In the forest of The Boiling Isles, there sat the Son of The Isles. King Clawthorne AKA the Last Titan. He had many titles if you think about it, one of which formerly being The King of Demons.

If King truly wanted to be that, he probably could. His magic was godlike...or at least, was going to be. He wasn't as old as his father yet, and according to The Collector, the older he grew, the stronger his magic would get.

King hummed to himself as he spun a pencil around in his claws. He then finished up the pattern of one of his new glyphs on a notepad. "Alright, that should work! C'mon, Titan Magic!" He said as he took out the paper and set it on the ground before tapping it...but instead of a vine or flower, out popped a slowly developing tree with even a few fruits hanging from it.

"Weh!" King cried, smiling. This was actually working...!

Ever since Luz's most recent return, he had been working on all of his glyphs. Luz had a new language to learn after all, so King just had to know how to write it. As long as he was around, the glyphs would work.

"Okay! So, I've got Light and Plant...now for Fire and Ice!" King said as he grabbed his notepad again. "Hmm...maybe I can make a different element? I gotta ask The Collector about that next time he visits...and I'm talking to myself. Fantastic-"

But then, suddenly...he heard something. Something faint and barely audible, but it was there...and it only seemed to grow louder. King stood up, looking around and trying to find a source.

It sounded like...music. But, not rock music or classic music or anything like that. Instead, it sounded like a gentle tune from one of those Earth music boxes. King always found those a little creepy depending on the tune, but this one seemed calming.

What wasn't calming however? How loud it was getting. And as the tune grew louder, King began to hear sparks of electrical energy.

The young Titan whipped around behind the tree and burst through the bushes before he was suddenly blinded by a bright light. He covered his eyes before looking up and seeing...a portal. But it wasn't like the portal door that Eda had found. It looked like a gigantic hole in the sky made of blue, green, and pink energy.

Suddenly, a gust of wind began blowing from the portal. King let out another 'weh' as he almost struggled to keep himself on the ground. The music had reached its loudest point...until suddenly, it stopped and was replaced with a new sound.

Screaming.

Then, out of nowhere, three people fell right out of the portal. One by one, they fell onto the ground right in front of King as the portal closed behind him and everything went silent once again.

They looked to be human, but the strange thing was that each of them had really strange hair. The first one had brown and blue hair with a similar, but not exact skin tone to Luz. The second one had really long black and green hair. The third and final one had short blonde and pink hair.

King took a step back, having no idea who these people were. And if three humans who had just fallen out of nowhere and they weren't Luz? They probably couldn't be trusted.

"Owww...I hated that." The blue-haired girl groaned as she got up. "Everyone okay?"

"I've been better." The pink-haired girl said simply, getting up and brushing herself off. She then offered her hand out to their last companion, helping her to her feet.

The green-haired girl had a pout across her face. "Why couldn't we fly again? I miss that!"

"You still tripped, Mar-Mar. In the vacuum of space." The pink-haired girl said. "I don't even know how that's scientifically possible."

'Mar-Mar' huffed. "I guess I'm just gonna be a klutz my entire life...I hope there aren't any stairs in this dimension..."

The blue-haired girl then looked around. "Well, Marcy, Sasha...we may not have to worry about that. Cause I don't even know where the heck we are."

"Do you even know what universe you opened that portal to, Anne?" Marcy asked, looking around as well.

"No," Anne said, shrugging. "I just hoped things would work out as they went along. Unfortunately, I don't have a catalog of the Multiverse on hand."

Marcy hummed. "Which technically speaking, that would be physically impossible. The Multiverse is an infinite mass of space with more and more universes or even other multiverses entirely being spawned from it. So, unless the catalog is also infinite, which would be pointless to have since you would just be reading it for all eternity, then it's unable to be done...come to think of it, how did The Core think they were gonna conquer The Multiverse when it's-"

Sasha then grabbed Marcy's shoulders. "Mars...I want to encourage you to express yourself and my therapist instincts say to do so...but you are hurting my brain."

Marcy giggled sheepishly. "Sorry, Sashy!"

"You're too adorable to be mad at." Sasha said, patting Marcy's head. "Any ideas on where to start? We should probably look for civilization or something."

Marcy hummed and began walking, her walk confident and determined...before she tripped again. But this time, over King, who had literally been standing there the entire time in awe.

Anne blinked. "Wow, she really is just gonna be a klutz forever."

Marcy then groaned, but then heard another groan from King.

"HEY, GET OFF OF ME!" King whined as he managed to slither away from Marcy, standing up only to be yoinked up by Sasha.

Sasha examined him, her eyes wide as she looked at his skull, horns and fur. She then saw his collar and hummed to herself.

"PUT ME DOWN!!!" King exclaimed, flailing his arms around.

Anne slowly stepped over, her eyes starry. "Oh. My. Frog...this thing is adorable!"

King groaned. "First Luz and now you! I'm not even a kid anymore! Now put me down!!!"

Sasha snapped out of it and put him down. "Oh! Sorry, kid! Ummm...we're new here."

"Obviously." King said as he brushed himself off, giving Sasha the threatening look that Eda had taught him...and Hooty, but his was too weird to be done by anyone other than him.

Marcy then knelt down, also examining King. "Fascinating...what are you, little guy? Some kind of mystical demon?"

King turned to her. "Oh, I am beyond a demon, lady."

"Wait seriously-" Sasha began before seeing that Anne continued to fawn over the young King. "Anne, he's not that adorable. Calm down."

Anne cleared her throat. "Sorry."

King chuckled. "Well, you're too much like Luz, so you're probably not evil...the name's King! King Clawthorne!"

Marcy smiled. "I'm Marcy Wu! Over there are my besties, Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright! We're humans from Earth!"

Anne's eyes then widened. "Wait...you said 'beyond a demon' like there are demons...are we in Hell?! DID WE DIE?!?!"

Marcy grabbed Anne and began shaking her. "OH, FROG! WE'RE DEAD!"

King snorted and began to laugh. "No! You're not in...whatever Hell is. This is The Boiling Isles! A realm of witches and demons! Pretty much any myth you had exists right here."

"So...are we still dead?" Marcy asked, letting go of Anne.

"I don't think we died, Mar-Mar." Sasha said before leaning down to King's level to talk. "Listen, we came here to find someone powerful to help us stop some kind of interdimensional bad guy who is going to be causing some big problems. Do you know anyone like that?"

King hummed. "While I'm still kinda peeved you just picked me up...I do kinda understand the bad guy thing. Thankfully, you're looking at help right now AKA me!"

Sasha blinked. "Wait...you? You're barely as tall as my waist. Minus the horns anyway which look impressive."

"Thank you, but I am more powerful than I appear! I happen to be a Titan!" King said proudly. "Which is the demon equivalent of a god."

Marcy's eyes widened. "Wait, seriously?!?"

King laughed. "Yup! Heck, we're standing on my dad's corpse right now."

The Calamity Trio's eyes widened in horror and shock as they slowly looked down, feeling like they were disrespecting the dead.

Anne then gulped. "A...anyway...while w-we appreciate the help, King...we might need someone more-"

"Nah, I get it. Thankfully, Luz should be able to help!" King smiled. "She pretty much saved the world."

"Wait, really? We aren't the only ones who did something like that?" Sasha asked.

"And how exactly did she do that?" Anne asked, concerned. "She...she didn't have to die like I did, did she?"

"DON'T REMIND US!" Sasha and Marcy cried.

"Oh, she can tell you all about it!" King said before running right out of the forest. "C'mon!!!"

"Hey! Wait up, little guy!" Marcy called out, quickly chasing after King.

Sasha raced after her companion, with Anne following behind...and for some reason...

The name 'Luz' sounded familiar.
