"Brina, how did you convince Megumi to come with us?" Nobara wondered as soon as Brina joined them. "Ion know, I just asked like a normal person" Brina said shrugging.
"Are you For real?!" Yuji yelled. "He coming anyways so it don't really matter" Brina explained. 'He said no to my invite countless times. But he says yes to her in a day. That's crazy!' Yuji thought.
"There he go" Brina said when she saw Megumi coming out of the elevator. Megumi approached them and they all exchanged greetings. "You finally coming out of your room?" Yuji joked, nudging him.
Megumi slapped him on the back of the head. "OW! What the fuck?!" "The fuck is your problem?" Yuji asked shocked. "You're already annoying!" Megumi replied. Yuji rubbed the spot on his head where Megumi hit him. "That hurt!" he complained.
"Come on, I'm ready to go," Brina announced. They got into Yuji's car. "Yo Yuji, how your cat doing? He still be cuttin up?" Megumi asked. "Yup, still be showin' his ass every chance he get" Yuji answered.
The drive to their destination wasn't exactly long. When they pulled into the parking lot of the mall, "There's Maki!" Nobara pointed out as they exited the car.
Maki was talking to Inumaki when the group arrived. "MAKI!" Nobara shouted running up to hug her tightly. "I missed you!" Nobara exclaimed happily.
"Y'all act like yall haven't seen each other in years, geez," Yuji grumbled making everyone laugh. "You buggin" Maki teased while kissing Nobara on the cheek. Nobara blushed lightly and smiled.
"Ew ew," Yuji faked gagged. "Mad cus you don't have a girl yet," Maki countered, glaring at him. "Oh Aviana is on her way over here," Brina said, looking up from her phone.
"Aviana?" Yuji asked in confusion. "Yeah I invited her along," Brina explained. The whole group got quiet. "Brina, why are you still friends with her? She's such a meanie" Yuji commented.
"I'm sure she doesn't mean it though," Brina replied. "Whatever," Yuji muttered, rolling his eyes. "There she is," Brina said, pointing towards Aviana. "Hi, everybody," Aviana greeted cheerfully when she spotted Yuji and the others.
"Aviana," Yuji replied, giving her a polite nod. "You must be Megumi, I'm Aviana," Aviana introduced herself. "Nice to meet you" Megumi replied politely while shaking her hand.
They went inside the mall together. "Hey, Brina let's go to the clothes section" Nobara suggested Grabbing Brina's arm to pull her away. Brina smiled slightly and followed. "I'm surprised to see you out Megumi," Maki said while walking beside him.
"Yeah, me too." He chuckled. "You should get out more, I miss when you were bolder " Yuji chimed in. Megumi rolled his eyes. "Whatever" he muttered. It didn't take Brina long to find her favorite outfit.
Once they found it, they paid and headed out of the store. "We'll grab something to eat later, right?" Nobara suggested once they reached outside.
"Yea, that works for me," Brina responded. "Brina, over here" Yuji called. They made their way over to him and joined him at a small table. "I got something for you" Yuji hiding something behind his back.
"What is it?" Brina asked in curiosity, tilting her head. Yuji handed the object to her, and she immediately grinned widely after looking at what he had given her. It was a plushie.
"This is adorable!" Brina exclaimed excitedly. "You like it?" Yuji questioned with a smile. "I love it, Thank you!" Brina laughed, hugging him. "Don't mention it," Yuji mumbled, returning the embrace. The two broke apart shortly after.
"Now, how bout we go to some food?" Yuji suggested. "Sounds good," Nobara nodded. "Let's order, then we can go look at movies or something, at Brina's house" Yuji added. "I don't mind," Brina shrugged.
After ordering, they walked out of the mall to go to Brina's house. "Yo, I got to go home, I'ma holler at you later Bri" Aviana said as she waved farewell to the others and left. "Alright let's go, I can't wait to show you guys my home" Brina declared leading the way toward the car.
Once they arrived at Brina's place, they went straight to the balcony, admiring the view of the city, and enjoying the night breeze. "Imagine if the glass breaks and you fa-" "Finish that sentence and I will finish you" Nobara interrupted Yuji sternly.
"Wow, I feel a lot safer now," Brina said sarcastically chuckling. Yuji chuckled but remained silent. "What movie awe bout to watch?" Yuji questioned, changing the subject. "Let's watch Jurassic world" Maki suggested.
"You know I'm scared of that movie," Brina admitted, earning laughs and giggles from Yuji and Nobara. "Why you scared of it?" Yuji asked. "I don't know" Brina responded, shrugging. "Come let's watch it," Yuji insisted.
They all sat down on the sofa and put on the video. "Do you want something to drink?" Brina asked. "Yeah sure. Whatever you have would be great," Megumi replied gratefully.
"Here." Brina passed Megumi a glass filled with soda. "Thanks" Megumi accepted it.
After the movie
Everyone went was heading out "Okay, I'll see ya later. Be safe guys," Brina waved. "Yeah, thanks for having us over," Yuji said, giving her a small wave. "No problem!" Brina smiled. After saying goodbye, they took their leave.
"Brina grabbed her blanket and head to her room. She placed her blanket on her bed and sat down on it with her laptop.
A few moments pass and she was already typing away, clicking her mouse furiously when suddenly her phone rang.
Brina picked it up and brought it close to her ear, answering. "Yo?" She said. "What up?" Aviana asked. "Nothing much. I just finished watching Jurassic World with the gang" Brina responded smiling and sitting up.
"Dats cool and all but why did Yuji give you a plushy? Does he think you five?" Aviana scoffed. "I think it's cute actually," Brina admitted.
"Of course you do. But aren't you too old for plushies?" Aviana asked. Brina felt slightly offended. "Why does it matter to you though?" Brina argued. "I'm just stating facts Bri," Aviana chuckled.
"Whatever, I love this plushy," Brina said grinning. "So there's a party tomorrow, wanna come with me?" Aviana asked. "Who's throwing it?" Brina questioned curiously. "Andre's Fine ass is throwing it" Aviana answered.
"I don't know if I want to go," Brina answered honestly, frowning a bit. "Come on! It will be fun," Aviana urged. "Avianan, you know how I feel about him... I don't feel comfortable" Brina sighed. "Girl he don't want you, so what's the problem?" Aviana inquired.
"He wants me...not you, and you know it" she added with a chuckle. "That not what I was talking about.." Brina sighed. "Whatever you are coming with me, end of discussion" Aviana chuckled before hanging up.
"He- Damn it!" Brina cursed under her breath before flopping down on her bed frustrated.
