(Weekends✨✨)
Hunter had tagged along with Luz to the Blight manor. He had zero plans for the weekend, and besides, he wanted to read the other parts of that book he read a few days back.
Luz would only visit the manor when the parents were absent, her girlfriend would tell her about their presence. Oh yeah, they started dating a while after valentine, that's fun.
"So Hunter"
"What?"
"How's you and broccoli boy?" (*Mha flashbacks)
"We're okay, I guess. But better question, how's you and Amity?"
"W-we're doing good" Luz stuttered.
"Luck," The blonde playfully hit the other's shoulder.
"Rude"
The two siblings walked for a while longer until they reached the manor. It was big, that's for sure.(That's what she said👹)
"So, you're just gonna knock, or?"
"Mhmhm"
Luz knocked the front door of the manor, with Hunter standing behind her. A butler had opened the door and smiled, "Welcome back, Luz. Miss Amity and her siblings are in their rooms"
"Thank you Fred,"
Then they walked upstairs, "Whoa," Hunter blurted out.
"Yeah, I talked to the maids and butlers here, they got to like me, their pretty nice"
"So, where do I go? It's kinda awkward just, y'know"
"I'll come with you, so Edric's room?"
"Don't have anywhere else, sure"
"Alright, this way"
"I'm not used to this"
"Neither was I when I first came"
The brunette had stopped Infront of a room and knocked several times, after a few seconds someone spoke up, "Luz?"
"Ed, it's me,"
"How'd he know that was you?"
"No one in the house knocks like that"
"..Alright, weird"
Somebody opened the door, it was Edric who's hair was still wet. "Oh, Heya Luz, Hunter"
"Hunter was wondering if he could hangout with you while I go to Amity's room"
"Sure, come in Hun"
"Mk, bye Luz"
"Bye Hunt!" Then she left.
Hunter was now facing the green haired male, he didn't know what to say. But Edric had done for him,
"So, why the sudden visit love?"
"We're not even in public, do really have to call me that?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I"
"Anyways, I didn't have anything to do today and decided to tag along with Luz"
"Alright then love, also you can sit"
The blonde sat on the other's bed while he tried to dry his hair, looking at Hunter. Hunter was wearing a yellow hoodie with jogging pants that had stripes on the side, his hair slightly messy, but it looked fluffy.
A while after, Edric was now sitting next to Hunter. Both remained quiet for a sec but Hunter spoke up, "I just realized, we don't know much about our likes and dislikes"
"We've been dating for at least a month now, how come we never talked about this?"
"I dunno, but anyways, basic question; what's your favorite color?"
"Hmm" The greenette thought for a while. The blonde chuckled, "You don't know?"
"Eh, no one really asks me that question so I never thought of it"
"It's fine, take you time"
"Can we just talk about something else?"
"Sure, Ed, sure"
And afterwards, Edric carried most of the conversation, while Hunter listened to his rant, look at the other with small admiration.
"-And basically people think his dad's the most powerful villain/monster but I still don't know about that-" The greenette trailed off.
"Which fandom is this again?" Hunter cut him off.
"Oh, it's Monster Slayer Academia"
"Luz watches that, though, I never took interest"
"You just like me better Hun"
"Mhmhm, sure, keep dreaming"
"Sweetheart, that wasn't very nice, are you saying you don't like me?"
"I- no, of course not"
"So, but anyways, I heard there's more new students attending during Monday, I'm not sure where they were originally from though"
"Students?"
"Yeah, two of them are girls, and then one guy. Don't know if they know each other"
"But it's literally the middle of the school year"
"I know, don't worry bout' it Hun. Also did I mention their also the same age as us?"
"Nope"
"There's a possibility that some of them will be in the same class as us"
"Hopefully they aren't that annoying as Elena" The blonde mumbled.
"Y'know, Elena isn't that bad, we made up and is starting as friends"
"So, do you have to ignore me after she talks to you now?"
"I don't ignore you Hun, besides, are you jealous?"
"No, not really"
"Suree"
"But, since you and Elena are on good terms now, why keep fake dating?"
"I still don't trust her all that much,"
"Mk,"
Silence filled the air, none of them talked. It was awkward to say the least, luckily. Emira barged into the room breaking the increasingly awkward silence.
"Hey Ed, have you seen my-" She looked in his direction, "Oh hi Hunter. Ed have you seen the fifth book of-"
"Mitten's borrowed it" Edric cut her off.
"Alright, thanks" And she left.
"Umm, ok.."
"It's normal, you'll eventually get used to it one way or another"
Suddenly, Hunter's phone which was on the night stand buzzed, "Hold on Ed" He picked up his phone and look to see what it was, and to absolutely no surprise, it was Vee.

Hunter turned his device off,
"What was that about?"
"Oh, y'know, little sister annoying the shit out of you"
"Nah, mittens doesn't annoy us that much. We annoy her"

"Your hair looks soft"

"I know," Edric said now stroking the other's hair.
"My hair's already a mess, stop making it worse"
"No"
"Bitch-"
"Your dating me Hun, which means you also have to deal with me"
"Fake dating"
"Ehh, sure. But anyways wanna go sneak out tonight?"
"What???"
"We won't go anywhere far, just at the park nearby"
"My mom wouldn't approve,"
"I'll just go to your house, no big deal"
"My mom's gonna see you"
"I'll be by your window"
"Do you know where that is?"
"I know your curtain color"
"Eh,"
"Is that a yes?"
"Maybe sometime it the future, but just don't get yourself hurt or in trouble"

Emira laughed, "Fine, I'll spare you, for now"
Now, you might be thinking how this happened. Well, long story short. Emira went back in Edric's room while Hunter was talking about the book he read a few days back. And then she invited him to her room but Edric didn't agree and they chose to stay in Emira's room. The blonde and the older twin talking about the book while Edric stayed, clinging onto Hunter the entire time and eventually fell asleep.
So much for 'Long story short'
"Mmm," Edric groaned.
"Rare" Emira had blurted out.
"What?"
"Just Edric doing that is rare. Hold on, lemme get some blackmail"
"Okay..."
"Speaking of which, you guy's aren't actually dating. Are you?"
"How did you know?"
"I'm his twin, I know everything."
"He said he just needed people to back off,"
"Do you like him?"
"Pardon?"
"Do you like my brother?"
"No..?"
"C'mon, I won't tell him"
"He's literally right here, y'know"
"He won't hear, just tell me"
"I don't like him.."
"Tell the truth"
"Okay fine, I do. Happy?"
"Perfect, and thanks for confirming my theories"
"Perfect?"
"Don't worry bout' it"
"You have blackmail on me, don't you?"
"This happens often, doesn't it?"
"It's usually Vee, but Luz also does it"
"Sheesh"
"Vee's usually the one blackmailing me,"
"We have our fair share of blackmail against each other, but anyways-"
Hunter had came to realization and cut her off, "Wait, wait, wait, did you record what I said???"
"Uhhh, no?" She said, unconvincingly.
"Don't show it to him"
"And what if I will?"
"Don't"
"Hmm, suree"
After a small not-so-serious argument, Edric had woken up, "The fuck?" The male Blight blurted out.
"That's the first thing you say??" Asked Hunter who chuckled.
"Shut up Hun"
"Oh, wow, rude"
"Normally, he's a bit moody when he wakes up. Don't know why though" Emira added.
"We'll go back to his room,"
"Alright, I don't mind"
Hunter to force Edric to get up. A few complains later, Edric finally got up, still half-asleep.
"Edric, get yourself together,"
"..No" The greenette said in raspy voice.
"We're going to your room anyway"
"Ughh"
"Stop complaining Ed, you can continue to sleep there"
They finally arrived at the other's room, Edric now looked more awake than he did a few minutes ago. Hunter made himself comfortable, the greenette sitting next to him.
"Hun,"
"Yeah?"
"I...I kinda-"
But he was soon cut short when Luz had barged into the room, "Hunter, we gotta get home, it's getting late"
The blonde checked the time to see it was now 5:52pm, "Alright,"
"Bye Ed, text me later"
"Okay, bye Hun"
And boom, they left. Hunter had now broken up with Edric:(
Nah, angsty shit won't come until like, the next few chapters. Just to inform you, the new student's names are,
