Snow Island
(A lone snowy and icy island in the middle of the ocean starts to suddenly rumble scaring away any small dragon on it. Then a huge lightning bolt strikes the island creating a crack which is followed by a loud shriek)
Outcast Island
(The riders are at the outcast island that is destroyed with burn marks and broken stractures all over the place)
Ruffnut: Whoa, I don't like it.
Y/n: Weird. I don't see any arrows or spears.
Fishlegs: No boulders from catapults.
Hicca: This really doesn't seem like a Dragon Hunter attack.
Astrid: Well, whoever did this meant business.
Fishlegs: And where did everybody go?
Astrid: They must have evacuated.
Fishlegs: What could possibly scare the Outcasts off their own island?
Tuffnut: Mutton famine?
Ruffnut: Bed bugs? Once those things show up, you can never get rid of 'em.
(Y/n walks over to a burn mark on the rocky walls)
Y/n: I think this has something to do with it.
(The burn marks look like lightning bolts)
Y/n: These scorch marks look familiar.
Fishlegs: Y/n, do you think it could be...
-----Time Skip-----
(The dragon riders are riding towards the snowy island)
Hicca: There. That's the one.
-----Time Skip-----
(They are all looking down into a big and deep crack)
Snotlout: Yep. The Skrill is gone.
Tuffnut: That's a good title for a song. I'm gonna work on that when we get home.
Fishlegs: How did this happen?
Tuffnut: Shoddy workmanship, I'd say.
Ruffnut: Aren't we the ones who sealed him in that big hole?
Y/n: It doesn't matter how it got out. We've got to get it back before it causes more destrution, or before Dagur gets a hold of it.
Astrid: Well, the question is, where is it heading?
Fishlegs: Since the Skrill gravitates towards storms to channel its lightning, I would say it's following that storm headed due South from Outcast Island.
Snotlout: Hey, isn't Berk...? Oh, no.
Berk
(Lightning is striking all around berk when one of the bolts hit a house and the skrill appears roaring. Team A flies up towards the Skrill)
Gustav: Auxiliary riders! Circle formation!
(Y/n and the riders arrive seeing the A team fighting the Skrill)
Astrid: Hey, look at that. The A-team, already on the case.
Hicca: Yeah, okay, you know, it might be a little early in their dragon riding careers to-
(The Skrill starts to shoot out lightning all around it hitting the A team)
Gustav: Look out!
(All but Spitelout fall to the ground)
Spitelout: Is that all you got, you sparky lizard? No offense to you, of course. Ahh!
(He gets hit by lightning and he falls off his dragon)
Snotlout: Dad!
(He flies at Spitelout)
Y/n: Cover the downed Riders!
(They start to make thier way to the ground when Bahamut stops and growls at the Skrill who is right in front of them)
Y/n: Bahamut? No.
(The Skrill roars at them causing Bahamut to charge up an attack, he charges at the Skrill)
Y/n: Bahamut, no!
(The Skrill and Bahamut fire at the same time and when the blasts collide it creates a shockwave that throws Y/n off Bahamut)
Y/n: Bahamut!
(Bahamut dives at Y/n but over shoots it and falls onto the ground)
Y/n: Oh, come on!
(Y/n opens his wing suit and glides onto the back of Skullcrusher right behind Stoick)
Y/n: Hey, room for one more?
Stoick: Where in the name of Thor did those wings come from?
Y/n: Wings? Oh, we'll tell you later. Right now, I have to get Bahamut.
(They land near Bahamut who shakes his head)
Y/n: Bahamut!
(He runs to Bahamut and hugs him)
Y/n: Are you okay?
(Bahamut licks Y/n causing him to chuckle)
Stoick: Interesting strategy, going nose to nose with the Skrill.
Y/n: Yeah, that wasn't my strategy.
(The other riders land near them as Snotlout helps Spitelout to walk)
Astrid: Snotlout, is he okay?
Snotlout: It's my dad. He bludgeons his own head for sport. Of course he's fine.
(Spitelout tries to speak but it comes out as groaning and grunting)
Snotlout: Like I said, he's fine. Except for that blast of lightning he took to the head. Aw, thanks, Dad! I'm proud of you, too.
Fishlegs: Well, all the huts seem to be in fairly good condition.
Hicca: All except for one.
Stoick: My house!
Ruffnut: Hey, Chief, is the charred look in this year?
Tuffnut: I actually happen to think it's trés chic, Chief. I'm thinking of doing it to our hut back on the Edge.
Astrid: Weird that Stoick's house is the only one the Skrill attacked.
Fishlegs: Huh. That could explain why the Skrill went to Outcast Island and then here.
Hicca: Yeah, it's not randomly attacking. It's looking for Y/n and Bahamut.
Astrid: And Outcast Island is the last place it saw you guys, before-
Y/n: Before we led it into the crevasse and sealed it inside.
Snotlout: He's mad at you.
Y/n: You're right. It is mad. And it's looking for revenge for trapping it back in that glacier.
Astrid: What choice did we have? It was either that or let Dagur have it.
Hicca: Why don't you explain that to the Skrill?
(Bahamut growls)
Y/n: Relax, Bahamut. We've dealt with the Skrill before, we'll deal with it again.
Tuffnut: Is it just me, or is Snotlout's dad acting a little more violent and deranged than usual?
(Spitelout is waving an axe around)
Snotlout: Looks like the Skrill isn't the only one out for revenge. Fear not, dear Father. You will be avenged. We Jorgensons will have our pound of Skrill flesh. I will make sure of it.
Astrid: Clearly, the Skrill is coming back to Berk for you and Bahamut, and we need to be ready.
(Y/n gets on Bahamut's back)
Y/n: We're not waiting for it, Astrid.
-----Time Skip-----
(Y/n is preparing to go after the Skrill as Hicca and Astrid walk up to him)
Hicca: You're sure this is the way you want to do it, Y/n?
Y/n: It's me and Bahamut it wants. It's me and Bahamut it's gonna get.
Astrid: But don't you think it would be better if we were there? It doesn't stand a chance against all of us.
Y/n: It knows that, I don't think it'll show up unless it knows it's just me and Bahamut.
Hicca: All right, guys, you heard him. Let's saddle up.
Snotlout: What's that, Dad? You want to stay behind because you have total confidence that I will get your revenge for you? Ha! I respect that-
(Spitelout showes him away and gets on Hookfang)
Snotlout: Oh, you changed your mind? You want to see me avenge you. Oh. Can't say I can blame you. It will be a spectacular...
(He turns to the others and sees that they are gone)
Snotlout: And everyone's gone.
-----Time Skip-----
Y/n: Okay, guys, we'll see you soon. The Skrill will be coming back to Berk as soon as he knows we're alone.
(The riders fly away leaving Y/n and Bahamut alone)
Y/n: All right, bud. Head in the game.
(He and Bahamut fly up towards the clouds)
Y/n: He's around here somewhere. Let's see if we can't get his attention.
(Bahamut starts to blast at the clouds, trying to lure the Skrill out but nothing happens)
Y/n: I can't see him. Can you?
(Suddenly lightning starts to strike all around Y/n and Bahamut, they look up and see the Skrill)
Y/n: Okay, Bahamut, now!
(Bahamut dives down as the Skrill fires at them. They start to fly low with the Skrill following them)
Y/n: Nice move. Now, keep him close but not too close.
(They start to dodge as the Skrill continues to fire at them)
Y/n: Come on, just a little longer.
Snow Island
(Meanwhile the other riders are back at the Island melting a new hole for the Skrill)
Fishlegs: Okay, this trench is definitely deeper than the last one.
Hicca: Hopefully its deep enough to hold the Skrill this time.
Snotlout: You mean after the Jorgensons exact their revenge, right? We should at least be the ones to melt him into that hole.
Astrid: Snotlout, we don't have time for the Jorgenson nonsense.
(Spitelout groans and grunts at her)
Astrid: If you have something to say, say it.
Snotlout: Real funny, Astrid. She messes with me like that all the time. We're totally on the same page and she's in love with me.
(They hear screeching and see Bahamut and Y/n leading the Skrill towards them)
Hicca: Here he comes!
Astrid: Okay, as soon as it's inside and Y/n and Bahamut are clear, we seal it up.
Y/n: Bahamut, aim for the tunnel.
(Y/n and Bahamut fly into the tunnel but insted of following them, the Skrill stops and looks at the hole. It's looks up and sees the riders)
Hicca: Uh-oh. That's not good.
Snotlout: What's going on? Why did it stop?
Fishlegs: Call me crazy, but I think he knows it's a trap.
Ruffnut: That is one smart dragon.
Tuffnut: I hate smart dragons. Which is why I love you.
(Y/n looks back and doesn't see the Skrill anywhere near him)
Y/n: Well, this isn't good.
(He and Bahamut turn around. Meanwhile, the Skrill fires at the hole which makes big ice blocks fall in front of the entrance. Then it flies up towards the riders who fly away and starts to close the other end of the hole)
Astrid: It's trying to seal Y/n and Bahamut inside!
Hicca: We need to stop it!
(The Skrill looks at them as Spitelout flies Hookfang towards it)
Snotlout: Watch out!
(They dodge a blast from the Skrill and crash land on the island. The Skrill starts to chace Hicca and Toothless around while Spitelout screams at it)
Snotlout: Dad, stop yelling. I can't think. We gotta distract that Skrill. Hey! You wanna piece of me?
(Spitelout screams and waves two axes around)
Snotlout: Will you let me handle this?! I mean us? Bring it on, Sparky.
(The Skrill charges at them but Bahamut blasts through the ice and at the Skrill)
Y/n: That's for trapping us in an ice tunnel.
Snotlout: Hey, how come he gets revenge?
(Y/n starts to fly away with the Skrill chasing him and Bahamut)
Y/n: Okay, new plan. I don't have one yet. For now, we just need to find safe cover. And I know exactly where that is. Bahamut, head North.
(They fly into the ship graveyard. The Skrill hits Bahamut's wing making him roar in pain)
Y/n: Bahamut, hold on! Hold on!
(They crash land onto a dragon hunter ship)
Y/n: That could've hurt more. I suppose. But only slightly. Okay. Let's have a look at your wing.
(Bahamut opens his wings and Y/n sees a small burn on one of them)
Y/n: Let's get some bandages.
(Y/n looks through his bag and sees that he has not packed any with him)
Y/n: And of course I forgot to pack some. Well, at least we lost the Skrill.
(Suddenly the Skrill starts to fire at them from the clouds)
Y/n: He's trying to flush us out. Let's see if we can find something to fix that wing.
(Y/n hears creaking and looks up seeing the mast of the ship falling towards them)
Y/n: Bahamut, look out!
(Y/n grabs Bahamut and they jump out of the way. Y/n looks at a broken flag that is on the mast)
Y/n: Thank you, Dragon Hunters.
(Y/n goes and takes a piece of the flag. He walks over to Bahamut and takes out a bottle from his bag, he applies some cream or oil onto the burn and wraps it up in the fabric)
Y/n: We'll need to wait for a while so it can heal.
-----Time Skip-----
(After a while Bahamut tries to flap his wings and is able to do so while still having the bandage on)
Y/n: That should be good enough to get us up in the air. But how are we going to take out that Skrill? Then again, maybe maybe we don't have to. I bet those Dragon Hunters would love to see this guy in action.
(The Skrill fires at them again and they look up at it)
Y/n: Come on, bud. Let's get that Skrill to follow us.
Dragon Hunter Ship
Dragon Hunter: Cap, there's a storm approaching. Should we change course, sir?
Ryker: Yes. Turn about, due South.
Dagur: Wait a minute. Nobody move.
(Dagur is looking at the storm with a spyglass)
Ryker: Oh, what is it now, Dagur?
Dagur: That's no storm. I'd know those magnificent flashes anywhere. That's my Skrill! Head towards it!
Ryker: What? A Skrill, you say? That's very rare. Very valuable. You've seen this one before?
Dagur: Have I seen it? I've owned it. It's mine! All mine! After all these years, my baby's home. Come home to Daddy Dagur, Skrilly. I've missed you so!
(Y/n and Bahamut are flying towards the hunter ship with the Skrill following them)
Y/n: All right, just stay low and they won't see us, Bahamut. Not with that light show going on up there.
(Dagur sees the Skrill up in the clouds and looks at the hunters preparing to shoot it)
Dagur: Don't even think about it. That's my dragon up there.
Ryker: Let him handle this. He knows the dragon better than any of us.
Y/n: This is it, bud.
(Y/n and bahamut fly up knocking Dagur to the ground. Dagur looks up at Y/n shocked and confused)
Dagur: Was that Y/n? Why would he lead a Skrill right to us? It's not my birthday. Or is it? Be ready! When the Skrill gets spooked, it'll run for the clouds. And we don't want it to channel that lightning. Oh, no, we don't. Archers, fire!
(The archers fire at the Skrill and one manages to hit its tail. It falls into the water)
Y/n: Okay, sounds like the Hunters fell for it. Now, let's go get him out of the water before they get there. Come on, Bahamut. If Dagur gets the Skrill, he'll be impossible to deal with, not that he's fun anyway.
Dragon Hunter: Sir, a Night Cutter!
Y/n: Come on, Bahamut. Here we go. Here we go.
(Y/n grabs his sword and is ready to cut the rope that is dragging the Skrill up onto the ship, but the hunters fire at Y/n and Bahamut forcing them to dodge and fly up and out of their range)
Dagur: Stay away from my Skrill, Y/n! Hurry! Hurry, bring him to me!
Ryker: Forget them. They're out of range.
Dagur: Thanks for the gift, Y/n. It will make an excellent weapon.
Ryker: And if not, its hide will fetch a hefty price.
(The Skrill roars as it is dragged onto the ship)
Y/n: What have I done? I've led it right into Dagur's hands.
Dragon's Edge
(Y/n lands at the stables where the others are wating for him)
Astrid: Y/n! What happened?
Hicca: Are you okay?
Fishlegs: Where have you been?
Y/n: It's a long story.
Tuffnut: Or is it a very short story?
(Tuffnut looks at the bandage with the hunters symbol on it)
Tuffnut: Looks to me like someone has changed his allegiance. I knew this day would come. Seize him!
(Ruffnut runs to Y/n and tackles him to the ground)
Y/n: What the-
Ruffnut: Got you, traitor!
(Fishlegs goes to take Ruffnut off Y/n)
Tuffnut: Fishlegs is in on it too. No, you don't.
(They all form a pile ontop of Y/n)
Hicca: Okay, everybody, stop jumping on everybody.
Fishlegs: How could you even think that? Y/n? A Dragon Hunter? Just the idea that he would even have anything to do with them! Huh!
Y/n: Let's not go quite that far, Fishlegs.
(The others look at Y/n confused)
Tuffnut: Uh.
-----Time Skip-----
Astrid: You let the Dragon Hunters capture the Skrill?
Hicca: How did that happen?
Y/n: That wasn't the plan. They were supposed to take it down and then we would swoop in and grab it away. But-
Fishlegs: They got to it first.
Snotlout: So, Dagur has the Skrill again? Great! Now he's just gonna chain that thing up like a puppet and take him on a "Greatest Hits" attack run of the archipelago! I agree, Dad, I'm very disappointed in Y/n, too.
Y/n: They had a new net-shooting catapult.
Ruffnut: Net-shooting catapult. You know, no one ever plans for the intangibles.
Fishlegs: But, Y/n, it's just-
Tuffnut: Confusing. I know that I, for one, am confused.
Ruffnut: Yet, intrigued.
Tuffnut: Ah, yes. Moral ambiguity. Something else you can never see coming. Yep, catapult nets and moral ambiguity.
Y/n: Look, there's no moral ambiguity here. I messed up. I messed up bad. And I'm not sure how to fix it.
(Tuffnut and Ruffnut gasp in horror)
Tuffnut: Huh?
Ruffnut: Whoa.
Hicca: What?
Tuffnut: We've just never heard Y/n say that before.
Ruffnut: He always know how to fix it.
Y/n: Yeah, well, surprise, surprise. I'm not perfect.
Tuffnut: What? No. What? Whose painting am I going to have above my bed?
Astrid: First of all, ew. Second, everything you did, you did to protect that dragon and to protect all of us. Now, the question isn't how you fix it, it's how we all fix it. As a team.
Snotlout: My dad says we're letting you off too easy, but we're still in.
Hicca: Now, we just have to figure out a way to find the Hunters.
Fishlegs: Y/n, which way was that storm heading?
Y/n: East.
Fishlegs: Then they will be going West. That way, the Skrill can't harness the lightning and attack them.
Hicca: Good thinking, Fishlegs.
Y/n: If I remember correctly, there's a group of islands just West of where we were. Lots of secluded beaches and coves to hide in.
-----Time Skip-----
(The riders arrive at a island)
Fishlegs: Y/n, I-I think I found them. There's a campfire and a lot of singing in really deep voices around the other side of the island.
(They fly towards a hunter camp where dragon hunters are gathered around campfires)
Dragon Hunter: Oh, tell the one about the Viking girl with the hairy bunions.
Hicca: Okay, we'll quietly make our way along the tree line over to those cages. That must be where they're holding the Skrill.
Snotlout: My dad says that's a terrible plan and that we should just attack. Wait, what?
(Spitelout rushes out of the cover of their bush and towards the hunters)
Y/n: Change of plans. We'll use Spitelout as a distraction. Snotlout, you and your dad keep the Hunters busy while the rest of us go get the Skrill.
(Snotlout and Hookfang go to assist Spitelout while the others go look for the Skrill)
Y/n: Let's go, Bahamut.
(Spitelout starts to beat the hunters one by one when Snotlout and Hookfang arrive to him and knock some of the hunters out too)
Snotlout: Dad, up here. What do you mean, where have I been? You're welcome.
(While they distract them hunters the other riders sneak past them to the cages. They see one of the cages in the water while being covered)
Y/n: That's gotta be the right cage. It's the only one submerged in the water. Cover me.
(Y/n uncovers the cage revealing the Skrill who roars at him)
Y/n: I know, I know, you can't fire while you're in the water. But don't worry. We're here to help.
(Y/n goes to touch the Skrill but it snaps at him making Bahamut roar at it)
Y/n: Bahamut. I'm okay. All right, pal, let's just keep it down or they'll hear us.
Ryker: Oh, it's too late for that.
(They turn around and see that the are surrounded by dragon hunters. A few dragon hunters jump at Bahamut and Toothless and cover them in nets)
Dagur: Told you he'd come back for my Skrill. How could you, Y/n? We've barely had time to get reacquainted. It's all right, baby. This is all still so new.
Ryker: Never mind that, Dagur. Just look at all the new dragons your friend has brought us. Cage 'em up. And muzzle the Night Cutter and the Night Fury.
(The hunters put muzzles on Bahamut and Toothless as Y/n is pushed up to the other riders)
Y/n: Hmm.
Hicca: What are you thinking?
Y/n: That the enemy of my enemy-
Astrid: Might kill us all?
Y/n: Well, yeah. But he also might help us.
(Y/n runs towards the hunters holding Bahamut and Toothless and knocks them out with ease)
Y/n: Bahamut! Toothless! The cage!
(Bahamut and Toothless run to the Skrills cage and start to push it to the land. With one final push, Bahamut and Toothless are able to get the cage onto the land causing a lightning bolt to strike the cage. The Skrill roars and starts to blast the hunters, Ryker prepares to shoot a arrow at the Skrill but Y/n gets in front of him)
Y/n: No!
(As Ryker fires at Y/n, Bahamut jumps in front of Y/n taking the hit instead)
Y/n: Bahamut.
(The Skrill flies up and starts to emit lightning)
Dagur: Uh, what's it doing?
Ryker: You tell me. It's your dragon.
(The Skrill dives torward over Y/n and Bahamut towards Ryker and Dagur)
Dagur: Oh, no.
(The Skrill blasts at them and starts to destroy the camp site. Spitelout a bow and shoots the Skrill down)
Snotlout: He's saying, "Spitelout, Spitelout, oy, oy, oy".
-----Time Skip-----
(The riders arrive back at the snow island with the Skrill in a net)
Astrid: Okay, Fishlegs, a little to the left. Now, a little to the right. All right, that's it. Lower him in.
(Y/n and the Skrill lock eyes)
Y/n: Wait! We can't do this.
Snotlout: Sure we can. We drop him in, and then, boom, we seal it closed.
Y/n: What I mean is, we shouldn't do this.
Astrid: Y/n, the Skrill hunted you and Bahamut. It wanted to kill you.
Y/n: But it didn't. It saved us. And it risked its own life doing it. If we do this, we're no better than the Dragon Hunters.
(Y/n gently touches the Skrills head)
Y/n: We're just using a different cage. And he doesn't deserve that.
Hicca: His right guys.
(Fishlegs lowers the Skrill down and Y/n takes out his sword and cuts the net releasing the Skrill, it roars and starts to emit lightning while approaching Y/n and Bahamut. Y/n and the Skrill look at each other and the Skrill lowers its head, bowing to Y/n and Bahamut as thanks. Y/n and Bahamut do the same)
Tuffnut: Why are we lowering our heads? Oh, are we checking foreheads? Is there something on my forehead?
(The Skrill roars and bolts into the clouds. Then a lightning bolt hits Spitelout)
Astrid: So, you knew he wouldn't turn on us if we let him go, huh?
Y/n: Yeah, I guess so.
Hicca: Of course you did.
Snotlout: Well, my dad says he's very proud of us, especially me. His favorite son.
Spitelout: I didn't say that.
Snotlout: Dad, you got your voice back! That's great.
Spitelout: Is it? We'll see about that.
(He grabs Snotlouts shoulder hard)
Snotlout: Ow! Ow! Ow!
Spitelout: We have a lot to talk about, boy-o.
