"Jules you whore!" Monique gasped as she practically leaped into the room, locking the door behind her. I knew she was just making fun with the nickname, so I didn't take it to heart.

My heart was too busy trying to match a normal pace. My breathing as well. It was the most intense kiss and I realized I was about to fuck my daughters nanny at her own birthday party. Maybe I deserved that nickname.

"We're you guys about to. . ." She wagged her finger between me and the space on the bed he took above me. I didn't want to think about anything but the way his hands felt on in my hair, and his lips on my body.
It sent shivers down my spine remembering the gentle kiss turning to a rough heat.

"How is Ophelia?" I change the subject. That kiss may have been a distraction at first from the topic of Isiah, but after a while it felt right. It felt good to be so close to Theo, wrapped around him with his hands against mine. He smelled earthy, and the way his tattooed hand roamed down my stomach with the cold metal rings gliding with him.

"She's delusional to anything happening around her, like any four year old," she chuckled as she took the spot next to me. "Anna and Ilixa are still on damage control duty, trying to distract the parents from what happened, get them talking about something else."

"That's good," I sigh in relief. I've always debated the idea of Ophelia knowing her father, but after today, the way he treated me, I can hold no trust in the idea of leaving them alone. Maybe when she is older. I don't want to hold her back from knowing the other half of her DNA.

Monique grabbed my hand, but it wasn't as comforting as Theo. "If y'all fuck you gotta tell me," she joked which caused a burst of laughter from me.

"I don't think Theo will like me telling everyone about his sex skills," I remind her. "So what did you come in here for?" I say in an attempt to steer the conversation away from what possible could have happened if she didn't interrupt.

"Oh, one of the moms were cursing out Anna for some reason," she explained.

"What the fuck, Mon! Why didn't you start with that?" I say, shooting from my spot and running outside, while simultaneously fixing my clothes.

The argument seemed to have died down with Theos arms around Annabel, while he is guiding her to her new boyfriend of the month who is sitting at one of the tables. The other lady is holding her kids hand while she leaves. I recognized her as the woman that always picks up her kid while in a rush from the summer daycare Ophelia went to.

The party was still lively, kids cracked on sugar and cake and as much sweets as possible. I think all these parents are going to hate me and Theo after the copious amounts of sugar their child just ate.

There was face painting table, crafts table with simple crafts where the kids got to paint pencils red (Theos idea apparently). I was surprised at the turnout. For a four year old John Wick party, it was very well put together. And all that mattered was Ophelia was happy.

Ophelia came running towards me as I lost my attention in Ilexia who was telling me all about the girl she met when we went to the club. "Mommy! Mommy!" Ophelia's tatter of a voice said. It never got old, having her yell mommy to me.

"Yes sweetie?" I question, getting to her level.

"Theo told me to tell you to go to him," she explained, tugging on the hem of her white skirt. I looked up from her to see Theo talking with one of the other kids moms, but his eyes were glued to mine while Barbie doll Betty was eye fucking him during their conversation.

Something inside me ached, and I realized it was jealousy. A form of jealously I've never felt. Ophelia walked me over to him, but immediately migrated back to her group of kids.

Once Theo saw me, his arm immediately wrapped around my waist protectively. "How are you doing, darling?" He questioned. The way he said darling, it made my stomach flutter with butterfly's. And the face on mock Barbie was priceless.

"I gotta go," she muttered before stepping away. Theo sighed as she was barely out of earshot.

"Sweetheart I don't think you understand how annoying the human population can be," he said as he brought me closer to him. This felt so new, like touching him felt almost illegal but good at the same time. I wondered if it was too early to be this close in public.

"And I'm not apart of that population?" I tease.

His lips for dangerously close to my ear. "Darling, you are one in a million in that population."

"Should we be this close this early?" I ask, changing the subject after the amount of wondering eyes I see. Early into what? We just kissed and I'm already questioning what that means. I guess when you have been alone for almost four years, except for causal hookups and dates once a month, you aren't sure of anything anymore.

"If your ok with it, I don't care. I don't want dumb people to stop me from doing this," he says before I feel his hand start to trail down my waist and to my ass. My face turned beat red, and he could only smirk.

It seemed my reaction was satisfaction enough, like he enjoyed the way red covered my face because he didn't move his hand—even when people came up to talk to either of us, including my mother who just kept smiling at me.

"I apologize, Theo darling, but I need to steal Julia from you," she said before grabbing my arm and dragging me to where Monique, Ilixa and even Annabel were all huddled.

"When were you going to tell us!" Anna spoke before anyone could get a word out. Everyone was all giggles and laughs—even my mother—and I was still the same shade of crimson as earlier.

"Shh!" I exclaim. "It is still new so don't scare the man away."

My mother calls bullshit. "Kid, I know what love looks like when I see it. That man has had that look in his eyes ever since he set eyes on you." Her eyes were narrowed on Theo, and as I look back he was glued to me.

Maybe my mother did know a thing or two about love.

~~
Theo:

She was so fucking beautiful. An inhuman type of beauty. Like you saw her and couldn't believe something like that existed. So obviously it would be impossible to take my eyes off her. And that lilac skirt that was tight around her waist.

A part of me was still mad we got interrupted, but another part didn't care. I was kind of glad. The first time I was going to have sex with Juliette wasn't going to be at a children's birthday party. It was going to be somewhere perfect, because she deserved nothing less.

The party was dying down, and now it was more of a sugar crash and wine night than anything else. Annabel's niece was sleeping on the couch next to Ophelia as they both crashed while watching some weird kids show that Ophelia objected to.

Candy surrounded the two girls as most of the kids left about an hour ago. The sun set whiles back, and Juliette and her friends were kicked back while sipping wine, planning their next girls night in.

"I have an interview that day," Juliette said between sips of the cherry red liquid. It was a new one we were trying out together, cherry and grape flavor. I wanted to expand her palette of her favorite drink, so every week we drink a new and sometimes more expensive bottle—better than the off brand target one she gets all the time.

I still don't have the guts to tell her I have a deep hatred for the drink.

"Yea and I have to report on the presidents campaign trail that night," Annabel responded to Monique's suggestion of doing a paint and sip on a weekend months away. I was basically eavesdropping at this point while I cleaned up whatever was left of the decorations. Juliette was doing the dishes and cleaning the inside, while I cleaned the outside—our agreement.

The girls had hectic schedules. Monique had a fashion camp in New York she was attending for a whole month next week. Ilixa was working towards her PhD program and was busy on that. And Annabel just secured a spot on the presidential campaign trail for the next two and a half months and will be in and out of Virginia until November.

Juliette had the Olympics in a few months and excessive training. By December she will be getting ready to leave to Paris, and meeting with the other people on the US team. I may not have liked the three in the beginning, but I can't deny their accomplishments.

"Theo!" Annabel called from across the lawn. I turned to see all the girls giggling and laughing while Annabel was waving me over. I still try being kind to her friends because she cares deeply for them and they are the better people in Juliette's life.

"Theo," Annabel began when I made it over to them. "You are like all tattooed and broody and stuff. Why the hell are you a nanny? You should do like cage fighting and shit. Or be like a sexy cowboy."

Juliette's face was red and hidden behind her glass. I had to hold back my smirk, because god did I love when she blushed. It was like the perfect scene, and I wanted to make her have that reaction 24/7.

"I don't think sexy cowboy is exactly something you can put on a resume, and I'm also a tattoo artist," I replied back.

"I'd hire you if I saw that on a resume," she simply shrugged ignoring the comment about me having an actual job. The other girls seemed to be holding back their laughter at the guts Annabel gained from a few too many cups of wine.

"Theo don't answer her it's alright," Juliette stepped in, waving a perfectly manicured hand at me, her lips stained red from the drink. Maybe I did like wine after all.

It was nearly impossible to hold back the urge to kiss her perfectly plump heart shaped lips. "I don't mind, sweetheart," I replied in a low whisper.

"Annabel leave the poor man alone," Ilixa stepped in. I think Ilixa was my favorite. She was a lot like me when I was younger. Very quiet but assertive when necessary.

"Fine fine," Annabel said in surrender, which was a sign for me to finish picking up the last of the trash. When I walked back, I looked to take a glance and I noticed Juliette's eyes on mine. A smile crept on my lips and a pit in my stomach grew, but I never felt anything as good as this feeling right now.

After a while, I felt a delicate hand on my shoulder. "Hey," the recognize in the voice was instant. "I can do the rest if you want, I feel bad," she said.

"Did you really come here to help? Or keep checking out my ass. I know it's a very nice one too," I joked, knowing she'd blush—and she did.

"Your full of your self, Mr. Callahan," she sarcastically said, and I don't know how long the list of things I love about her is, but her calling me that is probably top of the list. Right below her blushing.

"You see, princess, only around you am I like this," I explained.

"And I should feel special," she taunted.

"You are special to me."
