"Dammit Ash stop moving" I said as I struggled putting on his leash to his collar. We had just arrived in Seattle and gotten out of the plane a couple of minutes ago. Although Ash had to be on a leash because he's a dog and it's required "Don't move so much Ash, it will only take one-...AHA" I said as I clipped it in to his collar. He didn't look to happy about that but I could careless, he should be happy that we're going to see his owner, well I'm his owner also but his MAIN owner which was Demi.
There was cabs outside the airport and I had to ask the taxi driver if I was allowed to bring my dog inside his car. He said no but I offered to pay him twice the money that I would be paying him for the drive to the hotel and he quickly accepted the offer. Of course he would accept. I told him the hotel I was staying at and he immediately knew what I was talking about, mostly because he said celebrities always picked that hotel since it was one of the best with great service. I bet Demi's staying there, there's no doubt she is.
"Well miss, we are here. I hope you have a wonderful day and you too doggy" he smiled softly letting Ash's head. I grabbed my purse and took out a hundred dollar bill and gave it to him
"Keep it. Thanks for the ride..." I said stopping not knowing his name yet
"Khris" he said smiling at me
"Thanks Khris. I really appreciate it"
"No problem Miss Rivera. Tell Demi I said hi will you?" He chuckled getting ready to leave. How did he? "Yes I know who you are, I'm not dumb and there must be a reason you came up here coincidentally the same day she's performing a concert here" he said
"I will Khris" I said getting out of the car and getting Ash by the leash. I looked at the hotel before entering with Ash, I was immediately bombarded by staff members
"Miss would you like a coffee? Something to drink? A snack?" I shook my head at the girl. Damn I guess Khris was right, they do have the best service here from what I've seen.
"I'm fine thank you. Just need to get my hotel number" she smiled and led me to the front desk
"What can I do for you Miss?"
"Just arrived here at Seattle and I booked a hotel room here and I'm just checking if I can get my things to open it" The lady behind the counter smiled
"What's your name?"
"It's under Naya Rivera" I said "Its a pretty big room for myself but I needed a big room for this little guy right here" I told her mentioning Ash, and how he likes big places
"Oh yes Naya. Your room number is B278, which would be in the 4th floor and from there you should know. Your room is at the end of the hall, and is also the biggest room in that floor" She said getting up and grabbing something from behind a cabinet "This is your card. If you happen to lose your card to get in there's always a key, if not just inform us about it and you'll get another one" I nodded "and if you need anything just tell us and we'll be there as quick as possible with whatever you need"
"Thank you" I took the elevator to the 4th floor along with Ash and I was confused at first because I couldn't find my room number. I saw someone coming out of there rooms and I decided to ask them "Excuse me. Do you know where this room is at?" the girl looked at me and raised her eyebrows before looking at me up and down. Okay what's up with her
"Um...yes thats down the hall to your right" she said still shamelessly staring at me "I'm sorry but you look familiar. Have we met?" I looked at her
"I don't think so. I think I would've remembered you"
"Well stranger. Nice to meet you, I'm Gabriela, but you can call me Gaby with one B not two just one" I chuckled "Sorry, many people had made that mistake even my boss" she said rolling her eyes a little before laughing "She didn't know but when I told her she was extremely sorry, it was hilarious. She looked scared for some reason" she bursted out laughing "Anyways I need to go. I kind of have to leave in an hour so laters!" She said going back to her room. I was very confused at what had just happened. Ash seemed to not care, he was just laying on the floor as if he was ready to go to sleep.
"Cmon Ash, it's just right here" Once I found the room I immediately went looking for the bed and laid on it. I was so ready to go to sleep, then I remembered I have a concert to attend to in a couple of hours and I had to get ready also. I looked at Ash who situated himself next to my bed and was already sleeping I'm guessing because he was breathing steadily and he wasn't moving at all. I felt to lazy to unpack, since Demi was staying here for 2 days until her next concert I had booked this room for the same amount of time, so yes I brought luggage, not a lot but at least a couple of clothes and also things Ash will need. I then remembered that I had to do something before going to the concert and I immediately got up waking up Ash in the process "Sorry Ash. I'll be right back I promise. Just don't make a mess okay. or don't try to do anything that I wouldn't do okay?" He looked at me tilting his head "That's an okay. Okay I'll be back in an hour or so" I grabbed my phone and went to the front "Is there by any chance a way I can get a Taxi over here?" I asked the lady behind the desk
"Yes definitely. There might be taxis available outside, you can check" I walked to the front of the hotel and saw two available taxis and a black bus. I went to the first taxi that I saw
"You came back!" I didn't even have to look at the guy to recognize who it was
"Khris?! Funny seeing you here" I chuckled
"Well Miss Naya, what can I do for you now?"
"Can you take me best jewelry store in town" he looked at me smiling with bright eyes
"Proposing huh?"
"No! I mean not yet at least. I wanted to get a promise ring for her. Because I love her and I want to be with her my whole life. Jeez I sound like a lovesick puppy"
"It's okay. You're in love and that's totally fine. The best thing about it is that she loves you back and that's all that matters" I nodded "So to the best jewelry shop in town!" I giggled at his silliness.
We arrived 15 minutes later and well I was in the jewelry place for at least half an hour since there was so many rings to pick and they were all so beautiful. At the end I picked the most expensive promise ring they had in there and the most beautiful one of course before going back to the hotel. Ash was soundly sleeping on the couch of the living room. I checked the time and it was 4:18 pm. The concert started at 7:30 and I have to be there by basically 7, I had time to get ready and eat before I left. And that's what I did. By 6 pm I was already ready and Ash was well happy, i showered him also so he smelled pretty good, it wasn't easy showering him but I got it done. I had called Khris to come pick me up in his Taxi since he was one of the best taxi driver ever, and well he was my only friend I've made here so far. He was fine with it mostly because of the idea of me doing this.
"You ready for this?" He said as we drove to the place. I looked at him nervously
"Uh...I guess you can say that" I chuckled nervously "Just really nervous. I'm not even exactly sure what I'm going to do"
"What do you mean? Just show up and tell her what's on your mind and that you never want to let her go and the little stuff"
"Yeah I wish it was that easy, I'll probably be a stuttering mess" he only chuckled. We arrived at the arena around 6:50 which was pretty early
"We might have a problem" he looked at me as we were in the parking lot "I actually didn't buy tickets for her concert so..." I shrugged
"Well Naya I thought you would've been smarter then that"
"It was sold out! And I didn't know what to do. I didn't really think about it until right now in how I was going to get in" By now it was 7:00 and we were still sitting in the parking lot
"Maybe if they know who you are they'll let you in"
"Doubt that" I said looking at my phone screen checking the time
"Unless you want to sneak in" he said smirking
"Khris how old are you? Like 30. we are not going to sneak into her concert!"
20 minutes later we found ourselves inside the venue. You want to know how we sneaked in? Well through the back area, where usually there's security but I was surprised to see that there wasn't
"This way" Khris said, Ash followed closely behind as we were basically backstage. I heard someone shout 7 minutes out loud basically saying that there's only seven minutes until Demi goes on stage.
"We should hurry" I whispered
"Or" I raised my eyebrow signaling for him to continue as we hid behind one of Demi's your cases
"Or?!" I basically whisper shouted. We didn't have much time
"Or we can always wait until after the show" I shrugged. We would have more time, and I could just watch her from the sidelines performing which I wouldn't mind
"I wouldn't mind" I looked ahead and saw Demi from far distance walking towards our direction but she wasn't looking at us, she was looking at her manager Miguel who talked to her, the closer she got the closer I can hear the conversation
"So 5 minute break then outfit change and you get the point" Demi only nodded before smiling. She was only a couple of feet away when I saw her turn to her left, I saw Ash behind me trying to break free cause he had saw Demi
"No Ash No! Not right now okay" Khris stood up once he saw that the coast was clear. We all of a sudden heard music playing from the arena showing that Demi had just started her concert. I immediately told Khris to follow me as I held Ash by his leash. We walked straight ahead trying to find Demi's dressing room ahead. I stopped when I saw her name on one of the rooms and entered it quietly, I looked around and saw all this clothes and things thrown everywhere. I went to sit on one of the couches along with Ash as Khris just stood there.
"So we're going to be here the whole time?" Khris said sitting next to me
"I mean we can try to watch her show" I said shrugging. We exited out of her room only to bump into her tour manager who didn't look happy
"Naya?!" He looked behind me "Who-Who is this?" He said looking at the guy who was behind me
"This is Khris-"
"Please don't tell me you're breaking up with Demi for this guy that's why you're here. I don't want her to suffer from a heartbreak right now" I looked at Miguel like if he was crazy
"Um no...I would never break up with her. I love her. Khris is actually my taxi driver and he brought me over here" I said "And I kind of came here to give Demi this" I told him grabbing the little box from my pocket. His face looked so proud and happy.
"Naya...you're proposing!"
"No! It's a promise ring" I said showing him the ring
"Oh my god. Thats even cuter! You came here to give her that?" I nodded and he smiled and hugged me "Listen, her set ends in about 40 minutes so you'll be fine. Wanna come with to see her perform?" I nodded urgently "Then let's go" we started walking while I grabbed Ash "By the way why is there a dog in here?"
"He's ours and Demi. I brought him here cause he's part of our little family" he smiled continuing walking.
40 minutes later after seeing Demi perform in front of her sold out crowd she exited the stage and started taking to her manager which was next to us a couple of seconds ago apparently. She was a couple of feet away from us and I saw Ash starting to wiggle his tail. All of a sudden Ash barked and I quickly tried to cover his mouth or do something
"Uh was that a dog?" I heard Demi say, her voice got closer and closer to us
"I say we retreat now" Khris said whispering in my ear but once I was about to tell him something Demi was basically standing in front of us and Ash went to attack her to the floor
"Buddy?" I sighed and approached Demi "Naya?" She got up quickly and hugged me circling her arms around my neck but not before kissing me "What are you doing here? Why were you hiding there? Who is that guy behind you? Why ha-"
"Demi" I said stopping her "Calm down and take a deep breath" I smiled as she looked at me "First of all that guy is Khris my driver" She nodded looking back at him and glaring at him making me chuckle "And I came here to surprise you although I failed at surprising you. I also brought Ash"
"His names Buddy Naya!" she whined giving me a small pout
"Ash still sounds better" she shook her head
"Well I'm happy you're here with Buddy and your driver" she said still glaring at Khris
"That's not all" She looked up at me
"I also had to give you something that couldn't wait" She looked at me momentarily
"I uh..." I grabbed the little box from my pocket and I saw her mouth basically drop after seeing the box
"Don't you think it's too early for a wedding" I laughed making her furrow her eyebrows
"Demi I'm not proposing. This is a promise ring. I know this might be stupid and you might think I'm stupid for coming all the way over here just to give you a promise ring but I couldn't wait to get you this. I just wanted you to know that one day I will marry you. And that you have nothing to worry about, that I'm all yours and you're all mine, I just want to start a family with you already although I know it's too soon to get married, but I could wait, that's why I want you to have this" She had tears coming out of here eyes and I immediately wiped away her tears with my free hand "So will you Demetria Devonne Lovato accept this promise ring?" She only nodded smiling before I inserted the ring on her fingerand kissing her, our kiss soon turned into something more until someone had to clear their throats
"I'm still here you know, I kind of don't want you two to have sex in front of me" I heard Khris say making me and Demi blush
"Cmon" I whispered in Demi's ear making her shiver.
