LET ME GIVE YOU AN UPDATE ON HOW THINGS ARE GOING WITH ME. I WAS SUPPOSSED TO GO TO MY EYE DOCTOR THIS PAST THURSDAY TO FIND OUT IF I AM GOING TO NEED SURGERY ON MY EYE AGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY, MY DOCTOR HAD A FAMILY EMERGENCY SO IT HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED.
BUT I COULDN'T SEE MAKING YOU GUYS WAIT UNTIL MAY FOR AN UPDATE. SO, I AM GOING TO UPDATE ON MY REGULAR SCHEDULE WHENEVER I AM ABLE TO SEE TO DO SO. I AM GOING TO TRY TO UPLOAD SEVERAL CHAPTERS TO EACH STORIES SO THAT I CAN JUST UPDATE WITH THE PUNCH OF A FEW BUTTONS. THAT WAY IF MY EYES ARE JUST A LITTLE MESSED UP, I CAN STILL UPDATE. BUT ON THE DAYS THAT I CAN'T SEE I WON'T BE ABLE TO UPDATE BUT I HOPE TO UPDATE AS REGULARLY AS POSSIBLE.
AS FOR MY ACTUAL PHYSICAL HEALTH, I HAD TO HAVE A CT ON MY STOMACH SO FAR, THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT I DON'T HAVE STOMACH CANCER. WHICH IS GREAT. BUT THEY HAVEN'T TOLD ME ANYTHING ELSE YET. AS FOR THE AFFECT THAT MY ILLNESS WILL HAVE ON MY UPDATE SCHEDULE, I DON'T KNOW YET. I HOPE THAT YOU CAN ALL BEAR WITH ME UNTIL I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.
NOW, AS FAR AS MY CURRENT STORIES GO, ONE OF THEM IS ENDING VERY SOON. THE ONLY THING LEFT AFTER THE CURRENT POSTED CHAPTER IS THE EPILOGUE, BUT AS A TEAST I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU WHICH ONE. LOL.

That sounded so familiar to me, so I lay there next to lyubov' moya and thought about it for a bit and suddenly a memory struck me. "Roza, I remember hearing about that storm, Ivan and I were even in Italy at that same time." (my love)
She looked shocked but a smile grew over her face and her eyes began to twinkle. "Did you get all wet Comrade?"
I laughed. "No detka, we were a few towns east of the storm when it hit actually." (baby)
She nodded. "Cool."
"You are amazing lyubov' moya, really and truly amazing." (my love)
"Thank you, but why?" Her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion again.
I was momentarily in shock because she truly didn't get it. "Lyubov' moya, you are the very first dhampir princess in our entire history as a society. The very same one who will become the very first dhampir queen in our entire history as a society. Even if you are barely even a dhampir anymore. You have magic like no one who has ever come before you or likely ever will again. You are able to conceive children with another dhampir, namely me, which also has never been done before in our society." I smiled at her like a complete and total nut job, and she returned my smile the very same way. We were both as happy and proud of that fact as we could ever possibly be. (my love)
"And you can and have restored strigoi back to their rightful place in the world. You have given them back to their families, friends, and other loved ones. You are the most beautiful, sweet, loving, kind, dedicated, determined, fiery, fierce, generous, gorgeous, gracious, glorious, and protective woman that I have ever been fortunate and blessed enough to meet in my entire lifetime. "No, no that's plenty thank you. But detka you are just as amazing, loving, sweet, kind, dedicated, determined, gorgeous, gracious, generous, fiery, fierce, and protective as you call me. And I love you just as much." (baby)
I couldn't help but smile each and every time that one of us told the other that we loved each other. And I wondered if either of us would ever get used to being able to do that or being able to show our feelings for each other to each other in public. Somehow, I very seriously doubted it.
"I guess that ublyudok Victor was right about something after all." I heard her whisper. (bastard)
(YES, I AM AWARE THAT THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED AT THIS POINT IN THE BOOK. BUT YOU GUYS ALL KNOW ME AND MY VAMPIRE ACADEMY WRITING STYLE BY NOW.)
"What do you mean mladenets?" I asked my own eyebrows knitted together in confusion this time. (babe)
"The fact that we are a match made in heaven."
I couldn't help but smile at her words. "Yes, we most certainly are lyubov' moya. We most certainly are." (my love)
"So, as I said, he was right about that one thing in his life. There is a first time for everything I guess." She said as she smiled and brushed a stray lock of hair back away from my face.
Suddenly she laughed.
"What's so funny angel moya?" I asked. (my)
"I was just thinking. You remember me telling you about how Victor kept trying to sneakily interrogate me for information on Lissa?"
"Yes." I nodded because she had come to me each time that he had more or less drilled her about all things Lissa. But she knew what he was doing so she knew not to tell him anything advantageous.
"Well, I looked a little more forward to see if I could figure out exactly why he was doing that."
"And what did you find out?" I asked her curiously.
"I found out that he was questioning me because he wants her as queen. And he wants her as the new queen simply because he thinks that she will be sympathetic to his cause. And he thinks that because she and I are so close that she will understand what he was trying to supposedly do for the dhampir. And he actually believes that he was trying to help us, the dhampir. But when I searched his mind, very deeply, and when I did. I found out that his true goals for not only what he had already done as well as everything that he had planned to do. Well, the secondary plan other than to have Lissa around to constantly heal him that is."
"What did you find out?"
"His most important ambition, at least to him, was that he wanted to be king because he wanted to run our world the way that HE wanted to. And if he couldn't do that by being king himself, he wanted the future monarch under his control. And he plans for Lissa to be that monarch. Which is why after we caught him, he now intends to ask to see Lissa. And when she acquiesces to his plea for her to visit him to allow him to explain himself to her. He then plans to compel her and get her under his control. If he could become king his short-term goal was to temporarily make the dhampir think that he actually cared anything whatsoever about any of us. He thought that if he could just get the dhampir behind him, get us to support him as it were. Then the moroi would have no other choice but to fall in line behind him as well. Either that or be left behind and defenseless without any guardians who would be willing to protect them. He thought that the guardians would be so supportive of him and what they thought that he was doing for them. That they would voluntarily leave their charges if their charges did not also fall in line and support him. He planned to make exceedingly small concessions here and there in the favor of the dhampir, which he thought would get them all on his side."
"That man is certifiable."
"Yes, he is. But what I was thinking about specifically was the fact that now that he has been caught, as I said he wants Lissa as queen. Only it is me that is in fact the future queen instead."
I thought about what she had said and then started laughing myself. "You're right. I can't wait until his trial, if the truth about you has been released by then. Just to see exactly what his reaction to the identity of the next queen is actually going to be." I laughed again and she joined me this time.
After several minutes of laughter for the two of us and then another twenty or so minutes of another very heavy make out session, we eventually returned to our talk.
"Alberta also told me to ask you about your time away from the academy, but she didn't tell me why. She just told me that it wasn't her story to tell. Was she talking about the strigoi restoration thing and the other things that you have already told me? Or is there something else that you want to tell me?"
"The strigoi thing is probably a part of what she was talking about as is the rest of what I have already told you thus far. And of course, I want to tell you, I want to tell you everything. I want us to know and share everything that there is to know about each other. I don't ever want there to be any secrets between us. Plus, if you are sure that you want to stay with me then you need to know about everything."
"All right. And detka, just so you don't ever doubt or forget this again. I am definitely sure that I am going to stay with you. I am going to stay with you for the rest of my life lyubov' moya. Please, whatever you do don't you ever doubt that ever again. And thank you sooo much for wanting to share everything with me, that means more to me than you could EVER possibly know lyubov' moya. "I'm soooo glad to hear you say that lyubov' moy, and you're welcome." Then came another passionate, long, and VERY loving kiss with yet another wonderful make out session to follow it. I swear, it's like we just can't keep our hands and lips to ourselves anymore. (my love)
She looked up into my eyes and just as sincerely as possible she said to me. "I have missed you so much Comrade."
I was stunned for a moment because I have been feeling much the very same way. And I told her so. "I have missed you too Roza moya. I am so sorry that I have kept us apart emotionally detka, and I am sooo very sorry that I kept pushing you away lyubov' moya. I will NEVER be able to express to you just how sorry I am about all of that. Nor will I ever be able to forgive myself for doing such things to you angel moya." (my, baby, my love, my)
"It's all right. We are here, now, together, forever. Right where we have always belonged. And you must forgive yourself because I forgive you. I forgave you the moment that you first told me, in English, that you love me."
"Yes, we are. And if I have any say in it whatsoever, we will be together every single moment going forward from here too. At least as many of those moments as we possibly can. And thank you for your forgiveness lyubov' moya." (my love)

For several exceedingly long minutes, we lay there in her bed, touching from our foreheads to our toes. Just reveling in the fact that we can be here together like this now.
"I love you Roza." I told her a bit later.
"I love you too Dimitri." She said as if her very life depended on me knowing that she does in fact love me. And then I kissed her gently doing my absolute best to show her my love for her in return.
Several minutes later, after once again getting our breathing back under control, she and I continued on with our conversation. "Now, on with my story. When I finally gave in to Ms. Karp and the Dragomir's and decided that it would be safer for Lissa to be away from the academy and all the threats here. Along with the mental and emotional pain and trauma and the danger that we both sensed was here. I talked it over with Aunt El and mommy Al and I told them what was going on, as well as what Ms. Karp and the Dragomir's had been telling me." She looked at me to see if I was following along, when I nodded, she continued on with her story.
"And they both agreed with me, saying that I did indeed need to take Lissa away from the academy to keep her safe. So, I called baba and asked him to send a jet to the Missoula airport for us. And as soon as everyone went to sleep; mommy Al, Aunt El, and the fab five as you call them. All took Lissa and I to the airport where baba, Uncle Pavel, Uncle Sergei, and another dozen or so of babanin private guardian army met us. Baba agreed with me when I said that they should not land here. Because the people in the air traffic control would have to have a place of destination and of origination for the flight as well as other information that we did not want anyone, outside of our circle, to have. And we both knew that that kind of information getting out was just too dangerous. Not only for him and Lissa, but also, and more importantly to my baba, for me. Which is why I said for him to go to Missoula instead, and he did land at the private tarmac of the Missoula airport. He always followed whatever decisions that I thought would be best concerning Lissa and her personal security. He said that I knew how best to keep her safer than anyone else because I knew her and the Dragomir's better than anyone else. So, I would always take the lead with her, and where her security is concerned." (daddy, daddy, daddy's, daddy, father)
I nodded because I absolutely agreed with both she and Abe. Whatever it took, and takes in the future, to keep angel moya safe, happy, healthy, sane, and alive is what WILL be done from this day forth. And just one of those things would be keeping Lissa safe, healthy, happy, and alive. (my)

Angel moya never liked bringing attention to her bravery or her acts of heroism and so forth. She wasn't used to receiving praise from very many people. But she will have to get used to it from at least one more person. Me.

She giggled shyly for a moment ducking her head to hide the blush on her precious face. "Anyway, for the first three months after we left the academy, baba took us to Greece. Mitya, that place is yeblya amazing!!! I really can't wait to go back there. I could live there for a hundred and seventy-five years and still not be able to see and experience everything that I want to see and experience there." (daddy, fucking)
I smiled at her genuine enthusiasm about Greece and just how much she loved it there. I loved to see her happy about anything, and it is glaringly obvious that she abso-yeblya-lutely loves Greece. (fucking)
"How did the Dragomir's tell you to take Lissa away?" I asked, remembering what she had told me earlier.
"Didn't I tell you that already?"
I shook my head.
"I'm so sorry, I thought that I had already told you." She looked sooo frustrated and aggravated with herself.
Gently I cupped her cheek and with my thumb under her chin I brought her eyes up to my own. "Hey, don't get upset with yourself angel moya, there is absolutely no need for that. Everyone forgets things on occasion detka, no one in this world is perfect milaya moya, but you come pretty chert near close. Closer than anyone that I have ever physically met before actually, so just go ahead and tell me now detka." (my, baby, my dearest, damn, baby)
Eventually she nodded. "Ok. Well... I can see ghosts, or spirits as some people prefer to call them. And that is how the Dragomir's helped to convince me to take Lissa away from the academy and thus the threat that Victor Dashkov posed to her."
I felt my mouth almost fall open. "Really?"
"Yep."
"Ok."
Ok ad, which shocked me more than almost everything else that she's told me last night and today put together. The only thing that shocked me more than this was the fact that she and I can have a biological family together. And on top of that is the fact that she can restore strigoi back to their rightful place in the world. Out of everything that she told me, those were the three most shocking of them all. (hell)

"Of course. I believeyou Roza moya, if you tell me that you can see the spirits of those who havedeparted from this world. Then I have no doubts whatsoever that you cansee the spirits of the people who have left this world behind them. No if's,and's, or but's about it. I would ask how, but you've already said that it is aside effect of your shadow kissed state. So, since I have absolutely no pointof personal reference for the side effects of being shadow kissed.
