Hudson:

Dropping my cell phone, Latia bounced up to me. Grappy slid down the railing, a wide grin on his face. Tears stained my cheeks, no words coming to mind. Evie was alive, my inner wolf begging for me to go get her. Sinking to my knees, a mixture of emotions showed on my face. Glancing up at everybody, my hands cupped my mouth.

"Evie's alive!" I stammered with wet eyes, the corner of lip twitching. "Evie's alive. I am not sure how but she's alive. My mate is alive. I am so happy I could die. We have to go now." Popping up to my feet, Grappy already held three overnight bags. Tossing me my car keys, my shaking hands cupping them like my life depended on it. Running out to my car, the door couldn't open fast enough. Grappy took the keys from me, realizing that I was in no condition to drive. Crashing into the passenger's seat, he adjusted the driver's seat. Dressed in a scarlet velvet suit, he tugged on a pair of leather gloves. Adjusting my heavy brown winter coat, he said nothing as he drove south. Long hours passed, the sun becoming the moon. Never stopping allowed us to come to a blown up burger joint. Getting out, the humidity got to me. Peeling off my coat, my band t-shirt clung to my skin. Several burnt remains lay around, a shaking woman coming out from the metal cabinets. Scanning her name tag, the name Nellie greeted me. A yellow rose spun in her palm, pieces of silvery hair fell in front of her face. Her horrified eyes watched me run my hands through my ash gray hair. The stress had wiped away any color, my old man basically looking back at me.

"Where did my wife go?" I asked gently, Grappy pacing back and forth behind me. "She has white hair and mismatched eyes." Pointing towards the words, hunters in black Italian suits lined the ground. A trail of ice gave away her path, Grappy already by my side. A snowflake touched the top of my hand, a blizzard soon whirling around us. Marching forward, a weakened Evie fought off ten hunters, bruises and cuts dotted her skin. Spinning her scythe over her head, her scythe blocked all the bullets. Bouncing off her blade, they all dropped forward. Sinking to her knees, an ivory tip stuck out of her left arm. Jamming it back into place, a bright light fused the shards together. Leaping to her feet, she ran towards me. Jumping into my arms, her lips kissed mine feverishly. My heart fluttered, her kisses growing more sensual. Feeling in between her legs, a familiar wetness caused my cock to stiffen. Grappy hung back, picking up the vibes.

"I need you so badly." She whispered lustfully, brushing her fangs along the nape of my neck. "I know I just came back from Hell but you need to trust me with this. We should get to a hotel or something so I can get all of this frustration out." Carrying her to the car, Grappy popped up next to me. Leaning into my ear, his explanation sent chills up my spine.

"I've heard that sexual hunger is a side effect from coming back from Hell. Who sent her back?" He pondered out loud, shoving his hands in his pockets. "The poor demon must not have wanted her. How peculiar?" Climbing into the back, her fingers walked over to my hard cock. Grappy plopped down in the driver's seat, her scythe shrinking back down to her dagger. Clipping it back onto her neck, her thighs rubbed together. Touching herself, a lustful groan poured from her lips. Watching her increased my desire to take her even if she looked like death warmed over. Hours passed like this, her skin burning hot. Crawling on top of my lap, her body rubbed against mine. A generic hotel sign flickered in the distance, the lust glinting in her eyes. Squealing to a halt, she watched as I left her in the car to check in. Coming back a few seconds later, a rosy pink painted her cheeks. Crawling over to me, it took every fiber of my being to not take her right then and there. Scooping her up, her palms rubbed against my exposed chest. Grappy carried our bags into the elevator, the rosy pink on her cheeks becoming a feverish glow. Making it into our room, Grappy leapt out the window to give us privacy. Scanning the olive walls, simple brown bedding complimented the down to Earth vibe. Laying her down, her quaking fingers undid all of the buttons. Rubbing my palms along her smooth skin, sensual moans poured from her lips. Fighting back tears, she was really here. Clutching her close to my chest, the fever wasn't going away. Sexual tension brewed in the air but I needed to hold her for a minute. Arching her body towards me, her lips grazed the nape of my neck. Pinning me down, a gruff groan escaped my lips the moment she yanked my pants down. Stroking my thick girth, a sense of euphoria washed over her. Taking all of me in, husky moans echoed in my ears. Tears flooded from my eyes, the mixed emotions confusing me. Focusing on the head, my body twitched with pleasure. Her scent made the moment that much sweeter, her loving gaze meeting my eyes. Crawling on top of me, her slender fingers wiped my tears away. Sitting on top of my face, her hips thrust with every suck on her swollen clit. Rubbing her thighs, her moans only got louder by the second. Damn! The sweet taste of strawberries only made me cry harder, the moment feeling so surreal. Jumping off, her ass wagged in my face.

"Take me from behind." She pleaded with puppy dog eyes, the fever still burned her cheeks. "I need you." Lining myself up, my name burst from her lips. Sliding my hands to her bountiful breasts, every rough squeeze making her scream louder. Covering her mouth, we didn't need to get kicked out. Bucking my hips wildly, her fangs grew over her lips. Flipping me underneath, an untouched Evie smiled sweetly. It was almost as if she didn't have any of the trauma, her grin grew wider as she sank onto me. Her breasts bounced with every sway of her hips, all of her emotion coming out with the increasing speed. Tears stained her cheeks, her hands guiding them to her hips.

"I can't believe you are here." I stuttered brokenly, her hips dancing faster. "It's so nice to be holding you." Lowering herself, her sweaty palms moved up my shirt. Pressing her hot skin against mine, her hips ground to the rhythm in her head. Rolling her over, she laid on her side. Lifting up her left leg, my name bounced off the wall with my thrust into her. Grinding our hips to the same rhythm, gruff groans escaped my lips. The sensation of euphoria washed over us, our climax coming soon. Laying her down on her back, my breath hitched at her beauty. Snaking her legs around my waist, her arms curled around my neck. Our hips danced to the same rhythm, short gasps echoing in each other's ears. The urge to mark her raged inside of me, her fangs tracing the nape of my neck. Sinking our fangs into each other's tender flesh, my hot seed filling her up. Collapsing next to each other, her fever had subsided. Resting her head on my chest, pure tears of joy streamed down our cheeks. Snores echoed in my ear, my inner wolf simply happy to have her in my arms. Sweet slumber stole me away to dreamland.

A couple of weeks had passed, the new Evie stunning everyone but me. Her polite smile burned brighter, the true trauma laid underneath. Today was different, her arm blocking me from entering the bathroom. Attempting to get in, she shook her head. Slamming the door in my face, the empty footfalls of her pacing back and forth haunted me. Washing her hands, her shoulder brushed with mine on the way out. Getting back into the kitchen, it was my turn to use the bathroom. No evidence lay in clear sight, the corner of a pink box capturing my attention. Pulling it out of the trash, my jaw dropped. Three positive tests clattered to the floor, the only person having to be her. Latia was currently in the hospital getting induced while Raven was pregnant already. Wandering into the kitchen, Raven and the boys were buried in their lesson in the other room. A frazzled Evie stood over at least five dozen muffins, her fingers drumming away. Pulling her in by the small of her waist, a hard but tiny bump rubbed against my abs.

"Anything you want to tell me?" I queried aggressively, watching her squirm. Her eyes fell on Flynn, milk staining her ruby silk blouse. Wails saved her from a twenty degree interrogation, her trembling fingers unbuttoned to the top buttons of her blouse. Flynn suckled on her nipple, her other hand ruffling his hair. Every cell in me wanted to squeeze her ample breasts, my irritated wolf telling me no.

"I am going to change him and we can get going to see your sister." She informed me briskly, eyeballing the pickle she left out. Disappearing upstairs, Grappy popped up next to me. Concern darkened his features, my lips pressing into a thin line. Noting his black band t-shirt and ripped jeans threw me off, the casual outfit would prove to be a good disguise. Stopping at the top of the stairs, a throat clearing caught our attention. Evie had changed her blouse to an ivory cotton shirt. Playing with Flynn's fox pajamas, she brushed past us. Spinning her keys on her fingers, the unlocking noise did little to unsettle my nerves.

"Is she pregnant again? I d-" He began, Death popping up in front of us. Dragging a stool out in front of us, he plopped down. His wild hair hung over his eyes, his worn face reminded me of Evie's features a second ago. A silent demand glistened in my eyes, his lips pressing into a thin line.

"Why did you have to have relations with her during her regularly scheduled heat?" He demanded in a hushed tone, Evie coming back in to gather her muffins. Grappy scurried outside to sit with our son, the three of us standing in stifling silence. Not saying a word, she loaded up the muffins. Our eyes fell on the hard bump pressing against her simple black pencil skirt, her eyes refusing to meet ours. Clicking the cover on, she smiled wryly in our direction. Running up the stairs, Death followed closely behind me. Ripping open the bathroom door, more tests rested on the sink. All five of them were positive, a small bit of pride swelling in my chest. There was no reason to hide any of it, my heart sinking at her fear. Honking stole us from our investigation, a trick came to mind. Stopping in the kitchen, I opened the secret snack cabinet. Picking out the white cheddar popcorn, she couldn't get enough of it with the last pregnancy. Death snapped his fingers, leaving no trace of him behind. Sauntering out to the car, her eyes twinkled at the sight of the popcorn. Bingo, I had her dead to rights. Sliding into the passenger's seat, Grappy held the basket of muffins.

"I suppose you both want to know what happened." She explained calmly, starting the car. "I must have been floating around for thirteen days because I woke up in a field of flowers. This demon named Solary didn't want to deal with me because she said that I could wipe out all of the other demons. I don't understand what she was getting at. I will have to ask Death once I reunite with him." Turning on the radio, the stress wore on her face. Bigger problems were coming our way, my hands crossing on my shaking lap. How could she not assume that it was obvious? Perhaps she was working through it herself. Peeling onto the road, no one said anything. The ride oozed awkwardness, the big H feeling like a beacon of hope. Excitement bubbled in me, the idea of being an uncle warming my heart. Parking the car, she turned the engine off. Hopping out, her cleavage taunted me as she struggled to get Flynn out. A triumphant grin spread across her face, my breath hitching at her playing with our son. Attempting to take the muffins, Grappy shook his head. Motioning for her to lead the way, she held her head up high. Marching in, Susie spun her around. Embracing her warmly, her eyes lit up at the basket of muffins. Tears poured from her eyes, Evie allowing her emotions to soak her shoulders, her eyes falling on the tiny curve of her belly. Pulling a needle from her pocket, she jammed it into the crooks of Evie's elbow. Drawing a couple of tubes of blood, she labeled them with grace. Evie's eyebrows twitched irritably, Susie whistling as she took the basket of muffins from Grappy. Her ponytail bounced with each step, Evie grumbling under her breath. Guiding us through random hallways, Evie's hand falling on her stomach absentmindedly. Producing a bright smile, Evie danced into the room. A clammy Latia reached for her, her sleek bob clinging to her pale face. Wincing in raw agony, a shriek burst from her lips. Dragging a chair next to her, Latia cupped her hand.

"Hey, Evie." She groaned gruffly, gripping her hand tighter. "Grayson went to go get me some water. How were you so calm through all of this torture." Chuckling softly to herself, Evie tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Taking Flynn from her arms, her full attention focused on Latia. Cupping her face, her next speech could inspire anyone.

"I did this not that long ago. If I can do it, then you can. I came back from the dead to get aunt card." She assured her with a motherly tone, her hands cupping both of her hands. "Let's have this baby." Grayson wandered in with a cup of ice water, his shoulder length hair pulled into a ponytail. Black bags hollowed out his eyes, his eyes falling on Flynn. Building up courage, he set the water down. This was big for his pride, his god complex nonexistent at this point. Was there a person Evie couldn't fix?

"Can I hold Flynn?" He choked out, Evie glancing up from the suffering Latia. Shooting me a thumbs up, he scooped him up. Pressing him to his steel gray t-shirt, his face softened. Tickling his belly, his personality had a complete shift. Seeing him so gentle quelled any worries I had, Susie cleared her throat, her stern gaze telling us to leave. Evie kissed Latia on the forehead before exiting with us, Susie pulled her to the side. Mixed emotions flashed on Evie's face, Susie pointing to her clipboard. An argument ensued, the other nurses looking up with muffins hanging out of their mouths. A quiet defiance flickered in Susie's eyes, Evie's numb eyes falling on the floor. Grayson stepped out to give Flynn back, his eyes taking in the fight. Putting her hand in the air, the conversation was over. Stomping past me, low growls rumbled in her throat. Scratching at the top of her hands, something eating at her. Plopping down in the darkest corner of the waiting room, her boot tapped incessantly. Folding her arms across her chest, her fuming expression turned me on.

"I'm pregnant, again." She admitted bitterly, leaning her head back. "I am such an idiot I only wanted to jump your bones. You must h-" Sitting down next to her, my free hand wrapped around hers. Kissing the top of her hand, a tender blush rose to her cheeks. A fit of laughter burst from my lips, confusion dawning on her face. Slapping my shoulder, her spunk is why I fell in love from the first moment.

"Didn't I tell you that I wanted loads of kids? This is fantastic news." I promised her lovingly, pulling her closer to my waist. "We can handle anything together." Resting her head on my shoulder, her genuine smile illuminated her face. My heart skipped a beat, tears streaming down my cheeks. For weeks, I thought that I would never see that illuminating smile again.

"I am sorry for dying." She apologized sincerely, playing with the hem of her skirt. "I missed you so much. I never intended to die that day. I need to stop attempting to do everything myself." Playing with her hair, her wet eyes met mine. My lips parted to speak, her head laying on my lap.

"Why do you love me? I put you through hell. You should have been repulsed by me coming back from the dead yet you held me like nothing happened." She questioned softly, yawning groggily. "I am not wor-" Covering her mouth, my crooked grin relaxed her fraying nerves. Money wasn't an issue, my bank account was healthy enough. Seeing her down like this shattered my heart, none of this was her fault.

"I love you for the way you play with the hem of your skirt when you are nervous. I love you for the way you kiss me when I am feeling tired. I love you for the way you help people first before killing them." I proclaimed proudly, watching a tired smile flicker to life. "Your pecks on my cheek were my everything and always will be. The day you showed up at school I couldn't help but bathe in your light. You are a kind soul who deserves all of the love in the world. Not once did you think twice about dying to protect us from Death's father." Guilt dimmed her eyes, her face faltering.

"I did that just to get it over with and what did it get me?" She returned honestly, a scraggly looking woman stumbled in. Ragged robes swallowed her petite form, a worn scythe sticking out of the long sleeves. Orange curls floated around her shoulder, her inky black eyes welling up with tears.

"The corrupt reapers wish to make you their leader." She choked out, pressing her forehead against the navy rug. "Since you killed our leader, the crown falls on you." Cursing to herself, she slid off of my lap. Getting down to her level, a sneer curled on her lips. My heart pounded out of my chest, a chill ran up my spine at her mood shift.

"No." She uttered simply, rising to her feet. "I refuse. If you want to make right with me then you will have to make things up with Death. Hell no. I don't have time for that. I have my own problems. If you don't like that, you can fuck off. Give them that message. Am I clear?" A malicious grin twisted her features, darkness glimmering in her eyes. Ripping her dagger from her neck, one discreet cut opened up her throat. Dropping to the floor, her body decayed to ash. One by one they popped up, charging her all at once. Raising her hand, ice daggers pierced their hearts. Ice swallowed them whole, one stomp with her foot shattered them into reflective pieces. Gritting her teeth, blood poured from her nose. The ground rumbled, a yellowed skeleton lumbered to a halt, his worn black robes fluttering in an icy breeze. Opening his lips, her boots crashed towards me. Taking out Flynn's hearing aids, her hands covered my ears. Her lips moved a mile a minute, time standing still. A wave of energy blew her hair back, inky sludge trickling down her cheek. Grappy landed behind him with his blade pressed to this throat. These two were two peas in a pod, a stomp impaling the reaper with a spike of ice. Icy petals devoured it, Grappy's heel shattering him into pieces. Lowering her hands, her fingers snapped. Time sped up to normal time, her body swaying. Sinking to her knees, her shaking hands wiping the blood from her cheeks.

"How many more?" She inquired sharply, empty footfalls echoing down the hall. "Just tell me." Stepping back pensively, a nervous grin twitched on his lips. Both of them perked up at the endless sea of corrupt reapers. Death slowly clapped his way out of the shadows, his open palm raising in the air.

"No one hurts my daughter! I made you and I can kill you all with a single spell!" He barked vehemently, the reapers raising their weapons. "So be it. Grappy, I need you to protect your master and her family. Can I count on you?" Time stopped, his hand lowering to his face.

"With the snap of my fingers, I condemn all rogue reapers to certain death." He chanted confidently, Grappy creating a dome around us and the entrance to the birthing suite. Snapping his fingers, a wave of inky flames devoured them all. Mouthing a spell to keep repairing the hospital, Evie struggled to stay awake. Inky sludge poured from every hole in her face, the last reaper decaying to dust. Crawling over to the nearest trash can, vomit mixed with blood. Clammy sweat drenched her skin, the toll harder on her than any other time.

"Why does it hurt so much?" She sobbed softly, trying to not cuss anybody out. "Solary said something about me smiting all the demons in Hell without a problem. What the hell is that about Death? Is it true? Will I have demons after me my whole life? Am I that toxic! Fury boiled in her veins, her hands gripping Flynn's hearing aids.

"It's true. You have the ability to end it all. That single reason is why the hunters want you. They have a machine that only you can power with your gift." He informed her briskly, his temper flaring through a wall of tears. "How can I put this? You were born part reaper. I am your real father. My duties stole me away from you. Why else do you think they wanted to kill you everyday? You must h-" Her genuine smile stopped him mid sentence, her body groaning in protest with every attempt to stand up. Giving up, she rested on her haunches.

"That is one of the best things I have ever heard." She wheezed, coughing up blood. "At least my hatred is valid towards my stepfather. You were busy, so what? If I could rewind the clock, I wouldn't change a thing. Who else gets to say Death is your father? Get down here and hug me, old man?" Pulling her into a warm embrace, he refused to let her go. Flynn's reaper's abilities made sense, sobs wracking both of their bodies. Touched by the moment,  Flynn's tiny fingers curling around my thumb proving to be the only thing to steal my attention

"I knew already." She continued tiredly, holding her bump. "Susie told me and I didn't want to believe her. I couldn't be any happier. I figured you would tell me eventually. I love you, dad." Setting her down next to me, he got on his knees. Pieces of his hair floated in front of his face, his hands cupping her knees. Resting his head on her lap, her slender hands cupped his.

"I promise to be a better father." He wept brokenly, the pure innocence of the moment pausing all of her pain. "I promise to always be there for you." Passing me his hearing aids, she watched lovingly as I put them in their place. Snapping his head up, his stern expression sent chills up my spine.

"Don't ever hurt her or I will kill you!" He warned icily, my head nodding. "I have to go. Be safe, my little reaper." Putting my hands up, his recent show of power was more than enough reason. Chucking softly to herself, she held up her arms. Embracing her one last time, he disappeared in a puff of smoke. Laying her head on my lap, a sweet slumber stole her away to dreamland.
