“Lets go watch a movie” Harry says everyone gets up and I follow them I catch up with El and Louis and unexpectantly grab their hands and walk between them. It feels so right. I sit next to el and Louis and start watching a movie called toy story.
Stop hurting them I’m taking them with me.im giving them the life they deserve. He is making them angry I’m so scared. I’ve been pulled by my uncle and my mum my uncle has my little sister in his arm trying to get us away from this hell. A hand looses grip on my arm I look down there is so much blood.
I wake up with a little scream. I was 5 at the time that my mother’s boyfriend killed my uncle and little sister he hit him on the head with an axe my uncle fell forward and crushed the baby. It was scary I have never told anyone this before.
I look at the clock and it is 3:30 I don’t remember falling asleep in my room someone must have brought me up.
I decide to draw I grab my drawing book from under my bed and begin to draw. Once I think I have finished I look down and relies that I have drawn the scene from my bad dream. I close the book and hide it again.
I get out of bed about 5:30 and go down stairs no one is awake. I go into the kitchen I look in the fridge and cupboards and find some stuff to cook for breakfast. I pull out stuff for pancakes and mix it together once I cook enough pancakes I start cutting some fruit and cook some scrambled eggs and bacon.
“Wow you cooked” I turn around and see El standing there. I nod and take the rest of the stuff to the table and set up plates and cutlery I notice El has dissappered. I stand back and look at table it looks good. I hear someone running down the stairs and see Niall and Harry racing to the table they sit down and started tucking in there like pigs. Liam, Dani, Louis and El follow behind.
“Boys slow down leave some for us and Zayn, Perrie and Gracie” Liam says as they sit down.
He looks around the table “wow you cooked all this on your own” I nod he stares at me like it is an amazing feat.
“Wow who cooked the feast” I hear Zayn say coming downstairs. Followed by Perrie
I raise my hand
“Huh ok then” he replies.
“This food is amazing Gracie how did you learn to cook?” Louis ask
I just shrug.
“Hey have you eaten yet? I don’t think you ate anything yesterday” Louis says.
I sit down and take a pancake I try cutting it but not so lucky so Zayn grabs my plate and cuts it up for me I eat about half of it I can’t eat any more. So I just play with my food pushing it around on my plate.
‘What’s the matter kid?” Zayn ask
“Full” I say.
Louis POV
She has cooked us an amazing breakfast there is so much food yet she has only eaten half a pancake it worries me she is hardly eats. Just another thing we will need to work on “Sooo Miss Gracie what do you think about going shopping today buy lots of new things”? I ask her
“That would be wonderful thank you. May I get some books I like to read “
“Of course you can princess you can get anything you want”
“So Gracie bear what is one thing that no one on this planet knows about you?” Niall ask her
She looks a little nervous and looks like she is having a debate in her head
“I want to be a child councilor when I grow up”
Wow she is ambitious “that sounds good and you know what Gracie Bear you are going to make an amazing councilor” Niall replies. She gets up and starts cleaning
“Hey hey no we can clean up you cooked we clean” Liam says
“Ok then May I be excused” she ask
Liam Nods and she walk up to her room
We get into two cars Me,El,Grace,Niall and Harry in one and the others in the other car. Niall is griving and me and El sit in the back with Grace between us.
“hey Gracie we have something to tell to. All us boys are in a famous boy band so when we go shopping there may be lot of people screaming at us but the good news is you can get anything you like when we go shopping” I say she looks shocked
“will I get hurt?” she ask
“definenetly not we wont let anything happen to you princess, we will protect you with our lives all of us will.” El replies Grace stays quiet and looks like she is contemplating something.
We get to the shopping center and I can see paparazzi everywhere Grace looks scared maybe this was a bad idea. The boys start putting beanies and glasses on and I pass one to Grace to put on she looks at it but puts in on. People are going to be trying to grab us there will be screaming. We get out of the car and Grace is standing between me and El she looks petrified there is so much screaming it actually hurts my head I look at Grace she looks petrified she has stopped walking.
“Hey baby girl I am going to carry you in don’t be scared ok” I say to Grace and I scoop her up and put her on my hip she feels tense but cuddles me trying to hide she is so light and I can feel her ribs. We get inside and there is less people in here I put Grace down she looks around scared. El grabs hold of her hand and they start walking.
“Me Perrie and Dani will take Gracie and get clothes, books and other things we will meet you in the food court in 2 hours” El says
“Aww but I wanted to take my princess shopping” I say in a whining voice
“You can after we finished with clothes then we will call you and we can go together to get the rest my big baby” she replies
I laugh at her “aww thanks hunny love you” I say giving her a hug
“Have fun princess remember get what you want” I say to Gracie
“Thanks Louis” she says with smiling a real smile she is missing her two front top teeth it is adorable.
Me and the boys start walking around and buy a few little things for ourselves. Then go and wait at the food court
El POV
We start walking there are quite a few people here I feel Gracie grabs my hand and moves in closer to my side. We walk into the store and go over to the clothes. Dani and Perrie start looking me pick out a dress a show it to her she looks a little freaked.
“I don’t want to wear dresses bad things happen in dresses” she says
I bend down to her height “What happens when you wear dresses honey?” maybe it is something I don’t want to know but if she wants to talk I will listen.
“Umm nothing don’t worry “she shrugs
“You sure honey? You know if you ever need to talk about anything I will always be here for you” I say
“Thanks mu I mean El” wow she almost called me Mum. I will talk to Louis about this she if he thinks she should call us mum and Dad.
She walks a bit away and starts picking some clothes out jeans and shirts. They look a bit big
“Hey babe what you found?” Dani ask her
“Just some jeans and shirts”
“They look a bit big don’t they?”
“No they are ok” she replies
“Hey honey do you want me to hold your stuff” I ask her
“Are you sure?”
“Of course” she passes me the clothes and her Dani and Perrie start looking at another rack I look at the sizes they are at least 3 sizes too large. A little curious.
We finish up and go pay for the stuff. We then go and find the boys they are at the food court
“Yay can we go and get food now” Niall ask bouncing around.
“Come on Ni ni lets go get you food” Zayn says with amusement.
“Me ladies what can I get you for lunch” Louis ask in a really posh accent causing me and Grace to giggle
“Can I have some satay chicken please and a coke” I say
“Can I please just have a water” Gracie ask
“Just water?” Louis ask her
“Yes please” she is so cute and polite me and the girls take a seat Grace sits next to me
“So Honey you sure you don’t want some food”
Grace POV
“You sure you don’t want food honey?”El ask
I nod my head
You don’t need to eat you stupid fat bitch. No one anyone loves you your so fat and ugly no one is ever going to love you while you are so fat and ugly. I sneaked some food when I was 5 I hadn’t eaten in 3 days I was so hungry but Mum caught me she made me vomit it back up and she was pushing my face into it and punching slapping and kicking me repeatedly she then pulled me by my hair and throws me into a small cupboard in the house that was dark and I hated it, it was so small she would lock me in there for days at a time. Mum tells me I’m should only eat once a week so I used to drink water to make myself full.
“So what are you getting to eat Bubby girl?”
I jump and let out a little scream I quickly cover my mouth. I look and see Zayn sitting next to me look at me.
I shake my head he just looks at me like I’m weird. I look at the table and there is so many food on it smells so good but I can’t eat I want someone to love me eventually and since I ate at breakfast.
Once they finish eating we decide to walk around the shop and see if there is anything else. Zayn goes off and says he will find us in a minute. I wonder where he is going. We walk towards the pet shop Niall wants to have a look around I follow him and we go to the puppies I read the sign they are Burmese mountains dogs. There is one n the corner whilst the other ones play fight. They are so cute I wish I could get one. I go over and pick it up it snuggles into my neck. I sit down.
“Looouis” I hear Niall yell.
“What do you reckon so you like him?” Louis Ask
“Very much so” I reply
“Well ill go and get some things for him and pay, try and think of names for him”
I can feel my face light up I get up and was about to give him a hug put stop. He smiles and ruffles my hair. I give him a big smile back. Niall comes and stands next to me
“Have you thought f a name yet” he ask me.
I shake my head
Zayn POV
I ring Liam to see where they are they are at the pet store. Oh god why the pet store last time we went to have a look me and Li had practically carry Niall out and he was almost crying because we wouldn’t let him get anything. We better not have a repeat of that. I get to the pet shop and see harry standing to the side with a smile on his face I look at to where he is looking and in one of the dog cages I see Grace sitting in the corner with a puppy with a smile on her face. It is so cute. I look around and see Li Lou and El at the counter with a whole lot of dog stuff. And I see Ni bouncing around and coming to stand near us
“Zayn Zayn Zayn where getting a puppy” niall says whilst still jumping around. I laugh at his antics.ive always wanted a puppy it is awesome. We are finally finished getting all the stuff and Louis puts the puppy into a carry cage and we get going to the car. The paparazzi are still all over the place and everyone has their arms full but me. Grace looks scared again she looks aver to me with such fear in her eyes. I go over to her and she does something unexpected she holds her arms up to be picked up. I pick her up and put her on my hip and she hugs as tight as she can and hides into my neck. We get to the car and me her slide straight in whilst the boys put the stuff into the back Grace sits is still sitting on my lap and hugging me she moves her head to my heart she feels a little tense but she doesn’t move and I don’t move her she fits against my chest perfectly. The boys get into the car and place the puppy on the spare seat Louis looks at me and raise his eyebrow I just shrug. We start driving and she relaxed into me. Her breathing becomes shallow. I look down I think she is asleep. I lean my head back against the car seat and close my eyes.
I get woken up by low mumbling and someone moving I look down and relies that it is Gracie she looks like she is in pain.
“Gracie wake up kidlett I think your having a bad dream” I shake her awake. She wakes up and looks petrified she relies she is on my lap and jumps of and falls onto the floor she truly looks petrified. Then what she says shocks me even more
She looks at us petrified "s sorry i fell asleep without permission it wont happen again
“sweetie we are not going to hurt you ever no matter what you do I promise we won’t hurt you, no one will ever hurt you again without getting passed us and you can go fall asleep whenever you like”El says whilst holding back tears just like the rest of us. We all agree with her. She just looks down at her hands.
“Come here sweetie jump of the floor”El says.
She looks around and I can see her relax again I lift up the dog cage and put it on my lap and pat the seat next to me. She gets up and sits in it and looks through the dog cage.
Louis POV
We get home and the boys take her stuff upstairs to her room and I set the puppy cage in the lounge room and she sits in front of it. She looks up at me with hopeful eyes.
“You can get him out you know, he is your puppy”
Her face literally lights up. It is an amazing feeling knowing that I am helping make her happy it will be my mission to make her happy. I sit on the couch next to El and she gently gets the puppy out. She cuddles him gently with her one good arm
“So missy have you picked a name for him yet” I ask her
“I was thinking Galileo” she replies the puppy lets out a little bark
“I think he likes it. Question though what a Galileo it sounds like alcohol is?” I say. She looks at me like I am an idiot
“Galileo was a physicist, mathematician, astronomer and a philosopher he played a major role in the scientific revolution.” She says so matter of factly. The boys are rolling on the floor laughing.
“Can I please go to the music room” she asks me she looks at me with her beautiful blue eyes.
“Of course honey but in about 2 hrs we have to go out we are going to go to the doctor” as soon as I say that she goes as white as a sheet.
“Don’t worry hunny I will be in there with you” says El
“May I please be excused?” she ask
“Yea no worries princess.” I say she runs upstairs with Galileo at her feet. She is really smart.
After about ten minutes I decide to go and check on her and El follows me up we stop at the music room. The door is closed but we can hear her playing. It is sweet considering she has a cast on as well. Then what we hear next is like an angle

I feel a tear trickle down my face that song will haunt me for the rest of my life. I look at El and she is a mess I pull her into a hug then lead her to the room where we sit and cry.
“We have to make sure that she never ever feels like that. “ El says
“I know baby I know” I look at the clock. “Hey we have to get ready to go to the doctor do you think you will be ok”
“Yea I’ll be fine ill go get Grace ready” she says she looks sad still
“Smile baby. I love you” I say
She turns around and smiles at me gosh she is so beautiful.

in my thoughts i begin to relise that she holds her farther in such high regard i will never be able to live up to that. im never going to be a real farther to her
El POV
I quickly go into the bathroom and wash my face then go to the music room to get Gracie. I knock on the door but there is no answer so I go in she is asleep with on the piano chair with the Galileo. I take a quick picture then take the puppy out of her arms and scoop her up and carry her downstairs where everyone is sitting. They all smile ad start taking photos.
“Ok we better get going who is coming.” They all jump up we get into 2 cars. We get there and I wake Gracie up. We get to the waiting room and we sit there and wait Gracie is sitting there with her hand in her lap she looks kind of scared. Go over and pick her up and sit her in my lap.
“Are you ok honey?” I ask her
“Do we have to do this?” she replies
“I’m really sorry honey but we just want to make sure you are healthy and all that because we care about you. Can I ask you a question?”
She looks at a little suspicious then says “yea”
“Why don’t you like doctor’s honey?”
She looks at me then looks at around at everyone and leans into me. I soothingly rub her back.
“Mummy will get mad and lock me in the cupboard.”
“Oh honey your mum isn’t here and is never going to get you. So no one is going to lock you in the cupboard ever.”
“Mummy said she swars she will get me back and she will always find a way to find out what naughty things I have done and she will punish me badly”
“Honey I promise we will protect you with our lives me, Louis, Zayn, Dani, Liam, Perrie, Harry and Niall also Paul and Simon and all our guards. Your horrible mother will never take you away from us. Pinky promise” I hold up my little finger. She looks at me confused
“A pinky promise can never be broken. All we do is wrap our pinkies around each other” we do it but she still doesn’t look convinced.
“Grace Tomlinson” a young doctor says grace doesn’t move
“Gracie honey we have to go in”
