Daniel looked around some more,
The mist obscured anything beyond a few meters of vision.
He picked himself up,
And then...
*SPOOOOOOSH!!
A giant wave of water smashed against the surface he was standing on,
And subsequently soaking him thoroughly,
The cold wind whipped across his face,
"I think I'm starting to go crazy....
Am I on a ship of some kind?" Daniel said to himself.
Two giant chains connected to something on the wooden surface,
There was a guard rail surrounding the wooden surface he was on,
He moved over to the guard railing, still trying to process no longer being in his room.
He looked over the guard rails,
Foaming white water moving past,
He looked to the side,
The giant chains on the deck were actually connected to something,
A giant anchor.
He was definitely on a ship.
Two giant black painted gun barrels were sticking through the mist like giant telephone poles.
Two more big gun barrels were only now just coming onto view,
They were attached to two enormous turrets,
(His current location on the ship, the bow)
He was on a warship, a German one, by the looks of it.
It was way too big to be an Admiral Hipper,
And it couldn't be something like a Scharnhorst class.
The H-Series was never built,
This was a Bismarck class, it had to be!
A Bismarck class battleship?! None of those are even afloat! How could he possibly have gotten here?!
He had to be dreaming!
He immediately tried to pinch himself, to wake up.
He pinched himself hard, his fingernails digging into his skin.
Nothing.....
Either he must be sleeping really hard, or he wasn't in a dream.
Something then came to mind.
This was a Bismarck class battleship....
And he never saw one before, mainly because they were all destroyed.
Perhaps a little tour of the ship would be okay, not like anyone could get hurt,
Speaking of people on the ship, if this was a Bismarck class vessel, it would have to have at least some 2,000 men aboard.
Usually they would be running around doing their duties, but they were nowhere to be seen.
The mist then started letting up slightly, improving Daniel's visibility in the area surrounding him.
The bridge of the Bismarck became more visible, the stark windows and drab gray paint differing from the light-tan wood of the deck planks.
But something was off....
He squinted,
A figure could be spotted moving around behind the glass viewports, of the bridge.
He wasn't alone.....
——————————
A Few Kilometers away.
Slight time rewind
A young woman in a Black coat stares out over horizon,
Giant spiked icebergs petrude out from the otherwise flat surface of the water.
She kept eyeballing the surrounding area, as if looking straight through the horizon,
Truth is, she could.
She was a Shipgirl, which is essentially the manifestation of a warship in a human body.
She had an inbuilt radar system, which allowed her to sense things far beyond her field of vision.
Giant mechanical arms housed large gun turrets with barrels the size of an eyeball.
Her rigging, as it was known,
With rigging a Shipgirl could float across the water's surface, much like an actual ship.
Her name, was none other than that of Bismarck, named after the chancellor of Prussia, Otto Von Bismarck.
And she was the leader of the formidable fleets of the Iron Blood,
"The Royal Navy would certainly be coming." She thought to herself.
After what she did to Hood, sinking her in front of her own comrades
They would certainly be coming back for revenge, it was a matter of time,
Just she didn't know precisely when,
In her quest to benefit the Iron Blood, she'd attempted to harness the raw energy of siren technology to use against Azur Lane,
She'd managed to kill Hood using it, now she had to play the difficult game of waiting until the bulk of the Royal Navy was upon her.
She had this other feeling hacking at the back of her mind however,
Like something was off...
She convinced herself that it was probably the feeling of waiting getting to her, but that didn't make the feeling go away.
A Pale skinned figure approached her from behind,
Bismarck's eyes shrunk to needles, the annoyance in her expression growing.
"What do you want Siren..." she hissed
"What do I want?~" The siren responded.
"Why~ I'm just looking after your well being, is everything alright?" The Siren said.
The Sirens normally don't care about the well beings of others.
Bismarck grunted.
"I'm fine....." Bismarck said, barely bothering to glance.
"Hm? Oh, well it says here that your wisdom cube is acting up so-" the Siren started.
*B-B-BOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!!
A bright red lightning bolt flashed into the sky, shooting out jolts of electricity everywhere.
Instantly, layers of mist and smoke started forming out of thin air in the distance.
"That must be the Royal Navy!" Bismarck thought, instantly moving to engage as fast as her rigging could propel her.
She practically leaped away from the siren, nearly touching the surface of the water as she raced for the cloud of mist.
But then...
A feeling, almost like, something locking up, turning off.
She started falling,
Her eyes widened.
She could no longer feel the rigs attached to her back,
And in that instant,
her foot touched the water's surface...
*SPOOOOOSH!
At the speed she impacted the water, the mere drag of her foot touching dragged her whole body down,
she was knocked out instantly upon contact.
Her riggings, had disappeared.
The incapacitated Bismarck fell deeper into the depths, disappearing into a cloud of smoke under the water.
————————
Current time,
Battleship Bismarck's bridge.
"Herr Admiral! The mist is clearing up!" A bridge crewman said.
Admiral Günther Lütjens turned around,
The mighty battleship emerged from the mist cloud, revealing the sheer size of the vessel.
Giant, spiked icebergs dotted the horizon,
The last time Bismarck was sailing, there was no such icebergs around.
"We must have drawn near the Arctic circle again, I want observation aircraft up now!" The Admiral yelled.
"Tell the crew to come out, and send all crew back to their posts!" Captain Ernst Lindemann shouted.
Captain Lindemann was the Bismarck's captain,
Admiral Lütjens was assigned to the Bismarck's battlegroup for operation Rheinübung, and was the supreme authority onboard the ship.
A sailor made his way to the observation balcony, just outside of the bridge.
He put his binoculars up to his eyes and started scanning the horizon,
The Bismarck's radar had reliability issues because of the concussive force of its main guns, so it was always helpful to manually spot targets.
The last bits of mist started to settle down,
There was no way he could spot anything in this weather.
He put down his binoculars for a second,
But then, a shape emerged in the far distance,
He squinted, and then put his binoculars back up.
British warship!! King George V class!
He dropped his binoculars out of surprise.
"ALAAAAAAAAAAAM!!" He shouted.
