alright'' she used her sleeve to wipe away my tears. 'She looks so beautiful..' i speak to myself looking at her. My eyes focus on her lips as i slowly move forward placing mine on hers.
I close my eyes as she leans me against the stall wall and kisses me back. I quickly softly push her off shaking my head. ,,Im sorry this isn't right-'' I said as i quickly left the bathroom walking back to the others.
Wednesday's pov;
I stood there in silence for a bit staring at the ground. ,,What did she mean with that?'' i thought to myself. ,,Did she not think we could be a thing?'' i let out a deep sigh. 'It would be actually sad if i would cry over this' i remind myself trying to stay strong as i close my eyes for a second and return back to the others too.
,,Alright guys shall we continue?'' i said with a cold tone moving ahead. ,,What's up with her-'' Divina says looking at Enid who wasn't paying attention. ,,I think something happened in that bathroom'' Yoko says looking towards me and Enid. ,,I agree'' Divina says holding Yoko's hand as they walk along. After a long tiring day of silence we all returned back to Nevermore. As me and Enid arrived at our dorm we hadn't spoken a word.
I sat down on my bed getting my braids out and changing into my pyjama's. I noticed Enid laying with her back turned to me as she was scrolling on her phone. I felt a painful sting inside my body. It was like my heart was being stabbed multiple times but it wasn't as satisfying as i wondered it would be. i laid on my back staring at the ceiling before i drifted to sleep.
